Even if everything is limited, they stay available through medals. So as long as you spend 42k gems on banners, you get to buy her with the medals you've stocked up, even if her banner is long gone. That said, she should be out in April.

From what I've seen in JP, we're getting about 8k gems a month as F2P. It seems the launch gives about 16k, if you spent the prereg 3k on rerolling with the 2 tickets. So should take about 3 months before you can get your first character with medals as a F2P. Considering the focus rates of 0.5% with multiple characters and 1% with a single character, and the daily single pulls, you have good odds of getting a limited character every 3 banners or so. Not too bad when compared with other gachas, just gotta hope we don't get powercrept extremely fast, which usually doesn't happen much in singleplayer gachas.

She's not powercrept and I honestly don't think they'll make a better lightning support anytime soon. She's not really much of a healer, so she needs to be paired with a defender. The actual worry you should have is how much of the content will be made to resist or nullify lightning to balance it out.

Better as a healer. Depends what you're looking for: 100% crit + Small AOE heals or 20% lightning damage + Bigger AOE heals.

As far as I know this game is going to stay a damage race, so heal focused chars are likely not going to be very useful.
Also, somewhat underrated, Resna's ult RIPS. Her passive granting her increased crit damage on top of the 100% crit-rate on her ult leads to some pretty insane aoe. Admittedly, I have no aoe damage dealer, so dunno how well they do. But compared to Corneria (another "support", just for breaking not buffing), it's a frickton more.
Corneria is a breaker so it's a whole different role.
Not really. Both are supports. Different kind of supports, but supports nonetheless. Try playing without them and see how that goes.

Credit where credit is due. Being able to 3 star the hardest exp stage with pic related is a really cool thing. While the initial battle resetting sucks (the big metal puni oneshot, and I couldn't break the bigger one with a single drop kick so I needed a power down tile on its turn), it's pretty neat what you can make work in this game. I get myself caught a lot trying to get through stages the game doesn't really want me to yet.

Reroll for Corneria/Logy + Ryza/Resna at the very least. Ideal would be Corneria, Ryza and Resna. You'll do just fine just by having Ryza and since all the units available right now are permanent so you'll get them eventually.

Aside of the sluggish as frick menus making simple daily routines take way longer than they should, my biggest complaint about the game is the story.
It's Ryza 1 all over again. Done by people who never played Atelier. Feels like a bad LN you see anime adaptions of once in a while. This game could've been so good if they did it like Dusk or even Lulua. But no. We need our generic shit villain characters that are stolen right out of a sunday morning shounen anime. Blergh. I'd rather tag along with Keith trying to figure out the secrets behind alchemy in the world, than this low effort "drama" trash. Way to waste all the potential a perpetually running Atelier story could've had. [/rant]
Seriously, Gust can do so much better, even if they aren't necessarily great at finishing things off well. (Dusk... and Lulua was also rushed as frick towards the end)

So far, every emulator gives you an "abnormal request was sent to the server, restarting game" every time you click past the title screen, meaning the game detects your emulator and stops you.

I have only seen it about twice as well. Iv also gotten the night time animation, which seems to be a guaranteed featured animation, but very random when it decides to play. Not like Dokkan Battle which very often plays a special animation every other time you get something good. Other than that, their facial expressions when they look at each other or the gold sparkles when they start running mean virtually nothing.
Really wish you can skip the entire pull animation and just see the results, no swiping needed.

I've been getting tons of "triple item activation" after upgrading my party but I don't know the reason why, there doesn't seem to be any stat o passive ability in-game that results in more multiple activations, is it just random and I'm having luck? Or is it a mechanic I don't understand cause I'm moronic?

I was thinking this game's gacha is similar to Nikke, as in there's literally no benefit to doing a multi. But at least Nikke is smart enough to give a pity currency you can actually use and save up to buy any character in the future because it doesnt expire, the featured rates arent fricking cancer and nothing burgers, and the gacha isn't split between actual playable units and useless stat stick jpeg equips as stupid as Dragalia Lost.
What the hell were they expecting? Did they seriously believe this would sell? At least Nikke has coombait to sell itself with, this IPs as niche as it gets and im not seeing enough of Ryza's thick ass thighs in the marketing which is pretty much the only reason those her games caught on with the general public.
this game is an attempt to garner interest in older titles and non-ryza characters. One tenpull costs close to one atelier game on 60% discount. The fact that this game has such atrocious microtransaction balancing either means that the devs dont listen to the playerbase or the playerbase is so braindead that it thinks this is acceptable practice. No season's pass or passive gem generative purchases, the launch event is gatekeeping and already requires specific meta units and many more player-activity shackles with gem baits like surveys and friend referrals to trick your friends into this shithole. It's designed to make 80% of all accounts unable to receive all accounts.

It can be cleared with any party consisting of 1 defender, 1 supporter which can heal, 1 breaker (marion would be the best option, but any breaker can do it), 2 attackers (preferably one of them having an AOE burst, like Resna which you start with).

I dont know about Nikke but in concern to Atelier Res:
- 10pull gives one extra pity currency so you are forced to 10pull over single pull.
- No soft pity so you can basically pull 200 times without getting any 3* characters or SSR memorias
- Gacha Pool is diluted with memorias (stat stick items)

It's more generous than OO was on its first year actually, which isn't much but enough to complete everything. Gameplay is pretty similar to early OO which is what hooked me. Has less rng from turn order since speed is a thing, but has more rng from buff/debuff/burst tiles. Turn manipulation is more prevalent and breaks aren't as easy as in OO so there's more strategy to the fights.
I guess I'll wait till "Lufenia" happens then

FR era is when the player and revenue decline started. It's when most people got bored and half the fights could be solved by having either Setzer or CoD (or both). I hope that they learned from OO for this game.

She wasn't ever particularly good at anything in Shinryu. Do you mean Quina (since you mentioned Setzer)? They didn't come until like 1 year into Shinryu anyway. I think off turn teams were generally easier than on turn teams, so it'd be more like Reno, Auron, Cor, Minwu, Celes, Beatrix, Rydia, Rubicante, Kelger, etc. basically in that order that could single handedly solve fights for you
They just need to not ever make an absurd scaling mechanic and the game should be fine. It dooms every game that it is ever included in, because there is nowhere to go after that, and it becomes what the entire game revolves around I still think they could have better and more favorably implemented FR by essentially turning it into a break gauge, but I wont go into that

She was never good in Shinryu, except for like 3 days where she benefited from the same bug Kam got to enjoy as a feature. Setzer wasn't even particularly good outside of lockout fights, which were all but non existent by the time he came around, and Quina was best when used for the traps. And six warrior fight number 5 was actually a Rydia fight because Setzer didn't exist yet and Quina was useless because it was a BRV shield
