The endgame is literally >run these 10 dungeon over and over forever
You need to have literal brain damage to play it for long after you finish the campaign
D3 felt like a never ending labyrinth, so you were tricked into believing that every place was different, thanks to the tileset. D4's dungeon repetition is mind numbing. They took the worst aspects of dungeons from D2/D3 and implemented them on D4.
Blizzard made a mediocre game?
Where have you been for the last decade and a half
Do people not develop a sense of pattern recognition these days or what
The industry and activision in general is designed in a specific manner that allows for normies to get milked in cycles, if anyone makes a game thats too good, then the normies wont get milked properly.
Thats why games like Hots got killed. Thats why Blizzard in general was taken over by activision, the higher ups do not allow for independant competetion and the entire market is very stricktly controlled to act first and foremost as a social engineering scheme and 2ndly as a profit sharing factory.
They allow indy companies to pop up because it keeps the illusion of fair competition going and if they ever become too popular they will always be swallowed up by a big developer and their product will be watered down to suit the tastes of the lowest common denominator.
That is the cycle of American capitalism and it has nothing to do with gaming. Everything sucks because nothing is allowed to excel because it would give the normies a sense of standards and keep their wallets closed. When the majority of your population are relatively poor well fed with goy slop that reduces their iq and given bucket loads of low quality entertainment with high production values it creates the illusion they are living in a prosperous and functioning society.
Its like the American electoral cycle where new presidents and political parties are patch notes coming from the same source providing an artificial sense of choice. You have none. Blizzard activision is in a cycle right now of playing the bad guy or out of touch idiot. They will come back at some point.
>They allow indy companies to pop up because it keeps the illusion of fair competition going and if they ever become too popular they will always be swallowed up by a big developer and their product will be watered down to suit the tastes of the lowest common denominator.
I hate this shit the most because it gives me a slight glimmer of hope every time a vampire Survivors type pops up but then I know a few years down the road after their(the indy) third game or so they just get bought up and the big corps just use the old indy name to push out more slop.

The answer for that is to not get atached to a brand, just enjoy the games while they are good and forget about then when it starts to suck. The reason why people are still giving blizzard money despite all the frickups it's because of brand attachment and misguided loyalty.
If everyone had gave up on blizzard once the games started sucking we wouldn't have to keep dealing with this bullshit, but people wanted to fool thenselves that Diablo 4 would be good, despite blizzard not making a good game in almost 10 years, simply because they liked Diablo when they were young and wanted to hope it was going to be good.
Just accept that Blizzard North and all they IPs are dead, no amount of nostalgia is going to bring it back. Don't cry because it's over; smile because it happened.
Its a sign from god that videogames are a waste of your time and damaging to you. Let the past be and enjoy your time as you had it but its time to move on.
I think really the only benefits I have had from videogames were learning tactics and certain kinds of logic i can apply in every day life but by in large I think videogames are largely a cancer meant to control people and mentally damage them. The social media influencers who are "normies" or somewhat bubbly are there to trick people into thinking that videogames are fine and a normal habit.
Quite frankly I think videogames are worse than drugs and your time is better spent learning how to make pottery, paint, or dance.
I also think tv and movies are shit as well and serve the same purpose of distracting people.
Its the exact same thought pattern as when Britain flooded china with opium in order to damage the population instead we have digital opium that is reinforced by fake people who are made of the same screen technology made to enslave. Basically modern technology is kind of like drugs that push themselves onto people by putting a human face on the drugs and a relatable personality it makes it seem okay.
The thing is that no one like Asmongold or Grubby are going to come save you when you cant pay rent. The entire streaming industry depends on carismastic people duping idiots and poor people into wasting their time watching them instead of doing research or learning something productive. Fundamentally what videogames do is trick the human brain into thinking its doing work on something meaningful which I think is more insidious than drugs because after a while your game will become out of date or unpopular and you will have gained nothing while saying even if you learn to sing or perform or some artistic talent on drugs that will stay with you for life and be a skill you can trade for money. Videogames just suck your soul while shitting on you.
My whirlwind barb is level 66 now. I'm having fun just logging in, doing some nightmare dungeons until helltide and repeat. Leveling has slowed down a lot. Probably would be easier if I wasn't a b***h and made some friends.
Over 10 years ago Diablo 3 launched with A REAL MONEY AUCTION HOUSE and you frickers have the gall to think blizz hasn't been money grubbing since then?
Blizzard is dead to us. StarCraft 2 was acceptable but everything afterwards was garbage
the "auction house bad" thing gave it free publicity, they wouldn't have made much more money from it like that if they kept it in, it would have killed the game very quick...
as with any scam-like money-making scheme, best thing to do is get in early, get out quick, and just cut your losses when you've made a somewhat reasonable amount, which they did
Because it's a game about killing monsters to get loot in a game they made where you buy the loot off the AH instead of killing monsters.
They reason why they removed it is because nobody was actually playing the game..
>70~100 dollar game with the monetization of a F2P phone game
You have to be shitting me, what's there is pretty good but they fricked it up pretty much right out of the game with the way they decided to support the game. You can really tell that against all odds, there's still some good game development taking place at Blizzard but then above them, everyone from the middle management to higher leadership and even the shareholders are all absolute rats preying on the company's legacy and remaining talent, scrambling to squeeze it dry to the very last penny.
What blizzdrones are smoking at this point I don't know, but there's one Hell of a defense force for this scam of a game for some reason.
It's a damn shame because they really had something good here but it was ruined pretty much day zero.
D4 bad
why tho
D4 is designed like a mobile game with predatory monetization, immortal was merely a beta test for what they can get away with.
That automatic click on the redeem pass button was fricked up.
Patch 1.1
The day Diablo died.
The endgame is literally
>run these 10 dungeon over and over forever
You need to have literal brain damage to play it for long after you finish the campaign
Or bound and determined to hit level 100 with only slight brain damage.
That's all ARPGs, though
I'm sure you never used the argumentation that D2 was bad because of all the Baal runs while defending the same thing in D4, I trust you bros
D3 felt like a never ending labyrinth, so you were tricked into believing that every place was different, thanks to the tileset. D4's dungeon repetition is mind numbing. They took the worst aspects of dungeons from D2/D3 and implemented them on D4.
That's how every Diablo game has been. The game failed as a Diablo game long before that point.
And literally none of them take place in hell.
That's a man
Everyone's a man.
Blizzard made a mediocre game?
Where have you been for the last decade and a half
Do people not develop a sense of pattern recognition these days or what
They can't tell genders apart anymore
Seriously. I haven't bought a Blizzard title since Cataclysm. They're one of the biggest falls from grace in vidya dev history.
Mortal Kombat 17
Does anyone play Elite: Dangerous anymore?
Everyone talked about it for a solid 2 months. Sounds good for a finite ARPG.
>make patch that nerfs every class to the ground
>everyone hates it and stops playing the game
WHAT THE FRICK DID THEY EXPECT

>makes post constantly
How can anyone forget it with you autistically shilling PoE?
I dumped my gf during the first two weeks it came out, she was an butthole all the time
Found out a month later she was cheating on me anyway
Thanks blizzard u a real 1
le cuck
idk im playing mhw
This game looks fun but I’m waiting for at least a year’s worth of patches and a steam release before I play it
its not fun
they managed to suck the fun out of pretty much every class gameplay from level 1 until you beat the campaign
then you have to endure more of that same cooldown based moronic women designed mobile gacha game gameplay
play whatever else and learn it now, stop giving blizzard israelites money
>steam release
>game requires battle.net, so steam will just install battle.net to launch it
the honeymoon period (and the paychecks for the shills) ended
>the paychecks for the shills) ended
Not all of them. The GNC/Maxroll shills are still in overdrive, only now focusing on the Diablo 3 PTR
leveling up a new character every season is a chore and uninteresting
That's how I judge a season. When followers were allowed to have gear, it was a blast, because I could finally have more space in my bank!
Diablo 4 forgot about the fun and conveniences that seasons are supposed to bring.
they happened
>D4 is dead
>PoE new league just dropped
>no threads
it's a failure, isn't it?
Why would anyone care about a new PoE league if PoE2 is the next big thing from that studio?
My whirlwind barb is level 66 now. I'm having fun just logging in, doing some nightmare dungeons until helltide and repeat. Leveling has slowed down a lot. Probably would be easier if I wasn't a b***h and made some friends.
Hope you like doing that content, that is all you will be doing it for the rest of the game.

Blizzard is dead to us. StarCraft 2 was acceptable but everything afterwards was garbage
why did they remove it? i made like 150 bucks selling shit, lost interest and stopped playing, then read they removed it.

Turns out no one wants to repeat the same shit over and over again. Especially if they make it a more miserable affair.
Game lacks any sort of endgame. What is the point of reaching level 100? To fight Uber Lillith who doesnt have any drops?
Beating Sirus, Maven, or whoever is the current final boss of the league to get their drops made PoE replayable
