I loved Killer7 and didn't really like No More Heroes, because it just seemed like a lot of jokes (some very good, some not) strung together for no real reason and glued into a blob by some mediocre gameplay. I could go on about it but it's not "retro" so I'll just say, Travis should obviously have picked Shinobu over boring Sylvia

it's like a movie game and you do prompts when asked to. it's just really stylish and very well done, so the fact that it's barely a game doesn't matter
Anything by Artdink but I recently came across JP copy of Tail of the Sun in the wild at a local game store and it's really wacky.
Not an amazing game but I like the charm of just being an unga bunga caveman/woman and just fricking around killing things slowly making progress although admittedly after about two hours I wanted to see what exactly the goal was and went online to check, but going in completely blind is pretty funny.
It's a pain in the ass but oddly engaging.
I have not played their other games but I'm curious to look into their backlog, although I know a majority of it is mixed in reception.
