It's been years people have been having meltdowns over GPUs. You don't need the top of the line latest in tech, needs it's own liquid coolant GPU. A GPU from 5 years ago works fine. I feel like you homosexuals just can't build a PC and don't understand it's your processor or PSU that's throttling you.

I'm not going to buy you those rx 580, if you have a GPU below a 1050ti it's a good idea to buy one, apart from the fact that playing wears out the electronic components more or less like mining

Then don't buy a used GPU from 5 years ago. What the frick are you doing if you are?

With this phrase that is implied, idiot, if you already had a high-end one from 5 years ago, the jump is not really significant, although you can feel the lack of VRAM if they are smaller or very fair at 4gb

How the frick is that implied? If I say buy twinkies from 5 years ago do you automatically assume I'm telling you to buy used twinkies? Don't blame others for your own moronation

      With you until
      >your processor or PSU that's throttling you
Unless you're a e-sports moron wanting 400fps in CS:GO, CPU upgrades haven't been necessary for 60fps gaming since the r5 1600 or any equivalent performance CPU.
The PSU thing is even more moronic. If your PSU is the limiting factor, you'd see it trip and turn off your PC, or in less severe cases, cause instability for your overclock. You don't suddenly get higher fps by getting a higher wattage PSU if the one before it was more than capable.

        Anonymous

        >60fps gaming
Why would you play on PC and limit yourself so arbitrarily?

GPU is from 6 years ago and normally you usually only upgrade after 1 generation of cards which means to the 3050/ti from the 1050/ti, and they didn't even make a 2050 you double frickin Black person.

I go by the philosophy of "buy whenever the frick you need to unless you can't get a good deal". So I would've told anyone to not build a PC in the last 2 years.
Last time I upgraded, was when I got an RX580 8GB because my 7870 broke.
I also got a 1070 at the beginning of 2021, because I could get it for $170, while selling my 580 for $350. Free little upgrade and $200 in my pocket.

the joke is to buy when your graphics card falls short or in case you don't have, don't wait for the next generation, a used graphics card that is not below 50% of its MSRP when it came out or that in a case the prices will drop because the crypto shit will never go away.

Hedge fund casinos are a serious problem, yes, but otherwise I'm not going to debate why a currency backed by a military that could drone strike your home in an hour on a whim is not equivalent to some code on the Internet backed by neckbeards.

Feels good knowing that I bought my current PC using crypto, which I've invested barely nothing back in 2016, just before the massive crash.

I basically got a free gpu because Ganker shilled some shitcoins on xrp network and I dumped at the top with solo.

I don't understand people that don't invest in crypto, it's easy to make a ton of money fast during bullmarket, if you don't like it, you can sell that crypto for actual stocks and be much safer if you want. You don't have to keep your money holding crypto if you think you already made enough.

I have also lost a ton trying to swing trade during this dump, I'm done doing it for now, I need more practice on paper accounts first. But one thing for sure is that crypto will go back to where it was in maybe 1 or 2 years and it's safe to say that slowly adding up is a good investment.

        >if you don't like it, you can sell that crypto for actual stocks and be much safer if you want
I thought cryptogays were all about "skip the middleman"

That's just cope, it's all about the money always and that is fine. The truth has always been that crypto will never thrive if boomer money doesn't come in, and for that it needs proper regulation. In the end it will just become a more volatile stock market.

          seethe and cope

crypto will NEVER go back to the highs it was, it literally took a perfect storm of...
          >80% of the ENTIRE supply of USD being printed in a year
          >3-4 stimmys to everyone in the US
          >global covid scare so people are locked at home and bored
          >fake money being printed from UST and other algostables to prop up the price, many of now have crashed and don't work anymore
          >hedge funds like 3AC and Citadel taking people's money and super leveraging it to buy shit (both are insolvent and bankrupt now)
...to even make btc go to 69,000. You will never see it that high ever again.

          I hope you sold.

Yes anon I'm sure it was like that the 3 times it went back to where it was and more, I'm sure this time crypto will die for sure.
Also if you are so sure, why aren't you shorting crypto 100x down? Surely this time it will go to 0, right anon.

Given theres a recession round the corner, China just got rumbled on its 30% GDP being on its empty housing, Biden can't manage his economy and Putin is laughing as Germans are having to reopen coal plants after he cut off gas, Crypto won't be remotely as popular.
We are going to see a depression that makes the Great Depression look like someone lost $10 under the floorboards and it'll result in the WEF taking their chance to rule.
All the nationalist leaders have been axed for a reason and basically only the Changs and Russians are left with any actual power.

I think you're underestimating the israeli money magic. They can and likely will keep us waiting for this recession until the next decade begins. We're living the new roaring 20s

ETH is moving to Proof of Stake. You don't need GPU mining for this protocol. BTC is the only crypto that still uses Proof of Work but GPU mining is moronic when ASIC does a better job, and you'll never be able to create a GPU server farm to get enough BTC rewards to pay for the electricity bill anyway.
