I've played this game like five times or so over the last decade and a half, and every time I do my opinion of Santa Montica (and downtown and hollywood to a lesser degree) increases.
At this point I genuinely feel that the santa monica act is some of if not the best the rpg genre has to offer when it comes writing and quest design.
Now I feel like replaying the game yet again, even after completing the game like 10 times it still brings me back. And I love that I keep learning about new small stuff each time.
