You can say it's a bad game. It'd be ludicrous but that's your opinion.

It's not a bad remake though. It's better in every meaningful way.

I hold their opinion in less esteem than Ganker which is very impressively low already.

This shit was pretty mind blowing on gc back in the day. I think the only two games I played on that weird system was this and re0.

If Capcom would re-release the original RE1, RE2, RE3 and RE0 for consoles I would play them.

RE0 is on modern consoles. You mean CV? As for the original trilogy, Capcom for whatever reason wants to pretend they never existed. You can play them on PC for free, at least.

Code Veronica too, no Zero was remade I heard.

Nah, 0 is just a remaster for modern consoles/pc. The only new thing off the top of my head was Wesker mode that you could play when you beat the game.

Yeah so basically the same as RE1 Remake.

Resident Evil (2002) is a remake of the 1996 title. Resident Evil HD (2015) is just a remaster of the 2002 remake. Remasters =/= remakes. RE0 HD is the same game as RE0 2002 - same engine, same assets, same voices, controls, etc just bumped up to 1080p with a new mode tacked on.

                >remaking a 6 year old game
Man, this industry has been in the toilet for a long, long time.

it made more sense back then when the jumps in hardware were more significant. Makes less sense now

It's the same game with the same gameplay and prettier graphics. That's it. It's every bit as pointless as something like remaking TLOU for PS5.

CV had a remaster on PS3 too with upgraded lighting and textures.

Good luck, they're great games but don't force yourself and play other shit inbetween or you'll burn out pretty fast.

Man is it crazy how they just go so actiony after 2. I loved re2 remake and then I played 3 and 4 and they didn't feel scary at all.
