Great weapon master feat, Savage attacker feat, giant form for 1d6 to damage, Balduran greatsword for double strength to damage and 22 strength. That makes +23 to 28 extra damage for every attack. Then add 1d10 superiority die, if you use them.
Or for a method that doesn't require reloading until Zhalk fails his will check, you can just gather up all the explosive barrels in the room and nuke them both

You can buy +1 shit a little earlier than you'll find it, but the coolest weapons and most useless magic items you're gonna find out in the field
