I don't know if any Devs read this board, but I have a really good proposal to make, that will enhance all RPGs.
The "gay" toggle.
It's basically a switch that lets you enable or disable gay romances. I'm telling this because I accidentally got a gay romance playing Baldurs Gate 3 and it seriously grosses me out. Now I can't enjoy RPGs with romance options anymore. I have to look it up every time if a game feature gay relationships and I'm always on my toes when my male character interacts with his male party members. I don't want my male party members lust after my wiener. Can't we just have a nice bromance?

Turns out that trying to make everything photorealistic, animate cutscenes for every dialogue, and voice act everything slows down development.
The plan never was to have everything in Early Access. Game has been in development since late 2019, EA started late 2020 with only a few things that were new, other than classes and tweaks.

Pretty much all recent western rpg have at least one exclusively hetero romance male option. The only games that don't are those by Larian but that's only because everyone is playersexual.
