The dude will still never work on a single game of the same profile as he had prior for the rest of his life. Doesn't matter when people are proven innocent

Same thing happened to Justin Roiland despite being proved innocent.

Isn't he already wealthy? He should just pull an Alexis Kennedy and release small-scale games that are mostly about the writing, with a solid gameplay loop to carry it (i.e. Cultist Simulator).

          >Isn't he already wealthy?
Black person he wrote for video games, he's hardly rich. And his settlement means nothing, they are effectively judgment proof because they were even poorer than him. He can lien out tiny payments on them but not enough to even pay rent.

Why don't more people do libel suits for this sort of thing?

It costs money and court fees against a corporation that can take full advantage of it

Libel is actually one of those cases where it's a good idea to go through with it. Media will not risk those going into the courts because they will get fricked once actual evidence of their methods comes out. There's a good reason why Richard israeliteell and the MAGA hat kid all got settlements. If you have an actual case there their lawyers know it's better to settle.

        Anonymous

Because lawsuits aren't cheap and it doesn't matter if you'll win one day in the future when you end up bankrupt and homeless from fees 3 years into the 5 year battle.

Because it is often difficult to prove whether or not allegations are unequivocally false.
        Like if I said
        >OP sucks wieners
That's pretty difficult to prove false. Even harder to prove false are statements.

Basically a gamble regarding which state he is, if he had money to go until the end against the money the infected ones usually received, getting proof beyond "I didn't do that", getting witness who will be targeted by the whole media if they speak and so. Just read the pic in OP again, "countless women". This is a gold opportunity for money chasers to throw accusations non-stop. Hell, pro-jared got accused by some eprostitute about his weird behaviour in a convention (he never was present in that convention). What the hole did once she got caught lying? One of those apologize-without-any-apologize video and she just move on without any consequences.

At the end of the day, she just need to put some puppy eyes, put herself as the victim, asking for donations and that's it. Suing is a very risky business when you are not an ally.

Being conditioned not to fight back, is my greatest guess. Unironically we could all learn from Trump. He fought back against his cancelers, all the usual suspects hated him even more for it, and he won.

In the future we are going to have to learn to hurt b***hes that take a swipe at you expecting an easy smearing victory in a non-court of public opinion/rumor. Women grew up hurting each other through back talking each other behind backs. They are well ahead of us in the arms race now that the world more reflects their bullshit habits.

Yeah that's a funny claim. The reason they did it was because they wanted to help their friend take his job, she was in with the company and likely to be his replacement if he was fired.

Since they change the meaning of words at daily basis, it's easy to imagine unless you stick to old definitions.

You know when you keep posting this, you OP not the website or other anons but you yourself are opening yourself up for Libel. You think you can't be traced? They traced 4 guys from /misc/ for posting against that Florida Sherriff.
Think about that if you want to continue trying to defame someone.
