Libel is actually one of those cases where it's a good idea to go through with it. Media will not risk those going into the courts because they will get fricked once actual evidence of their methods comes out. There's a good reason why Richard israeliteell and the MAGA hat kid all got settlements. If you have an actual case there their lawyers know it's better to settle.
Because lawsuits aren't cheap and it doesn't matter if you'll win one day in the future when you end up bankrupt and homeless from fees 3 years into the 5 year battle.
