I think thats why I gave the BG1 Neverwinter Knights Engine remake mod a try, but I hated the shitty controls / camera that couldn't be changed.
Went straight back to the Enhanced Edition of BG1 but got stuck at a huge ambush in the Nashgul mines.
Also I love how I can actually see the expressions of my characters changing in the cutscenes e.g. Owlbear in BG3, I can actually see the terror in my characters eyes, its brilliant and I don't remember this happening in Bioware games like Dragon Age.
Yesterday my guy kicked down this huge door while the people inside were burning alive and while everyones rushing in he just stands there smiling it was funny as hell but also makes for shit rolelplaying believability.

This makes no sense. The version that the game is being tested on is the PC version. All feedback is based on the PC version. The PC version is the only one that has had Early Access and is the version that will release first. Their previous games were made for PC and ported over afterwards. With all this in mind, you came to the conclusion that the PC version is actually the port

You have to turn based control each one from what I saw, its fairly moronic, but it does make the black man from London Wyll seem somewhat more useful when he summons the Imp. There's a spell I was able to use on Shadowheart but i'm not sure if it came from the 5e Spells mod, called Spiritual Weapon, a summon like the magic swords from BG2, well that one is completely useless, I never saw it hit anything, it just moves around really slowly, I regret picking that one, also I should in theory be able to cast Animate Dead, but haven't been able to yet.
Guild Wars 1 is still only around 4GB filesize and I guarantee it has more content than BG3, the graphics are not bad either, roughly comparable to Dragon Age Origins, and definitely better and more realistic than WoW Classic, though I get the appeal of the cartoony fantasy style.

This will probably take a day for the average white european male gamer in the UK, 12 hours if lucky, our speeds are generally not that good here even in the suburbs of larger towns, despite them digging up all the streets in recent years to install new stuff and flood the streets with ugly metal boxes ( and 5G towers ). I already had fairly decent internet 10 years ago and it hasn't really improved since then. Just did a test and got 37 megabits, our service is probably listed as 100 megabit, the green cabinet they installed around 10 years ago that serves us is literally behind my garden.
Oh yeah hes a tip, if you cant or dont want to install a new SSD but your hard drive is full of movies, OBS recordings, games, youtube videos you downloaded etc, you can get a USB drive thats 250gb or more for a reasonable price nowadays, I wouldn't try to load BG3 onto it though as it would likely be too slow.
So where exactly does the replayability come from in these games? Like are there a lot of choices in how quests play out?
A shit ton of build variety that allows you to change the way you approach encounters entirely and a lot of class/stat dependent choices for quest resolutions.
Not sure yet, I don't have much motivation to replay the game just to side with the goblins, or bang the drow dominatrix Mintara, but some of the other options might be cool like opening a certain quest item rather than giving it to a party member. Usually you replay a game for its fun combat, but when I tried playing a solo sorc it was pretty dull because all I did was dip in and out of stealth and one shot bosses with electricity after casting water magic on them out of combat, literally oneshotted Nightwarden Mintara with this approach. For other fights all you do is abuse the terrain or shoot them with a crossbow, re-enter stealth, repeat, and because its all turn based it doesn't even feel as fun as if you did the exact same thing in BG2. Playing with a full party as a Fighter ( Battlemaster ) is reasonably fun though, the fights can be quite challenging, but so far it feels less strategic than BG2, it kind of feels like all actions you take are equally useful. ITs not like BG2 where if you don't have Breach or use backstabs you'll get fricked by a single mage enemy.

The voice acting will only be in English. And high quality voice sound files don't really take up all that much space. There are specialized formats used in games.
Cutscenes use the same textures as the rest of the game, they are still rendered in real time. Only prerendered videos would use their own space, but those are limited in length because they are very expensive to produce.
