In previous games like NVWN you had to invest points in spellcraft to even know what spells were being casted around you so any regular Joe wouldnt know.
Barring seeing the fiend itself show up and conspire with Wyll, it’s just magic. Even a wizard with magic initiate can cast warlock spells, or an 8 int fighter casting Create Water with a magic weapon.
oh hey its the webm that someone posted on day 1 of EA that spurred me to purchase the game >B-but you can't romance them
While true, the mere presence of shortstack gobbo girls who don't look like tiny green elf thots is an instant buy for me regardless. Mods will bring the true patricians home (home is between two thick green thighs)
BG3 goblins are fricking perfect
they actually look like goblins (not short green anime elves like most of you morons like) but a lot of them are still frickable (like pic rel, my wife Sazza)
>be me, OoD Paladin >see a goblin, a sentient creature, kept in a tiny cage >open the door because this is cruel and unjust >oath broken >powers stolen
Nice game you have there, Swen
>Save an evil creature >Punished
yeah no shit moron
killing it is the mercy if you want to be merciful, go hold hands elsewhere you little goblin simp homosexual.
>Playing Oath of Vengeance paladin >Gain the ability to detect evil constantly >World views me as a psychopath because I just show up in town and kill a lot of people without explaining shit >Paladin still a paladin
Helps that I called him Franklin Castille. Oh, but this was table top because video games are shit at RPG representation.
>Be villager >Run a general store, well-liked in the community >All despite being a menace as a young teenager, stealing apples from the market, tipping cows with friends, that sort of thing, not a nice kid, broke the law and could have done better >Since then I've matured, grown up, even started a family, things are looking good, I can make up for my past as a misguided youth >One day a man in full plate armor walks into my store, without saying a word, starts stabbing me with his longsword, screaming something about "slaying evil" >Last memories of being alive is lying on the ground bleeding, while my wife runs over crying
It is a shit analogy. But paladins can sense someone's evil intent, the evil of their soul, whether or not they've actually done evil acts. A person could harbor evil thoughts in their mind and heart, but not every really have the opportunity to do truly evil stuff. The real issue is the debate about a person's ability to change. Different gods, and different oaths, have different interpretations about stopping evil. Is it better to kill a criminal before they can do another crime, or try to rehabilitate them, potentially wasting time. What is a life worth, in the pursuit of good? Personally, I think the dnd morality stuff is a bit too stifling. You can't just define someone's whole ethos on a two axis spectrum. The fact that cosmically, there are literally universal rules defining good/evil or law/chaos is strange. Some things are pretty universally evil from a human perspective. But why would a vampire or an Illithid consider themselves evil? An Illithid naturally has to eat brains and minds, and they need other humanoids to reproduce. Yes, they're cartoonishly evil in their acts, but the basis of their existence is what people truly revile. I'm sure every deer would regard every wolf as evil, yet all wolves aren't condemned to hell or some evil god's domain in dnd.

That's not how Detect Good and Evil works, Black personbrain.
He probably killed the tieflings, as OoA you can just deceive them with a paladin option saying you'll handle it and they'll go away. Not sure how you can make it work for OoD since deception is a no-no.
I'm leaning towards a pact of the blade warlock, but I remember speak with animals being near mandatory in previous larian RPGs. Is that good enough that I should go with my back up, spore druid, instead?
Thursday at 5PM, local to Belgium. In the only timezone that matters, this is 11AM. It's also 2 hours before the Steam store usually updates (probably to try to stagger the server hits from a gorillion downloads of a ~150GB game).
Does disadvantage/advantage stack in this game and whatever is highest wins out like in Solasta, or is it like tabletop where any amount of either just fully cancels each other out?
>thief gets a second bonus action which is overall really great >arcane trickster gets a lame magical hand which realistically still might be useless and broken on release
So what about Assassin? Is it going to be lame shit as well or it's possible for it to rival the thief sub-class?
>Assassin is all about doing MASSIVE damage if you surprise an enemy
Assuming you only get to surprise buttsex only once per battle (with an additional attempt via Inkblot illithid ability), it doesn't outweigh the thief's second bonus action at all.
>critical on 7 attacks as a gloomstalker/assy/fighter >this is worth less than a bonus action
You'd need to be getting off like 15 bonus actions to reach parity here.
Black person how moronic do you have to be to think I was him. he wouldn't willingly call himself farquaad since that name derived from all his creations looking like freaks.
What's the story about? From what I remember the Bhaalspawn saga had a conclusive ending and Bhaal is dead already, so I'm not sure how this game is going to be connected to the rest of the series.
The dead three were resurrected and got their domains (mostly) back but now they're stuck as semi divine beings who aren't full gods. Presumably the main plot of the game involves them because the mindflayer shit ties directly into the cult of the absolute shit and the cult of the absolute has the dead three's symbols as their own.
>how is the BG3 protagonist going to be involved?
You have the magical special ultra rare mindflayer tadpole in you that is central to this web of bullshit and if you play as The Dark Urge you clearly look like you're a Bhaalspawn.
Yes, Bhaal was resurected. We now have a player character option that looks very much like a Bhaalspawn. He might be a Bhaalspawn, he might be the literal avatar of Bhaal, he's Bhaal related.
>last few days i've been scrolling through bg3 threads and i have to say you frickers have the most deranged schizos on this board, holy hell.
BG3 was released in an early-access state almost three years ago.
It's only a limited portion of the game, only the first part of the story and without all of the classes.
So there is a large population of people that have completely burned through all the content and have been creating headcanon for years.
Does Druid get any subclass choice that trades off wildshape into something else? I love druids as idea in all other ways but turning into animals was never my thing. I forget to do it majority of the time anyway when table topping so in pathfinder I always subclass into something that swaps it for some other ability
He's not wrong, unless Larian releases better modding tools you will never get the kind of modding you can get in Bethesda games.

No shit? Bethesda has their modding tools because the devs themselves use the Creation Kit. It isn't something they gave to players and only players. Larian didn't use a Creation Kit to build and plop shit down onto a map so BG3 will never have that amount of modability. This is no-brainer shit.

amazes me that people don't realize this about Beth's creation kit. It wasn't a tool they made specifically for modding. Beth generates their dungeons/landscapes then uses their own creation kit for fine-tuning and specific plopping of shit that's why it has that amount modding

These two posts are why. It has nothing to do with Wotc not wanting mod tools and everything to do with how Larian made the game. Larian didn't make their game like Bethesda does with a "Creation Kit" where you plop shit down on a pregenerated tile. BG3 was NEVER going to have modding like Beth games specifically because Larian fundamentally didn't use the same methods as Bethesda

Makes me wonder why did they greenlit NWN re-release given that it's the antithesis to their anti-mod israelitery.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if it was uncovered that Wizards of the Coast (WotC) specifically ordered BG3 be gimped on the modding side of things, so as to not interfere with their other D&D """games""" (services)
Eh, NWN never pulled it off and that was specifically created to be able to make your own campaigns. Even if you give people the tools most simply aren't going to take the time and effort to build entire campaigns or even small dungeons.
Actually NWN was very popular for its' time due to people creating their own modules and permanent pseudo-mmo worlds that several dozens of people could play simultaneously. It lasted until mmos took over and some still exist, even when wow came out Nwn worked as a f2p online game alternative.
But NWN was designed as a toolkit constructor game from the ground up.
Hasbro has been trying to hamstring BG3 since the start.
I still remember the fit Mearls had when he heard the devs find D&D5 to be too barebones and bland for an actual game.
You gotta be moronic to think that there's an actual overlap between people who play vidya (because it's vidya and not something else) and people who "play" their virtual tabletops.
Meaning that is exactly their reasoning, isn't it?
>Making mods
Barebones, no ez tools for morons and fancy editors, no interface to hook onto either so anything involving scripting is a b***h.
https://github.com/Norbyte/lslib >applying mods
Easy.
This game is turning out to be way more pozzed than I ever could have imagined. They even got the Black person dwarf from Rangs of Powah and some drag queen troony shit, too
Anyone who didn't see this coming is blind to the current state of RPGs as a whole, the audience for this genre is perhaps the most pozzed audience in entertainment media in the entirety of the West.
I didn't see it coming. Their previous game had 0 Black folk and homosexuals in it. Their early access changed male/female to body types halfway through the early access. I didn't know how bad D&D and Pathfinder were when I picked it up 3 years ago, was just expecting something like DOS2 but with better writing and deeper lore.
Ain't the same and you know it. I found 3 references to different gay couples that existed for no reason but virtue signaling before I even reached the Underdark in the early access
If I'm planning a bard/warlock multiclass jack of all trades skill monkey type character, is it better to get the wisdom save proficiency from starting off as a warlock or having 3 skill proficiencies you get by starting as a bard? Do you get the latter from multiclassing? If yes, does that basically mean that warlock start is objectively superior?
Assuming it's like the tabletop game, if you want the extra skill proficiencies you should start as bard. And honestly I think you should keep playing bard unless you specifically want pact of the blade, I guess, because it'll interfere with your caster levels otherwise.
I took holiday for this an on the same day my shit company lets me know I am not making enough cash for these green money coloured greasy shirts.
Screw em.
Jesus is with me.
In the last panel from hell they updated goblin heads to use character creator hairstyles instead of their premade ones like sazza's hair and the braids one. But I doubt that means anything.
How newbie friendly is this? Played about an hour of the early access, and I liked it. But I also played a lot of Wrath of the Righteous, and that game beat my ass all the time.
I've played about 12 hours. Admittedly I'm not autistic about min-maxing or anything, but I think I've done ok in it and it seems to be geared towards those not familiar with the genre
Half the fun in the Owlcuck pathfinder game is builds. This is like the Fallout 4 equivalent of that with how dumbed down it is in comparison. They tried to ameliorate that a bit with the tadpole skill screen and the 24 or 5 things you can pick from on it, but most people aren't even gonna use those anyway so it's a moot point.
>Half the fun in the Owlcuck pathfinder game is builds.
And it's all pointless waste of time anyway, because the games are piss easy. Played with basic classes and beat both games on hard no problem. I'm not a D&D autist either, just have basic knowledge of the systems.
>Half the fun
More like 90% of the fun. The combat encounters are so bland it's not even funny. The games are carried entirely by build autism and overall atmosphere (which goes down the drain rather quickly IMO, post-prologue kingmaker and act 3 in wotr).
I just dislike the whole ruler/commander schtick, takes me out of the adventure feel. Not to mention the whole system is barebones and serves solely as padding.
>no gnome, dwarf, halfling, goblin, Dragonborn, or half-orc companion >no githzerai
Why? If we just had 1 dwarf, 1 dragonborn, and 1 half-orc party member and have them be Bard, Sorcerer, or Monk that would’ve been solid
La'zael feels like a female version of Worf. Very caught up in all the glory and legends about her warrior race but unaware of the true scumbaggery they often sink to. She is from Selune's Tears (an asteroid belt above Faerun) and hasn't completed her adulthood trial of killing a mindflayer yet, so she hasn't even been to the astral plane or the main githyanki cities. She's just very naive and driven to be an amazing githyanki warrior and gets herself killed if not joining the party by her own people.
I'm interested to see the different ways her character can develop, maybe even seeing what a manipulative b***h Vlaakith is.
My playthrough of the Red Prince in DOS2 was actually a lot of fun. There were quite a few little quests involved and you could steer it whatever direction you wanted. My favorite part was marrying the Slug Queen Zenthia as him.
That was just Swen's personal preference, don't take it as some ironclad gospel. He also said not to do Dark Urge first time around but I say, frick that shit.
I can't believe you Black folk advocate for LESS content.

I hope that there are less people downloading on GOG since that is where i got the game and from what i understand Steam will probably die once release hour hits since that already happened with the early access day 1.
You can justify a lot since all of you have a tadpole in your brain, then find out they are strange ones that aren't causing you to transform, then finding out that there are other people with them that are part of a cult. As far as you know you are the only ones not under control of the cult who also has a tadpole, but you also have no idea when or I'd you will transform. It makes sense to stick together for a lot of reasons.
You make a very good point. As long as he can be kept in check and/or you are willing to risk having a vampire around, then your similar circumstances can justify it. Thanks.
So what? I don't think there's anything in your oath that says you should smite undead on sight. The issue with Astarion is that everyone should kill him the moment he threatens you in your sleep, it's not specific to paladins.
I could swear there was something about them fiercely opposing undead but I'll concede I couldn't find anything of the sort when looking it up again, aside from their natural abilities against them.

AFAIK Divinity is it's own series, and BG1-2 use different editions of DnD with different rulesets/play styles and aren't wholly related to the plot. I think the most you get from BG1-2 are some character cameos, but you don't need to play them to understand the story.
They're all supposed to be solid games, so you could give them a try if you want, but the BG games are extremely old so they might have some outdated mechanics/features.

The one thing about EB is that the white room comparisons are all against vanilla weapons. In a video game, there tends to be interesting loot, and if you get weapons with +elemental damage, etc., the math for EB damage comparisons changes. Of course, there may be items that buff EB, but that seems less likely.
QRD on Bard? Inspiration seems a lot weaker than TT without the ability to choose when to drop your extra dice so I'm not seeing much use for Lore unless you're adamant about not entering melee
Valor seems like a straight downgrade to Swords too
>without the ability to choose when to drop your extra dice so I'm not seeing much use for Lore
You can choose when to drop the extra dice on the full game
>toggleable passive feature
Why in the frick it's a thing? All these toggleabe abilities you get are something you have absolutely no reason to turn off, like attack of opportunity for example. Is this a result of some pants-on-head moronic tabletop rule converted to vidya format or something?
it might be, depending on the scenario. IIRC AoO took up a reaction, unless you had certain feats or bonuses. It might be toggleable so players don't automatically waste their reactions.
You only get one reaction per round.
So uf you say have the "protect ally from attack" reaction, you have to choose between the that and attack of opportunity
Looks like an extremely specific scenario that didn't happen even once in my 30 hour EA playthrough but okay. Maybe if there were more reactions available to the players.
There are a lot more reactions now.
Also the entire reason the system exists is so paladins can have their smites work properly.
Also you can automate it all (and that is the default) anyway so its no big deal
They just made some announcements that sent my starter class into the toilet

Now I don't know if I want to necro because of all the int checks and all the normal tasty wizard spells or if I want to monk since Open Palm gets fricking it's level 17 ability at 12 and same for 4 Elements (and go Insight/Perception)
>Necromancer wizard will indeed have an army of undead, with rare special summons available from very rare books (possibly hinting at Necromancy of Thay).
sounds based, wonder if special summons applies to oathbreaker pallys too
>with rare special summons available from very rare books (possibly hinting at Necromancy of Thay).
How would that be implemented? Constant summons like warlock/ranger, or some fricking OP stuff with a reagent cost? I don't really know much about 5e.
No idea of knowing. They've had to rebalance and homebrew a lot of stuff, to make it more viable for a video game. Possibly some rare/costly reagent like you said, or some variant of a concentration spell, or temp hp/spell slot investment. I can't imagine playing necromancer without some pretty robust summoning stuff involved though. What's the point if I can't raise my own Frankenstein?
Didn't say they changed Champion at all, which is disappointing, but they must have changed something because it's mechanically the worst Fighter subclass. I found it interesting he also emphasized how Fighters can use all armor and weapons, because so can Paladins, and some Clerics and Rangers. I wonder if maybe there's a lot of class-specific magic weapons/armor in the game, but Fighter is always listed on them. Weirdly enough, this makes the D&D Fighter more like the Final Fantasy Fighter, which was inspired by the D&D Fighter.
I'm also wondering how much they're leaning in on Beastmaster. In tabletop, there's no rules about giving your pet armor or customization or anything, but it's something DMs always inevitably allow to some degree, because it'd be unrealistic not to. I wonder what kind of stuff we'll see.
on the other hand I just dropped my sorc like a rock because I have a solid reason to go wizard (necro) and not feel like I made a bad choice vs sorc.
Illusion and Abjuration also sound like real winners
Its hard to believe illusion/AI frickery will be any good based on previous attempts.I was also planning on going Sorc but the idea of Necro sounds so much nicer now because of unique summons from tomes and shit.

I mean minor illusion has been in the game since launch and its still shit. So maybe they did a ton of work. I know they mention the Knock spell so maybe you can make a ton of noise and they investigate.
There are too many of them, you’ll get tired of cheesing. And successful roll doesn’t mean more interesting content, I personally don’t want to skip combat, I really enjoy it.
Usually the way they deal with this is to bloat the checks to such a degree that you can't make them without a high rank, and also by making all the skill checks pointless.
In kingmaker and wrath I cheated skill checks. I don’t think I will this time though since they actually show hidden failed checks. Not to mention the checks in pathfinder being appropriately sky high.
So can I download BG3 right now on Steam and play Act I, and my save will carry over to full release? They said something about releasing the full retail Act I 72 hours earlier

Yeah I didn't make it all the way through EA but from what I did see, reconciling how Shadowheart was all approve-y of my Paladin's actions with her Shar worship made no sense. Not "bad writing" but that there is something clearly more to the story, there is a *reason* why this good-hearted person is following a goddess who seeks the destruction of everything.

why coop on your first playthrough? esp with randoms. I imagine it would be very hard to match each others schedules and how serious you're taking the story or not. I tried playing dos2 with my friend and we had to quit because after the guards at fort joy killed our cat he would not let it go and would always start combat with them lol
Imagine playing an epic length CRPG in fricking multiplayer. A turn-based game, no less. Can you imagine how boring it is to control 1 character throughout the whole fricking game?
Teamwork to beat tough fights and puzzles is actually a lot of fun. You may be a sperg though and not like the idea of having to cooperate with people.
I feel like a lot of people discounting co-op for this game haven't done their research. The level of interactivity and branch splitting is insane. You can join different sides of a storyline and end up fighting each other. One of you can be arrested in the city for pickpocketing and then your buddies have to bust you out of jail, or sneak in to free you. Larian has really gone all in on the cooperative possibilities.
co-op is an amazing addition and i'm glad larian has it in their games but it always falls apart because of scheduling especially if you're doing a whole party

You won't be talkin that shit when modders step in
how come people in the world cant figure out that wyll is using fiend warlock powers
Because your average person wouldn't know about these sorts of things, and he lies.
What time does the game become playable?
Why are the goblins so fricking ugly? They could have made them sexy.
If you wouldn't bang pic related, you're a queer.
>green midget with a monster face
No, I wouldn't.
>green midget with a monster face
sexo
I hold them by the ears and yank them up and down on my wiener.
It both really happened, and I am posting shit.
If I can't mating press her, the game is shit.
oh hey its the webm that someone posted on day 1 of EA that spurred me to purchase the game
>B-but you can't romance them
While true, the mere presence of shortstack gobbo girls who don't look like tiny green elf thots is an instant buy for me regardless. Mods will bring the true patricians home (home is between two thick green thighs)
>home is between two thick green thighs
Based goblin appreciator. Just imagine the mods, too - ooof!
Source?
huffslove
Thx
Why no romancable goblin waifu?
David Gayder and his consequences have been a disaster for the shortstack race.
JUST LET ME FRICK
THE GODDAMN GOBLINS
WHY IS THIS SO HARD
WHOSE DICK DO I HAVE TO SUCK TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN
Normalgays get out, this is a xenofricker website.
i 1000% would, especially if her breasts and ass are gonna get fatter after i knock her up.
They are goblins.
Exactly what did you expect?
And yes some of them are absolutely attractive for goblins.
BG3 goblins are fricking perfect
they actually look like goblins (not short green anime elves like most of you morons like) but a lot of them are still frickable (like pic rel, my wife Sazza)
I made Minthara feed your wife to the spiders.
Exactly.
Orcs and goblins shouldn't look like just green elves or humans.
They are still attractive for their race.
im gonna be honest
I would wife her
Divinity 2 goblins were so much better.
>be me, OoD Paladin
>see a goblin, a sentient creature, kept in a tiny cage
>open the door because this is cruel and unjust
>oath broken

Nice game you have there, Swen
>Save an evil creature
>Punished
yeah no shit moron
killing it is the mercy if you want to be merciful, go hold hands elsewhere you little goblin simp homosexual.
>play paladin
>help evil creature
>wtf why am I being punished
i wish that were me (the girl)
>Playing Oath of Vengeance paladin
>Gain the ability to detect evil constantly
>World views me as a psychopath because I just show up in town and kill a lot of people without explaining shit
>Paladin still a paladin
Helps that I called him Franklin Castille. Oh, but this was table top because video games are shit at RPG representation.
>Be villager
>Run a general store, well-liked in the community
>All despite being a menace as a young teenager, stealing apples from the market, tipping cows with friends, that sort of thing, not a nice kid, broke the law and could have done better
>Since then I've matured, grown up, even started a family, things are looking good, I can make up for my past as a misguided youth
>One day a man in full plate armor walks into my store, without saying a word, starts stabbing me with his longsword, screaming something about "slaying evil"
>Last memories of being alive is lying on the ground bleeding, while my wife runs over crying
Someone isn't evil because they were a shit kid lol, what a horrible analogy
That's not how Detect Good and Evil works, Black personbrain.
>be me, OoA paladin
>given choice of “kill story frog in cage or not”
>free her
>OATH BROKEN
You're shitposting right?
He probably killed the tieflings, as OoA you can just deceive them with a paladin option saying you'll handle it and they'll go away. Not sure how you can make it work for OoD since deception is a no-no.
Paladins are always trash and moronic, it needs to be forgotten as a concept entirely.
I'm leaning towards a pact of the blade warlock, but I remember speak with animals being near mandatory in previous larian RPGs. Is that good enough that I should go with my back up, spore druid, instead?
There's a warlock invocation that allows you to speak to animals for free
No shit, I must have missed that one. Thanks anon.
Gib big tiddy gobo gf
is that ralph pootawn?
WEG trash is by far the most unappealing shit to ever exist.
You say that like that's not a good thing on Ganker.
When does the game's full release actually happen?
Friday.
Thursday.
Neither stack and if you have both they cancel each other out
>thief gets a second bonus action which is overall really great
>arcane trickster gets a lame magical hand which realistically still might be useless and broken on release
So what about Assassin? Is it going to be lame shit as well or it's possible for it to rival the thief sub-class?
Thief is the most exploitable therefore the best in a Larian game.
Assassin is all about doing MASSIVE damage if you surprise an enemy.
Arcane trickster is good but it shines later on.
>Assassin is all about doing MASSIVE damage if you surprise an enemy
Assuming you only get to surprise buttsex only once per battle (with an additional attempt via Inkblot illithid ability), it doesn't outweigh the thief's second bonus action at all.
>critical on 7 attacks as a gloomstalker/assy/fighter
>this is worth less than a bonus action
You'd need to be getting off like 15 bonus actions to reach parity here.
>need to multiclass and do some dips just to make it work
No thanks.
Pure thief is also garbage you fricking spastic.
>muh bonus action
Nice, at level 11 a pure fighter is getting 9 GWM attacks in their opening round.
Arcane trickster could be a 1/2 caster and it would still suck.

Displacer beast in
can you have sex with them
>bipedal feral
>also has tentacles
holy frick, the NSFW mods this thing is gonna have.
given how janky stealth is would expertise in it be waste on a rogue?
Whats janky about it?
line of sight from enemies (conal/large areas of red) triggers an automatic stealth check that you can fail.
wtf don't steal his food that's fricked up
Have they removed the bestiality?
they're adding more and more beasts for you to copulate with
I'm hoping they double down. I don't get why Halsin gets to have animal form sex, but Druid Tav doesn't get to knot Shadowheart.
Why should they?
Hope they added more.
>"urgh player only make boring humans, go wild!"

larian's bg3 IS NOT BG!!!!! (PERIOD)
High effort posts that no one replies to like this are so funny
so bg3 finally mindbroke you?
farquaads been mindbroken day one
Hello Farquaad
Black person how moronic do you have to be to think I was him. he wouldn't willingly call himself farquaad since that name derived from all his creations looking like freaks.
Ok Farquaad.
This is a common tactic for (the likes of) him whenever they develop a reputation on a given board.
>can romance women

w-what did Belgium mean by this?
What's the story about? From what I remember the Bhaalspawn saga had a conclusive ending and Bhaal is dead already, so I'm not sure how this game is going to be connected to the rest of the series.
Bhaal got resurrected like 10 years ago
>somehow, palpatine returned
so weak
Oh what? Actual Bhaal? Who's the official god of murder then since CHARNAME ascended and how is the BG3 protagonist going to be involved?
The dead three were resurrected and got their domains (mostly) back but now they're stuck as semi divine beings who aren't full gods. Presumably the main plot of the game involves them because the mindflayer shit ties directly into the cult of the absolute shit and the cult of the absolute has the dead three's symbols as their own.
>how is the BG3 protagonist going to be involved?
You have the magical special ultra rare mindflayer tadpole in you that is central to this web of bullshit and if you play as The Dark Urge you clearly look like you're a Bhaalspawn.
There are no more Bhaalspawn, the last two died prior to all of this resulting in Bhaal's resurrection.
Yes, Bhaal was resurected. We now have a player character option that looks very much like a Bhaalspawn. He might be a Bhaalspawn, he might be the literal avatar of Bhaal, he's Bhaal related.
>Who's the official god of murder then since CHARNAME ascended
That is not the canon ending you homosexual. No amount of cope will change that.
Why the frick would a Belgian use an American phone prefix?
Kek. Low quality bait.
last few days i've been scrolling through bg3 threads and i have to say you frickers have the most deranged schizos on this board, holy hell.
>last few days i've been scrolling through bg3 threads and i have to say you frickers have the most deranged schizos on this board, holy hell.
BG3 was released in an early-access state almost three years ago.
It's only a limited portion of the game, only the first part of the story and without all of the classes.
So there is a large population of people that have completely burned through all the content and have been creating headcanon for years.
Any red haired female paladins with strong convictions online? I'd like to speak with one immediately.
Whats the cutoff for the tadpoles?
>goblin degeneracy
ill thank you not to. now back to your lil cuckshed homosexual
Calm down, Arnold.
Where the frick are the kobolds too
How do weapons work in BG3? Are you locked into one weapon type? That was always my gripe with WOTR.
ngl wanna make red dragonborn solely because cape
same, but it almost made me go sorcadin with red dragon heritage
Friendly reminder that people who preordered the regular are getting the deluxe edition for free
Can you play a Halfling?
Yes.
How am I supposed to be immersed in this game if I can't frick all the greenskins
Use ReShade preset to make everyone green then, you freakshitter.
Does Druid get any subclass choice that trades off wildshape into something else? I love druids as idea in all other ways but turning into animals was never my thing. I forget to do it majority of the time anyway when table topping so in pathfinder I always subclass into something that swaps it for some other ability
You can fart out fungus and raise dead as Spore Druid.
Very nice, I will go SPORES then. Cant wait for Friday to come (Thursday has work sadly)
Spore
What's the qrd on best abilities/classes?
sex with tiefling girls
How come this Tiefling isn't gay with a purple afro and moustache?
Any word on class leaks so I can see Stormsorc/Vengeance Paladin/later levels of GOOlock?
How easy is this game to mod?
they don't have a modding API
That doesn't tend to stop people.
How come there's over 300 mods for the early access then?
They're little junky mods.
I'm talking about being able to make an arena mode, map creation tool, DM mode.
>little junky
>full-on classes
Yeah, I'm thinkin it's pointin' and laffin' at da retad time.
Oh frick. Swen told brotherman during his interview that releasing the devkit is not up to him. Blame israelites of the Coast, not Larian's engine.
I wish Wizards of the Poz went bankrupt and Larian made DOS3 instead. This is a total shitshow under those homosexuals
Divinity has a horrible setting though.
Least it wasn't Black person and troony infested and it had good non D&D gameplay
I'd take a garbage setting over homie elves
If WOTC goes under, Larian might get the opportunity to use one of the better D&D settings (or editions). They were wienerblocked out of making a 4e game by Mearls in the past.
Microsoft is in talks with Hasbro to potentially buy Wotc outright. A Microsoft leaker has mentioned that there're people in the pipeline who want Bethesda and Obsidian to cooperatively work on an Elder Scrolls-tier game set in both Eberron and Faerun
>Bethesda AND Obsidian
Shitshow of the century incoming.
Unfortunately true.
All the creative talent that made Obsidian and Elder Scrolls great in the past no longer has much of a say.
We'll get a FO4+OW combo or worse.
It's not up to him because they contracted out the devkit they used. It's not a Larian in-house kit, never has been
Glad that we agree that David of the Coast is anti-mod.
> 3D
> online
> desktop computer
> videogame
> one purchase and done
Yep, WotC hates it.
"Mod" as in install mods or make mods?
Modding in general. Making mods, applying mods, the works.
>Making mods
Barebones, no ez tools for morons and fancy editors, no interface to hook onto either so anything involving scripting is a b***h.
https://github.com/Norbyte/lslib
>applying mods
Easy.
I'm curious if modders will be able to add sliders, it looks like you can already make new playable races.
>I'm curious if modders will be able to add sliders
Nah, they'd have to remodel every single armor for every single race, not doable.
Zero chance
It's up
literally me
Step aside
This game is turning out to be way more pozzed than I ever could have imagined. They even got the Black person dwarf from Rangs of Powah and some drag queen troony shit, too
And why should I care?
Who gives a shit what a troony leftist thinks? I don't even see you as human
Are you gonna answer the question? Why should I care who they hire to do voice acting?
Anyone who didn't see this coming is blind to the current state of RPGs as a whole, the audience for this genre is perhaps the most pozzed audience in entertainment media in the entirety of the West.
I didn't see it coming. Their previous game had 0 Black folk and homosexuals in it. Their early access changed male/female to body types halfway through the early access. I didn't know how bad D&D and Pathfinder were when I picked it up 3 years ago, was just expecting something like DOS2 but with better writing and deeper lore.
Some of it is probably Larian but most of it is probably Wizards of the Coast who own the D&D IP. They're as bad as homosexuals get.
>0 Black folk and homosexuals in it. Their early access
Every companion was player sexual in dos2 just like bg3 tho
They were always homosexuals
Ain't the same and you know it. I found 3 references to different gay couples that existed for no reason but virtue signaling before I even reached the Underdark in the early access
where?
>put drag queen in game
>make it so you can kill everyone
>it kills itself before I enter the room.
Kill tieflings.
can i romance her if im also a tiefling?
If you're fine with an uncle tom playthrough, sure
Ureter inspection
Doesn't Drow armor break apart under sunlight? Explain this bullshit.
If you come from AD&D, the likely answer to such questions is "Shit's changed, gramps. 3 editions worth, to be exact."
Is there anything WotC didn't ruin over last 20 years?
There's some drow armor you can find in the underdark that mentions something about that in its description
I also enjoy 2e, but this is a 5e game.
you can find drow armor on the surface and yeah its fricked.
I'm glad you asked, because that had been bothering me for a while too.
Urethra inspection.
>Have to attend a company event so I miss out on launch day and will be stuck in a hotel for 2 days

Trying to wrap my head around dnd here.
Assuming it's like the tabletop game, if you want the extra skill proficiencies you should start as bard. And honestly I think you should keep playing bard unless you specifically want pact of the blade, I guess, because it'll interfere with your caster levels otherwise.
Will there be interactions with your patron as a warlock? Pic related my archfey patron.
There has to be, isn't that a core mechanic for warlocks?
Based. Vid related patron visits me in my dreams during a long rest.
Yes (mentioned during one of the PfHs)
I want a goblin bro. I guess I'm gonna have to go Dark Urge and hope for the best.
I took holiday for this an on the same day my shit company lets me know I am not making enough cash for these green money coloured greasy shirts.
Screw em.
Jesus is with me.
Warlock level 2 or 3 before going Sorc? Repelling blast or devil's sight? Maybe I should just stay pure warlock but it sounds like a fun multiclass.
I liked pure warlock on tabletop.
I want to get my back blown out and prostate destroyed by daddy dragonborn.
Yeah, too bad he beheads trannies on sight
There seems to be quite a commotion at the gates.
BG3 is uses the 5E system, it's 50 times more noob friendly than Pathfinder
Act 4 in Kingmaker was pure kino. Shame it had such an underwhelming conclusion after all that build up.
I just dislike the whole ruler/commander schtick, takes me out of the adventure feel. Not to mention the whole system is barebones and serves solely as padding.
You can never multiclass and beat the game easy. It doesn't have build autism like wrath does nor does it have the shitty rtwp.
Kneel before the Big Black Sword.
I serve the flaming fist!
Shut up and give me your armor already.
What are Sven's thoughts on 7ft tall half-orc ladies?
He prefers full orc women
Aren't d&d full orcs pretty much impossible to reason with, to the point where they're treated as normal monsters instead of NPCs?
No, this is 5e.
>Aren't d&d full orcs pretty much impossible to reason with
You're confusing D&D Orcs with Diablo 4 players.
thats racist
Larian would be hard pressed to feature harmful charicatures of POC after the last DnD orc controversy.
Maybe in older editions but not in 5e as having universally evil races is raycis
No. They are just usually evil due to being born in an evil society rule over by an evil god.
This was the case in older editions as well. Monsters were playable before cleric even existed as a class.
> That quest in which you find a hot gay male human x male orc couple in the orc camp
UNNGHHH PURE GAY SEXO KINOOOOO
what does goblussy smell like?
rancid

>no gnome, dwarf, halfling, goblin, Dragonborn, or half-orc companion
>no githzerai
Why? If we just had 1 dwarf, 1 dragonborn, and 1 half-orc party member and have them be Bard, Sorcerer, or Monk that would’ve been solid
Because he need 3 humans and 2 elves and 2 half elves.
In a good game.

Probably, their writer is garbage.
>Cuckshit got removed
Why? I liked the cuckshit, personally.
>Can't romance my buddy's sexy character
Frick
You can romance him in real life.
she cute what race/class did he pick
She only did that if you rejected her and she wants to make you angry and jealous. Basic female stuff.
Makes me want to complete a playthrough with her.
And make her cry. Force her to realize her entire race is shit, she is shit and no one will ever love her.
I'm sorry lae'zel, we finna be a squid.

origin or custom fellas?
Only homosexuals play as origin character.
Custom. I figure playing custom will help me appreciate an origin characters background like an actual person would a stranger.
Custom. Only NPCs want to play as someone else's character in a DnD game. Dark Urge's aright though
My playthrough of the Red Prince in DOS2 was actually a lot of fun. There were quite a few little quests involved and you could steer it whatever direction you wanted. My favorite part was marrying the Slug Queen Zenthia as him.
Custom for sure, but of course the origin characters will have super special snowflake powers a mere custom character can't have.
They're all eclipsed by the divine power of the Bhaalspawn Dark Urge.
Custom gets just as much exclusive content as an origin. Swen recommends custom for a first playthrough.
The lead dev did an interview where he basically said origins are more meant for second playthrough. Custom seems like the way to go
That was just Swen's personal preference, don't take it as some ironclad gospel. He also said not to do Dark Urge first time around but I say, frick that shit.
They said the same thing about DOS 2 and customs were boring as frick comparatively
then don't fricking play one, holy shit
I won't xD
Nah he's right. Origin characters should have never been a thing. Either make them as customizable as Dark Urge or don't bother
I can't believe you Black folk advocate for LESS content.
No. Take the time spent adding origins and instead focus that on adding more to custom characters
Indeed, imagine gimping customizable toons for a garbage mechanic that most people won't even use. Larian can shill the origin system as hard as they can, I'm still not playing that slop.
Leave animals alone you weirdo.
>Leave animals alone you weirdo.

>need to clear another 70 gigs for the full install

Sounds like a CoD player problem.
No, Hitman
also porn
That's what you get for cramming three games into one. I don't think I'll ever actually play nu-Hitman given all the IOI's moronation.
Yeah but the game's fun so I'm loathe to delete it
Worse comes to worst I'll move one of them to my external drive
I think I'll buy some storage later this year since prices keep trending down
I hope that there are less people downloading on GOG since that is where i got the game and from what i understand Steam will probably die once release hour hits since that already happened with the early access day 1.
My SSD is in the red, too. Guess I should get on that
Can you justify keeping Astarion around as an Oath of the Ancients paladin? Are vampires considered undead?
You can justify a lot since all of you have a tadpole in your brain, then find out they are strange ones that aren't causing you to transform, then finding out that there are other people with them that are part of a cult. As far as you know you are the only ones not under control of the cult who also has a tadpole, but you also have no idea when or I'd you will transform. It makes sense to stick together for a lot of reasons.
You make a very good point. As long as he can be kept in check and/or you are willing to risk having a vampire around, then your similar circumstances can justify it. Thanks.
I could swear there was something about them fiercely opposing undead but I'll concede I couldn't find anything of the sort when looking it up again, aside from their natural abilities against them.
So what? I don't think there's anything in your oath that says you should smite undead on sight. The issue with Astarion is that everyone should kill him the moment he threatens you in your sleep, it's not specific to paladins.
>I don't think there's anything in your oath that says you should smite undead on sight
Smiting undead on sight is just common sense, bro.
Aww, he's smiling! 🙂
I’ve never played Baldurs Gate 1 or 2 or Divinity Original Sin, should I play any of those before BG3?
You don't really need to, but if you like the setting of BG3 then go back and play the first two because they're great games.

Of course, there may be items that buff EB, but that seems less likely.
both are for homosexuals
does this game have ANYTHING to do with baldur's gate 1 or 2?
Baldur's Gate city.
Minsc and Jaheira are in the game.
>Dead Three/Bhaal is at play
>past characters returning
>Slayer form is revealed so someone is a Bhaalspawn
QRD on Bard? Inspiration seems a lot weaker than TT without the ability to choose when to drop your extra dice so I'm not seeing much use for Lore unless you're adamant about not entering melee
Valor seems like a straight downgrade to Swords too
>without the ability to choose when to drop your extra dice so I'm not seeing much use for Lore
You can choose when to drop the extra dice on the full game
>the NEXT roll you make
Explain to me exactly why you think this isn't a hard downgrade from TT? Unless this description is just worded wrong?
Its worded badly. You can pick when it works just like in the tabletop
did you purposefully ignore the picture in
where it says you can toggle the ability check trigger and the other two are reactions or are you just moronic?
It says NEXT attack or saving throw, it's easy to get why someone wouldn't interpret it as "actually the saving throw you just made"
>toggleable passive feature
Why in the frick it's a thing? All these toggleabe abilities you get are something you have absolutely no reason to turn off, like attack of opportunity for example. Is this a result of some pants-on-head moronic tabletop rule converted to vidya format or something?
>waaah game has <feature that doesn't affect me> therefore it's BAD
classic
it might be, depending on the scenario. IIRC AoO took up a reaction, unless you had certain feats or bonuses. It might be toggleable so players don't automatically waste their reactions.
because these abilities cost a resource that you may not want to use at that moment
Also you can automate it all (and that is the default) anyway so its no big deal
best barb build be it multi or single GO
Any word on what breaks Oath of Vengeance?
Is this game purely turn based? Also can you cast infinite spells?
Yes, no.
Will I be able to download this game on midnight, or do I have to wait until later in the day on thursday to download it?
Will I be able to download the GoG version somewhere?
Google it. You'd have to be moronic to not find torrents in 2023.
Reminder to play some co-op with your fellow Gankerermin at some point and make new friends!
I don't want to game with anyone on this website.

Anyway, how about that lazael huh
Goodbye, Ganker!
They just made some announcements that sent my starter class into the toilet
-4 ele monk had it's ki economy completely redone, should have staying power equal to a caster
-will have unarmed gloves/magical items for monk specifically
-necro can summon unique minions it finds from rare books
WHAT THE FRICK DO I DO NOW NOW EVEN WIZARD MEAT IS BACK ON THE MENU, BOYS AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Holy shit
>XP will still be granted for avoiding fights or resolving things peacfully so you don't end up underleveled just because you didn't want to kill everyone you meet.
Now you solve everything peacefully and then kill them.
Except you can't, they NPCs disappear while you're still in the cutscene.
>kill all but one NPC beforehand
>talk to last one and resolve things peacefully
>get 190% XP
>...
>profit!
>>talk to last one and resolve things peacefully
And how are you gonna do that in combat, smarty pants? If you run away to flee combat, don't they still remain hostile?
>And how are you gonna do that
Stealthily and sneakily sniping from afar without triggering combat mode itself.
>Stealthily and sneakily sniping from afar without triggering combat mode itself.
he doesn't know hahah
And how do you identify the important NPC that actually triggers the talking? You aren't gonna save scum like a little shithead, are you?
Nice
That sounds fricking sick, now it might change my starter class.
Now I don't know if I want to necro because of all the int checks and all the normal tasty wizard spells or if I want to monk since Open Palm gets fricking it's level 17 ability at 12 and same for 4 Elements (and go Insight/Perception)
I am in shambles now
>Necromancer wizard will indeed have an army of undead, with rare special summons available from very rare books (possibly hinting at Necromancy of Thay).
sounds based, wonder if special summons applies to oathbreaker pallys too
>with rare special summons available from very rare books (possibly hinting at Necromancy of Thay).
It's kinda funny to look at Champion and Battle Master side by side.
on the other hand I just dropped my sorc like a rock because I have a solid reason to go wizard (necro) and not feel like I made a bad choice vs sorc.
Illusion and Abjuration also sound like real winners
Its hard to believe illusion/AI frickery will be any good based on previous attempts.I was also planning on going Sorc but the idea of Necro sounds so much nicer now because of unique summons from tomes and shit.
the way the Larian guy described it is it was excellent out of combat, like if you were a wizard and wanted all the guards to leave somewhere so you could get in
or distract someone, etc
I mean minor illusion has been in the game since launch and its still shit. So maybe they did a ton of work. I know they mention the Knock spell so maybe you can make a ton of noise and they investigate.

Did you even check?
I don't need to, I have better sources than that and will be instantly alerted once it actually releases.
How should i class if i want to be like rexxar from wow (two onehanded axes + bear pet)? Do i just go beast master ranger or do i need to multiclass?
Beast Master Ranger is enough, your animals' stats scale with Ranger levels.

>NOOOOOOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T JUST GENOCIDE THE ORCS! THEY'RE MISUNDERSTOOD!
No more Orcs means no more danger for the local village.
What's the point of my skills if I can just reload every time I fail a skill check?
You're supposed to exercise some self-control and not be a gay, anon.
So after you lose a fight will you uninstall the game or restart from the beginning?
What a fricking moronic attempt at a gotcha.
Literally get good you fricking loser.
exercise some self restraint anon
absolutely based
Heh. I don't lose fights.
They made it that every time you reload the game it rapes your SSD with rewrites. One long savescumming session and you will have to buy a new one.
>I'm a zoomer cancerous homosexual and I should never be allowed to fail in a roleplaying game
I play ttrpgs with my irl friends every week you friendless Gankerirgin
Sure you do. How many rerolls do you get per session? 3 or 4 should be alright? Nobody likes to fail a check.
none since we play a ttrpg and not a computer game? are you moronic?
I hope DM smacks you every time you ask to reroll your dice.
do you ask the GM to reload the fight when you die?
Thats kinda gay to play like that.
The chance with the dice roll is what adds to the experience.
bestiality game.
Wrong, player can’t frick your mother in this game.
>He fell for the bearfricker damage control
So can I download BG3 right now on Steam and play Act I, and my save will carry over to full release? They said something about releasing the full retail Act I 72 hours earlier
No you can't, the early 72hr only applies to playstation now. Downloading it now won't help at all either, will need a full re-download on thursday.
Thanks saved me a bunch of aggravation
No
What race do I make my war domain bane cleric?
Goblin goblin I NEED A GOVLIN I NEED A CUTE GOBLIN GIRL TO ADVENTURE WITH RIGHT NOW. LAIREN PUT IN THR GOBLIN GIRL OR I AM GOING TO YOUR OFFICE RIGHT NOW TO EXICUTE ALL OF YOU AND PUR IN THE GOBLINS MYSLEF. GOBLIN GOBLIN GOBLIN

i bet the mods are gonna be insane though

okay, /misc/Black folk
Yiff in hell, homosexual.
Tabaxi are a cat race in D&D.
Kinda surprised they didn't make it into this game.
Do we know if it's gonna be an update on the 3rd of if we might as well just uninstall the EA and reinstall from scratch?
dev said you'll have to redownload
Delete saves, delete game
Its going to be a fresh install, no preload because of some Steam policy
uninstall and delete your saves before launch
Larian said to manually delete your saves, then uninstall EA.
BEAR SEX
I'll probably get it and try a half-orc monk.
tiefling girls are the best
>a cleric of Shar
>happy when you do cool and positive things
>secretly hates brutality and being evil to the point of getting drunk and nearly denouncing her goddess over a bit of slaughter
???
shes a poser
like a emo girl who thinks shes goth
It's just a phase
Is it true? Can I actually fix her?
If Morrigan was an actual b***h, then Shadowheart is literally an emo girl going through a fake edgy phase
She's a Selune cleric who has been brainwashed and memory wiped to do a mission for Shar.
>redeem her
>lose trickery domain in favor for a mediocre blaster
oh well
perfect wife for my oath of vengeance (human) paladin
Yeah I didn't make it all the way through EA but from what I did see, reconciling how Shadowheart was all approve-y of my Paladin's actions with her Shar worship made no sense. Not "bad writing" but that there is something clearly more to the story, there is a *reason* why this good-hearted person is following a goddess who seeks the destruction of everything.
Can't wait for the full roleplay class+armor mods of characters
I'm looking forward to how Minthara and La'zael interact in the party. How much femdom alpha b***h energy can one party contain?
I WANNA PLAY AN AASIMAR REEEEEEEEEE WHY DID THEY GIVE US FRICKING EDGY SATANIC TIEFLING AND NOT AASIMAR?
not even a glowing yellow eyes for me to roleplay FRICK LARIAN.
We didn't get any fun races, really.
Half-Orcs are quite literally all I need, love me some green boys
Mods will fix it. There were already playable minotaurs, goblins, ogres, mindflayers, etc just for the early access.
Mods can add races but with how much reactivity there is for every race playing a modded race with NO REACTIVITY is going to blow
If you just want glowing eyes and gaylo then that's easily moddable. You better start learning the basics now.
>Human
>Human with glitter
Yeah, what a cool and unique "race."
Where can I find non-morons to play this game with on coop?
>Go to larian discord
>Deal with an autistic incel who hates women
>Deal with another autistic incel who doesn't have basic manners. Say bye or I'm going to go instead of just disconnecting.
>People who payed $59 USD for the game and much more for a gaming PC, but can't afford a non-shitty microphone
>People from Europe who have thiccc accents
>People who can't afford a headset so you can hear all of their background noise.
I mean, are there any cool fun loving people who want to play this game who don't have a series of mentally illnesses, are too poor to afford a mic/headset?
as if women hating incels wouldn't be banned from Larian's discord
He's not banned lmao. Guy was a real peice of work, he threw a tantrum because we couldn't finish off the cambion hero, the mind flayer and the extra two cambions in the prologue.
Have sex incel
>Not playing story-mode
NGMI
I'm glad we have a real feminist hero to put all the incels in their place. Good on you anon.
> Guys i love women tee hee how dare someone hat ewomen in discord yuck! but btw i have no frens to play with does any pretty woman want to playh with me? i'm a male feminist, not a predator at all!!!!
I have mild schizophrenia, is that okay?
Checks out
the game is like 200 hours its impossible to actually play co-op unless you and your friend are NEETS
You can easily save the group session and resume whenever you want, actually.
Factually incorrect
This is why I won't be using mods that add races. Going from reactivity from my race to none is going to be boring
>Going from reactivity from my race to none is going to be boring
You actually think your race is going to matter that much in the game?
If you play Human? I wouldn't expect much if at all. Drow is going to have insane reactivity. I'm assuming this is either a troll post or you're fricking new to BG3 threads. In which case, hello newfren
hewwo 🙂 It's just that most rpgs don't have that much reactivity when it comes to race so I don't expect it in this one either.
They've said Drow/Dragonborn and Tiefling to a lesser extent will have the most. As well as Deep Gnome and Duergar.
Depends on if it will be a few token phrases like most games or have any actual bearing on the story. If it's the former then yawn.
You will be straight up junted from a ton of locations in Act 3 if you're a Drow. Like literally unable to enter certain areas. There's a magic shop that literally has an enchantment that prevents Drow. Your party members make a comment and ask "What should I buy for you?"
So I can just literally walk in with one of my companions and it has no bearing except for flavor?
If you haven't followed how much reactivity you'll get as Drow, just stop trolling or google it.
I just watched a video on it and for example the druids just go "grrrr a drow me no likey >:(" and still let you do everything the same as if you were playing a human?
>it's 2035
>we are still in act 3
>Bob begins to emit a high pitched noise every time I suggest that Brent and I go on without him for a bit as his schedule of 1 hour every two weeks is killing us
>Baldur's Gate 5 just came out last month

exactly
i'm a woman anon :3
you can play with me hihi
I don't care what gender you are. Incels fall under mentally ill people and I don't want to play with morons SORRY.
No
ugh yeah, i hate those icky incels too
they're so mean to me ):
i just wish I had someone to play vidya with
someone who is nice to girls like me :>
Have sex
hihi im kinda into erp too ngl anon :3
why coop on your first playthrough? esp with randoms. I imagine it would be very hard to match each others schedules and how serious you're taking the story or not. I tried playing dos2 with my friend and we had to quit because after the guards at fort joy killed our cat he would not let it go and would always start combat with them lol
You should be thankful I even bothered to dust off my old microphone just for you, homosexual.
KNUCKLES CRACKED
BEAR FRICKED
YEAH ITS BALDUR TIME
>cousins are all buying this
>my friends are all buying it
>mfw they expect me to coop it with all of them
Kill me now.
Was the same when I played DOS2. It won't work out anon.
It wasn't fun in DOS2 and it isn't going to be fun in BG3.
Solo sorcerer is a lot of fun. Assuming you get all the xp and it isn't shared with your party.
it's exp shared, can't allow you to accidentally have fun by doing UNBALANCED things by getting too much exp soloing
There will be mods for that guaranteed.
One of them will drop it eventually. You'd have to be moronic to coop a 120 hours long RPG

This just sounds like the Cyberpunk overhype again. I'll believe it when I see it.
Add a female half-orc romance, you bald frick.
co-op is an amazing addition and i'm glad larian has it in their games but it always falls apart because of scheduling especially if you're doing a whole party
It isn't Cyberpunk overhype because Larian never promised that. You can't join different sides of a storyline
>One of you can be arrested in the city for pickpocketing and then your buddies have to bust you out of jail,
Anon.. you get to experience the exact same thing if you play singleplayer.
You can just... play as the companions? You stupid frick? Or make your own custom companions.
Stop being such a creepy shill.
