That "indie" team has a larger budget, time and staff than Bethesda that had to go through an acquisition phase. I don't like rooting for Bethesda but you're making it out like Larian is a little studio.
you can google starfield and bg3's respective budgets and see that money wasn't the problem for Bethesda.
