>Base Swsh has a battle facility
>bdsp has the best battle facility
>even fricking Pla has a battle facility equivalent
>sv+dlc has none
why is gen 9 so fricking dogshit and devoid of content compared to gen 8? No wonder sv didn’t sell nearly as much as swsh did.
you know what i changed my mind BDSP/PLA are better than swsh and sv
>bdsp has the best battle facility
on the switch maybe. gen 3 and 4 have the best facilities
>Not including 5
5 had the tree hollow/tower, the PWT, and the Institute. All of which provided unique and fun experiences. especially compared to 3's frontier, where like half the facilities weren't even noticeably different from the battle tower.
>tree hollow/tower, the PWT, and the Institute
all piss easy goyslop
>Worse Pyramid with no set level
>nostalgia bait and monotype teams and no streaks
garbage.
institute is the only ok thing here, the hollow/tower are incredibly easy and very doable with an ingame team while PWT doesnt actually ever get particularly hard
All shit.
>where like half the facilities weren't even noticeably different from the battle tower.
The 'facilities' in Unova were an exception to this? LMAO
>Battle Tower but in a Dome
>Battle Tower but in a Snake
The other Facilities have Unova equivalents
>Arena has the Institute
>Pyramid has the Treehollow/Tower
SV has many bad features like if someone sabotaged the games on porpouse
>Region based on spain that has barely spanish features unlike Galar that was full britong
>95% of the cast is simply not appealing
>Many people outside GF created pokemon this gen so there's zero consistency like the Scooby Doo dog with a candle and megaman zero
>No battle tower in the base game when the school tournament would work as one
>wait a fricking year to get gym rematches when the team star homosexuals can be rematched per day
>Herbas fricked raids forever so it's better to just look for a raid that drops two Herbas than looking for a one you like
>Worse event raids than fricking SWSH
>Keep shilling characters that only a small circle likes
>And now it's basically confirmed that BPs are earned in a shitty ass minigame with upcoming framedrops like the ogre busting game
>current year
>anons still pretending that battle facilities are popular
My brethren in Christ battles in GENERAL are not that popular. I don't know how many more times you need to be taught this lesson.
idk man i think if they're gonna have a push for competitive, having a place to actually test your teams is important
you can just do that online, borty
And risk inconsistency? I want to use Pawmot. I know what it beats.
I think theyre too moronic to notice but by there not being a post-game battle facility. Its an admission of Gamefreak not playing their game.
Just make it bulky holding a Leppa and have it revive 2 of your pokemon. Bonus points for also having a Rabsca with similar set. Those extra pokemon count toward Kingambit and Houndstone's buffs resulting in the rape train.
Notice how it’s a 50% heal dumbass.
The only battle facility where trainers use remotely competitive teams is the boss trainers in BDSP master battles and even then they’re questionable, battle facilities won’t teach you anything besides bad habits and give you unrealistic beliefs about what your team outspeeds
(shill)
>the absolute state of the people who force themselves to pretend enjoying tera raids
you don’t even deserve a (you). Subhuman
Meant for
Yeah I agree, who the frick wants more content in the games?
>b-b-but Older games had it.
So what? I'll gladly take an open world over things "to do"
>>Base Swsh has a battle facility
if you stretch it to its loosest possible definition, sure
>>bdsp has the best battle facility
lol
On the switch, yes. I know you get your opinions from YT but you can try being less one-note.
The major problem with Gamefreaks "No one used the battle facilities" excuse is not understanding that the majority of people didn't do it because 1: It cheated either outright like in Gen3, or de facto cheated in Gen4&5 through having statistically impossible full 31IV perfect EV spread teams that a human could only make with literally weeks or months of tedious soul-crushingly unfun breeding. And 2: Usually had no cool rewards or achievements for doing it. Only Gen5 ever let you use part of it's frontier early and for actual useful rewards (the subway giving you some unique TM's).
This. Streaks get boring and IVs are one of the worst stat systems ever created (and rewards blind luck and nothing else).
If it were more like the Cups in Stadium or the PWT, it'd be more bearable.
They could've just, make the mode better and more rewarding. I can't ever agree with cutting entire features from the game.
Well yeah that's what I was saying. I loved the Battle Frontier/Gen5 facilities, They're just bullshit because of the stat thing. Just make EV's/IV's set to a standard in the same way levels are all set to 50. And make the facilities accessible early on during the campaign with rewards that are worthwhile. Like how the B2W2 Subway was partially available by the 3rd badge with super-handy TM's like Rock Throw and U-Turn.
I guess we're never getting Battle facilities again. Time to add that to the long list of cut features from mainline pokemon games. These games aren't worth the $60 price tag, worse since the DLC adds nothing meaningful other than costing an extra $35.
Very true. That U-turn tm in B2W2 is too tantilizing to turn down, so I usually do randbats PWT when I do a nuzlocke (it's not my pokemon being killed). I think the Unova battle facilities also feel much more natural, as they're part of the main region and don't stick out like a sore thumb.
They are definitely piss easy if you have any moderate experience, but as someone that had no idea about ivs/evs/eggmoves/hidden abilities, they were a step up from the main campain. They give the player an actual engaging way to level up to higher levels which isn't really present in other games. Not anything to be too proud about beating, but casual+ mode is something that doesn't exist in other games. I can say the same for the PWT, as while the teams are pretty stacked, they're mainly mono-type and you only need to beat 3 at a time, allowing an inexperienced player to still make plans ahead. The difference in difficulty between the main campain and battle facilities for most games is too jarring.
>why is gen 9 so fricking dogshit and devoid of content compared to gen 8?
Why bother putting endgame content in the game when the majority of consumers will buy it anyway? They simply don't care anymore.
How do you respond without sounding mad?
Game Freak accepted a long time ago that they can do the bare minimum and just let the brand name recognition and advertisements do the heavy lifting.
