Wow, thanks to her I found out EA released these games on Steam. That's awesome, I've wanted to play Renegade for years. She did EA's marketing for them!
How many threads do we need about her?
>her
Anon ...
1)She's a woman and 2) there is no nudes of her.
Why is Ganker full of liars?
How many people here actually spend time on X? Is it most?
I saw the screencap on resetera actually
Almost everybody on Ganker frequents Twitter, Reddit, GameFAQs, NeoGAF and Resetera.
Hating other sites is a meme.
Why should I go to those other sites, when I get the curated version of their content delivered right to my board?
>twitter
no
>reddit
only when it shows up in google results (which is more often than i'd like, but whatever. info is info)
>gamefaqs
only for guides for old games. i never read the forums
>neogaf
no
>resetera
hell no
for me its
twitter for politics/the heartbeat of society at large
resetera for console gamer and liberal opinions and insider scoops
reddit for countercultural opinions (subreddits for normie culture are unbearable there)
gamefaqs for more niche titles that get no discussion on Ganker
neogaf never
famiboards to see what the nintendies are thinking/insider scoops related to nintendo
assorted forums for my other special interests not worth mentioning
>gamefaqs for more niche titles that get no discussion on Ganker
WHat do they talk about there that we don't?
Video games
its less applicable today than it was a while ago but when i completed smtv last year i was blown away with the quality of the game and wanted to discuss it on /smtg/. but i found that thread was more about storyposting and acting mostly as detractors of the game. on gamefaqs i could see people's opinions on the gameplay at large, ie things i care more about. this is a rare occasion though.
in some cases Ganker is the only place you'll see discussion of a given game. on era or gamefaqs smaller indie titles don't receive even a blip of attention. i would not have known what the frick secrets of grindea was without Ganker and i wouldn't have played an excellent game without that attention. so Ganker is worth keeping around if only because it is entertaining and it serves as a signal boost for genuinely excellent games on occasion.
>in some cases Ganker is the only place you'll see discussion of a given game. on era or gamefaqs smaller indie titles don't receive even a blip of attention
This used to be the whole fricking reason I used Ganker.
You'd find so many mentions of interesting and unique games you'd just never see mentioned anywhere else. These days with all the gamergate leftovers and astroturfing (which the mods are paid to ignore) there's zero space left for that. I don't even know why I'm still here, but where the frick else is there even to go for obscure games?
hey the void stranger threads last year were great
but yeah, with the new "buy an ad" meta and gg2 happening right now discussing vidya is more grim than ever
That's one of the unfortunate consequences of splitting a board up. The more subboards you create for specific subjects, the less range the original board has, and to make it worse, the original board attracts fewer attention thus decreasing the range even further.
right. i've wondered what would happen if /vg/ /vm/ /vrpg/ were destroyed and everything was folded back. it would be an improvement probably but... it would also be chaos. generals would form to make sense of the chaos and we'd be back to pre 2010 problems again.
/vg/ has a point in that otherwise generals would clog Ganker up, but /vrpg/ and /vst/ are cannibalizing Ganker for no particular reason.
>About Depression
what
>About Depression
>what
The game was made by a woman. You already know the main story or at least a side character is going to be about depression.
/vmg/ /vrpg/ and /vst/ have no reason to exist tbh. If they allowed generals on /vmg/ then it would unironically clean up both Ganker and /vg/ since all of the gachashit that clogs up both boards would have its own location.
As it is, it's three dead boards that serve no purpose other than to be Abib's pacifier.
>twitter
>heartbeat of society at large
You’re a fricking moron.
Speak for yourself gay
Go back homosexual. I don't use any of them
>Twitter, Reddit, GameFAQs, NeoGAF and Resetera.
morons say Ganker has gone to shit because of /misc/ and election tourists. It's actually because of smucks like you that can't stay in one place. Next you'll be saying we all hang out on kiwi farms and wikipedia.
>we all hang out on kiwi farms
gay and moronic
>and wikipedia
based, I kneel
much like
says, Ganker USED to be an excellent 'one place' to stay at. over time though it has become less and less interesting, more and more dominated by off-topic uninteresting elements that are usually political. i only started browsing elsewhere because you guys stopped being video games exclusively.
but enough about you
I use twitter literally only for porn. Sometimes pixiv is just not enough. Otherwise just 4chin and youtube.
The only social media I frequent is Instagram and all I do is scroll through shitposting reels. Stop projecting, homosexual.
>newbie tries to revise history that everyone always used reddit and twitter
You're literally the guy in the XKCD beer comic.
I only post on Ganker, twitter and kiwifarms
if you unironically use resetera you should have a nice day
You need to go back.
speak for yourself homosexual, Ganker is the only “social” site i use aside from a discord server for the one mmo i play and a discord server for my d&d group, and I only use Ganker now because hot wheels’ site got suicided by the feds
I just use it for porn, Ganker is usually my source of X drama
The only sites I use are Ganker and YouTube. I'm extremely autistic though
same. and same
wtf is X
X is the new Ganker. You can actually make a threads on topics that are insta prunned here
>all of the C&C games are on steam now
Frick yes. Kind of pissed I bought RA3 for full price a month ago but I accept this fate.
Oh shit, Dungeon Keeper is finally on Steam!
>not available in Russia
SIXTY Black folk
Go kill Putin. He's the reason why.
>hello fellow gamers
Have fun being cucked by daddy Putin.
give me the means to, and I'll do it, glowie-kun
or just fricking send one of your Manchurian candidates or drop a railgun from orbit already. why the frick drag this out.
Zelensky you mean, the butthole who wanted ethnic cleansing in the Donbass region, dipshit
>russian speaker who ran on the campaign of appeasing russia and got voted mostly by eastern regions wanted ethnic cleansing in donbass
kek vatniks are so moronic
Stop being a shit hole and maybe you'll get vidya privileges back.
Unironically give EA your money
You left out the follow-up where she won, this boosted her sales.
good job Gankertards, you made the useless feminist prostitute happy.
Ganker is shitting on her dough
Yeah, while secretly buying her game and freely advertising her.
I always do the opposite of what Ganker says.
More useful than your Black person ass, at least she's made something. Let's see your game homosexual.
Imagine being such an attention whoring homosexual, that you try to detract from a dozen all time classics coming to Steam for cheap with improvements to play on modern OS and no DRM to make it about your shitty pozzed little flash game
Women get rewarded and validated by men for doing that all the time, so why wouldn't they do it?
>a decade of work poured into the game
>"wah, imagine caring about it"
Dude, get a reality check, please.
>a decade of smearing shit
Get real troon. Your effort is irrelevant to whether we care about the end product
looking it up, it's just a Atelier clone.
there is a difference between new&trending and new.
Old games usually have the correct release date not the steam release date.
>it's just a Atelier clone
picked up
You did check out the store page right anon?
don't care, sorry
>No games can release on the weekend
Wtf is this true? Why
Valve has only like 6 employees. Please understand
Just bought Command & Conquer Renegade.
What am I in for?
Not a very good game but a unique idea. It does actually kind of feel like being a unit in an RTS game.
you know how you can sort of ignore gdi and nod being rip offs of gi joe and cobra
well you absolutely cannot ignore it in renegade
I bought Dungeon Keeper 2. Maybe she can find a job at EA marketing.
I had a look on steam to see if I could find her game but I got distracted by this
Why is this game priced at 168 bongs (216 freedom bucks)? More money laundering?
It's just a normal shovelware scam.
Usually there's literally like one or two people who will randomly buy it and you get your money back on the listing cost.
It comes with real rats delivered to your house the same day for the full paris experience!
Don't forget the bed bugs!
>Why is this game priced at 168 bongs (216 freedom bucks)?
So you can feel like you got mugged to complete the immersion.
it's a steam key scam
I hate to say it but
Based EA
Dumb shit foid, why would your gash matter when making a game?
Yeah I wonder why her game got pushed out
Not the most flattering screenshot.
The character art looks decent, but the world looks like washed out assets bought from a store that don't mesh well.
doesn't have a lot of personality.
but, if it's hopefully free from lib progressive political nonsense, i'm ok with her game succeeding a bit.
I played it and its full of blacks, lesbians and homosexuals.
ITS POZZED
Post actually good indie games.
Khimera destory all monster girls is free and miles better than this girl's trash
Roguelight is neat. Also free
>white protagonist
Now I'll play your slop!
>shooting looks simple
>platforming looks simple
>enemy AI looks simple
I do not get the appeal of this game. Cavestory was great but I've never been drawn to this.

Every single FRICKING time. Ganker has complete shit taste and the only viable option is to follow the opposite of what Ganker claims to be good.
True, except you ARE Ganker and everything you just said could be applied to super mario brothers on NES.
>everything you just said could be applied to super mario brothers on NES
You mean a game that's almost 40 years old and didn't have the benefit of 4 decades of game releases to learn from and innovate off of? See, that's the problem with all these shitty indie shovelwares: they only know how to copy an existing formula, not use them as inspirations for something actually new and original. The only thing that game does that Mario didn't is the fricking "floppy hat" overdone animations.
Strike Suit Zero. It's a 3D space shooter with a ship that turns into a mech.
hellsinker.
rabi-ribi
obra dinn
void stranger
a really fun platformer made by a guy before he turned into a girl
Bought it, left a negative review, and refunded it
Yes you c**t you were specifically targeted and it was definitely because you're a woman. Eat shit.
Would there be a solution to this or is it a no-issue? A specific tab for indie games?
Even if you exclude non indie games there would still be dozens of games being released daily. It's an intensely competitive market and there's no guarantee that even good games will rise above everything else unless they're truly exceptional.
Who cares about the new games list? I don't know a single person that uses it to buy games.
yes troony, I'm sure EA specifically did that to target your shitty game on the list that absolutely nobody uses
>Works on game for ten years, apparently during her free time
>Only earns a few hundred, maybe a few thousand, dollars for her hard work
>Has a nervous breakdown and blames it on EA
Sad, but such is the fate of indie shovelware.
I do hope that this goes viral, so she can sell at least a few more copies.
She most likely sold over 10k copies.
She already made more money than your average game dev in a year.
Anyone posted some r34 about the game characters to the creator yet?
Anyone told she/her that she/her really passes for an actual woman?
Doesn't it just mean that her ghame isn't really all that much?
>Ganker doing all of her marketing for her for free
you ok, lads?
She added this image as a followup.
discoverability does seem like an increasingly difficult problem for gaming in general and i ponder how valve is going to handle this going forward. they're definitely the industry leader on good discoverability but sometimes it feels like there's something to be desired even still.
try clicking new releases
I dont get it
the EA games aren't even here and that game is near the top
works on my machine
russian? some anon above was saying they weren't released in russia
no i live in the US
>potions: a curious tale

>gets upset that something unlucky happens
>unfortunate event happens
>event causes person measurable financial damage
>person uses social media to mention this event, as it has effected them
>Ganker freaks out about "whiny" devs b***hing and DEMANDING attention
Every time. What, should they have just gone "oh well maybe I'll get them next time, only years of work down the drain due to happenstance"
I wouldn't call it unfortunate considering she has gotten at least a dozen more pitysales and free marketing on Ganker, xitter, reddit out of it
This is an indie game not getting exposure due to an unfortunate release window, not Edison stealing all of Tesla's ideas.
Getting your knickers in a twist about all this is petty, especially because I am sure this was a passion project on a shoestring budget and even if she doesn't make a penny, the impact on her financial wellbeing will be minimal. There are hundreds of thousands of creators out there whose work will never get any recognition despite being put out there and they do not bawl their eyes out over it.
>measure financial damage
It would have sold even if steam was having an ultra slow day and it stayed there for 20 hours
>What, should they have just gone "oh well maybe I'll get them next time, only years of work down the drain due to happenstance"
Yeah it's shit luck but was the plan from the beginning to rely on good luck or was there never one to begin with? You need to do marketing legwork these days even as an indie.
If she really spent a lot on marketing people would be going directly to the store page to buy it, not trying to organically find it on the new and trending page on Steam.
Marketing is relative. Discovery on Steam is a massive driving factor for essentially every indie game that isn't a giant runaway hit. The marketing for any one man project (without a publisher's backing) is only ever going to realistically get it onto the new and trending page. A couple of days of impressions onto every person who scrolls down a bit on the front page of Steam is pretty massive for games of this scale.
do you feel that it's a problem that steam's discoverability system is somewhat fickle? it's easily learned yes and there's many youtube videos that teach devs how to successfully game it and raise chance of success, but it does seem like a flaw that someone could do everything according to plan and fail.
that's just business yes, but is there an alternative that would be more 'fair'?
I mean new and trending not being flooded with 10 multi-decade old games that you literally cannot individually buy would be a good step.
Generally though I don't care that much, it is what it is. I just wanted to point out that post was mostly wrong and snowballing off steam discovery is generally very important to small projects.
That's not just a problem with Steam though. Back in the 90s you would have maybe two or three games coming out in a week. Now you've got literally dozens coming out each day because development is much more accessible. Most of those games are shovelware or asset flips, but that deluge can bury legitimately good titles.
agreed and i'm questioning if there is a best solution to that problem for developers and consumers. some way to separate the wheat from the chaff algorithmically. that obviously has its own problems - what if wheat is categorized as chaff by the system or vice versa - and i think valve's current hands off approach makes sense until we can really guarantee wheat chaff separation.
>separate the wheat from the chaff algorithmically
Valve used to have this. It was called GreenLight. A game would only be approved by steam and put on the platform if enough people were interested.
Now its pay 100 bucks and anything gets put on the platform
https://steamcommunity.com/games/593110/announcements/detail/1265922321514182595?snr=2_groupannouncements_detail_
in valve's own words they see it as time to retire greenlight once they are able to predict what games people actually want. and we know how the algorithm works today - wishlists, eyes on the store page, etc. valve autoseparates wheat from chaff based on views and interactions with the product. which works excellently for the games that follow the kind of rubric i laid out here
or for games that are already out and trending, but the question is what can valve do (if anything) for the smaller titles that are de facto good games but without buzz. it might be impossible to help those people. i'm not even trying to claim that the game this thread is about is one of those good games - it looks like it's right on the cusp to me, i cannot tell one way or another - but this thread is an interesting launch point to have this discussion i think.
Too much text.
Short version.
We at steam are happy to take $100 each from any dev to put any shit on the store front.
Here enjoy all the furry gay visual novels
Yeah I really doubt it being on the new/trending page has as much impact as getting people to actually talk about in gaming spaces.
>woman cries
>her game gets popular instantly
I HATE WOMEN SO MUCH IT'S UNREAL.
>pick a great launch date
what's so great about it?
Third point
pay.attention.
It's Akira Toriyama day now
I love celebrating womens day, my game celebrated it with me realising some cute art of girls from my game. I love celebrating women and their bodies
>what's so great about it?
WAMMINS DAY
EVERYONE CELEBRATES WAMMINS DAY
CELEBRATE WAMMIN MONTH WITH ALEXA
She isn't even crying, Wtf is this horrendous acting?
Why men keep falling for this bullshit?
If EA are gonna dump 11 games the same day, its not a good release date.
If you can't get sales without being the last thing released you haven't built hype.
>anon doesn't understand that the EA releases were a shadowdrop
>Happy International Women's Day
Holy fricking shit, you absolute fricking moron. You're dumbass getting bumped off the New and Trending is really a fricking women's issue. My got I hate this person.
Put contact lenses on her and she'd be real cute.
Would procreate with/10
I can't believe this is genuine. The absolute cope. Her being an idiot and not checking the database for upcoming release titles is a fricking womans issue......of all things......then she blames EA for her shitty choice on release date when she had all the information easily accessible to her.
She didn't pay anyone for marketing did she? Then ends with happy womans day....
Dear god
>Her being an idiot and not checking the database for upcoming release titles is a fricking womans issue
they were shadowdropped you moron. you wrote that big spergy incel frogtard post and you don't even know the basics of what you're crying about.
moron doesnt know about google or how to check up on steams database showing upcoming games being released.
If she actually gave a frick she would have paid for a professional marketing company to advertise her game.
If she cared even more she woukd have double dipped and had the game advertised on steams front page store banner.
The guys who made carrion did this and got mega bank because of it and Carrion is a shit game you can complete in just a few hours.
Shes literally got no excuse
she said she checked and EA shadowdropped those games.
either way, indie devs don't run out of fuel to cry about things
>release same week as Palworld
>or Helldivers 2
>or Enshrouded
>or GBF
>or DD2
if it is such an obvious trick that no games are release on weekend than every big studio might make use of it.
At least now she has a reason to say her game failed because of X
>Dauntless poster
cringe. Maybe she should have published her game on EGS
She could not have asked for a better marketing strat. EA gave her a viral moment. She's gonna get so much sympathy buys. So much positive reviews from people who will pretend to play it.
Lucky.
You will always be a woman
Are the C&C ports any good? I have most already on physical First Decade collection, but that one has its own problems.
Getting pushed off the new releases page squashed ALL of your marketing? Why did you even bother to market at all if your campaign was so fragile?
Who gives a frick. She already confirmed that her whining made sales increase. She's somewhat attractive with a nice body and will probably make an onlyfans, and make tens of thousands from that anyways. Simps are a disease
Thank God C&C Generals is on a storefront somewhere, let alone something relevant.
>he doesn't know
It's still not on the store. You only get it with EA play or the C&C complete pack.
"the enemy of my enemy is my friend"
-every moron from /misc/
So does this mean we have better chance for a TibSun and RA2 remaster?
so would it have been okay if 11 indie games pushed her off that section instead?
>10 years to make her generic indie slop
>complaints centered around money
do you think she knows that your game has to be beyond exceptional to be financially viable with that absurd dev time?
>so would it have been okay if 11 indie games pushed her off that section instead?
See
The "New And Releasing" page only shows stuff that's already got a following— either by having a bunch of wishlists or there being preexisting successful games from the same dev. Not much else that met that criteria had a public release date, so she assumed she'd only be competing with a handful of other indie games instead of 12 simultaneous EA releases.
>hashtag
Yup, it's C&C time
>doesn't mention what game it is
Absolute failure of a tweet
Yuri's revenge is on steam? Yes please
All I know is I'm gonna play through RA2 again
Check out game.
Its liberal dog shit.
Its woke.
Pushing black characters.
Left leaning.
Spent 10 YEARS on this
Frick I miss the old GreenLight feature. Shit like this should NEVER get published. Steam needs to bring back GreenLight
How SJW is Steam anyway?
>the merits of my game won't translate to sales only being on the front page of steam will
the merits of your game can't translate into sales if no one knows about it and no one plays it.
So advertise it instead of wining about EA releasing 10+ year old games
>the merits of your game can't translate into sales if no one knows about it and no one plays it.
word of mouth is a thing
Timing is everything. You can't just pick a random date and release shit. Obsidian should have learned this with deadfire.
Imagine getting mad because the price of all 11 games combined, beat out your one shit game that probably isn't worth it's price.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/378690/Potions_A_Curious_Tale/
Wow! It's Indie RPG Adventure Crafting Game About Depression #897234! I'm buying 10 copies right now!
Looks ok. Bought it to spite the chuds
How should people market their games? Upload tiktok snippets of your game? Create a trailer on steam? Showcase on indie game dev events on steam? Create a discussion on reddit and Ganker etc. Am I missing anything?
all of these and more
indie devs are mostly fricked when it comes to marketing
things that seem to have the best outcome:
pay for a feature in a nintendo ms or sony direct or the tgas or summer games fest. make sure that your trailer looks good.
if you cant afford the first thing, playing the long game is best. bring attention to your game when it is ~5 or more years away from release. cultivate a community around your game using kickstarter or patreon by having a strong initial trailer that sells people on the idea. over time your community will do your marketing for you - they'll post on Ganker or resetera or twitter or reddit or youtube or wherever else. examples: pizza tower or secrets of grindea.
thirdly, have previous successes and develop a cult following. make good games = you are known to specific people as a good dev = they pay attention to your upcoming work and do the marketing for you. like number two but without the discord community being needed.
>thirdly, have previous successes and develop a cult following. make good games = you are known to specific people as a good dev = they pay attention to your upcoming work and do the marketing for you. like number two but without the discord community being needed.
This is good advice. You need to make a lot of games and build up your audience before you can have some form of following. People who follow you will help spread your game so don't be an butthole. Not being an butthole seems to be something a lot of Indie devs struggle with.
and herein lies the problem with game development as a career path for most people - how many games do you think the average person has to make before they make a good game? it's more than 2. it might even be more than 5.
and these are small games that only take at most a couple years to produce but you need to hold a job to live during this time usually.
if you want to be a mangaka you can draw from when you're young and start making one shots. you can submit that shit to wsj people during their up and comer contests and see if you get through.
if you want to be a filmmaker you can grab a camera and film some tiny shit in your backyard to start, then go to film school and do student stuff to get familiarized with amateur-bordering-professional production.
if you want to be an author, simply write something. and do that a lot. while you're young and under the bosom of mummy's income.
a majority of existing media categories are reasonable to have started exploring while you're a child. video games are approaching that level of accessibility but i think they're a long ways off still. you could make a game as a kid, yes, but with programmer art and music. or you could want to be a game artist and use those visual script languages and do the pixel art yourself. you're not REALLY learning how to code. or you're not REALLY learning the art side if you're just doing the code. it takes decades to be able to do this shit.
i'm going to use derek yu as an example. derek is 42 years old. he has freeware 'i'm learning games' stuff until 2007 when he's 25 years old, it does ok. ever since he was 25 he simply iterated on spelunky twice and now he's 42. in film, paul thomas anderson makes boogie nights at age 27 and the rest of his filmography is original. he's not stuck on one thing.
all this to say that video games are more time intensive than other mediums thus limiting the sensibility of it as a career for individuals.
cant exist if no one plays it
>cant exist if no one plays it
what?
your game cannot have word of mouth if no one has played it to speak its praises. hence why discoverability is important. your game needs to be findable and it needs to be good. if it's not good, why would i talk about it even having played it? i'm much more likely to say it's bad and try to spare people's time.
>your game cannot have word of mouth if no one has played it to speak its praises
you never buy shit that wasn't advertised?
REALLY?
on the rare occasion that a steam page is the first time i'm ever learning about the game, the usual route is as follows:
>watch the trailer, did it look good
>go on youtube to find more stuff if it did
>skip to downloading demo if it is available
>supposing the above is not available look up developer and try previous games
>if the game is already released i go pirate it first and play through it until i've made a decision on its quality. i either buy it or not based on that decision.
in the event that word of mouth is so overwhelmingly positive (like with pizza tower or void stranger), the most i might do is watch the trailer to see if it looks like it reaches the quality described by word of mouth and if it does, i'll buy it then. even easier if it's in a genre i like.
any game that i am unsure about i pirate first if there isn't a demo.
Soft shill hill on Ganker. I.e. post your game here (hiding whether its your game or you 'discovered it' is optional) and a bunch of anons will buy it and if its actually good in some way organic threads will occur and set off a chain reaction. Posting here alone filters 90% of garbage redditgay games as they think this site is the darkweb and not a bunch of morons shitposting. This is how stuff like Pizza tower, Coffin of andy and Leyley (this was due to some anons liking their previous work i.e. niche cult following) and plethora of other games.
Shilling on Ganker in appropriate threads (like a shilling an RPG in an RPG thread) works. At least it works on me. Picked up a lot of nice games from people talking about them here.
She didn't do her research. Most games research who they're releasing against.
These EA games are old and were put on Steam without warning.
You can see stuff going to be released in the steam data logs. Not just by going into upcoming releases
I love the sarcastic "HappyInternationalWomensDay !" at the end. She wants Steam to give her a boost in discoverability simply for being a woman.
Even though I don't care about this particular game I still favor indie devs over today's AAA woke trash giants.
since this is partly an indieshit advice thread, what are the chances anyone would give a frick about a knockoff of PS2 armored core with assorted stupid crap from across the series
i want to know if more gays than myself want to kick a bootleg nineball seraph to death with SL/FF custom AI backup
>people excited to buy Dungeon Keeper
Fricking why? It came out in 1996, the devs aren't seeing a dime and the best way to play it is KeeperFX anyway, especially since they untied game logic from the framerate.
>morons flat out admitting they use social media sites
Frick yourselves you normalhomosexual scum
command & conquer and dungeon keeper are great franchises, i should replay some of the games
Oh shit Renegade?
Let's fricking go boys.
If EA spamming the new section is the death knell for your game then it was garbage to begin with and would have never done well. Good indies perform well regardless. All her sales would have just been autism collectors and I'm sure they didn't miss it anyways.
Yes, I'm sure EA saw this obscure indie game being "developed" for 11 years and decided it needs to be pushed aside. It was just too good.
This Black person just shat on C&C Renegade? DEATH.
>IF I PUT MY GAME ON STEAM EVERYONE WILL BUY IT BECAUSE STEAM IS SO BIG AND LOVED I'M GONNA BE A MILLIONA-ACK
>be male
>create good indie game
>flops
>be female
>create potion flash game slop
>she apparently succeeded a 70k kickstarter for it
>she then proceeds to take 10 years to complete it due to "full time jobs" despite the kickstarter and the fact that other indies with days jobs have done way better in less time
>game flops because it's slop that looks like a flash game
>cry really hard on twitter about how EA KILLED MUH GAME
