there was a period of time when all the wowgays jumped ship where any criticism of ffxiv no matter how mild would have people call you barry. anons seem to have calmed down from then though. i assume this is because the wowgays went back to their game and calling endwalker shit is no longer a controversial opinion.

It's true though, FFXI was modeled after Everquest because it was the standard for MMOs at the time
and FFXIV was based around the WoW model of MMOs. So are most other MMOs released after 2008
