What do you guys like doing in Battlefield? Any game and any role.
Personally, I like to roll around in an LAV-AD in BF4 and swat at enemy aircraft that come within a kilometer. I don't sit in spawn btw, I usually pick a random tank player to follow and support them whenever there isn't a jet or helicopter around.
>20mm
>Zoom optics
>APS
>Air radar
think I remember seeing you post this in another thread lol
I love to sit in a bush outside the enemy uncap and stinger any aircraft that come out
I think I bumped into a guy like you once, dropped an ammo box because I was support and went on my merry way
based
i also do that on rush a lot esepcially recently
ill go like 10/24 but still be second place because all I did is throw med packs and rev other dudes
Used to farm you guys, probably the easiest thing on the map.
"No you di-"
Yes I did, personally. I know you drove a lot of "pilots" (infantry only scrubs/tankers taking a break) crazy by doing this kind of shit.
I would beeline for you and kill you in seconds, oftrn without needing a smoke trail first.
Then I would immediately fly directly to the place youre most likely to spawn and I was very good at knowing where that was, at which point you will predictably throw whatever caution you had to the wind and try to lock on me somewhere in the open because you just spawned, ran outside, and saw the dude that just slapped you 20 seconds ago conveniently fly near your respawn.
On and on its been a while but IIRC youll either continue being farmed trying the same shit, or youll really make a mistake and start pulling aircraft to try and beat me at my own game which went even more poorly than you may imagine.
I met 2 other players who were comparable to me in about 5 years of binging 3 and 4 every day.
you get off to that man?
Yeah but i could destroy you irl so I’m okay with it. GG
Guys... I'm feeling a little intimidated here... This guy's serious news...
>oftrn without needing a smoke trail first.
very funny to phrase this like an accomplishment when the HUD tells you exactly where lock-ons are coming from
I liked being a medic on the frontlines trying to avoid dying while doing medevac. Though since the game respawns people pretty fast half the time they respawned before I could get to them and I get my head blown off for nothing.
Doing God's work
I was a top tier bf player with every class and vehicle and proved it against the best players we could find in 3 and 4.
Anything with the LAV or equivalents, you can murder anything except jets.
Same but with tanks, though the LAV has a higher skill ceiling and ends up better.
The absolute GOAT is the Little Birds though... I became godlike in those. The things you can do are incredible. However small a space you think you can fit in when youre flying...halve that, or more. You become this sky assassin that can swoop down anywhere and pick a guy off in maybe 5 seconds tops. Chase them in tunnels, into containers etc.
Basically getting the first little bird spawn of the match and proceeding to go somewhere between 48-52 kills with zero deaths just fully dominate teams for hours a day for months or years.
Good times I will never experience in any form again, god damn I was good at these games dude.
little birds are so fun
playing a map like sunken dragon and zipping around the buildings shooting dudes sniping is so fun
I still wish they made the windscreen not bullet proof in BF4
>I still wish they made the windscreen not bullet proof in BF4
Is it bullet proof? I remember shooting through it with snipers and the heavy pistols but don't remember if other guns could pierce it. IMO the bigger problem was that unlike in BF2 or other Battlefield-likes, the whole helo body in BF3 and 4 is immune to any small arms at all so without any enemy engies or vehicles around, a pilot is free to just farm forever (and a few engies are useless compared to infinite flares, mobility hit recovery, etc)- there's no fear of death-by-a-million-cuts or even being forced to frick off and repair because a Support or two pointed their LMG skyward.
I think you can pen it with the 50 cal in BF4
in bf3 you can pen it with any gun
i play hardcore
I got banned from all the hardcore locker servers for terrorizing the other team with the EOD bot
I got banned from so many hardcore metro and locker servers for knowing the maps and using my ears.
Why are Germans like this?
Check out these rocket launcher kills bro. They're mostly on Metro 🙂
Battlefield 4 is basically a hero shooter
explain
I came to this realization after playing operation metro for six hours. Someone started one the enemy team to spam the rpg against us in the locker room. Since you can see the movement of the enemy after he kills you I got to witness his movement with the rgp witch reminded me of the soldier in tf2. After a few minutes, one of the teams started to run around with shotguns while jumping like the scouts in tf2. The same guy spamming the rpg from before also started to spam the eod bot at the end of the match. He basically used it like a close quarters mobile version of the sentry gun by "parking" it very close to common corners. I was basically playing TF2.
When I play on Parcel storm, I always sit on the islands closest to spawn and spam UCAVs.
too many spelling mistakes
I was working on getting the dog tag for every gun in the game and had finished most of them but eventually it got harder to find servers and I uninstalled to make room.
>it's another 'airchav proclaims his superiority after crying to DICE LA for every single counter to be nerfed, including already pathetic ones like the AA mine'
Uninstall bf4
Install bf3
then ask questions
i could never fly but i fricking loved gunning for a random attack heli pilot and getting cheeky TV missile kills on enemy helis
My objectively best moments in the series were in BF1, for some reason I was god-tier with the armored truck scoot and shoot gameplay, popping up from behind dunes and hills and BTFOing the hell out of tanks. And by this I don’t mean camping 500 metres away but actively driving around and popping up just to do the same again from a different place 20 seconds later. Unless the enemy had good pilots, I was basically unstoppable in any map that enough room to manouver around.
But usually I’ve just focused on anti-tank (or later on, AA) infantry since 1942. Seeing enemy vehicles go around unmolested annoys me, so I try my best to stop them from having free reign.
once I got the fire extinguisher I was a menace of the skies
Never did figure out how to strafe targets with the rocket pods without smashing into the ground though
If I'm not actively moving to cap points I like doing semi passive stuff. Setting up as recon and spotting like mad, the latest game is great for this. Being a gunner with a competent tank driver. Repairing and resupplying. Comfy stuff.
