>be loser whole life
>graduate and get job at 30
is it over
few people graduated later than me but jesus i feel old
if you were born any time between the 1980s and 2000 it was already over for you
I graduated at 28 with my master's degree, half my class was people in early 20's and the other were actual boomers. You aren't some dude in your mid 40's starting a first semester course, you've got your degree and can make moves and shit. Anyone who clowns on you for that is fucking autistic.
ty 4 hopium
You're not old, most people start getting their shit together in their thirties because time is ticking. You have plenty of time to find a wife and have kids. Keep going bro, we're all rooting for you.
There was a recent breakthrough in epigentic rebuilding where Harvard scientist successfully accelerated aging in a mouse. You'll probably be seeing medicine within 15 years that can reverse aging. You'll make it bro, just stay alive
Get fucked gramps. I'm 22, graduating next year, and already have a highly competitive job lined up. I literally have 7 whole years on you in achieving making it status.
Yeah I heard McDonald's applications are rather competitive these days
>graduate
>haven't found a career job in 8 months
>this years graduates are going to start applying soon
I'm beyond fucked
what job
i found a career 2 years after graduating lmao
my fucking brain feels fried
30 is the new 20 in 2020's
oh vey I can't wait to wagesalve
>game comes out
>everyone is already talking about the ending a day later
>mfw i've barely made in any progress
slow and steady
>trying to catch up with Gankerners
Its like you never read those dark souls reviews to NEVER READ IMAGEBOARDS before playing new souls game. Otherwise people here will spoil you all the content. Unless of course you cant get the game, then of course audience that doesnt play enjoys being spoiled, watching Ganker like a Ganker.
>most intelligent kid in class
>feel like a retard at my job
Other skills improve. Surely you didn't just waste your youth jacking off and playing video games?
Stop being lazy and practice
>implying
>be above average
>think i'm garbage at games
>play online games
>remember i'm not garbage as i play with literal mouth breathing retards that don't look towards where they were damaged from
being above average is huge, the portion of players you meet drastically shrinks the higher you go up
>haha i'm gold nova master, that's probably terrible
>8.08% of players
i can't imagine what below silver play is like, you have people being retarded different ways all through the ranks
Whenever you see stats like that in multiplayer games you have to consider whether they include everybody who's ever played ranked or whether players are excluded from the stats when they haven't played for a certain amount of time.
Games like CSGO and LoL have so many users that a good portion of players either barely play the game or haven't played in months/years
Maybe, I think CSGO resets their ranks and stuff, because I remember only 6% of players being in Gold Nova Master last time i checked
pretty sure you were just overestimating your abilities when you were younger and started practicing/playing less as you got older. It's not "im old lmao" its "im lazy i just drink and watch tv and dont play games anymore lol"
Well it's true I have been playing less videogames, but every game I played when I was younger I was in the top 10% of. I was global in CS and Master in Star Craft 2. Now I'm barely scraping the Nova ranks in CSGO
You also have to remember that the average player level only goes up on older games. It's an infinite race you just happened to get off the track at one point and a lot of the playerbase caught up to you. If you set a schedule for yourself and took it more seriously than the average zoomie i guarantee you you could reach the top 10% again well into your 30s.
This tbqh.
Also you have to understand that skill levels on a game rise over the years.
I was an absolute killers on Mordhau at the release, having played tons of Chivalry before, mowing through clueless players biting on every feints.
When i came back to an old duel server i used to go to i realized the average level just increased a lot, most people uses advanced techniques and are now a lot more aware of my tricks.
Also, maybe it's just a phase, but i can't be bothered with most online games nowadays, i feel like a lot of the charm is lost in most, games get learned and theorized too fast i guess, that or i just channeled my competitive energy toward something else, might be both.
It does make sense, I have a gf and a career now and only play a few hours a week. Can't expect to be one of the best with so few hours played I guess.
im 36 and im still goated with the sauce with some games
Quit spending time on life and play more vidya.
>be 42
>regularly 1cc arcade games and action games on NES/Megadrive
Your skill didn't plummet, your effort did.
Just play a game regularly and you'll get better at it.
You're supposed to be in your physical prime dude, people's athletic careers peak in their late 20s early 30s
Lifting wise I'm stronger than I've ever been, was benching 140kg for reps earlier today. However, game skill wise I have definitely dropped.
>people's athletic careers peak in their late 20s early 30s
That's because they're athletes at the peak of physical fitness having to compete with people 10 plus years younger them that are also at the peak of their physical fitness.
Non-athletes can remain fitter than most people into their 60s if they keep training and eating correctly
That has less to do with age and more to do with you spending less time playing competitive games.
The whole thing about reduced reactions times with aging is overplayed. If you're in poor health (bad diet, lack of exercise, drug/alcohol use, poor sleep, etc) that will effect your reaction speed and thinking quite a bit, but with aging, you only decline about 2-6 ms every decade. Most of the time, people just lose muscle memory for the games they used to be good at and just need to practice to get back to where they were at.
I’m at like 40+ deaths on Malenia now, and I just feel like a fucking idiot for allowing myself to get hit by Waterfall Slash or whatever the fuck it’s called again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again
I hate myself so much lol
i died the most to red wolf of radagon
>that feeling when you are getting frustrated so you make a bad play and die to it in phase one
I'm glad it's over.
Malenia is bullshit, and there are some people who are just attuned to FromSoft BS, so don't feel too bad about it. You have to have MAJOR autism to have an easy time with bosses like this.
Use blasphemous blade
Stagger her over and over
Keep distance
Run away at even hint of her attack
After first wave sprint towards her and through her, try to time it right with roll away few times, get lucky she won’t hit you, repeat
>stagger her
Many of her attacks have superarmor even if you use a jump attack
If you try to combo her, she often twirls away after the first 2-3 hits
If you can’t stagger then you’d be trading blows with her and she’ll just heal off the damage anyway
Aging is a very slow process of dying.
Real fucking slow.
Like kakashi being crucified by sasuke's brother kind of slow.
Or that blue-yellow medicine guy from bleach torturing one of the hollows in bleach with time slowing while piercing his heart with sword.
This is life after 30's. It sucks. Depression will get me anyway. Again.
>Be 29
>Can still top boards
>Mogging fags on Master Duel with Capeshit Supremacy
Too bad my social anxiety cripples me and keeps me from playing games most times
its because as a kid you played the same games for hours a day everyday while maintaining an intense interest in doing so. You proabably had 6+ hour gaming seessions like me.
Let me ask you something how long was your recent gaming sessions hmm? Barely 2 hours I take it? You suck at games because you dont play games as much as you used to simple as.
>have a 40 hour job
>go gym 3 times a week
>play golf on weekends
>have a gf (this is the main one)
How do people find time to play games in their 30s?
Its nearly 2. I'll see ya in the lobby, ya?
>Use to be really good at shooters on PC
>Dog shit at multiplayer FPS games on PC now
>Only one I'm still really good at is fucking Paladins
I'm only 25, how fucked am I at 30?
Its why I don't like games such as Elden ring. I just want a comfy rpg I can dominate
I am 33 and I am still very good at games. I just dont care much anymore about games that require actual motor skill.
Last one I bought was Elden Ring, and still did vastly better than most streamers I see.
The only game that I would most certainly suck at right now are competitive FPS, but mostly because I am using the cheapest, shittest mouse ever, and I dont even have a mousepad. I use the mouse on my bed. Aiming would be tough but I still could do decently.
You aren't missing much. New games are all cash grab trash.
