Minsc mostly still felt like Minsc although his new voice actor didn't go at it with as much gusto, but Minsc was always a meme so it's fine. The game was meant to have several more companions, with the initial ones on the beta tests meant to be the biggest buttholes to get feedback, but instead they just made those ones more likeable, added Halsin and gave up on the rest.
