Every single female character Riot has made for LoL in the past few years have just been diversity checkbox characters that no one asked for and that get completely forgotten. There's a reason why all the girls that still get attention and art are ones that came out in the early years.
The only girls that are allowed to be attractive are ones that aren't human.

Almost all the characters on this chart came out before the game was even big in China. 90% of the characters that came out afterwards are unpopular because most of them are ugly. Exceptions are mostly male characters like Sylas, Viego etc. and guess what it's because they're attractive.

You don't make characters stand out by being ugly as frick, that does the exact opposite and everyone completely ignores and forgets about them. There's a reason why all the monster characters get no good skins and even then it's like a pity skin once every couple of years with low effort.
