>Beat half the bosses on my first try using Cuphead, the rest in 2-3 tries (except expert Snowman; 9 tries)
>People online think this is "hard"
Is this like Elden Ring where only people who have literally never played a video game before are struggling?

>Is this like Elden Ring where only people who have literally never played a video game before are struggling?
those were always what the casuals were
Good for you, homosexual.
The gap between this and games release was pretty long, plenty of newbies getting suckered in now that its relevant again.
Also people just in general suck at video games.
The DLC is objectively more difficult than the base game though, that's fact.
How so? I legit couldn't tell.
Way more minions.
Hard disagree, the dlc never goes full spam like the bird or the robot go in the base game, its actually pretty simple for the most part.
It's more that they just play extremely easy, hyper-casual games on the 'Story' difficulty.
They'd probably struggle with games made in the '90s, too.
The only real hard parts are saltbaker first phase and the dogs last phase
Saltbeaker 1st phase expert can get out of control with the limes but after that he's a cakewalk and you get 3 lives.
also you did use only the peashooter right? if you used anything else you didn't beat the game, i'm sorry
Peashooter is easier to use than most weapons though.
answer the question
Shit, I used the turret and the lightning. At least I didn't use the extra life or invincibility dash.
>auto aim weapon
you didn't beat the game anon, i'm sorry, you have no saying in what is hard or easy
Powerups = You didn't 1cc any shmups. Upgrading skills and equipment = You didn't beat any RPGs or action games. Manually saving/quick save = You didn't beat anything.
bro the only 2 things you do in this game is aim and jump, if you remove aiming that is 50% of the difficult of the game gone
you didn't beat it, I mean, you beat it but in easy mode.
I'm not the auto aim guy, I just hate "you didn't beat the game" comments. Go frick yourself. Got a problem? Blame the stupid
fricking dev team for adding it. I like roundabout btw
I just gave up since the giant fight doesn't let me have any platform in his last phase. His first two phase are easy but I don't know what to do in the third phase.
Parry the pink cow bell and the platforms wil come back.
There are roast chicken legs as projectiles that are thrown down to a cow head which will cause it to sink into the acid to eat, and after too many are gone one cow head will start ringing a pink cowbell that you need to parry to get them all to come back up
>died
Shitter
Fighting the chef and honestly I'm disappointed with his theme music. I was expecting something like the devil boss fight, but it seems so out of place for the game.
They confirmed they balanced the bosses around new players. If you did two runs or more, one at release and one for the DLC launch, you did not beat the game.
Cuphead is pretty hard for modern standards. Play an old Shoot em up on the SNES and you'll find out what hard really is, fricking ridiculous.
Yeah, try the arcade version of Gradius 3 without credit feeding. That game pisses me off
people have lives and responsibilities that stop them from grinding all their free time away on video games. between my job and my kids it took me 2 months to reach hoarah loux, and I haven't even had time to reinstall cuphead to try the DLC.
Maybe you're just good at games?
For most people it's hard.
It was really hard for me and I died a thousand ties overall but i got better and can beat them all easily, I'm going to try and get S ranks on them all now.
How do you git gud at games
I can't beat the middle homosexual. I'm too dumb to understand his charging stab.
when he charges, you can parry him once and then when he rests, you have enough time to parry him twice. I think if you do it right, you get all three parries without touching the ground
Ignore the upward stab attack completely. Pretend it doesn't exist. Only attack him if he does the overhead arc or the charge, and both attacks are things you back away from to avoid safely. Remove the need to ever quickly jump towards him and the fight becomes trivial: get him to attack, back away, and jump.
I had troubles with this fight until I learn that standing in the middle makes him ALWAYS use attacks that can be countered. Once I learn that, I beat him in my first try.
darksydephil completely skipped the coliseum because he got filtered by the horse.
he then went on to brag that he beat the whole DLC in under 3 hours.
I bought the game for the DLC release and I had a better time beating the gauntlet than anything else. The game looks good but projectiles make it so there's too much shit on screen
>Beat half the bosses on my first try
>People online think this is "hard"
what rank are you getting on the bosses, though? people say it's hard because they're usually trying to A+ or S everything
He didn't beat anything on first try. It's impossible to beat bosses on first try. Don't trust everything you read on the internet.
>It's impossible to beat bosses on first try
I did while playing the base game, haven't touched the dlc yet.
You're just good, casuals piss and shit and quit hard games while real gamers (I use this unironically in this specific sentence) try until they win.
I found the dog leaders frames
This just makes me wish there was an unlockable "no filter" mode more than anything.
What's the point of drawing the animation frames by hand on paper if they are going to look 1:1 to what could be achieved digitally anyway? No one is going to notice any difference with the filters on anyway.
>shadman
That's a dog alright
Talk is cheap is all I have to say.
So thats the verdict for the new weapons? I mainly stuck to the Charge and Spread, but switch to the Converge for a few fights.
Why was the Knight the hardest of all the chess enemies?
He seriously has no business having that much health.
Yeah, 10-15 parries would've been enough.
People also said the same thing about the base game, saying they refuse to play it because it's too hard for them. Somehow it gained a notoriety for being too hard.
The game is really not that hard, you just have to keep trying and eventually you get enough muscle memory to win. A lot of normalgays seem to struggle with this concept, they think you should be able to beat the game in one go.
