That was one of the first games I ever brought off Amazon, I really wanted to like it but it's so fricking boring, fire emblem really has the best format for strategy games of just going from one chapter to the next with very little fluff

My friend tried to get me into the games but I had to use a lot of characters. I can't handle using a lot of characters. I don't want to grind all of them.

Most fire emblems aren't really about grinding, just play the game normally and everyone should be at an adequate level
You're not supposed to use every character in any FE, you're inevitably benching a few while you spread levels around your army.
Why is chapter 13 in engage the hardest thing ever I'd say it's harder than 10 and 11
Fog of War maps are just annoying unless you already have a general idea of enemy placement, especially since there's a Rescue staff that you want to rush for.

Beyond the fact that it's a Fog of War map:
>most enemies are promoted, strong, tanky and fast as frick
>you literally have 3 Emblems (more if DLC?) and one of them is stuck on Timerra, who's pretty shit without Sandstorm
>you don't have that many promoted units on your side because you don't have many Master Seals by that point

I find blazing blade to be less replayable than sacred stones
Conquest has great gameplay but the characters suck and the story is insanely bad. weird how that's true for engage too but Engage did grow on me
