Yes, the PS5 can run everything at 4k at 60fps while only costing $499. Only a $6000 PC can keep up with it.
It must be true, people have been saying it here for years.

>60fps
lmao imagine only being content with 60 fps in 2023 consoles holding back vidya since 1996
>consoles """""holding back""""" vidya
completely ignoring that PC wasn't even a relevant fricking platform for gaming at least until 2000 or the fact that consoles were largely responsible for saving and sustaining the gaming market as a whole during the 80's and 90's. Frick off elitist PCgay, no one asked you.

This happens every gen
The first few games out on a new set of consoles are cross-gen and are being carried brute-force by the new hardware.
Then devs start aiming for using the new hardware as baseline and so they start pushing graphical fidelity and resolution because those things look great in advertisement.
Only near the end of the gen do devs figure out the tricks of really making the hardware sing again.
We are entering that middle period of games looking pretty for ads but running like shit. Jedi Survivor was only the beginning
Because every time devs choose to prioritize visuals over performance. What is so hard to understand about that?
Why PC can play games at high framerates? Because games aren't made for high end cards. If they did then games would be running at 30fps on PC too.
> moron thinks a minor patch will amazingly 2x the performance > moron thinks they'd intentionally push out the inferior performing version as the demo 11 days before launch
It seems odd to me that you'd suggest that this demo they JUST released would lack the optimizations that the team has been putting in for the past 11 months?
The major thing is that YoshiP said that the game won't need a Day 1 patch. But the discs are already printed, So do you really think they grabbed a 5-6 month old version of the game to show off as the demo?
the game was done 3 months ago
there is no optimzation because the moronic devs said no day one patch so they lied aren't doing shit to fix anything
whatever was there when it went gold 3 months ago is what we're playing now in june for full game and demo
>xvi troon on severe damage control thinking the demo put out a week before release that carries over to main game is somehow an old build older than demos shown
moron all that proves is that this demo is a new seperate build not an old build
it's kinda insane that all these years later console players still aren't given access to basic graphics settings so they can choose their framerate themselves.
In 2 years this rig will be obsolete for new releases
Meanwhile PS5 (maybe) cucks and Xbox cucks will only need to buy and install TES 6... nearly every game are heavily optimized game for the consoles.
I don't own a console. My build consists of 5600 + RX 6750XT. I'm just curious by how stupid and naive most PC users are.
>nearly every game are heavily optimized game for the consoles.
If by "optimized" you mean running at 720p 30fps, sure. You can do that on PC too, you know.
It feels a lot like your average Platinum Games' hacknslash but with deeper combos. It's basically the beginning of the game, the progress carries through if you buy the game.
The problem here is that VRR doesn't cover below 48fps. My TV supports VRR all the way down to 20fps but the PS5 doesn't go below 48fps and I noticed on performance mode the screen tearing is insane.
Wait doesn't the PS5 run games at 60 fps like my PC does?

Digital foundry has been a blight to gaming.
It's not digital foundry
Why, because people actually care now about problems that games shouldn't have had in the first place?
No, stop noticing things!!!
Now do the Starfield comparison.
Sony is paying to keep this great hostage for the next year+, so that players can enjoy stunning visuals like this!
Every 8 years they talk about incredible performance, yet every time they can't run games at 60 fps while I can on my outdated shitty pc.
snoys are dishonest, disingenuous and pathetic. they blatantly lie that x game work flawlessly while having shit performance
Start of the gen:
>PS5 can do 4k/120!
2 years into this gen
>You can either pick 4k or 60fps!
Now:
>30fps is fine 4k is worth it!
Everyday I get reminded how nice it is to own a decent pc
This happens every gen

>stable 30fps
That is actually quite the achivement
I cant name you another game that can do it
The demo is 2 versions behind Barry
now post starfield fps on xbox
That's why PS5 is getting a Pro system
The demo is version 1.01 not 1.03 that was shown on the State of Play

What level of cope is this
>what is optimization
In case you didn't figure it out yet. Its not the #1 goal when releasing a game nowadays
> optimization meme
There's only so much optimization you can do for the PS5's outdated hardware before you morons start crying about how bad the graphics are.
It seems odd to me that you'd suggest that this demo they JUST released would lack the optimizations that the team has been putting in for the past 11 months?

lol these current gen consoles are already a joke
it's kinda insane that all these years later console players still aren't given access to basic graphics settings so they can choose their framerate themselves.
Don't care still buying it
Today I will remind them.
The PS5 is not running jedi fallen order at 60 fps
What meme image is this?
Anon, fallen order is the previous one.

moron calling other people morons kek
read again, dumbfrick. (maybe)
Is not even 100% sure that TES 6 is a microsoft exclusive.
>snoy still in denial about Bethesda exclusivity
Holy shit lmao, didn't know you guys still existed.
>>snoy still in denial

at least ready you moronic boy
jezuz, why autistic people are so moronic

so is the demo any good? i havent downloaded it yet and im still playing through zelda
It feels a lot like your average Platinum Games' hacknslash but with deeper combos. It's basically the beginning of the game, the progress carries through if you buy the game.
sounds like something i wouldnt like. i wanted it to feel like final fantasy
Damn, i can really feel the speed of PS5 super special SSD from this picture alone.
The problem here is that VRR doesn't cover below 48fps. My TV supports VRR all the way down to 20fps but the PS5 doesn't go below 48fps and I noticed on performance mode the screen tearing is insane.
Frick CBU3 for ruining FF
Literally unplayable, I'll just wait for the PC version
It doesn't even look that good.
What are they doing??
hack mmo devs
Reminder that Ridge Racer 7 on the PS3 ran at native 1080p at 60 fps
Namco were wizards, and even in the last 2 gen their biggest games tend to run faster than most.
I miss Ridge Racer..
>literally no shadows
wow congratulations on running a ps2 game
looks better than ff16 too
they really need to turn off ray tracing in performance mode, it makes zero sense
hold up, FF16 has ray tracing? Did Nvidia pay them...
How do you know there's RT?
It can be really hard to tell. I don't think there's any.
Game looks like it can run easily on the PS4 hardware.
Don't care about framerates on consoles as long as it's 30fps
