Love Cyberpunk, but the difficulty is absolutely fricked last time I played.
Depending on your level on any difficulty, enemies either die in one hit or a thousand.
Hell it was a b***h and I had sandevistan, gorilla arms almost max level and a gun build
I think you can save in the elevator and that's it
It wouldn't be such a pain in the ass if you could at least save when you walked into the plaza so you didn't have to go through the all the dialogue plus waiting for the secret ending option.
The secret ending is the only time I had to use all my weapons & cyberware proactively rather than just letting blood pump & biomonitor go on cruise control as I mindlessly slash with a katana
Very hard, everything else is shit easy. I would add some mods too to spice up the difficulty more. The game has a surprising amount of kino mods, i would load up.
Hard with no mods is fun and if youre not an autistic homosexual that spends 20 hours making and planning out the best possible build then it's still challenging when you're put in a situation where your strengths are hindered forcing you to be creative
I really don't understand where the bullet sponge meme comes from. People just not upgrading their weapons? Even after 2.0 with the level scaling changes, i have just not encountered this playing on Very Hard.
vanilla is piss easy no matter what difficulty you pick. Take one of the big name combat overhauls for some actual challenge. They either rebalance the damage values so nobody ends up as a bullet sponge or reworks the enemies entirely unnerfing them
the most difficult
play some of the filler missions right away and you will still end up overpowered by the middle of the game. wish someone told me the difficulty curve was this fricked
if you plan on spreading out the main game and sidequests then normal ends up being too easy by the middle of the game. I made that mistake. I wish I played on the hardest and did some of the grindy filler side missions early game
The best difficulty is the absolute easiest. Because your only objective should be to blast through the game until you meet Panam and then blast until she calls you again. Then do the "I Fought the Law" and "Dream On" and then turn off the game forever. Or frick it just watch this shit being played on YouTube and save yourself learning how fricking bad the game is.
This shit was always available Day 1, nothing improved about the game, nothing was fixed, the promises are still fricking broken.
After the 2.0 patch and I reskilled, put all my points into melee I can one shot almost every enemy on hardest difficulty. Snipers and tanks can be a b***h but you can use implants to mitigate most of that.
The second highest difficulty because higher than that was a bullet sponge and that just wasnt realistic. Normal is too easy and then you are the bullet sponge.
the difficulty is really bad in this game, even if you bump up the difficulty to hard its still face roll easy, the skill system/itemization is dog shit, also the checks do some stat scaling shit so like you need 20 strength to open doors and shit, its stupid
after 2.0 the difficulty is a lot harder for the late game stuff and shit gets incredibly tanky while at the same time they nerfed the shit out of quickhack damage. I used to oneshot every adam smasher phase before the rework and now he is actually tanky as frick.
play what?
Cyberpunk
Panam farts in her sleep
Everyone does, moron.
Why lie?

Only really difficult challenge is the secret ending. Even then, it only sucks cause you can't save and have to wait around 5 minutes to try it again
Haven't they added level scaling?
That was a real b***h on my non-combat Netrunner.
Luckily sniping through walls helped a ton
Adam was still a little b***h though

In a way I think it adds to the charm, but looking back I just tabbed out of the game to watch a youtube video between attempts lol, not very engaging

panam feet
No reason not to play Very Hard ever since they made it level scaling

Normal or easy. Playing modern games on hard difficulties is a meme because there is no difference besides inflated enemy health.
I really don't understand where the bullet sponge meme comes from. People just not upgrading their weapons? Even after 2.0 with the level scaling changes, i have just not encountered this playing on Very Hard.
I was still able to one shot enemies through walls on very hard
>using meme guns
git gud

Any difficulty above Normal

Normal, Easy just turns it into a movie game while the higher difficulties are fricking impossible

Hardest or second hardest. Early enemies are spongy because tier 1 weapons suck but you become op quickly enough.
