I'm looking for a game where I can be a dwarf, ideally one with an axe. What are the best, most fun dwarf games? Please don't say dwarf fortress

mage knight apocalypse
dragon age origins
t. betrayed dwarf prince
>dragon age origins
The one game in existence where the dwarves managed to not be the most likeable people around.
2nding this, you get to start in the underground society and return to it again to impose your will on a fractured kingdom
is it true that dwarves cant use magic? will i be missing out if I play as one?
severance has dwarfs?
Of course, he's also hardmode char due to low reach, slowness and no general special attacks.
Honestly all I know of the game is its apparently good combat
Maybe I should actually play it
>apparently good combat
The combat is servicable, but it's nothing special. You'll essentially be spamming the same moves over and over, since any new ones you get will make previous ones obsolete, unless the move itself is too clumsy in which case you'll never use it.
Warsword Conquest for Mount and Blade Warband
Deep Rock Galactic. Biggest downside is you aren't fighting leaf lovers.
Deep Rock Galactic
Divinity Original Sin 2 allows playing as a dwarf.
Their starting perks slightly favour going dual-wielding rogue build, but you can play anything (including having a two- or one-handed axe if you want)
Male dwarves are classic beardy manlets, while female dwarves are cute shortstacks.
One of the pre-made story characters you can play as is a dwarven pirate rebel who's on a quest to stop his queen from nuking a ton of people with magical WMDs
Why does it feel like Dwarfs and Lizardmen are always the best fantasy characters?
Dwarfs are generally salt of the earth stereotypes magnified, so they’re almost always likeable.
Lizards are generally able to avoid the painted human trope that plagues most other races
games that let you stomp on cats?
that card is so much fun
to be honest Embercleave with a good curve stomped on everyone
>equip it to huge swinging body by paying only 2 red
gg ez
This game seems autistically hard to learn and I like dwarf fortress/cataclysm DDA and grand strategies, so i'm not averse to autism but help
as someone who has played all three to hell and back, it's nowhere near as autistic
especially if you are already familiar with how DnD/PF works
double especially once you learn that almost everything that matters is a static spawn and once you know about it you're set forever
just start with a blind run, even if you're not a tabletop person if you've ever played an rpg it should make decent sense
>as someone who has played all three
I thought there are only 2 games?
>if you are already familiar with how DnD/PF works
that's the biggest issue, i'm not, but thanks anon, i guess a blind run is the best option. i just don't wanna make a moronic character that'll screw me over 50 hours in
he was talking about the games i mentioned. dorf fort/cataclysm and grand strategies
>This game seems autistically hard to learn
It's not, I'm doing a blind run and it's pretty easy actually. I'm playing on normal.
It depends on what kind of game you're looking for.
Almost every fantasy (c)RPG with character creation let's you play as dwarves. Pillars, Divinity, Pathfinder, Baldur's Gate and so on and so forth.
If you are looking for something more action oriented, try Deep Rock Galactic (4 man coop with space dwarf miners) or Vermintide 2 (one of the characters is a dwarf with like 4 career choices).
Also Vermintide has a pretty satisfying combat IMO, so hitting an enemy (or multiple) with a hammer/axe feels really good.
