Sup lads, so I grew up playing MMOs (guild wars, perfect world, maplestory, archlord, runescape, loads more) and I haven't played an MMO for YEARS.
Now, I've got a bit of free time and I'm looking for a bit of a nostalgic MMORPG experience for a few weeks where I can just mess around, hunt some monsters and generally just immerse myself in an online world for old times sake. Anyone got any recommendations?

Modern MMO's are straight up terrible, if you just want a nostalgia trip pick OSRS since the f2p part is basically the same.

most new modern mmos are theme park garbage where you hit a wall or reach end game and you either power through it for less engaging content or drop it to find another mmo

Mabinogi is amazing and surprisingly still actively supported to the point they recently updated the client to 64 bit and plan to basically remaster the game in unreal engine in the future.
