I've played Shattered Pixel Dungeon inside and out, and through research have 2 options, and it seems they are similar, yet vastly different, and at the same time both are worth playing.

I've seen Pathod edition has more environmental, and randomness with interactions; DCSS has been portrayed as a build-your-own-mary-sue which is fun, but the patch notes seem to nerf fun, so honestly idk, I need Ganker's input for my OP hardcore today.
they're both free, and they're different enough that you can play both for 5 minutes and figure out on your own which one you like more (dumbass)
