Yeah CoQ is good shit. Unfortunately once you've played it a lot and gotten good at it, it isn't that long of a game to breeze through the main storyline, then all that's really left to do is frick around deep underground looking for artifacts.
Isaac and Gungeon. Slay the Spire if you like card games. Hades if you want a good story but not so much gameplay. Gunfire Reborn if you want a good FPS rogue lite.
tales of maj'eyal aka Tome4 and dungeon crawl stone soup are the only good roguelikes, if you're VERY new dungeons of dredmore is a good starter roguelikes.
anything that gives you power ups between runs isnt a roguelike its a timewasting game that makes you grind buffs to win instead of rewarding skill/smart play

Even after 200h I still die a lot in the deep underground tbh, mostly because I discover an enemy that I've never seen before or I'm just unlucky.
Protip: Check the advanced options and disable the limit on defect mutations. It opens up some interesting mutant builds.

Gunfire Reborn movement is far too slow for me to enjoy. I put a number of hours into it but i really hate the snail pace.
