Pretty sure he meant how broken the game is overall, not just the common balance issues. But yeah, it's worth playing for the singleplayer content.

Wish they got cloud but i heard kilik has a leftover design from dante in soulcalibur 2 but instead got the superior heihachi so i guess it's not too bad

those 2 were my major gripes back then and i heard that sc3 arcade edition fixed them but i never tried it
I've heard chronicles of the sword is the main culprit for corrupting data, that and deleting other save files, its a shame i really wish they would re release arcade edition instead of garbage like soulcalibur 6
I didn't hate it. I liked it just fine. Zasalamel was a good addition. I just liked 2 more
Ivy and Taki (and everyone else) looked their best in SC3.

It's good, it's just the first two games are slightly better. If you like more characters and modes then SCIII is the objective best, but if you like the best gameplay and balance then 1 or 2 is for you.

I didn't have a PS2 at the time, and the game can delete your memory card it's so frickin buggly.
I jumped from SC2 to SC6 and I really don't feel like I missed anything

It's a broken mess on a technical that can destroy your save. Also it was only on PS2, if 3 came out on everything back in the day people would love it more.

Going back and playing it, the combat is kinda off compared to 2. At least it's not as slow as 4.
