Unironically better than Fromslop for the mere fact that the defensive option is actually responsice and frame-perfect instead of an input eating delayed slog that's bandaid fixed with input queue.
people will get mad because the roll doesn't have as many iframes as souls and the parry window is smaller than sekiro (30f parry window btw) so they have to actually play well
>so they have to actually play well
What a joke. The game has very aggressive scaling, and the P-Organ even before New Game+ and ++ makes the game much easier unless you are a complete moron. Factor in a couple decent arms, the throwables/consumables, and the handle system which means players don't have to make sacrifices between moveset and more powerful weapon, and the game is the easiest of the souls-inspired genre.
And I bet that is why people actually like it. They want to pretend they like challenge, when LoP is the least challenging game in the genre. Even the level design and how the lore/world information is delivered is less challenging than other similar games.
>how the lore/world information is delivered is less challenging than other similar games.
Anon thinks information should be delivered in challenging ways.
>You have to wait at least another year until the publisher removes Denuvo.
Why remove it? Does renewing the license cost THAT much after the release hype?
It runs better than that on PS4 Pro but still not good enough. Sad.
Bloodborne is overhyped slop that only gets defended because it's a Playstation exclusive, same with Demon's Souls, Demon's Souls is unequivocally the worst souls game in the fricking series, but Playstation fanboys act like it's better than it is because it HAS to be in their warped perspective.
Bloodborne has no starting equipment options, no faith stat or equivalent, the simplest level up and overall gameplay formula, rewarding you for just mashing R1 harder than any other Fromsoft game ever has, or since that point, and your build of choice will only ever be ready for NG+ because by the time you have the options you WANT, you've only got like one or two bosses left you can actually fight before having to start over.
I HATE BLOODBORNE NOW BECAUSE I PLAYED IT TOO MUCH.
>Bloodborne is overhyped slop that only gets defended because it's a Playstation exclusive
It's the other way around, it's much better than Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring but like two poorgays are sour grapes about it. For comparison the PS5 DeS remake is absolute trash and nobody should buy a PS5. If (when) Bloodborne becomes playable at 60fps on PCs even more people will agree that it's among the best Fromsoft titles.
>muh builds
Sekiro has essentially ONE build and it's a masterpiece. Having a kitchen sink of options isn't always better.

I own a PS4 moron, I'm not an anti-playstation person inherently, not buying the fricking PS5, though.
I have played through Bloodborne more than 12 times, and the cracks showed a little more for me with each repeat playthrough, I used to love it, USED TO.

Holy autism, have a nice day you gay sperg. Lies of Piss will forever be a thieving clone of Bloodborne and that's why it's (deservedly) only 80% on metacritic. Everything it does was innovated more memorably and stylishly by BB EIGHT years earlier
I love Bloodborne and Lies of P is more Bloodborne, I like it, it's not perfect but I enjoy it more than "literally playing nothing because Fromsoft is taking an eternity to make Elden Ring DLC", and it's worlds better than other Souls clones.
I didn't play Sekiro, because I don't like from games with less character customization, but I can say Lies of P is absolutely better than those three, Nioh 2 though, I'd say it's on par.
Bloodborne's moronly linear equipment progression means regardless of build you're playing the exact same game for about 40% of time on average and it pisses me off that it's fervent defenders can't see or acknowledge that major flaw.

What progression, the game starts you out with the best weapon
chalice dungeons can suck my balls. if bloodborne ever got a port I will be hacking in gems and weapons instead of having to wait until the end of a run to get the stuff I want
actually, completely agree
although i may say it's equal/worse than bloodborne if it ever got a frickin port. hard to judge a game that runs like shit and is console locked
I own a PS4 moron, I'm not an anti-playstation person inherently, not buying the fricking PS5, though.

homies shill Sekiro but i never read post about it explaining why, it's like homies never actually played and only shill it, you can see Nioh2 threads full of comments with people who played it, also with bloodborne, wo long is shit even original soul's have coments, but every single Sekiro shiller is empy or at most it's copy&paste from the wiki or some tuber and it's mostly lore or story shit, but not a sigle discussion of mechanics or weapons
so my conclusion its eigther souless shit since you have a character forced or pcshitters only shill it cuz its on PC but never actually played the shit
I like the combat hate the collision detection. This game is absolute ass detecting where you are and where the enemy attack went. There are times I'm 45º from the direction the attack went straight forward and I still take damage. The parrying mechanic is fun but requires time to catch on. The music is very good tracks like Feel and Quixotic are memorable. Lore is also interesting gimmick bosses are shit not as shit as in other souls but still shit.
Feels better than Bloodborne but I just tried on my PS5 and didn't like it too clunky even. Maybe because I played DS3 and Elden Ring before.
A bit better than Wo Long, a huge disappointment that I bought a month ago.
Inferior to Nioh 2 which I had the chance to play with all DLCs and had a huge blast. Haven't played Lords of Fallen yet and will buy Sekiro soon.
its bizarre how good the game ended up being, it came from literal whos from Korea, yet they made one of the best games I played last year
seriously, I got all the cheevos and everything and wouldn't mind playing for a 4th time, glad a sequel has already been greenlit
>lies of shill
What does kissing a boy feels like?
Much better than kissing a puppet
I dont have an idea what people like about this soulless korean slop

hilarious when elden ring is by far the easiest souls game
why do you think it won so many awards? even journalists were able to beat it lol
>why do you think it won so many awards?
Really? Didn't know every Souls prior to it went so under the radar.
>crack isn't out
Stop shilling unreleased games
its free on gamepass
First 3 chapters are on the demo. Go play it.
It's not getting a crack ever. You have to wait at least another year until the publisher removes Denuvo.
>You have to wait at least another year until the publisher removes Denuvo.

almost as good as bloodborne
better than the rest of fromsoft games
christ I almost can't tell the enemies from the background.
It's all brown and orange.
>tfw a version of Bloodborne that isn't stuck on a console that can barely run it was legitimately too much to ask for
It runs better than that on PS4 Pro but still not good enough. Sad.

>the in-game equivalent of Soul Arrow is stuck behind Ludwig the accursed
frick off.
Who cares? Nobody plays a Sorcerer in Dark Souls because it's not fun. Just because they give you the option doesn't make the game better.
>nobody plays a sorceror in dark souls
are you fricking serious.
>poorgays are sour grapes for free game you can emulate on PC
?

>other asian studio bad
daily reminder that memorisation is not a skill
Its better than sekiro because you can level up and use other weapons
I disagree with you OP
It's good, but the level design is a sad joke compared to actual Fromsoft games.

because only using the saw spear gets boring. also, having to do 10 hours of chalice dungeon running to get good gems on every file gets old fast

behold... the best souls game combat.. I had chills
Still not buying your crap
Keep shilling though
Microscopic penis asiatics seething hard at Bloodborne ITT. Yep. It's a lie of piss thread.

Lies of P?
more like soulless UI
Not as good as Bloodborne or Sekiro but better than those other games
Yeah it's not as good as bloodborne, sorry that upsets you Pradesh
You’re just showing why it’s a good game and not an artificially difficult mess like other games in the genre that came after
>noo!!! gimmick boss fights and trash enemy AI is a le good thing in my extra combat and action focused souls game!!
>not as good as bloodborne
>not as good as bloodborne
Yes.
You can do this in sekiro. Taking a half step forward between light attacks is a known cheese when they dodge after being stunned
>not as good as bloodborne
its impossible to play Bloodborne so this is as close as I can get
Couldn't deal with the garbage localisation and garbage voice acting. Thought I was having a stroke every time I read something.
americans when they have to deal with any voice acting that isn't american or americans pretending to be british
>muh sekiro
You are the worst of the fromdrones. Literally kys you waste of skin
korean games are just not for me
never seen one with the list bit of soul.
How does it run on 'eck?
homies shill Sekiro but i never read post about it explaining why, it's like homies never actually played and only shill it, you can see Nioh2 threads full of comments with people who played it, also with bloodborne, wo long is shit even original soul's have coments, but every single Sekiro shiller is empy or at most it's copy&paste from the wiki or some tuber and it's mostly lore or story shit, but not a sigle discussion of mechanics or weapons

lol No. Not even debatable.
Definitely better than Nioh.
>Better than Bloodborne
you didnt play bloodborne
did they really need to make pinocchio hot
