give me a remaster with high-res enemy sprites and a better (not piss easy) difficulty curve and it's a 10/10
The sprites are fine. Regular upscaling should do the trick. The overworks gameplay is what desperately needs to be reworked. It is just annoying compared even to apocalypse.

I like SMT games bros. There's just something so satisfying about playing them
replaying this game will make your opinion improve on this game, but getting neural is so tedious most people don't

I used a bit of searching on how the alignment system works to get it, but certain quests are bullshit
still I didn't really felt fatigued getting the ending and the ending scene itself gave me goosebumps, I liked it alot
nevertheless to "get" this game you should actively look for content additional to the main quest and most people don't

This game is as authentic as it gets. They made it just to have one last mainline out before the company went bankrupt and possibly disappeared. I know you want to apply the new Ganker buzzword, but this game is jank as frick mechanically and made with little budget, you can't apply that here

it is better than 3, 5, and apocalypse, on par with strange journey and a proper sequel to 1 and 2.
Sadly we are never getting a game like this again because the most popular game in the series is nocturne and atlus only knows how to copy-paste their most popular games.
