Sorry bud, the whole premise of redeemed durge was shoehorned in for weak sops like you who can't handle an evil character. The idea that a being literally born of Bhaal could somehow become LE GOOD through the power of friendship is some Marvel-level shitty writing. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Anon, have you played Baldur's Gate 1 and 2? You should know that's an internal conflict you as the Bhaalspawn face if you're playing as a good aligned character.
lol embarassing moron
This is, bar none, the absolute dumbest post on any BG3 thread I've ever read, and that's including this [...] schizo pajeet.
The entire point of the previous two games is that the Bhaalspawn taint can be combated and won again. You had multiple examples of that, both with good and evil characters.
None of these posts are actually refuting his post btw. Just because it was in 1 & 2 does NOT mean that it isnt marvel tier writing. (You) are a literal blood relative of the schitzo god of murder. Your very nature is evil by definition. Its like saying devils/demons can be good. Pansy shit for morons who want to have their cake and eat it to.

this
people don't change their personality
people are randomly generated IRL. in a RPG you decide what the character is like at the beginning and then you RP. if you RP a le evil character then change your mind, it just means you messed up
This screenshot moreso proves that moron zoomers can't into turn based tactical strategy. BG3 sucks, but it's because of the writing. The combat almost redeems it
1000+ hours in
Love the game
Shadowheart is mid
Lae'zel is cool
Astarion is the good kind of gay
Gale is a nerd
Mizora femdom
Halsin is cute
Minthara is sex
Durge is best
Canon Tav is female dragonborn gold dragon
The Emperor is a dragon's butt buddy
Sex with dragons
Dragonirian's imagined nemesis is always chinese or indian because dragonirian is russian so those are his chosen cope strawman. If he was European he'd pick shitty euro places, if he was american his enemies would be mexican.
Its coping because he doxxed himself and anons can tell what topics he uses as shitpost starters from him doxing himself.
Putting aside the fact that most people didn't play Durge at all, most don't realise just how much fricking unique content he has. A few examples: >Cast "Heal" on him. You'll receive one of two different flashbacks, depending on whether you're giving into the Urge or not. >Take a long rest before getting anyone into the party. >Consume a specific plant - you'll receive a flashback.
And so on. He even has unique content if you're playing a Durge Paladin.
My first playthrough was as a durge human paladin whom looked like the stereotype blond pretty boy hero. Struggling to stick to his oath made the game even more kino and the payoff when he finally broke his oath during the 2nd act was perfect. Currently taking a break but when I play again, I will probably do durge again because its the best.
I played Durge when the ending wasn't finished and was only finished recently. Only because Tencent bought out the company, paid WotC millions for the license hoping to buy out D&D from them in a hostile takeover, and failed. Now they can't even make a complete edition. Larian is the biggest joke of the industry lol
And then there's the awards panel plants. Even with a mole, the rest of those fake goty awards could not have come cheap. I'm surprised larian can even operate its skunkworks at all with that useless sci fi ip they keep trying to hype.
Shutting down dragonirian threads is how we curtail his schizophrenia. If you bul li y him enough he does go away for the day then we are all spared his schizo ramblings.

Lol dragonirian tried so hard to combat the narrative shift in the early days of his downfall.
He even spent weeks posting a false flag everyone knew was a false flag. The guy (??) was desperate.
What's worse is the untold sums spent on bots putting them back from finishing all the other endings. Let alone the rest of the content.

how does this homosexual explain the steam reviews?
that would be easily testable because it's one of those games that shows where you are in-game on your profile including if you're just sitting on the main menu
>Given you’re about to start doing it again
The more you cry boogeyman, the easier it is for us to devalue...how many RMB is it in Tencent shillbux?
Either way, we don't care. You're still a moron doing it either for pittance or free. Just stop shilling and it all goes away, Run, and tell your masters. Even if they only exist in your moronic tgshill head.
Redeemed Durge that has gone to Avernus with Karlach especially if not romanced is the ultimate kino >be finally free of your bounds and regain your sanity >through your struggles you found real friends, companions, maybe even love >but the shadow still lingers and your past still haunts you >but a plaything for the divine, torment you may never truly be free of >nothing you've achieved, nothing you've gained can save you >but maybe, maybe if she can be saved, so can you
My super villain playthrough is so fricking fun. Redeemed simps don't know what they're missing
See when you're good this is what happens >Everyone begs you for help >Can't grab power >Only get the shittiest companions aka wyl and karlach
The bad through >Pick a generic drow and evil races treat you as the boss without needed to trick them >Goblins in act 1 roll out the red carpet for you and call you boss on sight >Don't have to waste time with the druid grove or the Harper's >Minthara is the most based dommy mommy >Only bring astarion shadowheart and mi that's and you'll have the best team chemistry of based evil elves >Everyone supports each other grabbing for power >Get to kill the angel lesbian >Gortash invites you in and hands you a cigar as he tells you how based you are >Bhaalspawn celebrate your return with teary eyes and you get to meet your grand uncle seravok >Astarion becomes a vampire god >shadowheart kills her parents and has an army of ninjas >I gave minthara the magic tadpole so she can be a displacer beast the entire time
Super villains are so fricking based. Out of my way, I have a world to conquer
Minthara as a displacer beast really fits her voice and makes the party extra sexy. Holy frick I haven't had such a kino time like this is ages. It's hard to even think about being good when they made evil so fricking fun
>>Only bring astarion shadowheart and mi that's and you'll have the best team chemistry of based evil elves
supports each other grabbing for power >>Get to kill the angel lesbian
invites you in and hands you a cigar as he tells you how based you are
celebrate your return with teary eyes and you get to meet your grand uncle seravok
becomes a vampire god
kills her parents and has an army of ninjas >>I gave minthara the magic tadpole so she can be a displacer beast the entire time
lol what a cucked ass run. the best evil run is taking advantage of all those suckers by grooming them then taking over the netherbrain and using it to turn them all into automatons. if you don't view everyone as a stepping stone to power you're doing supervillainy wrong.
idk but I had to reload my save after frog wife chided me for accepting the slayer form, maybe I will play this game again in 5 years and full commit to the violence
>Ass Effect gone for years and Slopfield DoA >still waiting for a new dudes in space rpg IP to release
Swen please, not even going to ask for much besides cool alien races.
Larian will be our only hope.
>artist gf mostly doesn't pay attention while I'm gaming >meet this guy >"Oh who's that" >quit game
>weeks later, she's acting shady, hiding her notebooks when I enter the room >pretend not to notice but peek at them when she's at work >pages and pages of Halsin lewds
no no no NO NO NO NO NO
Hey quick question.
I made the deal with Raphael thinking he'd give me the hammer...but he never did. I wanted to go to the house of hope and do all that shit but the only way inside is to break in? So what's the point of the contract? I signed the fricking thing and don't get the HOH?
if you don't want to go to his house you gotta wait until later to get it
Thing is, I was being chill with the emperor...but the last dream I had with him he hit on me. I wasn't being mean or anything but I said "no way, freak!"
And the homie lost his shit and showed some the truth. Then he called me a puppet and fricked off. Now I want to get the hammer and kill that slimy frick as soon as possible.
I don't even help Shadowheart escape the nautiloid anymore
I stand and watch her pound on the pod, and I say outloud "You know what you did." Then I turn and leave.
Halsin? Dies in the goblin cages. And then I restart. I have done this "run" over 20 times now.
You may think trying to have all companions get along and 100% every quest is the right way to play. But you'd be wrong.
The best way to play is to commit to a fully good to fully evil character and kill companions who you don't align with you.
If you're good, kill astarion and laezel.
If you're evil, kyll wyl and karlach (and laezel)
Having 10 people in your camp is just annoying as shit and having someone disapprove your character choices is annoying.
First time playing, and holy shit is some of the plotlines/characters in act 3 just baffling. It wasn't ready. I'd heard about cuts to make it come out near starfield, but frick me the first two acts were pretty fun. But I'm starting to turn on it now and my desire to do a full evil run is diminishing.
How? My super villain run has been 20x more fun than anything else I've done.
My super villain playthrough is so fricking fun. Redeemed simps don't know what they're missing
See when you're good this is what happens >Everyone begs you for help >Can't grab power >Only get the shittiest companions aka wyl and karlach

Who are your companions? What are you trying to do? What aren't you happy about?
>Did my first proper playthrough as Durge (genocided the Grove to get Minty) >Tried to play as Tav afterwards but it just feels like half the plot is missing. Tav has absolutely no personality at all
I'll always play as Durge in my playthroughs now. It really feels like the intended story
it obviously is
I personally just feel like its too much shit going on
I like Tav more because they are the only one who hasnt a fricked up life situation so they make a natural leader among the Origin characters
You should play as Shadowheart instead. Her storyline is written into the plot to a much greater extent. The Shar worship is also is also the most sophisticated part of the game's lore. Durge scalies will cope and seethe but SH is the true protagonist of the game.
Sorcerer or barbarian.
Barbarian rage is the most logical choice. Most bhaalspawn and bhall followers are barbarians or rogues.
Sorcerer also makes sense since having the blood of a deity is in the class description.
I don't recommend being a redeemed good durge if you're a barbarian since you have no charisma and have next to no control in speech or anything. You'd be failing most of the urge resists. So sorcerer makes more sense as a good durge
Evil durge and barbarian goes hand in hand.
how does a cleric durge even work? Druids, rangers (muh nature), paladins (oaths) I can understand, but a cleric? >"haha yeah I turned a new leaf and I'm a cleric of lathander now praise le sun tehee :D"
The same way it works for paladins and warlocks - you tried different methods of controlling the Urge. Remember, that even an evil character may want to get rid of it, since it basically controls your life and takes away your free will.
I understand that Dark Urge (forma completada) had like 30 int AT LEAST, but this would imply that lasagna brain Durge peddled around the gods or orders until one of them took pity of him. Makes more sense considering the fricking avengers initiative of gods that opposed the absolute's plan though.
The main problem is just having the option constantly crop up when you’re killing the plebs while saving it for someone worth smiting.
That said, it’s one hell of an alpha strike that puts pretty much every boss on the back foot instantly
I was ready to be evil until the end, until Jahera accepted me, saying that I did that stuff because living with my dark side was hard, and she's seen it before, and that I can still do better.
I did it for you, grandma!
If you want to be evil for your own sake rather than for Bhaal is there anything specific you have to do to avoid getting shoe-horned in as Bhaal’s little pet or can you just go see Orin and tell them both to get fricked?
Rejecting bhaal to get to kill for yourself is one of the possible choices, yeah, just reject him and pick the evil ending for yourself, you should wait for the next patch though, they will improve the evil endings and it should be released this week
Psycho.
There is no good ending. They all suck. So go full moronic evil every chance you get. If there is a dialog option to do cartoonishly evil stuff, pick it. If not pick the dumbest choice you have. The only other option you take above those is to choose to just straight up attack.
Nothing matters, everyone is shit, Forgotten Realms is a shit setting, kill it all.
I have no idea why they changed him, but I guess it was part of the decision to make some of the companions good instead of different shades of gray. Wyll went from an unscrupulous man that would do anything to be the hero of the story, including selling his own soul, to being a straight hero with his biggest flaw being he cares too much.

>Wyll went from an unscrupulous man that would do anything to be the hero of the story, including selling his own soul, to being a straight hero with his biggest flaw being he cares too much.
I wonder who or what is responsible for such a drastic change. Truly missed out on a fairly complex and interesting character. It's funny that I went into BG3 expecting Wyll to be more of the former only to be disappointed by what he ended up as. I guess the outspoken fan reception was probably more in favor of good but relatively simple Wyll.
Wyll should have been a girl
So clearly as this anon says, the only solution is making Wylla instead. If a character is going to be simplified may as well make them nice to look at.
Redditors cried about the companions being too evil. I tried telling people to get involved into the early access but i a lone voice asking for Larian to keep the original evil/darker companions. You have only yourselfves to blame. If you want to avoid this in future Larian games buy the early access and make sure that you are the majority of voices.
Nah, they made the right call regarding everyone but Wyll
I mean the first three companions are still so c**ty lots of people kill them all of some of them on sight

Yeah... there was a reason why 'shadowheart disapproves' was a meme throughout EA
she was impossible to please
I actually managed to romance her first in the early access. She was perfectly fine. Redditors just can't work with a character that does not agree with them 99% of the time.

I wouldn’t go that far.
Beast is a rebel against a tyrant
Ifan is a loyal soldier tricked into committing an atrocity (though we later learn that elf genocide was for the greater good anyway)
Lohse is possessed
Sebille is an enslaved child soldier
The Red Prince is the only one that fits the bill, and he’s just supremely arrogant and entitled, rather than a sadistic butthole

uhh it wasn't though? Only in Lucian's deranged mind. The elf genocide was also the triggering event that opened up the void

The genocide to weaken Tir-Cendelius was to open the void and allow Lucien to engage in the false flags required for him to ultimately seal the breach.
The purge ending is the only peaceful resolution to the game that banishes the void and eternals forever.

The uniqueness of a man guilty of literal genocide being portrayed as not only justified, but ultimately the best hope for long term peace, stuck with me.
The other shoe of him turning into a worse tyrant after he got rid of the competition never ended up dropping, and the other endings are, at best, always about kicking the can down the road rather than dealing with the problem at the root.

Same, I couldn't care about anyone because every faction wants you to genocide the other guys and then tries to genocide you after doing their dirty work so you genocide their entire race instead.

Divinity was weird with how small the world felt. First you are a random prisoner in an island, then it turns out you have to learn to use your powers which you do in a small city in the middle of nowhere, before killing the gods and going to the capital to end the threat of the void forever.
Everything is so compressed that it feels like the world is made of a thousand or so people.

The bigger problem with the map pacing is how the nameless isle is act 3 even when 3/6 companions have quests tying them to Arx, a hitherto unexplored place and unless you’ve been playing blind you’ll notice some other ones set there too.
Only an abject moron or someone not paying attention would be unable to see that the well was a bait and switch.

>cried about the companions being too evil
I think I remember hearing about a bunch of people in the early access complaining about 'too many evil characters', so I think you're right about that. It was probably too much feedback from the sort of people who can't even imagine an evil or even a true neutral playthrough. Such a shame, Wyll is the most negatively affected I believe.
Alright just a little more to ensure compatibility for anyone who may be planning to add many mods together.
Note that the Compatibility Framework mod linked earlier is responsible for a lot of cross compatibility between subclass mods. This covers many of them but not necessarily all of them and similar lack of coverage for compatibility can occur for the 5e Spells when used with other mods making their own spell table additions. At the very least this can be handled by putting your most important mod below the less important mod in the BG3 mod manager. Basically whichever mod you want to 'win the conflict' and overwrite specific overlapping changes from the mod placed higher in the top-down load order. Top is first loaded and first overwritten essentially. Just getting the basics out of the way just in case, luckily patches exist for further cross compatibility between possibly conflicting mods. You'll probably only need the 5E Spell Patch.
This 5E spells Patch provides necessary compatibility coverage for Graviturgy and Chronurgy Subclasses listed earlier.
5E Spells Compatibility Patch:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/7054
And a X-Men Based Mutant Class (because why not) supported by the above patch, goes up to LVL 20:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/7348
And that is all for a fairly basic primer to modding I guess. Just wanted to cover that since a lot of issues with modding stem from one mod overwriting another. Hopefully that is all the stuff that is important for anyone starting out, too tired to think about it much.
And a last note for my previous post, make sure to read descriptions for the mods, certainly the important ones so you know what is expected to make it work or the load order. For instance, place the Compatibility Framework last or as close to last (bottom) in load order.
I think one of the problems is that the good companions intended to be grabbed earlier got shunted back or cut entirely, so they had to file off the edges of the originals.
It’s a damn shame
>good companions intended to be grabbed earlier got shunted back or cut entirely
No act 1 minsc is a part of that problem, but the worst of all is that cut content halfling werewolf that I think was named Helia. She probably would have been a good natured character and a halfling werewolf would have been great as a companion.
I'm pretty sure he was the most unpopular character during early access and Larian took the complaints of all the party members being evil to heart so I guess he was the easiest target to change.
The writing was severely affected by the reactions to the EA, sometimes for good reasons but for others they ended up damaging the story somewhat with the pandering.
They were all sort of mean bastards but in the way that made the game a chore because taking any side quests at all would have half your party disagree. But even then, I always found his goblin murder boner to not really fit and him meeting up his old demon companion in the goblin camp felt really out of place.
Redeemed. True Durge would've been better if you could have had Minthara and Astarion as your right and left hand instead of being mindcontrolled like everyone else.
>curb stomping the goody two shoes legacy party members that try to stop you from leaving bhaal's temple
just like everyone flipping out when you embrace your past as darth revan in kotor. i fricking love it. that b***h ass weanie halsin showing up at my camp just to burned alive was a real treat too.
>I'd play this game if it weren't so shit gameplay
I don't know about what your issue with the gameplay may be given the subjective nature of this kind of subject, but mods always exist as an option. Unless you hate the very genre or the basic mechanics and features to begin with.
At any rate, this mod may solve the custom party issue. It allows for full customization and even duplication of existing npcs into hirelings.

To be precise its a matter of the dice gimmick. Old school fallout stat checks work better than coin tosses you can skew in your favor. However allowing the player to have a full custom party cushions that gripe so I'll look into the mods.
I'll dump a post or a couple in a bit, probably a couple of minutes, for a whole list of go to mods as well as a link to a mod with a sticky post for a basic guide to modding BG3 if you never have before.

Paladin Subclass Oath of Redemption:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/7635
All of these class mods should be compatible with the LVL 20 mod and others but I haven't been able to test most of them personally. May dump another post with more classes but there are quite a few that I have.
At least a little motivated right now despite the time, so some other mods that I didn't initially include:
Wizard Subclass Chronurgy:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/3323
You'll notice that a lot of classes are from this same author, his classes are largely up to date and made to work with LVL 20 extension mods. Avoid the Circle of Druids Stormchaser for now, hasn't been updated. And his Circle of the Shepherd for Druids is unreachable currently.
Alright that is most of everything for now, I excluded classes that are not up to date or have no extension up to LVL 20. Late for me and I have forgotten if there was anything else to add on top of all this but I hope it may be helpful to that one anon or anyone lurking the thread.

Wait I take it back. Thanks I hope you have fun if you do end up doing a new run. A little bit of modding never hurt for a second play through.

Having a bit of a laugh right now because I am fairly sure you meant 'guy' in your post. Happy to have possibly helped, hope you have fun.
Both, played an absolute evil piece of shit Dragonborn Durge Draconic Bloodline Sorce my first playthrough and now playing a Tiefling Bard trying to fight the Durge this run
You don't need heavy armor to have good AC. Dex gives AC, and there are multiple armors in act 2 that give medium armor base value but also the full dexterity modifier. That usually gives you about the amount of AC as heavy. There's also the mithril shit which is pretty good.
Unless you just mean in act 1 in which case yeah you will be squishy on a lot of characters there.
A medium armor user is ironically a little fricked in Act 1, just because most of the medium armor you find early is pretty trash
My ghetto solution for every run is to steal Lae'zel's armor, I think you can get at least to AC 18 before Act 2 that way
I'm not proficient with heavy armor
it sucks, but I don't wanna respec out of ranger current build actually has quite good dps
>What ranger build?
dual wielding hunter-colossus slayer, and I'm in act 2 and already have the breastplate+2 and 18dex (I picked the dual wielder feat for bigger weapons in each hand)

Yes, in fact the breastplate is infinitely worse for your use case
Dark urge succumbing to the urge but failing to take over the world ending is funny as frick. He gets taken over completely by Bhaal and loses his mind becoming a complete murderhobo. At the reunion camp thing at the end, you're not allowed in due to being such a nutjob but sneak in at night pissing and shitting yourself while screaming to yourself, trying to kill your former teammates.
I did a normal play through with a berserker tav, assassin astarion, necromancer gale and vanilla fighter lae'zel. What's a fun class to play for a durge run that isn't any of those?
My absolute favourite evil run I ever did of any game was an explosives build in fallout new vegas so I'm going with this and I don't know why I didn't think of it myself
Gloomstalker probably takes advantage of an item durge uniquely gets the best. Like 5 gloomstalker 3 assassin 2 fighter 2 whatever. I've done this build a few times, and it's especially good if you abuse surprise (which you can do very easily even on honour mode). If you surprise with this build, you can just solo the entire encounter before anyone gets to act in the endgame. It is very dumb. Early game is fine but not fancy, since you just play as a ranger, okay damage and good utility.
my personal favorite build is abj wiz though, not really thematically or synergistically in line with dark urge it's just cool
Why'd they go with a Dragonborn for Durge you think? Don't get me wrong, I think it's cool, it's just kind of weird having the hero of your story an anthropomorphic lizard man
>everyone was exited about this game but as soon as it got popular people started whining like kids about it.
Where do you think you are? This is Ganker's literal reaction to any and every popular game.
When your entire online persona is being some contrarian homosexual who goes against the norm as to not be associated with normies, you're going to have a problem having a genuine discussion about something popular. And if it's not that, it's avatar gays who make their entire personality about their waifu and spam the same images every single thread.
>Middling Dirge Act 1 >Psycho Act 2 for early Slayer Form >Oath of Redemption Paladin redeemed Dirge after getting slayer
Dueling Orin as the Slayer is basically saying your dick is bigger. It feels so good.
>perfectly sculpted and defined cheekbones >dat lip filler >slight chin cleft
b***h boy vamps like Edward can only wish to measure up to the sheer manliness on display.
I went into independent evil and I got a special narrator dialogue at the end of the chain. Going evil at all though, is immersion breaking because the characters do not respond appropriately. You can go right back to normal dialogue and relationship status no matter what you do.
Going resist urge gives you the most consistent and well written experience.
>install Bags Bags Bags >take 20mins organizing inventory >start exploring, walk entire party into massive trap >my last save was from before organizing inventory
god FUKCING dammit
They said mod tools are on the way but they said it won't be anything crazy since they're "not a tools company."
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/baldurs-gate-3-mod-support-GDC-update/
It's a real fricking shame because they'd pretty much kill WotC if the mod tools are good enough to make entire campaigns with. Maybe it'll still be good enough but who knows until then.
Moreover I should ask would it be compatible? I'm running the full party gimmick and I'm trying to make encounters as grueling as possible to keep up with it. This is my current difficulty slapdash.
Redeemed. Bhaal is such a fricking homosexual and his cult are edgelords of the worst stripe. Being a murderhobo is just about the most boring thing to be in an RPG.
ì'm kinda mad larian will not make more forgotten realms games. I love the setting but hate playing pen and paper d&d.
There aren't enough good modern d&d games and i've already played the old stuff.
I played divinity os2 too and while a better multiplayer game i found the setting boring and uninspired. Would be a huge let down if they go back to it
Have they added the option to have a fully custom party yet? How about Mods? > Withers can...
No. That still isn't a customizable party.
The player is subjected to numerous, arbitrary restrictions under that system.
This really isn't hard.
Almost every party-based CRPG since the 90's has been able to do it.
what does a redeemed durge run even look like? You just pick all the good guy options? Isn't that just the same as a normal good run? I've never ran durge before, maybe next time
You got tons of dialogue, cutscenes and choices about being evil in the past and trying to redeem yourself, you get free extra RP whether you're good or evil,
start slowly becoming more unhinged as game progresses. only for me to become a total murder psycho after i frick all the girls i wanted to frick. then i murder everyone. only to be redeemed at the very last second. Durge was kino all the way i also save scummed and did both psycho ending and redeemed.
No, you can have a nice day after saving the world to be sure that you won't be corrupted, you can reject bhaal but still complete the orin ritual which gives you the most fricked up ending in the game, he'll get another new ending next patch
troony game
>I said the word again
>I posted it again
>t. bunkertroony
you can't even bring incels to frick you pathetic troon, get a rope already
>create character
>choose body type
>A is now female, B is now male, there is a C and D which are larger variations of both for some reason
>select genitals
>genuinely confused if I created a male or female character at the end and not sure if I need to restart or something
this isn't needed
>confused if I created a male or female character
You might just be moronic because its piss easy
seems that your primary problems is that you're completely moronic, frog-poster.
Demons have always existed in videos since the 90s and you were given the option to kill them. Why are chuds suddenly freaking out about it now?
Fpbp
it really is. troony game made by literal homosexuals.
first post best post
As I understand, psycho durge is getting some new kinotastic endings. He was already the clear choice, but this just seals it.
who to believe...
>Interesting character or UMM AKSHUALLY... I AM LE GOOD!
come on now
>Facing your inner demons and overcoming them or UMM AKSHUALLY... I AM LE EVIL!
come on now
Sorry bud, the whole premise of redeemed durge was shoehorned in for weak sops like you who can't handle an evil character. The idea that a being literally born of Bhaal could somehow become LE GOOD through the power of friendship is some Marvel-level shitty writing. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Noone tell him...
None of these posts are actually refuting his post btw. Just because it was in 1 & 2 does NOT mean that it isnt marvel tier writing. (You) are a literal blood relative of the schitzo god of murder. Your very nature is evil by definition. Its like saying devils/demons can be good. Pansy shit for morons who want to have their cake and eat it to.
> who want to have their cake and eat it to.
The expression is eat their cake and have it too.
no it isn't anon
Yes, it is.
https://interestingliterature.com/2021/07/you-cannot-have-your-cake-and-eat-it-proverb-meaning-origin/
Anon, have you played Baldur's Gate 1 and 2? You should know that's an internal conflict you as the Bhaalspawn face if you're playing as a good aligned character.
lol embarassing moron
This is, bar none, the absolute dumbest post on any BG3 thread I've ever read, and that's including this
schizo pajeet.
The entire point of the previous two games is that the Bhaalspawn taint can be combated and won again. You had multiple examples of that, both with good and evil characters.
Why are you even playing an RPG if you just want to be railroaded into being a murderhobo by simply picking a single background?
mid level bait, amount of replies shows sad state of board.
this
people don't change their personality
people are randomly generated IRL. in a RPG you decide what the character is like at the beginning and then you RP. if you RP a le evil character then change your mind, it just means you messed up
>facing your inner demons and le ober cumming dem
Wow! The story that has been told a billion times? How original
It has been told a million times because it is a good premise.
>Murderhobo gets amnesia, immediately goes back to being a murderhobo so the amnesia didn't mean jackshit, kills everyone and then themselves.
Oh wow such an interesting and engaging character.
Pretty sure they said the new evil endings aren't Durge exclusive
They said both regular evil and Durge are getting their own endings I think.
thank god the regular evil ending was embarrassing
yeah with the next update i think, they even teased a part of the durge endinh
>the game is still not finished half a year later
lol
game is complete, those are just free content updates, seethe and cope
ok trans
Its not an owlkek game, you can actually play and finish it
There’s supposedly at least two evil endings, one for Durge exclusively
Redeemed Durge.
the uninstall path
Are they buffing the durge monster power? It looked so cool but it fricking sucks.
>want to play durge
>keep feeling guilty after evil decisions
I'm such a pussy dudes
well you can try really hard to not do them
I tagged along with my friend while he plays Durge
>that awkward moment when I had to watch him frick Minthara
Durge is for getting tentacled by the emperor
Surely you fricked someone else like Karlach or Lae'zel to make him watch you too, right?
It's not pussy shit to hate evil, anon.
Be the knight you want to be.
Durge was too boring for me
I laugh at videos of Russians being beheaded but Durge doesn't really inspire that sort of fricked up glee
If you defend this game.
You didn't play the game.
Seethe moronic tendie
I do what I want
Seethe and cope.
No one played this game. Just shills and mental tg schizos
This screenshot moreso proves that moron zoomers can't into turn based tactical strategy. BG3 sucks, but it's because of the writing. The combat almost redeems it
>cast area spell
>combat is over
>NPC walks into it and dies
The mentally ill tg shitter cannot be salvaged.
the game has a full combat log so this guy is just being moronic
you don't see rolls in the log
if you mouse over them you do
>if you drill down 3x you can get basic functionality
>be like
I’m grateful this exists.
You can safely disregard anyone that ever uses the phrase.

Lae'zel is cool
Astarion is the good kind of gay
Gale is a nerd

explain. I haven't finished it
The Emperor had a prior relationship with Ansur, a Dragon.
I want to frick dragonborns and dragons (kobolds optional)
>and still didn't post proof
curious
Both are pretty terrible
You've been spamming this shit here since the game released
Imagine being this mind broken
What are you talking about?
Friendly reminder the schizo has been proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, to be a dirty pajeet.
Last time the russian dragonirian tried this with one of his strawmen it turned out to be a false flag.
We know. Dragoniki is a lolcow around here no one listens to him.
??
Dragonirian's imagined nemesis is always chinese or indian because dragonirian is russian so those are his chosen cope strawman. If he was European he'd pick shitty euro places, if he was american his enemies would be mexican.
Its coping because he doxxed himself and anons can tell what topics he uses as shitpost starters from him doxing himself.
Putting aside the fact that most people didn't play Durge at all, most don't realise just how much fricking unique content he has. A few examples:
>Cast "Heal" on him.
Durge who manages to free himself of Bhaal's influence only to realize that all the bloodlust/rage inner voice was his own all along.
I played Durge when the ending wasn't finished and was only finished recently. Only because Tencent bought out the company, paid WotC millions for the license hoping to buy out D&D from them in a hostile takeover, and failed. Now they can't even make a complete edition. Larian is the biggest joke of the industry lol
back to the lab shill OP
What's worse is the untold sums spent on bots putting them back from finishing all the other endings. Let alone the rest of the content.
And then there's the awards panel plants. Even with a mole, the rest of those fake goty awards could not have come cheap. I'm surprised larian can even operate its skunkworks at all with that useless sci fi ip they keep trying to hype.
about their awards and who votes for
BAFTA isn't even the biggest joke award. Nothing tops Golden Joystick. China probably didn't even pay for this one: UK is just that dumb

Don't encourage schizophrenia
You doing okay dragonir?
Shutting down dragonirian threads is how we curtail his schizophrenia. If you bul li y him enough he does go away for the day then we are all spared his schizo ramblings.
Why are you samegayging?
??
At least try to not be obvious about it, Eric.
>shills calling others shills
never stops being funny
Lol dragonirian tried so hard to combat the narrative shift in the early days of his downfall.
He even spent weeks posting a false flag everyone knew was a false flag. The guy (??) was desperate.
>The guy (??)
Is his transition done?

Jesus Christ what a loser lol
how does this homosexual explain the steam reviews?
He genuinely believes like 95% of them are Tencent bots that sit and idle the game to run the playtime up.
that would be easily testable because it's one of those games that shows where you are in-game on your profile including if you're just sitting on the main menu
>Steam reviews
>genuine
Do you trust Amazon reviews for all caps chinese brands, too? moron

If you’ve ever wondered why mods do jack shit, this is why.
The time to rage and schizopost was hours ago. You are not in a place to autistically clock posts.
Given you’re about to start doing it again the second you can safely pretend to be someone else, I’d say it’s appropriate.
Chop chop, anon.
I have 400+ hours in BG3.
I am yet to do a Dark Urge playtrough.
Redeemed Durge who goes to the Hells with Karlach to rip and tear demons
Redeemed Durge that has gone to Avernus with Karlach especially if not romanced is the ultimate kino
>be finally free of your bounds and regain your sanity
>through your struggles you found real friends, companions, maybe even love
>but the shadow still lingers and your past still haunts you
>but a plaything for the divine, torment you may never truly be free of
>nothing you've achieved, nothing you've gained can save you
>but maybe, maybe if she can be saved, so can you
Redeem.
i still haven't done a durge playthrough yet
It's pretty fun. Some people will end up dead, though.
Being evil is the opposite of kino Black person
my first run blind I ended up redeemed durge monk it was great
Larian really made monk playable in BG3. In base 5E monks sucks ass.
I'd say it's more boring than completely sucks
My super villain playthrough is so fricking fun. Redeemed simps don't know what they're missing
See when you're good this is what happens
>Everyone begs you for help
>Can't grab power
>Only get the shittiest companions aka wyl and karlach
The bad through
>Pick a generic drow and evil races treat you as the boss without needed to trick them
>Goblins in act 1 roll out the red carpet for you and call you boss on sight
>Don't have to waste time with the druid grove or the Harper's
>Minthara is the most based dommy mommy
>Only bring astarion shadowheart and mi that's and you'll have the best team chemistry of based evil elves
>Everyone supports each other grabbing for power
>Get to kill the angel lesbian
>Gortash invites you in and hands you a cigar as he tells you how based you are
>Bhaalspawn celebrate your return with teary eyes and you get to meet your grand uncle seravok
>Astarion becomes a vampire god
>shadowheart kills her parents and has an army of ninjas
>I gave minthara the magic tadpole so she can be a displacer beast the entire time
Super villains are so fricking based. Out of my way, I have a world to conquer
Minthara as a displacer beast really fits her voice and makes the party extra sexy. Holy frick I haven't had such a kino time like this is ages. It's hard to even think about being good when they made evil so fricking fun
the only thing that would make this even more based is if you could turn orin into your willing cumdump
>>Only bring astarion shadowheart and mi that's and you'll have the best team chemistry of based evil elves
supports each other grabbing for power
>>Get to kill the angel lesbian
invites you in and hands you a cigar as he tells you how based you are
celebrate your return with teary eyes and you get to meet your grand uncle seravok
becomes a vampire god
kills her parents and has an army of ninjas
>>I gave minthara the magic tadpole so she can be a displacer beast the entire time
lol what a cucked ass run. the best evil run is taking advantage of all those suckers by grooming them then taking over the netherbrain and using it to turn them all into automatons. if you don't view everyone as a stepping stone to power you're doing supervillainy wrong.
Good Durge was giga kino and pretty much canon
Waiting for the Evil Durge update tho
idk but I had to reload my save after frog wife chided me for accepting the slayer form, maybe I will play this game again in 5 years and full commit to the violence
How hyped are we?
It could be fun. Hopefully they add robot girls.
Shame such a cool art style was trapped behind a mid MMO
There better be female sangheili type aliens
I hope it’s dark and gorey, too much sanitized Sci Fi as of late
It'd be cool to see what they can do with the Alien IP but I trust they can make their own original kino
GIVE ME SEXY SPACE LIZARDS SWEN
>Ass Effect gone for years and Slopfield DoA
>still waiting for a new dudes in space rpg IP to release
Swen please, not even going to ask for much besides cool alien races.
Larian will be our only hope.

Bro, that's just Baki the Grappler fanart.
the most kino path of them all
playing TAV instead
Hey quick question.
I made the deal with Raphael thinking he'd give me the hammer...but he never did. I wanted to go to the house of hope and do all that shit but the only way inside is to break in? So what's the point of the contract? I signed the fricking thing and don't get the HOH?
you get the hammer later in the game
Thing is, I was being chill with the emperor...but the last dream I had with him he hit on me. I wasn't being mean or anything but I said "no way, freak!"
And the homie lost his shit and showed some the truth. Then he called me a puppet and fricked off. Now I want to get the hammer and kill that slimy frick as soon as possible.
even if you steal it from raphael's house you still have to wait until the end of the game to use it unfortunately
You can still kill him np, telling you when would spoil you of a cool dilemma though
Well at least you now know the Emperors true motivations. Never trusted him from the moment I met him as the Guardian.
if you don't want to go to his house you gotta wait until later to get it
bg3 defenders are the most dishonest creatures that have ever used Ganker
Unlike (You)?
I love my wife Shadowheart.
I don't even help Shadowheart escape the nautiloid anymore
I stand and watch her pound on the pod, and I say outloud "You know what you did." Then I turn and leave.
Halsin? Dies in the goblin cages. And then I restart. I have done this "run" over 20 times now.
I will never forget what you took from me Halsin.
halsin is boring as shit and his quest in act 2 sucks anyways
Who are your companions? What are you trying to do? What aren't you happy about?
Who do I clap?!
Lae'zel or Karlach?
They both are cool and have their quirks
Kill both. Faerun is a better place without those special snowflake cringelords.
Should I play Durge and go for redemption or just make my own dragonborn?
t. a pussy who always has to pick the good guy route
Play Durge if you are an edgy shitposters, play Tav if you are more on the normal side.
This
Stop replying to yourself, Tavcuck.
Durge redemption, tf. With tav you're nobody. At least with durge you have a compelling story arc.
Play Durge. Tav is a non-entity.
play durge, make whatever choices you feel like in the moment, end up with whatever you end up
Durge. He's actually plot relevant which will improve your experience. Tav is just some guy
Dark urge is more fun than Tav whether it's on the good or evil path
Nice art.
there is only one mandated murder you can play a good durge
Durge makes playing the good guy route fun. Because it's the only thing that actually puts up obstacles to being a goody two shoes.
>Did my first proper playthrough as Durge (genocided the Grove to get Minty)
>Tried to play as Tav afterwards but it just feels like half the plot is missing.
Durge scalies will cope and seethe but SH is the true protagonist of the game.
if you play Shart or Lae'zel you miss out on having them in your party though which is the only reason to play this game
>loose waifubait charisma-vacuum with no personality
>true protagonist of anything
lol
>wanting to play as Larian's deviantart companions
Couldn't be me.
sorry, ur waifu a shit and elves belong in the ground
I played Tav and immensely enjoyed it, but I wish I had played Durge.
violent sex with drow females
Always play Durge no matter if good or bad, you can even save bard if you want.
>you can even save bard if you want
doesn't it ruin your relationship with her? no way she continues talking to you normally in act 2.
She will mention it in act 3 at the end.
Im playing durge honor for the first time but i like the good path
Redeemed, always. Evil Durge kinda sucks all around
what class to play durge as, does a paladin even make sense?
Sorcerer or barbarian.
Barbarian rage is the most logical choice. Most bhaalspawn and bhall followers are barbarians or rogues.
Sorcerer also makes sense since having the blood of a deity is in the class description.
I don't recommend being a redeemed good durge if you're a barbarian since you have no charisma and have next to no control in speech or anything. You'd be failing most of the urge resists. So sorcerer makes more sense as a good durge
Evil durge and barbarian goes hand in hand.
Seconding sorc.
warlock mixed with fighter for 6 eldritch blast crits in one turn
>big murder lizard
The white dragonborn as default for the Durge was such a good choice. Looks great in fanart and in game.
assasin rogue you get a cloak that grants you invisibility on kill
I have a cape that does that on my monk Dirge it's great
yes, you even get unique durge paladin dialogues with two characters
how does a cleric durge even work?
If the 'crit on demand' ring is durge exclusive, then very.
Being able to land a crit smite without relying on rng is fricking busted.
The main problem is just having the option constantly crop up when you’re killing the plebs while saving it for someone worth smiting.
That said, it’s one hell of an alpha strike that puts pretty much every boss on the back foot instantly
Psycho durge
I was ready to be evil until the end, until Jahera accepted me, saying that I did that stuff because living with my dark side was hard, and she's seen it before, and that I can still do better.
I did it for you, grandma!
If you want to be evil for your own sake rather than for Bhaal is there anything specific you have to do to avoid getting shoe-horned in as Bhaal’s little pet or can you just go see Orin and tell them both to get fricked?
Bhaal doesn't need your devotion, as long as you kill. There is nothing wrong with taking his favor if that's what you want.
Rejecting bhaal to get to kill for yourself is one of the possible choices, yeah, just reject him and pick the evil ending for yourself, you should wait for the next patch though, they will improve the evil endings and it should be released this week
God i love him.
I hate that he's canonically a scalie. fricking furries.
durge is canonically whatever the frick you choose it to be
What went wrong with Wyll?
I have no idea why they changed him, but I guess it was part of the decision to make some of the companions good instead of different shades of gray. Wyll went from an unscrupulous man that would do anything to be the hero of the story, including selling his own soul, to being a straight hero with his biggest flaw being he cares too much.
They wasted dev time on a rewrite, a black male companion was never going to be popular
>black male companion was never going to be popular
Sten was a good companion.
he's grey and not even human
it's a larian game, you'll have your scalie race
The dude has cornrows, and he was before Qunari were dragon people.
He's also grey, has red eyes and isn't even fricking human. He's not black. His people are middle eastern at best.
Does Jolee Bindo ring a bell?s
Wyll should have been a girl
no BBC
>Wyll went from an unscrupulous man that would do anything to be the hero of the story, including selling his own soul, to being a straight hero with his biggest flaw being he cares too much.
I wonder who or what is responsible for such a drastic change. Truly missed out on a fairly complex and interesting character. It's funny that I went into BG3 expecting Wyll to be more of the former only to be disappointed by what he ended up as. I guess the outspoken fan reception was probably more in favor of good but relatively simple Wyll.
Redditors just can't work with a character that does not agree with them 99% of the time.
>people kill them all of some of them on sight
People or thinskinned homosexuals?
Thinskinned homosexuals but D:OS2 was basically everyone is Hitler: the game, and I'm just glad they turned the Hitler dial down
>D:OS2 was basically everyone is Hitler: the game
The frick are you talking about? Beast, Sebille and Lohse are all good characters.
And Ifan was deceived into doing a Hitler
I wouldn’t go that far.
Beast is a rebel against a tyrant
Ifan is a loyal soldier tricked into committing an atrocity (though we later learn that elf genocide was for the greater good anyway)
Lohse is possessed
Sebille is an enslaved child soldier
The Red Prince is the only one that fits the bill, and he’s just supremely arrogant and entitled, rather than a sadistic butthole
>(though we later learn that elf genocide was for the greater good anyway)
uhh it wasn't though? Only in Lucian's deranged mind. The elf genocide was also the triggering event that opened up the void
The genocide to weaken Tir-Cendelius was to open the void and allow Lucien to engage in the false flags required for him to ultimately seal the breach.
The purge ending is the only peaceful resolution to the game that banishes the void and eternals forever.
Lucien literally did nothing wrong
I shared source with everyone :^)
Scratch that, I forgot about not realising Braccus would inevitably break free and backstab him.
Lucian did nothing wrong except see the most obvious twist in the history of RPGs coming
How do you guys remember Divinity’s lore? I had fun with that game but forgot everything a month later.
DOS lives and dies on the combat scenarios and dungeon exploring, everything else is mid tier window dressing.
>cried about the companions being too evil
I think I remember hearing about a bunch of people in the early access complaining about 'too many evil characters', so I think you're right about that. It was probably too much feedback from the sort of people who can't even imagine an evil or even a true neutral playthrough. Such a shame, Wyll is the most negatively affected I believe.
She probably would have been a good natured character and a halfling werewolf would have been great as a companion.
redditified along with the rest of the cast
Wyll is good for bullying actually
I actually like Disney prince Will but I admit the EA version does sound more compelling
I remember him being much more of a mean bastard in the EA.
They were all sort of mean bastards but in the way that made the game a chore because taking any side quests at all would have half your party disagree. But even then, I always found his goblin murder boner to not really fit and him meeting up his old demon companion in the goblin camp felt really out of place.
I like both and theor the only playthroughs i do.
Redeemed. True Durge would've been better if you could have had Minthara and Astarion as your right and left hand instead of being mindcontrolled like everyone else.
Jaheira believed in me. Even after I killed Isobel and Last Light. The correct course is to save Baldur's Gate and be an hero.
>curb stomping the goody two shoes legacy party members that try to stop you from leaving bhaal's temple
just like everyone flipping out when you embrace your past as darth revan in kotor. i fricking love it. that b***h ass weanie halsin showing up at my camp just to burned alive was a real treat too.
Id play this game if it weren't so shit gameplay wise and if I could have a full custom party.
Full Custom Companions (Hirelings):
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/4928
To be precise its a matter of the dice gimmick. Old school fallout stat checks work better than coin tosses you can skew in your favor. However allowing the player to have a full custom party cushions that gripe so I'll look into the mods.
I'll dump a post or a couple in a bit, probably a couple of minutes, for a whole list of go to mods as well as a link to a mod with a sticky post for a basic guide to modding BG3 if you never have before.
Alright here is the first dump of many to start with.

All of these class mods should be compatible with the LVL 20 mod and others but I haven't been able to test most of them personally. May dump another post with more classes but there are quite a few that I have.
That female Wyll mod really portrays how uninteresting that poor character is.
God damn anon let go of the yamato, you're gaining to much motivation.
At least a little motivated right now despite the time, so some other mods that I didn't initially include:
Wizard Subclass Graviturgy:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/484/
Wizard Subclass Chronurgy:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/3323
You'll notice that a lot of classes are from this same author, his classes are largely up to date and made to work with LVL 20 extension mods. Avoid the Circle of Druids Stormchaser for now, hasn't been updated. And his Circle of the Shepherd for Druids is unreachable currently.
Fighter Subclass Banneret:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/5210
Fighter Subclass Arcane Archer:

Fighter Subclass Rune Knight:

Barbarian Subclass Storm Herald:

Ranger Subclass Monster Slayer:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/5842
Rogue Extra(additional subclasses for Rogues):
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/189
Yet Another Necrolock Mod (fairly expansive list of patrons to select):
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/3045
Paladin Blackguard:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/6612
Fighter Subclass Cavalier:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/4979
Alright that is most of everything for now, I excluded classes that are not up to date or have no extension up to LVL 20. Late for me and I have forgotten if there was anything else to add on top of all this but I hope it may be helpful to that one anon or anyone lurking the thread.
Compatibility Framework Subclass Patches:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/6996
Cleric Ambition Domain:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/8734
Cleric Solidarity:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/8765
I'm not reading all that.
>get tl;dr'ed
>effort posted for nothing
Well you can't win them all.
But I do hope the dreaded text wall helped at least one person.
Not the initial anon, but thanks. I've been considering a new run
Wait I take it back. Thanks I hope you have fun if you do end up doing a new run. A little bit of modding never hurt for a second play through.
thanks gay I didn't know transmog was out there yet, I was going to wait for mounted combat but I think I'll give my second run a go now
>thanks gay
Having a bit of a laugh right now because I am fairly sure you meant 'guy' in your post. Happy to have possibly helped, hope you have fun.
Why did they make it so the Last Light NPCs don't count as allies anymore? It's moronic, half the protective spells don't work on anyone there
Both, played an absolute evil piece of shit Dragonborn Durge Draconic Bloodline Sorce my first playthrough and now playing a Tiefling Bard trying to fight the Durge this run
How do you play melee martials with low AC?
I always get oneshotted by boss fights
Don't have low AC?
I'm not proficient with heavy armor
it sucks, but I don't wanna respec out of ranger current build actually has quite good dps
My ghetto solution for every run is to steal Lae'zel's armor, I think you can get at least to AC 18 before Act 2 that way
What ranger build?
>What ranger build?
dual wielding hunter-colossus slayer, and I'm in act 2 and already have the breastplate+2 and 18dex (I picked the dual wielder feat for bigger weapons in each hand)
Just buying the Yuan-Ti mail and the AC cloak at the Last Light Inn would get you +2 AC
b-but my stealth checks
Not affected by the Yuan-Ti scale mail
WHAT
thank you
Yes, in fact the breastplate is infinitely worse for your use case
Heavy armor generally sucks balls
Like that other guy said, DEX helps and you can get lots of +AC items and better armor in early Act 2
>I have low defences
>I get hurt really easily
>how do I fix this
its a mystery
take off the risky ring
Dark urge succumbing to the urge but failing to take over the world ending is funny as frick.
He gets taken over completely by Bhaal and loses his mind becoming a complete murderhobo. At the reunion camp thing at the end, you're not allowed in due to being such a nutjob but sneak in at night pissing and shitting yourself while screaming to yourself, trying to kill your former teammates.
I did a normal play through with a berserker tav, assassin astarion, necromancer gale and vanilla fighter lae'zel. What's a fun class to play for a durge run that isn't any of those?
draconic bloodline (fire) sorcerer for pyromaniac durge
Psycho durge who tries to redeem himself at the very end.
Why'd they go with a Dragonborn for Durge you think? Don't get me wrong, I think it's cool, it's just kind of weird having the hero of your story an anthropomorphic lizard man
well have you seen his sister?
there's also a canonical half-dragon bhaalspawn
Akchully Orin is his niece/grand-niece and maybe old lover iirc?
they wanted to show off the dragonborn animations and I can't blame them
Durge is whatever you want him to be. There is no canon choice.
I like Durge because he looks like a friendly lizard
i feel like BG3 broke Ganker, everyone was exited about this game but as soon as it got popular people started whining like kids about it.
shazamtrannies and tortanic morons were mad that they were proven wrong
>BG3 broke Ganker, everyone was exited about this game
Everyone was calling it D:OS3, and it wasn't in a positive manner.
you clearly weren't in any EA threads, why would you come online and lie?
>everyone was exited about this game but as soon as it got popular people started whining like kids about it.
>Middling Dirge Act 1
>Psycho Act 2 for early Slayer Form
>Oath of Redemption Paladin redeemed Dirge after getting slayer
Dueling Orin as the Slayer is basically saying your dick is bigger. It feels so good.
(You) durge and not lizard
storming into the final fight with an army of summons was pretty epic
recommend this mod for gortash to not look like an emo homosexual
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/5331
giga cringe, Gortash looks great as a post-wall FF villain
ehh, I think it's mostly the clothing on the left that makes him look moronic. The mod also can be installed as just a clothing makeover
>he actually looks way better with a different haircut
Interesting.
this gortash looks like handsome shrek
That one is new to me actually, I was using this one in the link instead.
Gortash Facelift:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2324
Technically custom but the author basically took a vemperen head (another mod in the list above) and used it for Gortash. Has a few options to choose.
This doesn't fix the clothes, I think that does way more than the face/hair
Yeah I just peeped the clothing change in the v2 part of the pic, looks nice.
there's also this
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/4174
>that lovely face
kek, I am torn between making a joke about handsome squidward or the bogdanoff twins.
>perfectly sculpted and defined cheekbones
>dat lip filler
>slight chin cleft
b***h boy vamps like Edward can only wish to measure up to the sheer manliness on display.
I went into independent evil and I got a special narrator dialogue at the end of the chain. Going evil at all though, is immersion breaking because the characters do not respond appropriately. You can go right back to normal dialogue and relationship status no matter what you do.

Can't wait until official mod tools
this game's gonna be the new skyrim for modders
God damn, nothing is more dishonest than bg3 shills
keep coping
keep seething
Just let the moron talk to himself.
Treat it like a nature documentary
You think Swen is coping for losing 30% of his company?
BG3 made billions, he doesn't give a frick lol
Don’t encourage morons, anon.
>install Bags Bags Bags
>take 20mins organizing inventory
>start exploring, walk entire party into massive trap
>my last save was from before organizing inventory
god FUKCING dammit
lmfao
Any hope for indepth mod tools? No one used whatever shit they put out for OS2, but BG3 is so much more popular plus its D&D.
They said mod tools are on the way but they said it won't be anything crazy since they're "not a tools company."

It's a real fricking shame because they'd pretty much kill WotC if the mod tools are good enough to make entire campaigns with. Maybe it'll still be good enough but who knows until then.
Lame. Hopefully since its cross-platform, sharing mods with friends for co-op to make the process easier will be a thing.
Being clueless and shameless durge is the way.

What other mandatory mods
all of pavelk's mods for QOL
What's the difference between that first one and say, Death March/Tactician Plus?
Moreover I should ask would it be compatible? I'm running the full party gimmick and I'm trying to make encounters as grueling as possible to keep up with it. This is my current difficulty slapdash.
murder lizard
Redeemed. Bhaal is such a fricking homosexual and his cult are edgelords of the worst stripe. Being a murderhobo is just about the most boring thing to be in an RPG.
durge who tries to go for redeemed durge but eventually gives in and goes full psycho
A lot of the game is trash but the Shadowheart Shar storyline is certified kino. I just replay that part of the game over and over.
>tactical difficulty enemies are too weak
>honor mode deletes all the fun builds
zzzz
Redeemed Durge that is still evil and psycho just not Bhaals sex slave.
ì'm kinda mad larian will not make more forgotten realms games. I love the setting but hate playing pen and paper d&d.
There aren't enough good modern d&d games and i've already played the old stuff.
I played divinity os2 too and while a better multiplayer game i found the setting boring and uninspired. Would be a huge let down if they go back to it
opinion on wild magic durge?
Only play that subclass if you want to meme around
Wild magic can and will blow up in your face. If you don't mind that, go for it. My first run was a wild magic sorcerer, and I had fun with it.
sex, with Durge!
Have they added the option to have a fully custom party yet? How about Mods?
> Withers can...
No. That still isn't a customizable party.
The player is subjected to numerous, arbitrary restrictions under that system.
This really isn't hard.
Almost every party-based CRPG since the 90's has been able to do it.
the secret path
Redeemed durge seems like the true successor to BG1&2 and should've been the default over "Tav" bullshit
what does a redeemed durge run even look like? You just pick all the good guy options? Isn't that just the same as a normal good run? I've never ran durge before, maybe next time
You got tons of dialogue, cutscenes and choices about being evil in the past and trying to redeem yourself, you get free extra RP whether you're good or evil,
post your day 1 EA screenshots
start slowly becoming more unhinged as game progresses. only for me to become a total murder psycho after i frick all the girls i wanted to frick. then i murder everyone. only to be redeemed at the very last second. Durge was kino all the way i also save scummed and did both psycho ending and redeemed.
is durge ending also a binary option at the end? really sucks if so. hated that with Tav
No, you can have a nice day after saving the world to be sure that you won't be corrupted, you can reject bhaal but still complete the orin ritual which gives you the most fricked up ending in the game, he'll get another new ending next patch
