Patch one is very close to being added Fingers crossed for a Minthara fix and maybe some of that cut content will be restored, as I get the feeling a chunk of it might be similarly bugged or unfinished as opposed to deliberately cut.

NMS outright lied about the existence of mechanics in the game that werent there and marketed the game as the next coming of jesus Christ of gaming, eventually they added all mechanics promised and more, but failed to come close to the hype.

That's true, though. We go through this with every Souls game, people say the second half is empty and unfinished, and there's tons of cut content which sounds awesome. It has almost zero effect on the games' reputation, though. Half-Life was like that, too. Everyone said Xen was unfinished garbage, but it didn't stop them from thinking it was one of the best games ever.

No man's sky cut content was advertised as being accssible. Entire full features were promised and turned out to be non existent. The big one being multiplayer/meet other people. And that's just the shitshow ontop of the hip big trend back in those E3 years, where every gameplay trailer was one big gaslighting scheme.
Just got to the Underdark and it feels really empty. Like at least half the map is just wasted space. Curious to see how the later parts in the game will hold up.
