>literally the entire point of the first game is that he's mellowed out and become weaker due to no longer needing to rampage through Olympus to take revenge on those who have wronged him >the Norse gods dragged him back into the ring and forced him to re-embrace his strength >there's literally an entire, long, drawn out scene of Kratos reclaiming the Blades of Chaos and giving in to his anger (Spartan Rage)
He didn't play the games. Just got a PS4 and played GoW and thought that's the first onedesu. Also pretty sure he was stronger in the original trilogy because Olympus was still around which if I'm correct. Is where all the Greek gods were getting their power from. Hence why the Titans wanted to take it so bad. Or they just wanted to make the game a boring movie and make fake tension by saying "oh no the immortal god is weak now!" So that his homosexual son can take over the series. Idk I don't have a PS5 and didn't play Ragnarok.
>didn't play Ragnarok.
Kratos still literally the main lead and got Freya as his sidekick now

I thought she wanted to kill him for killing his son? Did they just want to add a woman for inclusions sake? There are to many characters for exposition dumps now.

Uhhhh but anon. What about her son? Does she just want his BGC? (Big Greek Cake) also I'm still thinking they are gonna kill off kratos and make you play as Atreus eventually. Shit they made that pretty clear at the end of the GoW. Man I bet you don't even get to right Zeus in Ragnarok, which was such a c*ck tease in GoW.

>Shit they made that pretty clear at the end of the GoW
It was a red herring, Kratos lives and now he's going to Egypt, Atreus fricks off to pound chocolate pussy
>still massacred another pantheon despite previously destroying the source of most of his godly powers
He's not weak, he just has a greater burden. Gods are much weaker when they aren't on their homelands and his homeland was literally destroyed.
moron, they slowed the game to make the hits chunkier, but the lead devs and producers said Kratos is actually stronger in 4 than he is in 3 he just holds back a whole lot more.
>Looks more mature and manly because of the beard a thing design by God or evolution to clearly point out the males > omg so cringe what a downgrade
Either OP can't grow facial hair or he is just an effeminate man aka a huge fricking homosexual
They always talk about how Kratos is now mature and he regrets being angry, but I don't remember even one occasion where his anger is not justified. I wouldn't even said his emotions were over the top. I even remember scene where he tried to convince Hercules not to fight. I don't see how is this behavior of the person with anger issues. The viking Kratos is just a justification for anti-masculinity propaganda. Angry is le bad. Don't be angry you chud, be obedient and silent
Kratos in GOW1 wasnt even that angry or revenge fueled he was just tired and depressed. Killing ares was just a bonus to what he really wanted
those aren't good beards and secondly the men on the left would also look handsome with some facial hair, beards are only bad when they are used on homosexuals compensating for something, Kratos is not a jawlet so it's fine
Still boggles my mind that for a brief era men looked 30 by 20 and were hyper masculine. But then you look at paintings of men from the past and they didn't look anywhere nearly as manly.

Kratos performed many fricked up acts, he was not always justified. For instance, he threw the shit captain to his death for no reason, he just wanted to be edgy
>he threw the shit captain to his death for no reason
He threw the captain to his death for locking women and children in a captain with no means of escaping their death while the captain ran away like a fricking coward. If the captain had just handed over the key when he first saw Kratos he would have lived. The captain died like a b***h because he was a b***h.
He literally killed his wife and daughter in a fit of rage
He killed his wife and child because Athena disguised herself as an oracle, worked with Ares to move Kratos' wife and child into HER temple, and then said the one thing that was necessary to make sure Kratos would carry out the mission he was tasked with by a god.
Kratos killed many innocents for the lulz. He was so angry and ruthless he says something like "let the mortals suffer and die" when ghost Athena tells him that the world is getting BTFO because of his acting like an angry moron
Not caring after the gods and mortals have shit all over you is not, "for the lulz." Though, since you clearly have the mind of a child, it's surprising you are just in love with the game.
It was Poseidon's princess, not his wife, most likely some kind of sex slave. but do please explain how it would be totally cool to meatgrinder her if she were a few years older.

I didnt say a word about the morality of it, schizo. I simply said that was not a teenage girl by any stretch. Whats with the obsession to infantilize characters nowadays?

Having a meldown for no reason I see. Cant say I'm surprised from this cesspit of a site
Kratos killed many innocents for the lulz. He was so angry and ruthless he says something like "let the mortals suffer and die" when ghost Athena tells him that the world is getting BTFO because of his acting like an angry moron
That's because it's not just a beard, they completely altered his facial proportions.
It used to be that his most neutral expression was still stern sourpuss and he only got angerier from there.
I genuinely think it would look better if they've kept it the way it was, and it just went into the bear. Since the start of the bear matches the shape of the end of the tattoo anyway
Friendly reminder this guy survived a direct attack from Zeus, also the spartans getting genocided and later made it almost to the sisters of fate ALL while being just a mortal spartan soldier with no magic powers or anything
I would really love it if Santa Monica would just make another straightforward action game but with the same production values as their latest God of War games.
I loved those first five games but am just not interested in the whole cinematic, over-the-shoulder thing. I would be down for the whole sad dad thing if it were fun to play on top of being very pretty.
Santa Monica wasted such an amazing opportunity on "cinematic," over-the-shoulder crap. Original God of War style but against the Norse mythology could've been kino.
I have a fan fic in my head that the next GoW trilogy will be the final Kratos one where each game is set in a different area.
Game 1 is Kratos going back to Greece to basically try and atone for his sins now that he is a more "responsible" God of War. There he'd encounter the Romans which would lead him on a journey to discover why the Roman gods or so similar to the Greek gods.
Game 2 would be set in Egypt where he's encountering all the egyptian gods and shit.
Game 3 would tie everything together. Maybe he goes to Mesopotamia/The Middle-East and encounters gods that are no longer worshipped before returning to Rome and discovering the big reveal (i.e one of the Greek gods somehow survived and went on to create the Roman pantheon).
Then there could be a new American series. Have some Aztec God of War fighting throughout South America before moving to North America. Could have a nice crossover with the Norse world from when the vikings came to America.
>Things are utterly fricked. >Everything ends perfectly fine due to the power of talking and friendship.
Ragnarok's plot really unfurls like a bad fanfiction.
At this point I expect they'll just give Sindri a hug in the next one to make him not mad.
he completely lost that sharpness in his eyes
>ages 1000 years
>different
OH NOES!
>literally the entire point of the first game is that he's mellowed out and become weaker due to no longer needing to rampage through Olympus to take revenge on those who have wronged him
>the Norse gods dragged him back into the ring and forced him to re-embrace his strength
>there's literally an entire, long, drawn out scene of Kratos reclaiming the Blades of Chaos and giving in to his anger (Spartan Rage)
still kinda salty they didn't use GoW3 music when he picks up the blades
>OMG he doesn't look young anymore from aging! What a downgrade!
You too will age, OP.
And? It still looks like shit. Being old sucks, it will suck when I am old too. No shit “we’ll all age too” moron.
Old Kratos has Black personish features. New Kratos looks Nordic. New is unironically better
He’s weak as hell compared to what he used to be.
This is what fatherhood does to a man, take the blackpill(go out of cigarettes and milk) and don't turn back.
>go out of
go out for****
You know he was already a fricking father in the original trilogy right?
He didn't play the games. Just got a PS4 and played GoW and thought that's the first onedesu. He's weak or is he wise/apathetic???
You can still be strong AND apathetic.
>still massacred another pantheon despite previously destroying the source of most of his godly powers
He's not weak, he just has a greater burden. Gods are much weaker when they aren't on their homelands and his homeland was literally destroyed.
>massacred another pantheon
He killed Heimdall, Baldur and his sons at most, and he had a lot of help
the game literally says that all his powers he got from Greece except for his own demi-god strength is gone.
he's weak and pathetic now
moron, they slowed the game to make the hits chunkier, but the lead devs and producers said Kratos is actually stronger in 4 than he is in 3 he just holds back a whole lot more.
Ah yes, Nordic features - exactly what one expects of ancient Greeks!
How does he have Black features, he is 100% european mediterranean
>Old Kratos has Black personish features. New Kratos looks Nordic. New is unironically better
lol, you'll define yourself as anti-black until the only thing you are is a 2d white triangle
Kratos is greek, moron.
So he turned into a subhuman snowBlack person?
Makes sense, Greeks are basically black.
>Nordic.
Left looks manly, right looks israeli
Left is Chad right is beta
oh ye of little faith
>Looks more mature and manly because of the beard a thing design by God or evolution to clearly point out the males
> omg so cringe what a downgrade
Either OP can't grow facial hair or he is just an effeminate man aka a huge fricking homosexual
There he is despite irl over 60% of strong handsome men have beards and most women find them more attractive too
roasties do
Kratos in GOW1 wasnt even that angry or revenge fueled he was just tired and depressed. Killing ares was just a bonus to what he really wanted
They're the same image.
t. can't grow a beard
t. weak chin
>different age
>different era
>actors I'm assuming vs people pissing around
>cherrypicking
>people pissing around
one of those is an actor
those aren't good beards and secondly the men on the left would also look handsome with some facial hair, beards are only bad when they are used on homosexuals compensating for something, Kratos is not a jawlet so it's fine
stubble chads stay winning
> alcoholic wife beaters with a coke addiction
> literal virgin monks who would play video games all day instead of cheat or beat you
you choose, homosexual
alcoholic wife beater with coke addiction
actors vs random nerds. woah the actors look so much better
But nobody on the right has a beard.
.
Still boggles my mind that for a brief era men looked 30 by 20 and were hyper masculine. But then you look at paintings of men from the past and they didn't look anywhere nearly as manly.
Was it really cigarettes?
Hiding your weak facial features and chubby jaw with facial hair is not a personality trait.
Being furiously angry at people that can grow facial hair is not a personality trait.
Beards are for lazy fat guys, and gays.
Kratos has what we call the the bald-cope square-millennial onions-beard of sorrow. He is not cool, he looks a like a homosexual.
only chinlets and soigays prefer the beard
Did his tattoo shrink
His whole body shrunk senpai
Tomar look, it's you.
They always talk about how Kratos is now mature and he regrets being angry, but I don't remember even one occasion where his anger is not justified. He threw an teenage girl into a meat grinder to open a gate
Are you talking about Poseidon's wife in GoW3? Because that was certainly not a teenager
It was Poseidon's princess, not his wife, most likely some kind of sex slave. but do please explain how it would be totally cool to meatgrinder her if she were a few years older.

when the final product looks and plays WORSE than the demo, you know you fricked up
>mindbreaks Ganker
He looks strange with the goatee
That's because it's not just a beard, they completely altered his facial proportions.
It used to be that his most neutral expression was still stern sourpuss and he only got angerier from there.
Yes, it is.
Beardlet cope. Not our fault you have shitty genes.
Post beard
I don't need a beard to hide my face
Can someone ps Young Kratos eyes on the old Kratos? I bet that can fix mostly of it
The newer GoW games suck, and no amount of arguing will change that.
>The newer GoW games suck, and no amount of arguing will change that.
Agreed, I did not like the direction the reboot went.
Remove the annoying ass kid and I might try them
nu-god of war is awful, the original formula was amazing
Only thing that looks different now is the lips.
thats not how aging works...
As if aging affected him as it affects normal people. If anything he should look younger, judging by how the other Olympian Gods looked.
he still looks like a homosexual, the beard has to go.
What's funnier is the idea that old kratos actually manicured himself
Today I will remind them
Virgin Cosplayer vs Chad Roleplayer
Brutal
The virgin natty vs the CHAD roider
>the beard on the old kratos actually looks good
Huh, I guess it has to be curvy
don't think I could show myself in a camera after this brutal mogging.
>Liefeld Kratos
The ugliest cope known to man thinking a beard substitues hair.
Why do you spend so much time concerning yourself with how other men look?
What's wrong, gayboy
>Shit
>Shit with a beard
It always bothered me that his tattoo was so obviously shrunk in the norse design. The frick happened there?
The sóyboy designers considered the """manly""" beard was more important that the iconic red tattoo
It's a design compromise so you could see the whole tattoo.
I genuinely think it would look better if they've kept it the way it was, and it just went into the bear. Since the start of the bear matches the shape of the end of the tattoo anyway
THE FRICK HAPPENED THERE?!?!
Friendly reminder this guy survived a direct attack from Zeus, also the spartans getting genocided and later made it almost to the sisters of fate ALL while being just a mortal spartan soldier with no magic powers or anything
He also kept Kratos's old shield and spear safe and in good condition. Felt bad when he died.
I always assumed this is who Kratos named his son after.
Pray the next GoW saga goes back to the original formula
im not buying your game
I'm buying your game.
>beardcels cope itt
He looks soi and non-threatening on the right
>softer eyebrows
>softer tattoo
>massive cope beard
Truly, a modern day tragedy
I miss the build that ran on Ebony
I miss when Nomura was in charge, it had promise
the build that was shown in early 2011 is Kino
?t=164
>from i'm going to kill praxis to thousand cuck stare
even his blood tattoo got smaller, lol
I've had people tell me I look like nu-Kratos.
He looks badass with the full beard. He looks like a homosexual on the left with the pale skin and shaved face.
Santa Monica wasted such an amazing opportunity on "cinematic," over-the-shoulder crap. Original God of War style but against the Norse mythology could've been kino.
kek
nice
sorry I am loyal to Teal'c
Kratos should've been Black
He got the lightskin stare in the first image
