Five Nights at Freddy's is made by a conservative, Christian Republican. It gets a pass.
There's a point where that feels like it was the case with FNAF, but it was organic at least in the very beginning. The fact that this game came out with high production bullshit, a store with the characters in the game, and an attempt at NFTs all makes its success feel very forced.
Banban was even more astroturfed, though not by much. Same arc from a crude, mocked cashgrab to a beloved indie series.

Artists have always been lefty and gay; art is about feelings and that's also what those two categories are about.
