Armani has a consistent design style and doesn't pander to the leftoid trends, actual history and craft, Gucci has been sold to burgers like some other fashion houses, those will never be the same again, total meme like Moschino, it's better being absorbed by the French brands at this point.

The prices comes from the limited ammount of produced pieces, the fabric, the work spent on them and the cost of hosting catwalks, sustaining the boutiques, advertising.

This is not true. The crazy markups are purely a consequence of brand value. There is no "covering costs" of anything -- That's how these huge LVMH companies make their fortune
