I remember thinking both jack and miranda looked like boring obnoxious bench warmers in all the prerelease stuff but I ended up liking them both the most. On the flip side I was very excited that they were gonna let me romance garrus but then it was pretty underwhelming and I felt like you ran out of dialog with him like halfway thru the game and he just runs calibrations from then on. I remember thinking me2 was kind of lame after my first and only playthrough, but somehow, 14 years later I still remember a lot of stuff from it. Never played 3 because I didn't like the direction the gameplay was headed from 1 to 2 and 3 was looking like more of that.
I was really obsessed with this shit in high school though. That was also back when this board was good and people were constantly making dumb OC for the games they liked. I still have a bunch of stuff saved for games like mass effect and left for dead.
