What is there to remake about the game?
The answer is NOTHING.
They aren't going to actually give the game a proper remake. They will upscale some texture, swap a color filter, maybe remove black bars for ultrawide natively without needing to download a community made patch, but that's it.
Anything they will do for this "remake" can be done with a simple patch or as a downloadable content if they released some placebo 4k texture pack. But noooooo...!
They will make a remake which gullible morons will eat up immediately because they don't have the mental capacity to comprehend the company is selling them a PATCH for at least a several dozen dollars if not at the full price.

Not just that, we very clearly had some sort of Ubisoft employees randomly dumping screenshots just for fun at times. Remember Syndicate and I think it was Unity's threads where we got a bunch of screenshots out of nowhere?
I remember one of Assassin's Creeds getting completely random sticky as well for announcement.
I think that was Valhalla. I know some Ubisoft employee dumped a bunch of Odyssey merch pictures or something here and it took people a day or two to realize those were leaks. Origins also had a plethora of screenshots leaked here by an employee and it took Kotaku I think more than a day to pick up on that.

Remember when the plot to Assassins Creed was actually going somewhere? Following the assassins in Desmond's lineage into modern times and each game taught Desmond more about himself and he gained more assassin abilities by reliving his ancestors lives.

I don't want to hate, but every new "remake" just makes me hate things harder. It's just selling the same game over and over again. Ironically even Todd seems like he did more than nothing with his constant Skyrim re-selling.
