just finished all the endings of black souls, why does everyone praise this game ? seemed pretty mid to me. the game was entertaining for the most part but the last 3~5 hours were boring and unexciting both gameplay and story wise.

Yes bs1 has some neat and cool bits but also has a few eh things, BS2 is legitimately and fully a great game with better designed combat and a pretty big step up in art

at the beginning there was alot of mystery and intrigue but towards the end everything became obvious and the stakes were slowly lowering making me care less and less by the minute. by the time i reached the section where you write the name of mary sue, i became straight up bored and detached.
maybe it's because stories about le god and meta shit like grimm being the author and all the characters being from books makes me take it less seriously or something ? idk i just was disinterested for the whole of the 3rd half
