Just completed ending H, and want to get some confirmations: What are Gerda and Carnacki? They're not great ones, right? Who's Lingerina's sister? The one who killed Grimm after you rape Lingerina, does she show up at all? What's up with Sister Alice (Jub Jub) holding back Jabberwock and Bander at the end? Didn't Jabberwork have some sort of power to hold them back like in ending G, and she's also one of the masterminds, why did she let Grimm get out of there at that moment if she's so strong? Mabel, Node and Prickett are going to be fine right? Red Hood didn't die at the end right, she's just sleeping, isn't she? H-Haha...
>What are Gerda and Carnacki? They're not great ones, right? Gerda is main character of the fairy tale The Snow Queen, written by Hans Christian Andersen, who is almost certainly a part of Grimm. As for Carnacki, also known as Thomas Carnacki, he is the main character of Carnacki, the Ghost-Finder, a series of books written by William Hope Hodgson. They are most certainly not Great Ones.
>Who's Lingerina's sister? The one who killed Grimm after you rape Lingerina, does she show up at all? Victoria, you get special dialogue if you have a covenant with her, aft'er defeating Lingerina, just like you get special dialogue with Victoria after the fight.
>What's up with Sister Alice (Jub Jub) holding back Jabberwock and Bander at the end?
As Jabberwock pointed out in G, their souls become Grey, implying that interaction with you/Grimm ironically made them better person, genuinely made them fall in love with you, but also made Jub Jub realize that for the sake of everyone, the show must end. Jabberwock seemingly didn't had power over them, it was just a sneak attack.
Plus Grimm killed and absorbed GG, at this point, only Nyarly can stop him, until BS3 that is.
>Mabel, Node and Prickett are going to be fine right? Red Hood didn't die at the end right, she's just sleeping, isn't she? H-Haha...
Mabel is dead, but she's also fine as she is but an aspect/avatar of Yog Shoggoth, and per the dev's own words, Grimm trying to save her, she/Yog might have changed her mind about relationships between human and Black personmen.
Node is last seen with Dinah fighting an army of Crawling Girls, she COULD survive, after all, Red Hood did, but it doesn't look so good for her.
Prickett is a part of The Crawling Girls, so it's unlikely she will be able to get out, at least she is alive, just away.
Yes Anon. She mention two sisters. If you have a covenant with Victoria, she Lingerina or whatever say that 'you are Victoria's' or whatever. And when you speak to Victoria, she talk about her sisters.
One doesn't stop the other.

I think the OG anon meant the third sister, the one you ‘meet’ if you rape her.
Red Hood is unfortunately dead, Leaf said it in G, she was "programmed" to die at 20. But there's implications that Grimm might make her come back with the power of GG in the future, with or without her book. (remember the book sound at the very end)
>(remember the book sound at the very end)
The idea that Grimm just saw her die and then turn into a book like that is even more depressing than usual.
It didn't really had e-girls in BS1, just flatchests. It's in 2 that it became a thing, but it's rare and there's still flatchests in the lot. The problem with having your brain fricked with I suppose
Iirc there's like 5 characters that are e-girls in 2? ( Alice, Chick, Lorina, Gerda, some of the Liddells, maybe Kuti and the oyster girl, but thoses are hard to pinpoint. ) >Leaf & Red Hood
They're not fricking e-girls, just flat.
>Kuti >maybe
Kuti straight up has the proportions of a toddler. Her scenes are the only ones I have a really hard time sitting through alongside for Daughter Alice and Golden Goose
I find it genuinely hard to tell, because unlike most girls, she not human looking and her proportions are kind of wrong in some places, tiny arms that you could find from a child, but somehow a large chest than found in an actual child (not the boobs) meanwhile, she almost look like a chimera, tentacles aside, wich I guess make sense? Meanwhile, the oyster is a mass of jelly. I'm happy to see I'm not the only trying to skip the e-girls. Personally I like the Kuti ones, they are romantic as FRICK, and she genuinely feel like a princess (which she is), it tickle my childhood.
>Play black souls 1 and 2 >Love it >Grimm the schizo is my favorite character >Read Fire Punch after black souls >Wtf, Agni the protag is a mentally ill schizo and obsessed with a woman just like Grimm >My favorite character in the manga >Play Silent Hill 2 >Wtf, James the protag is a mentally Ill schizo, obsessed with a woman and ALSO my favorite character in the game

Red Hood really is the Proto-Grimm if she is gonna have to kill that.
Wait, Red Hood is WORKING with them? What the hell? >Most of the CGs will be story CGs and CGs for killing actions.
Hot. >"You will have your chance to be reborn." >Additionally, we plan to add a honeymoon scene with the Black Souls protagonist.
Awwwwwww. I smell a trap.
So, I expect either Baphy is still dead, the skull is just decoration and Lindamea is using it to push his autism. Or she's still alive in a way, but it would be weird to see Lindamea still being under her if that was the case. Judging by the name of the town, I half expect it to be either a Garden, hell or both.
You are beautiful lad, have a good one.

As opposed to just killing or robbery? I don't know. Plus it's a stealth game with a very low difficulty level. Plus she's not Grimm and it would be far-far harder for her to physically overpower someone and rape them. Definitely odd.

To be fair, Red Hood is pretty much a Prototype of Grimm.
So when does Dead Red Hood take place?
No one knows, that's the biggest mystery..Personally, I think it's after because it make no sense for her to wotk with them, but it would explain why in one of her talk, she talk about killing tto much people like Grimm; or why Lindamea want to kill her in DLC3.
Or maybe the killing too much people IS in Dead Red Hood.

I think people overestimate Red. She doesn't seem all that powerful. RHW was a story specifically written for Red, intended to get her to the end so she could remember he trauma and murder her grandmother. She had to face some enemies, but Mary would never have let her die, since surviving would bring Red more suffering. She fights some scary looking enemies, but Mary could have made them as weak as needed for a university girl to get through.
She doesn't really do anything once Grimm comes into the picture. She's mostly discarded by Mary with Grimm being a more exciting toy. Red realizes out that something is wrong with the world but can't figure it out or do anything about it. She gets mauled by Grimm just like everyone else and doesn't seem much stronger than any of the other heroines you can fight. The only noteworthy thing is her not getting summoned or not responding to Mary's summons during end D. We don't even know if Mary actually wanted to kill her in that scene, since she clearly values Red more than the other heroines.
Then in BS2 she again just sneaks around, guided by Node and only survives because TCO literally does not give a single frick about anything happening in the garden, as long as nobody tries to take Grimm away from it.
Red's crowning achievement is blindisiding TCO during its masturbation session and mildly inconveniencing it.

I dunno, that’s a lot of doing, compared to any other character that’s not Grimm. Of course she’s weak compared to him, specially BS2 Grimm. But she gets a lot of shit done and is involved in a lot of important shit considering the tools at her disposal.

Hi, what is Black Souls about? I don't really understand, never played an rpgmaker game but I assume it's like any other jrpg out there such as Dragon quest. But what's the "soul" of Black Souls? I heard it's like a souls game

Alice.
It's kind of like Souls games, in that there's a heavy focus on lore, but it also has a solid cast of characters and a crazy story on top of that. It reminds me of the Drakengard series in that regard
Lots of literary references
Looks unironically exciting. I love when games mix up stuff from different pieces of art and entertainement. To see Pinocchio, Jeanne D'Arc, Alice in wonderland, and Alladin in the same game seems to be something very unique. I'm intrigued. I guessed it's a porn game alright, I suppose it's not on steam right?
Yeah, it's sold on DLSite instead. You can also get it here, I'm a big proponent of "try it before you buy it"
https://pastebin.com/UHv597QH
You'll like this one, the pic I sent lists only BS1 references, and even then it's incomplete. BS2 ups the references a lot, including relatively obscure works and references to real-life history
Porn is quite possibly the weakest link, the art is extremely amateurish in BS1
Also note that it has a rather slow start, the story really starts to pick up in ending C - though I enjoyed myself even before that, I really like the atmosphere and exploration
>To see Pinocchio, Jeanne D'Arc, Alice in wonderland, and Alladin in the same game
Kingdom Hearts also has all of those except Jeanne so you might like that series too.
I've only played the first one, it plays like the old Dragon Quest games, but has some Dark Souls inspired mechanics.
The story's got heavy ties to old fairy tales from Grimm, Andersen, and Carroll, but in the darkest interpretation of said fairy tales.

It's an open world dark fantasy RPG that puts emphasis on one's tactics and equipment choices above grinding (though grinding is an option to the point of ridiculousness, the series gives you stat-up items hand over fist). Contains a slew of references and tributes to classic European literature and folklore.
The Souls part comes in the form of being unable to truly die, manual leveling, and a host of unmarked quests centered around NPCs. The first game is janky af with shit art (but still very innovative and fun), but the second is a massive improvement in every single way. The art is still undeniably by Sushi but has greatly improved in quality while maintaining his rough sketchbook style.
>Choosing to be a prostitute, rape, or be raped is left entirely to the player >rape
It seems very out of character for Red to want to rape anyone.
I wouldn't say Red is a rapist but I wouldn't say she's above it either.
Anyway, obligatory map. Hopefully this is the latest until I decide to mark important things in DLC3 (not done it yet, grinding dem books)
Tortoise - at a bench in the forest, then at defused mines he will spawn where the trap hole is (you need to trigger it yourself iirc)
Hare - prison
After you met both of them go to the bridge on the left part of Elixir.
After 700 layers of Chaos Dungeon I am starting to not much care for it. And that I still haven't found two drops and one unique boss fights is starting to get to me.
Yeah, Leaf pretty much state that she piut her into gears, maybe GG's, and that she turned her head as it happened because she didn't like seeing someone with her face being crushed, maybr because she has a heart deep down- AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
But you never know, maybe she will appear, if Goaty can still be somehow alive....
That's gonna be an awkward reunion >*where is red I'm building a team* >*she's a book* >*what* >*she died and become a book* >*what
Makes you wonder how he would have the power to rez her from that.
>makes the ending of 2 a lot weaker We all know that it's a possibility that Red Hood could come back via Grimm using GG's powers..
Lindamea is actually a big part of why I think it's before two. He refers to her with some familiarity but there are no interactions between the two in the first game. That and if Grimm did bring her back what the frick would she be doing with someone with an eternal grudge against him
Doesn't Red admit she wants your child in one of her CGs? That's a pretty big reason if it is
That's literally my point. Red loves Grimm and Lindamea wants him dead. Why would she work with Lindamea post-2.
Anonymous
and why she would want that pre-2? he wanted to kill them even before
i think she wants to cleanse her sins or that lindamea forced her to do that

Because it was a different circumstance. If it's post 2 than Grimm managed to revive her and then they got separated somehow and she fell in with Lindamea who both for some reason doesn't mind that she's Grimm's best fricking friend in the universe.
If its pre-2 than she left Grimm and the garden on her own accord and not long after that Grimm got shanghaied to Wonderland for god knows how long before she started getting involved, let's assume when the game starts which is 60 something cycles in. She had to have done something before all that. I mean, how did she even find Wonderland in the first place.
Also, it's safe to assume that the Lindamea past the first game is from the cycle-breaking Ending D. This would mean from his perspective Grimm and Red never even lived together so they weren't that close.
There's just more less justifications that need to be made if takes place before, not after.

He postponed it because he literally couldn't kill Grimm.
Here's another thing, if an when Grimm does bring her back it's gonna be a big fricking deal. I don't see it happening either A: Off screen or B: In a side-project. And even if it does happen in DHR I cannot wrap my head around how Grimm would let Lindamea of all people taking her away from him.

Because Lindamea is a self righteous prick.
What's interesting is if that's after 2, it mean he has a Garden as a base of operation.

nah i more on post-bs2 here
only thing that threw me off from post-bs2 theory is that Lindamea doesn't have tentacles he had in dlc3
That's what I was thinking too considering Red 20 happened at the end of 2 and giving her a chance to "be reborn" or something makes the ending of 2 a lot weaker. Also Lindamea seems to be familiar with Red when we encounter him in DLC 3 which I assume would only be possible if he knew her from the black trial. I also wonder if we'll see what goes on with Poro since we never really see what happens to him in BS2
Most likely, they're the progenitors of the character of Mary Ann, the handmaid of the white rabbit, rather than the actual mom and dad of the green menace that we know and love
>You could interpret it that way but that is what it says. Yes but not really.
The item specifically says "Mary Ann" which is the role she was given in Wonderland.
https://aliceinwonderland.fandom.com/wiki/Mary_Ann
To say that the Slave Empress is the mother of Mary Ann is not to say that she's Leaf's mother.
I think it's important to clarify thise, or you'd have newbies thinking that she is indeed Shub-Niggurath i.e. Leaf's actual mother, even though there is not a single reason to believe that's the case, at least as far as I can think.
What's up with Red and Leaf in the reverse route? Red say something among the lines of "you know, you are friend with this thing?" implying she doesn't recognize her which confuses me.
The Red Hood we get is from her own ending, so it would imply that between 1 and 2, she discovered Leaf was a Black personman and Mary Sue/Mary Ann, but she seems to genuinely not know her.
Incidentally, Red Hood mention "saving our friends". But how would she do that?
>"Faces in the Fire" is a poem written by Lewis Carroll. In this poem, Carroll looks back towards a lost love who is already a mature woman. Sometimes this poem is used in reference to Carroll's love of Alice Liddell, but she was just a young girl when it was written thus she couldn't be the mature woman.
>You mean in the section of the game where Lewis doesn't know things and act willfully ignorant? At bare minimum he is shown to have memory of his life as a teacher, as a writer and his time with the Liddells. I seriously don't think it's his.
The whole VN is just TCO trying to keep Lewis Carroll. To me, Lewis can't recognize the woman in the picture because of TCO screwing up with his mind exactly like they've been doing for +65 cycles.
>TCO We know the VN is one of the dinner shows that GG is putting on though, TCO is secondary to all of the events that go on in it. Going off the radio recordings, it was a recreation of the torture Mary put Lewis through to break his soul.
Ah, the same old argument that cannot end with "it can be both".
Anonymous
Actually, it can't be both in this case.
Mabel implies that DLC3 is happening before TCO finds out the door she put up in Carroll River. >"c[2]You've only a few yards to go.c[0]! > I've interfered a little too much. > Let's finish this before the Crawling One > discovers the door."

You're right, it can't be both since we know it's just one party.
The title 'dead rex hood' implies somewhat either the death of red in the game, or red being undead. For this reason i reckon the game is set after bs2 as it makes little sense for either of these events to take place in the middle of the current continuation.
I think thats somewhat unlikely but definately possible as in bs1 red in her canon ending set out to find and kill what she understood to be the villain behind everything or as she later learned TCO, it seems uncharacteristic for her to abandon this quest to follow a side adventure within the black trial, especially if prior to it she had gained knowledge of her lifespan putting a timer on her efforts to kill TCO.
I mean Lindamea will probably force her into it. She's already a sinner and when Lindamea shows up saying "yo come help us or i will murder the shit out your sinful ass" you can't exactly say no.
Is red hood a sinner though? What sins has she committed that we know of? Throughout the games she has only canonically killed in self defense and possibly prostituted herself? To grimm and or a dying knight. Besides that she has in current canon only killed and fought sinners, outer gods and possibly sided with Grimm to kill innocents in bs1. Really we cant say conclusively that Red has committed any sin besides an affection to Grimm and Lindamea, although a devout rival of Grimms, probably respects him and his code enough to not have Red for it.
I believe Red talks briefly about the taint on her soul and compares it to Grimm's, there's a pretty safe assumption that whatever happened between BS1 and BS2 did a lot of damage to the purity of her soul.
Isn't it implied that the Black Trial isn't so much farming for sinners, but for Black Souls?

It is, all the "judgement" larp is secondary. Baphomet cared only for the black souls.

It is, all the "judgement" larp is secondary. Baphomet cared only for the black souls.
That's the true goal in BS1, yes. Baphomet wants black souls to become strong enough to break free from Mary's garden or at least call for help. Hein, Miranda and to a lesser extent, the fourth guy also seem to only do it for the souls. They're all gone by DRH though and the new Black Trial was formed by Lindamea, who actually does care about punishing sinners, so the new Trial will probably be closer to the original purpose. The character introduction seems to imply some sort of Baphomet is leading the new Black Trial, but we don't know if it's still Shub-Niggurath.
I finally did it. After 790 layers of the Chaos Dungeon I found all the spells I was looking for. Now if only I could find Shub boss fight I will be done and can go do the remaining endings and dlc3.
Yes. You're supposed to fight him with Griffy. I don't remember exactly, but I think you have to talk to Griffy at the bridge, at Bill and in the castle, in that order to have her send you to the fox so you can fight him together.
You can try doing this now, but event chains in this game are really fragile so it might not work.
Yeah, Griffy only sits on the bridge at the start of the game. Once you light a few torches she disappears, along with a few other early game triggers. Without the start of her chain she's pretty much gone from your current playthrough.

No. Leaf's voice would be soft and feel like kisses for your ears.
Reds voice would be dull and boring! Like she is!
Feel like Leaf's voice would be pleasant on the ears until she gets too loud. Kinda like Aqua or something. Red's definitely a lower monotone for the most part.
So I just killed Blackwell, but I can't find the letter to Florence. I got it my previous playthrough but didn't give it to her. Did I mess up? Or does it only spawn at the church AFTER entering the 3rd DLC?
She's supposed to leave the letter near the cathedral bonfire after she goes to Bill. Are you sure you don't have the letter already or didn't kill her before that?
never mind, got it So apparently, you need to go to the basement, open the gate to the altar, but avoid Blackwell who walks in.
She's supposed to leave the letter near the cathedral bonfire after she goes to Bill. Are you sure you don't have the letter already or didn't kill her before that?
So I heard that Victoria has a covenant in BS2 as well? How do you get it? I heard you're supposed to lose to her in the mini game, but how do I even do that?
>Many bosses can be all but utterly castrated just by nuking them with Mana Flare

Got ending H yesterday and holy frick this game is amazing, but I have so many questions now aswell Who was it that (presumably) freed Leaf from her dungeon? Talking about the cutscene you view inside the teddy bear, with someone smiling at her. What was the point of the Cheshire Cat, aside from the standard ending where she tries to "protect" you by not letting you get to "Alice". I think I'm getting this right, but Prickett is the original Alice that died in BS1, except reincarnated, correct? Is she also the Alice we see at ending H? I don't fricking understand what the Grand Guignol is, I recall Node saying something about the time stopping once I killed it and the art seems to be the entire Alice in Wonderland book, is defeating it just Grimm destroying that world?
>Who was it that (presumably) freed Leaf from her dungeon? Talking about the cutscene you view inside the teddy bear, with someone smiling at her.
Think of someone who smiles a lot, anon. >I think I'm getting this right, but Prickett is the original Alice that died in BS1, except reincarnated, correct? Is she also the Alice we see at ending H? She's part of the main "Alice", at least. >I don't fricking understand what the Grand Guignol is, I recall Node saying something about the time stopping once I killed it and the art seems to be the entire Alice in Wonderland book, is defeating it just Grimm destroying that world? Every play has a stage.
Didn't understand it the first time since I didn't know about GG, is the Red Queen meant to be Lorina? I wasn't aware that she played that big of a role in the story. I know the White Queen is Node
Who was it that (presumably) freed Leaf from her dungeon? Talking about the cutscene you view inside the teddy bear, with someone smiling at her.
That was probably Jabber. She's been fricking shit up since the very beginning What was the point of the Cheshire Cat, aside from the standard ending where she tries to "protect" you by not letting you get to "Alice"
She's a reference to Alice in Wonderland's Cheshire Cat, who is a symbol of Dinah - Alice's cat. There's also her dialogue, presented below
>I died not long after giving birth. So the only Alice I remember is a little girl. >Still an innocent little girl, unchanged from those days. I know the warmth of her hand very well. A single brush of it against my fur would remind me that I'm a prided pet cat. >You aren't the only one eager to meet Alice. It's a shame. I really am sorry. Dreams and lies are no different to me.
Post-G kot. >The Cheshire Cat, and not the Cheshire Cat. Dinah, and not Dinah. I'm everywhere, and nowhere. >It's not the Cheshire Cat's fault, meow~. The rabbit saved me, and so I was just repaying the favor~. >The role was to be the beast that tears you from the fake Alice. As is to be expected, it wasn't a pleasant one. >Many Cheshire Cats killed Alice's imitations, and some nine were killed by curiosity too many times to count, meow. >One thing's for sure, however. Even now the Cheshire Cat is seeing the dream of dear Alice. >Even if her purity and innocence have vanished, Alice is still Alice. The cat's eyes are the eyes that see Alice.
She was originally a cat of the real, pre-TCO Alice. Her overt role, assigned to her by The Crawling One, is to be a beast that tears you apart from Alice. Her covert role, assigned to her by Node, is to guide you towards the truth. Her personal goal is probably related to her owner, Alice, but I'll need to think about it more
Grand Guignol is a new, artificial Great One, created by tearing Mary Sue's Ability to Change out of her. It was done by White Queen (Node) and Red Queen (either Prickett or the Old King)
Its purpose is to keep Grimm chained at all cost to TCO's Garden, at least on the surface - this is what happens in ending G. After escaping, you're yoinked right back into Wonderland by Grand Guignol through time travel frickery. See
I think she's dead. I'm pretty the fourth text box from from the left is referring to her.
Additionally, grinding of the gears symbolises the involvement of GG throughout the entirety of BS2. It's involved during time travel (as when you travel to Winterbell) and brainwashing. It keeps your SEN high to ensure you do not go mad from the eldritch frickery going on
Bells, by the way, symbolise the general involvement of Great Ones without any "censorship" (aka SEN) to stop you from going mad. Note that whenever something big is going down - like in the final flame memory, where Great Ones appear in the real world - bells appear
>Red Queen (either Prickett or the Old King)
first red queen was killed before bs1, it couldn't possibly be her, also old king being red queen is a headcanon
To understand Prickett, you need to go way back in the timeline, to the very beginning of it all (only Jabber's corruption of Leaf happens earlier in the timeline)
After both Alice Hargreaves (Alice Liddell) and Charles Dodgson (Lewis Carroll) make a wish to Great Ones, one of them appears, takes Lewis away and places him in its Garden to fulfil the wish - it was The Crawling One. It can be inferred from the fact that its moniker in the game is "the selfish god" and from the fact that it, well, crawls
After this, the Tea Party happens. You can find more information about it from Prickett's date, go see a movie. Her tears at the end indicate that she was an active participant in the Tea Party
If you additionally see her at 0 SEN on a fresh playthrough (she momentarily appears as Alice), go through the haunted maze and listen to her teddy bear story, you'll realise that she was, in fact, the Alice in the Tea Party - but she's also a fragment of TCO. A sort of separate entity with autonomy and her own feelings, but still a part of the collective
Now, regarding ending H - the condition for Alice to save you from the Hell ending is to have Prickett's Ring. This clearly indicates that the one who saves you in ending H is Prickett, aka BS1 Alice
>one of them appears, takes Lewis away and places him in its Garden to fulfil the wish - it was The Crawling One. It can be inferred from the fact that its moniker in the game is "the selfish god" and from the fact that it, well, crawls
You forgot to mention Leaf. Leaf tried to kidnap him, and TCO/Alice/Prickett saved him by sending him to her garden.
>Who was it that (presumably) freed Leaf from her dungeon? Jabber. >What was the point of the Cheshire Cat, aside from the standard ending where she tries to "protect" you by not letting you get to "Alice". Functions as Node's proxy, serves her because Node saved Dinah's life at an unspecified point in the past. Node uses her to inform you and guide you to Alice (true) and to get out of the garden. >I think I'm getting this right, but Prickett is the original Alice that died in BS1, except reincarnated, correct? Is she also the Alice we see at ending H? Yeah, Prickett's the Alice from the original tea party, the start of BS1, and the one you see in H. Try talking to her at 0 SEN on a new cycle, might want to save beforehand since it's fast though. Similarly, save and fight her at 0 SEN until she rolls a 6. >I don't fricking understand what the Grand Guignol is The short version is that GG's an artifical Black personman made from Mary Sue's Power to Change that was stripped from her by Node and Prickett post-BS1 D. It's mainly used by TCO to directly frick with your mind (hence the gear sounds and motifs everywhere, that's its influence) and was used to construct and keep Wonderland together.
I still think it is probably relavent that in the original Through the Looking Glass book Dinah is mother to both Red Queen and White Queen although how exactly EMMM adapted that aspect into the game I'm not certain about.

You cant use Dodo as a reference or anything at all that EMMM draws because even the Dodo scenes can be pretty fricked proportions wise. Pic related
Dodo is big, thats all there is to know.
Just got to what I assume is the endgame part of NPC Dreams, and oh boy one scene left me fricked up man, imagine grimm's endless cycles but without the blessing of getting his mind erased

Graphics folder shouldn't to be there I think. Hence, yours might be decrypted. Try to delete that folder and see if that works. Alternatively, decrypt Game.rgss3a and move the folders in there to the main folder then delete Game.rgss3a afterwards. Also, you can try using the one I uploaded too I suppose.

>bloodborne but more focused on hunter's dream that's been going on for too long rather than just one night stand with Black personmen.
I feel obligated to mention that it's kind of what happen in Black Souls 2. And Bloodborne isn't really supposed to end too soon or too late. Why? Because I'm a lorebawd.
I need help with the old king in the chaos dungeon. How do I deal with Zex Caliber, Break and Gun break won't stop it from charging and I read that the fight is glitched for some people. Am I just doing the fight wrong or will going to new game plus fix it?
Break stun is a status effect. It has a chance to fail if your LUK is too low. You can equip Mocky's Ladle before breaking to increase your LUK for a higher chance of getting it to stick.
Gonna let you in on a secret, anon. Different buffs stack in a multiplicative manner. Piling on a whole bunch and prepping OP attacks like Moonlight Rend and switching to weapons like the anchor or giant's sword yields fricking hilarious results, the DLC assumes you're going to do this.
I'm fairly certain the fight assumes you can defeat Old King before Zexcalibur.

Lots of characters use generic dialogue when at 0 sen, maybe he just has the oldest dialogue since he's probaly the first senspeech speaking character EMMM put in the game? He could have chosen to switch the generic dialogue to something less Alice related and forgot to update Jack, since I have no clue why Jack would know about TCO.
Why is it so misspelled? Is this the gay95 version or did rarecats forget? If it's the latter, maybe it's a special rare dialogue that only plays on loops after G?

Oi I remeber that he and the birb were there, but why? Dont want to go there again just for that.
Oh hello white Leaf help how do I play this game, the only two places I can go are a wall and a forest of bugs that oneshot me. If it's a black souls clone, where's the cheat rings?
interact with the left painting in the Orphanage (the hub basically) and type this さようなら (it's your 2xsouls drop rates stuff)leftmost side of the satrting zone, there should be a space leading up, go there
Also, do not use the special soul in the key items (I think it translates into lit. "half truth" or something), it deactivates enemy & boss encounters but cucks you from picking up or interacting with items or the world (besides npcs)don't use boss souls either, you'll get to a place where you can reclaim weapons from them
Ok, can someone explain me the story? Or atleast a summary of it? The wonky translation from textractor isn't doing me any favors As far as I know, the whole world we are in is based on a story created by children from the orphanage, the very same one we start in (?), starring Fetus (blue hair) and Squirrel (white hair), something or other went wrong and now the whole fricking world is headed towards destruction, also everytime you want to ahve sex with someone they freeze and stop responding, and any actions and wounds from then get reverted

So I just discovered that if you have covenanted Kuti, and that the bird does the birdening she flip out. But if you are at 0 SEN? You hear baby sounds
The implications are fun and not sad at all.
Not now they aren't me think.
I see what you mean, but they aren't at the baby stage anymore. So either she is giving birth, or she already gave birth.
Plus Kuti isn't in the lot of the children.
okay I just got killed by the old king like 20 times what the shit do I need to do? Evasion isnt working, stacking defense and shit doesnt work, Im doing great damage but I just get fricked by the black sword shit immediately...
I dont necessarily want to be spoonfed on this but I would appreciate getting pointed in the right direction for how Im meant to approach tis fight mostly using gear that gives bonus actions as well like black and white rabbit rings and Duchess pact and the mystery
If I recall he has an opening or early attack that is delayed guaranteed death if it hits. So evade his first attacks or it hits and then many moves later it activates and you die.
A couple of questions How do I get some bonus scene or dialogue with Miranda? How do I get Kuti to eventually have kids after selecting make kids? I heard Miranda and others show up in Ending G. How do I get them and do I do that action before the ending before I loop into G or at a later point? Are the 3 villain covenants (jub/band/jab) good or should I just kill them always?
>I heard Miranda and others show up in Ending G. How do I get them and do I do that action before the ending before I loop into G or at a later point? A secret passage at the beach leads to a cave, go there and beat the boss that appears >Are the 3 villain covenants (jub/band/jab) good or should I just kill them always? Bandersnatch is good, Jub is good for squeezing some extra evasion out, Jabberwock is outclassed by crit gear builds

EMMM is too based my God gonna be honest in saying im not that pumped for the 5 princesses and new red hood game idk why but prequel shit just turns me off but they will be smaller games so I'll probably still buy and play to show my support
Do Chaos Dungeon and get as many items and spells as you can. It's not a difficulty spike, it's a difficulty cliff.
>go there and beat the boss that appears Strange. I met Miranda and got her axe but when I did ending g she didn't show up. Is there an event order I need to do it by?
How do you get Griffy to enter the cave alongside you?
Are there consumable items that raise SEN? I got the idea of entering a fight with any unique 0 SEN monster then raising it mid battle to see what happens.
Are there consumable items that raise SEN? I got the idea of entering a fight with any unique 0 SEN monster then raising it mid battle to see what happens.
It has no effect, even against Red Beast. In fact, you can't even open the menu at that point
I meant in that crazy area during ending G where you fight all the characters in their monster form but then Jub Jub and sisters appear normally when you fight with Miranda and Hein.
Doesn't matter, I'm the kind of autist that MSpaints everything instead of using default assets and I can happily say Black Souls is a game greater than most.
>Beginning area
Use Guard instead of Dodge, Dodge regains its original potency once you get evasion items later on. If you mean in Lutwidge, go into the sewers (look for a wide flight of stairs) and look for the handgun, makes things a lot easier.
The start is extremely rough, try to explore, and kill the first boss, and level up after that, you can use the item that removes all your soul at the start to gain access to an area without killing yourself.
Break is not a free pass to stun an enemy, you'll be able to break certain foes depending on if they're guarding/have an orange buff icon from what I remember. It's also Luck based in part from what I remember, but that's not relevant to the start of the game.
Generally they get a buff that looks like a guy charging up. Slap them with a brreak an they get stunned. Or just get gun break and become an ungachad.
Reminder for the newbie that using healing items does not consume a turn in BS2. Only items that debuff or damage the enemy do, and even then there's a few expectations like scalpels.
I played through Lob Corp and Ruina since it seemed to have the same type of appreciation BS had, but after completing them, it was actually just kinda decent. Didn't wow me like BS did
There is no shizo lore you have to uncover, so it goes out of your mind pretty quickly. LC and LoR are pretty straightforward in that. If you dont know something about the lore after beating the game, probably no ones know that either. It just wasnt mentioned. Here you may be knowledgeable but never perfect as there IS something you dont know but some other people uncovered.
Mysterious BUT EXISTING (I mean not like ds where author admitted that he does not think too much when he puts shit in his games and he is amused that some autists try to make sense out of it) world is what gives this obscure hentai rpgm paint-tier game a spot at the top of /vrpg/ and oftenly even Ganker.
The story and lore are just one thing. I can't expect everything to be as vague yet interesting as BS stuff. Lobotomy Corp actually had me pretty interested with the abnormality logs and the interesting if not slightly annoying gameplay. It had me very interested and the story felt significant with all the talks of buckets and the city that we knew effectively nothing about. When I was done I was pretty hyped to do Ruina, but it kinda was a let down. The gameplay was fun at first, but it became incredibly tedious having to have the same card sets and really annoying boss fights. The story also kinda beats you on the head with exposition and concepts. It just kinda became boring .There are a lot of characters, but almost none of them felt interesting. It wasn't that bad, Lob Corp actually kinda scratched an itch I had from BS, but Ruina really left me flacid
I was interested in reading anomalies in LC at first, but I quickly realised that they mostly SCP-like in a bad sense - feels like you are cut off too early to care. Some anomalies even have like 2 paragraphs of text which is just not serious.
It WAY overstays its welcome. Doing memreps to get all melts going was not fun, considering you have to do it like 3-5 times at Hokma/Binah as you cant get to day 46 and you sometimes have to wait for a new mission to arrive.
I am not even talking about ng+ overstat farm.
Ruina is nice but again, end game is just tedious as you said.
I could at least forgive Lob corps frustrating gameplay as story-wise that is the point. It's supposed to be very difficult given that You've been doing this for a seemingly endless amount of times ending in failure. Ruina is just kinda lame in comparison and doesn't generate the hype I would get from beating a meltdown. An RPGmaker game is pretty simple, but in a game as well done as BS it can be very rewarding to get the right gear to beat certain bosses and have epic shit like the Lindamea fight and others with numerous phases
>Didn't wow me like BS did
Very few games do, even if they're solid and unique. That's what makes the few ones that do feel truly special. You can't expect every game that's hyped here to do so, it has a lot to do with individual taste and hype levels when going into them Symphonic Rain is one such game for me, shame it's rarely talked about

I feel the same way. Ruina is a solid game for sure, but LC feels closer to what BS has going for. I didn't particularly care for City lore, I'm more interested in what's going on outside of it and whacky mysticism
>That's what makes the few ones that do feel truly special
Very true, and everyone should do themselves a favour and stop expecting everything to be as truly great as the last great game they played, you'll just be setting yourself up for disappointment and nothing else.
>Symphonic Rain
what so special about it? i'm reading it now (final route) and it's pretty generic utsuge with obvious twins twist , maybe if it was my first vn i would have felt something but with 50+ vns i've read it's just okayish
50+ VNs here too
I loved the relatively "grounded", not overly dramatised feel to its prose. The atmosphere of the city felt simultaneously historical and magical. The way the gameplay was incorporated into the story, especially with its intentional repetition, was really well done. And I found Torta's character and story incredibly appealing
It's a melancholic drama that doesn't overplay its emotional scenes like Jap VNs tend to do. You have to go through it slowly, soak in its world and music - and realise that it's not really a tragedy that hits you like a truck, but rather a cold drizzle
That, and art is subjective. For the life of me I cannot understand why people like F/SN and Summer Pockets, for instance. Or L'Étranger
Because immediately beforehand Red's talking about hunting for the mastermind and lopping off their head, well TCO's that mastermind and you see what Red does in G.
> when it this form though? It's the 0 SEN encounter with RH there, I think it's the last thing in that conversation chain. He's not actually speaking with her either, more just shouting it from the bottom of the stairs after overhearing the conversation with you. >Still, why would he repeat those words?
The man's not an idiot. TCO's the one that brought him and Edith into the garden after answering their shared prayer and he clearly knows enough about it to call it by its given title in G (The Crawling Little Girls), he at least has a passing understanding of the cycles and knows that the night the game takes place over is constantly repeating, he seems to be able to smell the difference between "non-prostitutes" like Edith (read: humans) and "prostitutes" like the rabbit in the bar (read: Black personmen) and talks about the "prostitutes" endlessly breeding as well.
>Jack's autism about prostitutes wasn't actually about prostitutes, but actually a metaphor about your wife-daughters
Jesus my brain, it's still autism, but it's understandable if still rude. They're nice people I swear!
Still seeing him screaming about it, at the bottom of the stairs is weird.
Not them, but yeah I'm pretty sure that's why he's doing it.

But she doesn't look like her at all.

She must clearly look out of place since schizod up Grimm sees her as a monster. Jack probably sees her as someone like Grimm who can help deal with TCO so he might as well try to point at the big bad and hope it helps.
What happened to Alice Liddell in ending H?
I know her soul or whatever which was trapped in the white void was released alongside Lewis Carrol's during ending G, but that was CTRL + Zed by GG.
So what happened to her during ending H? For what I know TCO is still alive during this ending, which leads me to believe the garden is still up, and thus she is still trapped.
Even if you assume that G was entirely undone by GG, you still destroy the white rooms as part of the GG fight in H (Pure White Prison) so her soul should still be freed after everything is said and done.
It's a mystery. We don't even know if the Garden is truly gone, plus Grimm ask Heinrich to take care of his kids. For all we know, everything could be scattered across the cosmos.
You DO kill GG, and since GG is the one running the stage, so everything....
Plus all the phases of GG are a representation of something
>tfw keep explaining BS lore to my gf
holy shit.
Does that mean you and your girlfriend are based?
>We don't even know if the Garden is truly gone GG's destruction collapsed the garden, everything after the fight looks the same as you see in the reverse route, and you're told there that it's a result of the garden starting to collapse. That said, with TCO still alive it's quite possible that TCO can just remake it, but it almost certainly won't be on the same size or scale that BS2's Wonderland was since GG is no longer there to create and maintain spaces. >plus Grimm ask Heinrich to take care of his kids. Heinrich's survived the collapse of RHW and BS1's gardens already, and Hatta says a very odd line once you've reached GG, about how "fairy tales don't die, but live on in a place you know not".
If she, unironically enjoy hearing you talk about it, you got yourself a living treasure. So treasure it.
>Heinrich's survived the collapse of RHW and BS1 Heinrich is a very special boy: I don't get how the frick he survived all that shit with Leaf in there, or how he got in Winterbell
. >and Hatta says a very odd line once you've reached GG, about how "fairy tales don't die, but live on in a place you know not". Sometime, I wonder if the books aren't a part of that "world".
>or how he got in Winterbell From the sound of it, Grimm was there in Winterbell at some point before DLC 3. His first line to Grimm is something like "Welcome home, milord." isn't it? Wouldn't surprise me if Winterbell was a hub area for him in the past instead of the Library Dream, since Node being there at the Library Dream hasn't always been the case.
You think so? I thought the welcome home was "Wecome to the place where you will get godlike power, Mein Creator".
If it was a hub, chances are, we would have seen ourselves....And why did Heinrich decided to stay there?

>I thought the welcome home was "Wecome to the place where you will get godlike power, Mein Creator". That'd be a pretty fricking weird way to greet someone, but then again this is the game where you can tell everyone that you're going to Alice the first time you talk to them. I'd rather just take the line at face value though, Heinrich's pretty straightforward in BS1 and BS2. >If it was a hub, chances are, we would have seen ourselves We still have huge gaps in the timeline for BS2, both in terms of cycles and in terms of the actual garden timeline, hell DLC 3 added an entirely new Alice we've never seen or heard from. >And why did Heinrich decided to stay there? Given that your kids are there in Winterbell, he could be watching over them just like you ask him to just before the GG fight. He could also just be waiting for you to return, he's plenty loyal for that.

He only shown loyalty to Grimm in DLC3 though, he just seems like a really swell guy in general. It's curious that he wasn't like that toward Grimm in BS1.
DLC 3 as a whole takes place in the past, or at least before your normal cycle start point in BS2, but time is convoluted in Black Souls. Time and timeline paradoxes aren't all that uncommon, especially since they all seem to merge into one clusterfrick eventually.
i have a nice replica first edition alice adventures in wonderland and i keep it on my bed every day because of this game, am i autistic? also you should try reading it if you're into this game every line in the book is basically explicitly referenced and its really wacky. plus the edition i have has a foreward that goes in depth about alice liddel and her family and all of that interesting stuff
Anon figured it out in the end and translated it! Besides I don’t want to spoon-feed people the link.
I could be more evil about it next time if you want, anon.
To elaborate on this, ending C and D in the first game is impossible due to Leaf and Baphomet. Ending G is impossible due to Alice. Thus making it impossible to reach ending H
In the next Black Souls game, EMMM should instead give all enemies low stats, but have progression increase the difficulty so you're not relying on "Get this ridiculous weapon and then oneshot the boss" nonsense for SL1.
>loop once
Pick one: >difficulty resets and the gameplay becomes even more of a stomp than bs2 >difficulty keeps increasing forever, making exploration objectively a bad idea
You're virtually guaranteed to die to the final boss if you didn't figure out the shortest path on your first try. You also can't have designated lategame areas with deep lore like Queensland and the path to it since a new player can just randomly run there first and get spoiled.
Dunno, seems like an awful idea to me.
>pic
That's the story about the guy who created chess brought chess to a bored king, and as thanks, the guy asked for races for each cases, but for each cases, the ammount was doubled? It's was pretty fun.
This still introduces a problem - you have no idea where the player will go so you can't place any big plot twists out in the open, since it might ruin the story for someone who went there first.
Imagine being able to comfortably do a 0 SEN run or go to Winterbell on your first run. You "can" do it with a fresh character, but the game tries really hard to let you know that you REALLY should not be doing this yet and realistically any new player will just back out since they won't know how to beat the game on SL1, so if it messes up the story for you it's your own fault.
Even if it doesn't ruin the main story, it can cheapen certain events. For example, meeting Meryphilia and Victoria before doing Mental Ward. Currently, you're most likely to go to the Ward first, read about Dorothy to build hope and possibly get it smashed when you see her event. This makes meeting Meryphila and Victoria more of a pleasant surprise, ensuring you'll suffer more once you realize they aren't the people you know and all your friends are dead. If you meet the two (or Red) before seeing Dorothy's fate, the emotional impact is way weaker.
Of course all of this can be fixed by making the game linear or locking off areas related to the second layer of the story with keys like the University, but that would just be needlessly frustrating and ruin the exploration aspect any soulslike needs.
The problem of BS is that it has multiple places where you can go, but once you clear one of them you just stop all the others. Like 75% of bosses I fought against died in 1-2 turns.
I don't understand his complain.
The bosses and ennemies that are tough are literally a wall to say "Okay, you may not have the level for this, you should come back later, we're in a game where death isn't that big of a deal unless you are really stupid, so don't worry"
I just got ending g. Before I dive into dlc3 and leave the main area behind, are there any unique post ending g events to check out? Already did chaos dungeon.
No, you could talk to her even in the base game. She simply points you towards DLC3, she doesn't initiate it >easter eggs
Talk to the alien in the Lutwidge Town tavern
The later phases are goddamn horrorshows, it's best to have the setup to kill them ready to fire off right away or at least have something cascading from the previous phase. Good luck, and godspeed.
Is there any reason to pull the level in the insane asylum and trigger the nurses? Also am I supposed to fight these invading phantoms early on or should I wait? they keep destroying me
Some of the phantoms drop really good loot, but there's no other reason to fight any of them. If you keep dying to them just go hollow so they can't invade you.
>Is there any reason to pull the level in the insane asylum and trigger the nurses?
Yes. You can't progress through that area if you don't do that, and you need to defeat the boss in there to progress in the story.
You don't have a choice.
Is there any reason to pull the level in the insane asylum and trigger the nurses? Also am I supposed to fight these invading phantoms early on or should I wait? they keep destroying me
Technically, you don't have to. You can skip the asylum and go explore elsewhere. Obviously you can't go through the mental ward without pulling the lever, but there's plenty of other places to see!
Have you been to the Pond of Bloody Tears lately?
Can someone explain sen to me? I thought it'd be like sinning in the previous game, but I gained sen from raping a character, whereas i lost sen from killing one. I'm guessing it stands for sanity but how does that work?
How do I get good? Is there a strategy guide or something? I only decided to play this because it gets shilled on v sometimes, some other boards also. I don't have much experience with rpgs, do you just grind?
I suposse you mean BS1, it's pretty braindead once you have enough level but the early game can be rough. Your companions level up faster than you, you can run holding shift. There is guide.txt or hints.txt in the game folder which should be enough to help you beat the game, don't be decieved by the name, they are mostly just advices.
I found that and while Windsor is connected to it that it isn't the third order and also the guy you couldn't find either leaves me suspecting it is something else.
Is there a trigger for finding the baker in infinite food? I did it one playthrough randomly but since I guess I've been going through things differently and haven't seen him.
Best I got before is flipping it, it doesn't decode with the normal cipher whatsoever. >"In the%@ inn#^most se#ve#, %%e!&o!^
So "In the inn most" is pretty clear, "serve" is pretty likely for the next word as well. I was stumped on the next one, but an anon suggested "yellow" and it does largely fit the next set of garbled text.

Rather than the mead, it might be referring to Hastur, given that he's connected to the colour yellow

>Wouldn't "In their innermost" be a better fit? Though I have no idea how to interpret the last 2 words Me either, and if we take what the mead and the bartender say into consideration then I think yellow at least makes sense. If we try to go with "In their innermost" then "selves" is the next word I can come up with, but the last word would be a complete mystery to me.
>He doesn't know Set your sen to 0, before fighting Jubjub and talk to her. You can translate the text.
I'm doing a sen 0 run right now and is pretty crazy.

Nta, but Lovecraft wasn't a perfect writer, disregarding his racist and hikikomori style, he also make the worst mistake of them all.
Making walls of text to describe tiny things, my mom used to say it take one page for him to describe a tree, and while it's an exageration-fricking duh- it's not that far from the truth.
Still great though.
His lengthy descriptions help set the tone, IMO, and his prose is sufficient enough that reading said descriptions is still engaging. The tree one paints a vivid picture.
I am very paranoid of instant death and keep Resurrectionist Ring equipped at all times. Is it really that helpful late game into dlc 3 or is it wasting a slot?
The ring gets entirely discarded in favor of the Mercury Shield (which you can get in the Chaos Dungeon) and even that shield has some competition for the equipment slot. It also won't protect you from %HP attacks, and those are much more common later on in the Chaos Dungeon and in DLC 3, or protect you from OHKOs from just getting pasted by an attack contrary to what some have thought it would do.
What attacks in game are OHKO anyway? Game is too cryptic on capabilities of enemies and to this day I have no idea what attacks are normal, what are % based and what kill you on a spot.
Off the top of my head, Death, Execution (guillotine), Chainsaw Attack, Scissor Hunt, Harpoon Pierce. There aren't many and there's no real way to tell unless you're paying attention to your HP.
This doesn't include "Kills via ridiculous damage" attacks like Zexcalibur or Checkmate.
Mercury Shield is the best shield of the game with the one DLC3 anyways, when you get it, you will rarely change it, and it's still great and useful anyway.

Anon....muh infinite gunbreaks with manslayer shotgun
This thing is stupidly good, it will carry you through all the game before getting the Mercury Shield/Double-Faced Buckler.
Guns in general are pretty great.
Yes, but it doesn't matter because everything resets on NG+. And you'll frick up your first playthrough anyway, because it borrows from Dark Souls NPC questline design
Honestly most weapons are pretty great considering the game's very easy. Personally I like to use the drake sword and sorcerers staff interchangeably until I get the demon catalyst at around level 60 ish. Then I just use that for the rest of my playthrough.
The Drake Sword is pretty great if you get it from the get go, eventually, you will probably move on to the Moonlight Greatsword or Demon's Catalyst.
Or Our Golden Sword of That Give Another Turn.
Reminder you can do ridiculous damage if you combine a little bit of bleed+blood edge and quickswap to greatsword (a chance for crits) or anchor (pure unga)
Just completed ending H, and want to get some confirmations:
What are Gerda and Carnacki? They're not great ones, right?
>Victoria
Wrong, she mentions she has several sisters including an "impaling demon" I forgot her name though, it's a once per cycle thing
>Victoria
Nope, that was Courtisanne. If you reread the scene, the stabber doesn't recognize Grimm; Victoria would've.
Dodo.
>the stabber
No fricking shit.
Remember GG. Remember GG.
It's also funny.... and ironic.
I want to play this game but there's e-girl in it.
Maybe?
Shit that's taking it too far don't you think? Why can't he make a game without all that trash? His artstyle is so unique and good.
It didn't really had e-girls in BS1, just flatchests. It's in 2 that it became a thing, but it's rare and there's still flatchests in the lot. The problem with having your brain fricked with I suppose
Iirc there's like 5 characters that are e-girls in 2? ( Alice, Chick, Lorina, Gerda, some of the Liddells, maybe Kuti and the oyster girl, but thoses are hard to pinpoint. )
>Leaf & Red Hood
They're not fricking e-girls, just flat.
And what about breasts?
It's generaly decent sized to beeg, from DODO size.
Funny how much variety of breasts there in the games actually.
>Kuti
>maybe
Imagine getting filtered by non-existant girls
Because Lewis Carrol is important to the lore, and it's well-known that he was a pedophile.
>and it's well-known that he was a pedophile
No he was not, stop falling for modern sensibilities and historical revisionism
This is debatable, the diary entries that could confirm it for sure were burned

Hot.
>"You will have your chance to be reborn."
>Additionally, we plan to add a honeymoon scene with the Black Souls protagonist.
You are beautiful lad, have a good one.
it needs to be clarified that the kanji for "rebirth" can also be translated as "rehabilitation" (from sin), i think that would be the correct version

yes

yes it's a mole
>30 h-cgs
Will there be at least one cg of hot lesbian sex with Charlotte?
Inb4 she goes mad and tries to rape you xD
>Choosing to be a prostitute, rape, or be raped is left entirely to the player
>rape
It seems very out of character for Red to want to rape anyone.
This surprises me too. Maybe it's a way to get money and items?
As opposed to just killing or robbery? I don't know. Plus it's a stealth game with a very low difficulty level. Plus she's not Grimm and it would be far-far harder for her to physically overpower someone and rape them. Definitely odd.
To be fair, Red Hood is pretty much a Prototype of Grimm.
No one knows, that's the biggest mystery..Personally, I think it's after because it make no sense for her to wotk with them, but it would explain why in one of her talk, she talk about killing tto much people like Grimm; or why Lindamea want to kill her in DLC3.
Or maybe the killing too much people IS in Dead Red Hood.
>it would be far-far harder for her to physically overpower someone and rape them
Eh, she can take care of herself decently well. Specially considering the events of her own game.
This feels like some really elaborate NTR set up, then again I guess if you wanted to wife Red you were already a cuck in the first place, so that might be the intention.
It was NTR from the start, Anon
True chad will choose the harem end. Save and accept every girl.
Even Leaf and that hag Jobber can be reformed through wiener.
TCO will be made into a normal housewife without any of the yandere
Both the real Victoria and the one Leaf made will have their guro instinct extinguished, so will Victorias sisters.
Red is already proof that even a cold emotionless dogfricker can learn to love the BGC (Big Grimm wiener)
I fricking kneel.
Also, in hindsight, there’s something really special about that full picture.
I fricking love nyarlice
>removing the guro part of Victoria and Leaf
Virgin take. If you're already immortal you might as well abuse it for some really fricked up sex. There's only so much vanilla you can do before it gets boring.
Doesn't Victoria admit she likes it both ways? Receiving and dashing out violence
Yes, but she is a fragile mortal with no self restraint. Once she starts chimping out you kind of have to let her tear your wiener off until she calms down or she will get herself killed.
>Once she starts chimping out

Is it really NTR if it doesn’t involve humiliation of her main partner? I ain’t gonna defend doggy sex but I don’t think this qualifies as NTR.
If anything Poro is the one getting NTRed
I’d agree more to that, specially going by some scenes in Red Hoods game.
It could be a time skip sort of thing, where you get to see the time between Prickett letting Grimm out of Wonderland and Red dying
plot twist: this'll be leaf's sister
I already impregnated her.
Isn't it kind of weird that BS2 doesn't have an Orphan of Kos analogue, given how much it references Bloodborne? Would that be the child of Grimm and Baphomet in BS3?
I think she's dead. I'm pretty the fourth text box from from the left is referring to her.
I must be moronic cause I always thought that related to how there are dozens of Alices running around

Isn't Goose an Aesop fables?
Indeed it is, the golden goose also appears in Jack and the Beanstalk.

All the name references are listed on the JP wiki
I've only played the first one, it plays like the old Dragon Quest games, but has some Dark Souls inspired mechanics.
The story's got heavy ties to old fairy tales from Grimm, Andersen, and Carroll, but in the darkest interpretation of said fairy tales.
>I heard it's like a souls game
That's because it is. Just play it, taste freedom.
Souls games are great. If it has the same vibe then it's a good thing.
So where then? Gog-games?
DLsite
Kek but what's the links on the pastbin tho? Like "bantcraft minecraft". I mean I'm sorry if I'm cautious but I just don't want to have problems on my computer
There's also this link if you're paranoid (though pastebin has been the standard BS download link for a long while now)
https://mega.nz/folder/qr5GGRrR#yQI3LyS5DEfVhP5uArtyCg
Pass: wherearethetorrents
Alright thanks dude I'll just get it on pastebin
No Red Riding Woods?
I wouldn't say Red is a rapist but I wouldn't say she's above it either.
Anyway, obligatory map. Hopefully this is the latest until I decide to mark important things in DLC3 (not done it yet, grinding dem books)
Finally got to the BS reference room in NPC Dreams
How is the game? Can't play it, I don't speak nor read the moonrunes.
It's good for its own, but because i'm running a scuffed translation from textarctor I can't say how good the plot is though
>It's good for its own
Just you saying that made me horny for the gameplay.
Can someone post the: frick birds picture? thanks you.
frick em
Thanks king.
Frick birds very much indeed i love them there isnt enough of them
how does she put those clothes on with claws for hands?
Imagination son, have you heard of it? also Black personman
A very kind brother.
Does any one have a link for the latest build? all of the builds on 1337x are old.
I just beat Cinderella, what now? Is NG+ a thing or do I have to start again for sin route?
NG+ is a thing, go upwards from the holy forest, left to statue should be a crystal, interact with it
Ng+ is a thing but there are other ending you can get AFTER the "last" boss. Collect all fairy tales.
how does one find the tortoise and hare? I assume it's the green and purple knight dudes, but killing them didn't help
Tortoise - at a bench in the forest, then at defused mines he will spawn where the trap hole is (you need to trigger it yourself iirc)
Hare - prison
After you met both of them go to the bridge on the left part of Elixir.
Have you tried talking to people or coming back to the boss room? Or looking at the room of reminiscence?
>Not Earthbound-inspired
ngmi
I'm sorry but toby fox has staked his claim on EMMM instead.
Interesting, tell me more.
that would be telling
Try SHRIFT if you want something like Undertale. Except with Monstergirls. And worse in every single fricking way.
Oops, meant for
So when does Dead Red Hood take place?
We don't know for certain. Personally I think there's plenty of hints to suggest that it takes place between one and two.
I'd say after 2 because Lindamea asks Grimm about Red, but not because he wants to kill her
That's gonna be an awkward reunion
>*where is red I'm building a team*
>*she's a book*
>*what*
>*she died and become a book*
>*what
Makes you wonder how he would have the power to rez her from that.
>makes the ending of 2 a lot weaker
We all know that it's a possibility that Red Hood could come back via Grimm using GG's powers..
Eh, Charlotte might rreplace her as the new ((black)) Red Hood
Now I have.
Good, she's a very good girl until she's given a more frick up past time than fricking dogs
Charlotte look like Discount Red and Discount Miranda. It hurt, and leave a bad taste in my mouth.
Lindamea is actually a big part of why I think it's before two. He refers to her with some familiarity but there are no interactions between the two in the first game. That and if Grimm did bring her back what the frick would she be doing with someone with an eternal grudge against him
Hey, coming back from the dead and being with the love of your life is a pretty good reason.
That's literally my point. Red loves Grimm and Lindamea wants him dead. Why would she work with Lindamea post-2.
and why she would want that pre-2? he wanted to kill them even before
i think she wants to cleanse her sins or that lindamea forced her to do that
Because it was a different circumstance.
>Grimm managed to revive her
it can be happen before H
>Lindamea who both for some reason doesn't mind that she's Grimm's best fricking friend in the universe.
why would he mind? they're both sinners but grimm's trial was postponed and it's his job
>There's just more less justifications that need to be made if takes place before, not after.
>honeymoon scene
>new black trial Lindamea promised to create in dlc3
nah i more on post-bs2 here
could happen*
>it can be happen before H
At that point everything just get's too complicated for me to debate. H takes place in the past.
>why would he mind? they're both sinners but grimm's trial was postponed and it's his job
You mean in the section of the game where Lewis doesn't know things and act willfully ignorant?
>You mean in the section of the game where Lewis doesn't know things and act willfully ignorant?
At bare minimum he is shown to have memory of his life as a teacher, as a writer and his time with the Liddells. He also takes time to try to think about who the person in the picture is, instead of immediately trying to push it out of his mind like he does when he's trying to ignore something, yet still comes up with nothing regarding who took it or when. I seriously don't think it's his.
That's true.
only thing that threw me off from post-bs2 theory is that Lindamea doesn't have tentacles he had in dlc3
Doesn't Red admit she wants your child in one of her CGs? That's a pretty big reason if it is
Yes she does actually.
Then I will give her one goddamit
That's what I was thinking too considering Red 20 happened at the end of 2 and giving her a chance to "be reborn" or something makes the ending of 2 a lot weaker. Also Lindamea seems to be familiar with Red when we encounter him in DLC 3 which I assume would only be possible if he knew her from the black trial. I also wonder if we'll see what goes on with Poro since we never really see what happens to him in BS2
When do you see Leaf's sister? I only recall her mother is the Slave Empress boss you fight before finding her.
She is dead Anon.
>Slave Empress boss
I never understood what was the deal with them. Why are they there for? What are they?
Most likely, they're the progenitors of the character of Mary Ann, the handmaid of the white rabbit, rather than the actual mom and dad of the green menace that we know and love
Not in universe answer:
They are characters from the Lewis Carroll novel Sylvie and Bruno.
>When do you see Leaf's sister?
Never. Check the books at the Chaos Dungeon Library, or see
.
>I only recall her mother is the Slave Empress boss you fight before finding her.
Wot.
>Wot
Read the boss soul and item descriptions.
That's just Wonderland flavor text though, isn't it?
Because the Slave Empress is not Shubbie.
You could interpret it that way but that is what it says.
>Leaf's sister
she was also once mentioned by jabber in dlc 3
Prickett is such a best girl, she made fake shub and yog and made them loving parents for leaf because she never had them
Is there any way to play this on the go on an Android phone ? Mb a Chinese handheld?
What's up with Red and Leaf in the reverse route?
Red say something among the lines of "you know, you are friend with this thing?" implying she doesn't recognize her which confuses me.
The Red Hood we get is from her own ending, so it would imply that between 1 and 2, she discovered Leaf was a Black personman and Mary Sue/Mary Ann, but she seems to genuinely not know her.
Incidentally, Red Hood mention "saving our friends". But how would she do that?
She refers Leaf as "this thing" as an insult
But how does she know she's a b***h? By all mean, she shouldn't even know she is the baddie.
she somehow knows about her age of death and grimm's conditions, so her knowing that leaf's a b***h mustn't surprise you
That just leaves more questions, but in a single one, how does she know?
Oops.
Hahaha holy frick. I would be pissed if that was me. Frick that layer.
Just use the Old King's Bonedust and enter the CD again lol.
I was laughing at the humor from pulling off the crazy blades run only to realize after surviving he forgot to pull the lever to unlock the door.
Use the item that allows you skip a floor, that's what you should always do when in that one.
Can you get the grapes in the vineyard with the fox fight?
Who's the lady in the photo you find in your bag in the VN segment of DLC3?
>"Faces in the Fire" is a poem written by Lewis Carroll. In this poem, Carroll looks back towards a lost love who is already a mature woman. Sometimes this poem is used in reference to Carroll's love of Alice Liddell, but she was just a young girl when it was written thus she couldn't be the mature woman.
Except Lewis doesn't know the person in the picture, so it being related to that doesn't make sense.
The whole VN is just TCO trying to keep Lewis Carroll. To me, Lewis can't recognize the woman in the picture because of TCO screwing up with his mind exactly like they've been doing for +65 cycles.
>TCO
We know the VN is one of the dinner shows that GG is putting on though, TCO is secondary to all of the events that go on in it. Going off the radio recordings, it was a recreation of the torture Mary put Lewis through to break his soul.
Ah, the same old argument that cannot end with "it can be both".
Actually, it can't be both in this case.
Mabel implies that DLC3 is happening before TCO finds out the door she put up in Carroll River.
>"c[2]You've only a few yards to go.c[0]!
> I've interfered a little too much.
> Let's finish this before the Crawling One
> discovers the door."
You're right, it can't be both since we know it's just one party.
The title 'dead rex hood' implies somewhat either the death of red in the game, or red being undead. For this reason i reckon the game is set after bs2 as it makes little sense for either of these events to take place in the middle of the current continuation.
It's also possible that she learns about her limited lifespan
I think thats somewhat unlikely but definately possible as in bs1 red in her canon ending set out to find and kill what she understood to be the villain behind everything or as she later learned TCO, it seems uncharacteristic for her to abandon this quest to follow a side adventure within the black trial, especially if prior to it she had gained knowledge of her lifespan putting a timer on her efforts to kill TCO.
I mean Lindamea will probably force her into it. She's already a sinner and when Lindamea shows up saying "yo come help us or i will murder the shit out your sinful ass" you can't exactly say no.
You can't, Red Hood can though.
Really we cant say conclusively that Red has committed any sin besides an affection to Grimm and Lindamea, although a devout rival of Grimms, probably respects him and his code enough to not have Red for it.
>he thinks you can excuse evil
get a load of this sinner
but anon... evil characters make the play interesting teehee
The character introduction seems to imply some sort of Baphomet is leading the new Black Trial, but we don't know if it's still Shub-Niggurath.
>hakika releases schizo kino
>SEQUEL general devolves into mostly black bars
I am so proud.
I'm not.
what schizo kino? Is L depth translated?
Yeah, but it's not as kino as BS at all.
What's the most kino fight in BS2? Lindamea? GG last two phases? Florence? Jabber's Black personman form?
The Crawling Girls would have been great for the music, if it wasn't so easy.
I finally did it. After 790 layers of the Chaos Dungeon I found all the spells I was looking for. Now if only I could find Shub boss fight I will be done and can go do the remaining endings and dlc3.
Congratulation! How does it feel to have a bit of your waifus with you now?
Feels good. Still got to find that boss room.
Which would be quicker or faster? Old bone in and out until it appears or pushing deeper until it appears?
Boning out of boss rooms brings you to a normal room when you return.
It never gives a boss room right on entering?
Nope. It's no different from skipping the boss room.
Looks like I'm plowing deeper then. Squirrels should be fine though right? No tricks like makes you skip a boss room or anything like that?
Boss doors and depth increases are both determined randomly at floor generation as far as I'm aware.
Well either way it's all good cause I just got to The Black Goat boos room
Time to see how the boss plays out and get her backstory lore. Frick yeah.
Well that was neat. I'm guessing Baphomet was the mother of leaf and whoever created the Black Trial.
I went to where Fox and grapes was my last playthrough and there is nothing there now. Did I mess something up?
Frick. I have already been to the bridge and she wasn't there. Maybe because I rushed to Mental Ward before going there.
Yeah, Griffy only sits on the bridge at the start of the game. Once you light a few torches she disappears, along with a few other early game triggers. Without the start of her chain she's pretty much gone from your current playthrough.
Shit. I really wanted to complete the library this playthrough.
Griffy isnt required for the Library afaik
Also the library isnt really anything worth stressing about. The rewards honestly are not worth for what you need to do for it.
>Griffy isnt required for the Library afaik
She seems to be required if I can't get the book for Fox and Grapes without her.
Oh that screws it up then.
>not worth
Squid appendages typed this post.
No, just someone who regrets their decisions even if ultimately they were meaningless.
Seriously why would you do that to Chick?
Im pretty sure you dont need to kill Kuti for Library anyway.
I did it to save her.
Prayer Master? Moar like GAYER Master.
He wanted Grimm for himself, damm that Alice stealing him!
After all
Does anyone have the 2 INT dodo image. I am a dodo who lost it and can no longer find it myself.
Thank you anon.
Truly I am the dodoest of the dodos for mobile posting as well.
Oh frick right off, Florence.
A love so divine it must be shared! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
If Red Leaf and Alice had a VA. I wonder what they would sound like. I image Leaf's being high pitched and extremely grating.
>I image Leaf's being high pitched and extremely grating.
No. Leaf's voice would be soft and feel like kisses for your ears.
Reds voice would be dull and boring! Like she is!
Red will sound like Raven in the cartoon network reboot of blacksouls
t. bugs bunny
Her letter spawns when she goes mad, killing her early on locks you out of the item
never mind, got it So apparently, you need to go to the basement, open the gate to the altar, but avoid Blackwell who walks in.
She's supposed to leave the letter near the cathedral bonfire after she goes to Bill. Are you sure you don't have the letter already or didn't kill her before that?
Do you keep it in NG+? It's not in my key items anymore
no clue what the text says but cool lorde pic
So I heard that Victoria has a covenant in BS2 as well? How do you get it? I heard you're supposed to lose to her in the mini game, but how do I even do that?
have sex
She then eats my heart and disappears. Does she relocate somewhere else?
She returns once you light the Queensland bonfire
thank you! Never actually went back after going there.
>Many bosses can be all but utterly castrated just by nuking them with Mana Flare
Have you taken the mana flare pill, lads? You only need a few thousand Magic to reliably erase most boss's MP in one shot.
You people are using magic?
Got ending H yesterday and holy frick this game is amazing, but I have so many questions now aswell
Who was it that (presumably) freed Leaf from her dungeon? Talking about the cutscene you view inside the teddy bear, with someone smiling at her.
There are a couple of misconceptions here. Have you finished the Chaos Dungeon? There’s a very interesting room there.
Didn't understand it the first time since I didn't know about GG, is the Red Queen meant to be Lorina? I wasn't aware that she played that big of a role in the story. I know the White Queen is Node
The Red Queen is Prickett, not to be confused with the Queen of Hearts. Lorina is not the real Queen of Hearts.
Who was it that (presumably) freed Leaf from her dungeon? Talking about the cutscene you view inside the teddy bear, with someone smiling at her.
That was probably Jabber. She's been fricking shit up since the very beginning
What was the point of the Cheshire Cat, aside from the standard ending where she tries to "protect" you by not letting you get to "Alice"
See
Additionally, grinding of the gears symbolises the involvement of GG throughout the entirety of BS2.
>I don't fricking understand what the Grand Guignol is
The short version is that GG's an artifical Black personman made from Mary Sue's Power to Change that was stripped from her by Node and Prickett post-BS1 D.
Jabber has surprisingly thick thighs
Reminder that Big Sis is actually a shortstack
How can you say so? I mean she seems normal height?
If you compare her to Grimm in the sex scenes, she comes up to around his collarbone in height
I guess we can use Dodo for reference since EMMM confirmed her height to be 2m tall
We keep saying this, but no one ever does it...
I don't think they are togheder ever, we need the s*x scenes as comparison.
I'm still waiting for the math nerd that can measure Grimm's height
According to my calculations, Grimm is 1.76 meters tall
>I'm taller than Grimm
Probably one of my greatest accomplishment on this board.
Someone check my work on these measurements
Jabber also seems to be 1.43529 m
Supremely evil womanlet with excessive characterization. Damn my dick.
IMAGINE
>Dicksucking height
homie how tall are you? NBA player? Check
out
I used to play basketball until my diabetes kicked in sadly
Yes, definitely
Shit, I concede. You are fricking tall.
We need more CALCULATIONS. How tall are Mary and Fairy Leaf?
I'll get onto that after taking a nap and looking at job offers.
Unless someone else also wants to do this? I've based a few measurements off of my own proportions, but I'm rather stocky.
>Big sis is actually small sis
OOOOOOH GOOOD I AM LOSING SEN, VERNAI SAVE ME
Vernai wants to frick you too
Why is that not in the game
Well, it will restore my Sen so Vernai is still the biggest bro
Bros??
>Trust me bro, the bunny suit has better protection than what you are wearing currently, I got it from Winterbell I guarantee its quality
You could point to the panties on your head being one of the best helmets in the game.
To be fair those are some pretty fancy panties though.
Black pantsu are a gift from god
>Female Vernai
>The scene where Vernai tries to save you from Jabber rape instantly becomes 100x hotter
My boner won't go down
>no threesome option
AIEEEEE MY SEN ARGHHHH
Lies, if he did he would have accepted the bunny suit
OBSERVE
Kind of hard to take her seriously now, but this does make my dick harder than usual.
You think doing the Resident Evil 6 giraffe with her would be possible?
Giraffe what?
Also anyone has a canon image of Grimm standing up? Want to do something.
>Giraffe what?
How to say this.
The six logo look like a woman standing, hand on her knees, sucking the dick of a man-giraffe that his holding her head or shoulders.
imagine
Big sis is as tall as this little Match Girl?
>both Jabber and Grimm were standing during the paizuri scene
I'M GONNA CUM
You cant use Dodo as a reference or anything at all that EMMM draws because even the Dodo scenes can be pretty fricked proportions wise.
Pic related
Dodo is big, thats all there is to know.
She has a giant head? Just noticed it now.
No im pretty sure its just EMMM's fricked proportions for some scenes, especially ones in BS1.
Why hamburger?
Just got to what I assume is the endgame part of NPC Dreams, and oh boy one scene left me fricked up man, imagine grimm's endless cycles but without the blessing of getting his mind erased
>spoiler
Isn't it implied that his mind stop being erased by the start of the game?
I think the idea is that Node is in charge of that and she stops wiping his memory each cycle once she falls for him.
what is NPC dreams? I keep hearing about that game but it's not translated
A Black Souls inspired game that is, watch this, finished. No translation though.
It apparently does a good job at being Black Souls-like.
Make sure to go to Ice Cave past
Maru's domain to claim your boss weapons and meet someone who's waiting for you.
Also, in the graveyard area, other than challenging
not Grimm, if you come early (new cycle) there's someone in golden knight set which you can get by doing the questline of (not that good, but it looks cool).
Thanks, but i'm already on my second lap I'm getting an error trying to get past the big doors in the poison forest area, is there anyhting important there or can I just skip it?
According to my memory, the big doors in the poison forest area leads to Melf's garden of rabbits and flowers which is skippable, I suppose. Though, there's some plot related elements like Fetus undergone NPC fication...? and the identity of the one character who let you reset the world.
>Fetus undergone NPC fication
The more I hear about it, the more I want to play. Damn my subpar education.
>Imagine your waifu but she starts spewing the same lines over and over with reaction to anything else
Damn, there is a way to translate it using a program or something like that? I hear there are tools like those, but dunno if they work wanna test, anyone has a link to DL?
I've using textractor but the translation it gives are crude, if anything
Got a link to download.
Anime Sharing has it but if you feel it seems too shady, I can upload my copy to mega or something.
Yeah thanks. If you can.
I'm on it.

There you go.
I got to axe you a question, with an answer that is either, yes, no, or maybe. Is the ending satisfying?
(I'm not stupid, it's a Souls game inspired by Black Souls, and Black Souls is more japanese than the actual souls series, there's gotta be a True Ending.)
Which ending?
I don't even know how you managed to get that.
The true ending, like I said, I'm not stupid.
Not on startup but its me trying to access what's behind the big doors in the poison forest idk if it's my version that is fricked up or something
Did you decrypted the rgss3a file? Iirc, in RPGM games that have large size something like that can cause a crash or two. I experienced it myself when I farmed 1 mob infinitely with an exploit.
No, should I?
picrel, that's how it looks like straight from the download (except the saves)
Graphics folder shouldn't to be there I think. Hence, yours might be decrypted. Try to delete that folder and see if that works. Alternatively, decrypt Game.rgss3a and move the folders in there to the main folder then delete Game.rgss3a afterwards. Also, you can try using the one I uploaded too I suppose.
Well, yes. I'd be lying if I said the true ending isn't satisfying. But it's not over yet. Something need to be done to the world we're in, and that's why we're getting a DLC on November (Kind of H route in BS2).
Kind of like H route in BS2*. Also forgot pic.
>「I love you」
No...
>「I love you」
Stop...
Not bad...
Yeah, it fricked me up when I got that end
Need an english translation while we wait for more schizo kino.
I'm too moronic to operate japreader
Oooooh nice, you made me hard and hyped.
All the files the game requires are garbled instead of being japanese text which causes the game to crash on startup, I never had this problem with Black Souls or other Jap RPGM games before in my life.
Try changing your region to Japan, I suppose. It might because the dev named his files like this
Wait, I checked EMMM did the same thing so I don't really know what's wrong.
Thanks, which translator are you using for the text?
Textractor.
With reactions? Sounds more like robots than people.
>bloodborne but more focused on hunter's dream that's been going on for too long rather than just one night stand with Black personmen.
I feel obligated to mention that it's kind of what happen in Black Souls 2. And Bloodborne isn't really supposed to end too soon or too late. Why? Because I'm a lorebawd.
Well frick
How do you even enter it? I know I need to be in that "attackless" state but this error pops up whenever I try to enter
You can equip Mocky's Ladle before breaking to increase your LUK for a higher chance of getting it to stick.
delete this he didnt get this far
Didn't realize break was affected by luck. Thanks for the tip.
idk i just ungad him with machine gun
use break on mirrors when they start flashing and focus the king, thats pretty much it
>Old King
>Him
Lorelets!
i know i dont give a shit
Who was he anyway? I know it's some girl but I forgor who if I even knew it in the first place.
Saiba
who
Female Arthur or Female Luther, who got some Mordred's traits.
The Grail in Black Souls didn't have the blood of Jesus.
>These people still think Sen means San
>San
S- SANZU-SAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Didn't the significance of "Sen" and the Twins get botched in the translation due to a typo?
How?
Dee says the player doesn't have enough "Dum" instead of "Dam", adding Dam to Sen gets Sendam, which when mirrored spells "Madness"
> I have no clue why Jack would know about TCO.
Do your Chaos Dungeon reps.
Oi I remeber that he and the birb were there, but why? Dont want to go there again just for that.
Is Emmm a christian?
>rape the merchant
>nothing changes
whuh? No rape dungeon?
Anon, they literally stop reacting to anything the moment you get desire to rape, even bashing their heads in won't make them twitch
What the hell, that ruins it!
Oh hello white Leaf
help how do I play this game, the only two places I can go are a wall and a forest of bugs that oneshot me. If it's a black souls clone, where's the cheat rings?
Buy master key from the merchant or get it by killing a certain enemy.
interact with the left painting in the Orphanage (the hub basically) and type this さようなら (it's your 2xsouls drop rates stuff)leftmost side of the satrting zone, there should be a space leading up, go there
Also, do not use the special soul in the key items (I think it translates into lit. "half truth" or something), it deactivates enemy & boss encounters but cucks you from picking up or interacting with items or the world (besides npcs)don't use boss souls either, you'll get to a place where you can reclaim weapons from them
Intrusion can be deactivated.
New game only gives you a finite amount of it though.
>it deactivates enemy & boss encounters but cucks you from picking up or interacting with items or the world (besides npcs)
Heh.
>NPC dreams will also get a fan game
>it will have "force a toddler to draw every character in less then 5 minutes in paint with a mouse" art style
It's not bad.
I still want to see Big Sis without her hood. It would be cute.
>Fetus
Who the frick name a baby that.
Seek
*The Truth*.
Requiem Da?
I forgot to spoiler that picture, sorry. Anyway, there's also this one I found when digging.
How can such a simplie picture be so unsettling?
We need more eyes.
I have many eyes.

I see.
I think you mean, EYE See.
I actually meant to say Icy.
haha
God bless you.
>pic
>pic name
What the frick.
what game is the pic and what is the correlation with BS?
N.P.C. Dreams. It has no relation to BS per se, it just feels very similarly designed.
I see, chance of translation seems low but I'll hold out on reading the spoilers itt.
Got a link to the machine translation? Couldnt find it anywhere with quick search.
>Got a link to the machine translation?
There's only one afaik, it's in gay95.
Or you can just diy with translator++
Fricking hell, been messing around with translator++ for nearly a hour and each time i finish a translation i just get
>An error has occurred when applying your translation
>Your game can not be played properly.
So I just discovered that if you have covenanted Kuti, and that the bird does the birdening she flip out. But if you are at 0 SEN? You hear baby sounds
The implications are fun and not sad at all.
Anon, they're all babies.
Not now they aren't me think.
I see what you mean, but they aren't at the baby stage anymore. So either she is giving birth, or she already gave birth.
Plus Kuti isn't in the lot of the children.
Kuti isnt one of your daughters
She's still a child, relatively speaking.
You mean at the Beach of Grief? That's normal there I'm pretty sure.
okay I just got killed by the old king like 20 times what the shit do I need to do? Evasion isnt working, stacking defense and shit doesnt work, Im doing great damage but I just get fricked by the black sword shit immediately...
I dont necessarily want to be spoonfed on this but I would appreciate getting pointed in the right direction for how Im meant to approach tis fight mostly using gear that gives bonus actions as well like black and white rabbit rings and Duchess pact and the mystery
If I recall he has an opening or early attack that is delayed guaranteed death if it hits. So evade his first attacks or it hits and then many moves later it activates and you die.

A couple of questions
How do I get some bonus scene or dialogue with Miranda?
How do I get Kuti to eventually have kids after selecting make kids?
I heard Miranda and others show up in Ending G. How do I get them and do I do that action before the ending before I loop into G or at a later point?
Are the 3 villain covenants (jub/band/jab) good or should I just kill them always?
I DONT KNOW HOW TO SPOILER MY POSTS SO I CANT ANSSWER
Type the word spoiler in square brackets to start, and /spoiler in square brackets to stop
ctrl+s or ["spoiler"] without the quotes ["/spoiler"]
>I heard Miranda and others show up in Ending G. How do I get them and do I do that action before the ending before I loop into G or at a later point?
A secret passage at the beach leads to a cave, go there and beat the boss that appears
>Are the 3 villain covenants (jub/band/jab) good or should I just kill them always?
Bandersnatch is good, Jub is good for squeezing some extra evasion out, Jabberwock is outclassed by crit gear builds
>go there and beat the boss that appears
Strange. I met Miranda and got her axe but when I did ending g she didn't show up. Is there an event order I need to do it by?
How do you get Griffy to enter the cave alongside you?
>official TL uses the word dicky
EMMM is too based my God gonna be honest in saying im not that pumped for the 5 princesses and new red hood game idk why but prequel shit just turns me off but they will be smaller games so I'll probably still buy and play to show my support
Do I need to do anything prior to doing DLC 3 for max content or can I just jump straight in after meeting the requirements?
Do Chaos Dungeon and get as many items and spells as you can. It's not a difficulty spike, it's a difficulty cliff.
Yeah I honestly don't know.
Are there consumable items that raise SEN? I got the idea of entering a fight with any unique 0 SEN monster then raising it mid battle to see what happens.
I've tried fricking with SEN mid-battle and it doesn't seem to do anything from what I can tell.
It has no effect, even against Red Beast. In fact, you can't even open the menu at that point
Any SEN stuff when running around in ending G after you've awakened?
The doll in the university.
I meant in that crazy area during ending G where you fight all the characters in their monster form but then Jub Jub and sisters appear normally when you fight with Miranda and Hein.
No.
Lmao, most of the assets aren't even original. The dev is hack.
And it still has more soul than majority of AAA releases and indieshit.
Doesn't matter, I'm the kind of autist that MSpaints everything instead of using default assets and I can happily say Black Souls is a game greater than most.
i am getting filtered by the beginning area in BS2. any help? How does break work? I want my 100% evade and parry back...
>I want my guaranteed "I win button" back
Learn the mechanics gay
how. I keep dying to basic enemies!
Avoid them and explore, level up, use break and other skills, don't forget about guard
just fricking kill them
>Beginning area
Use Guard instead of Dodge, Dodge regains its original potency once you get evasion items later on. If you mean in Lutwidge, go into the sewers (look for a wide flight of stairs) and look for the handgun, makes things a lot easier.
There’s no mechanics up until DLC3.
The start is extremely rough, try to explore, and kill the first boss, and level up after that, you can use the item that removes all your soul at the start to gain access to an area without killing yourself.
[Break]
How stingy should I be with blood vials?
Not, they're stupidly cheap and have perfect availability.
They're cheap, and by the end of your run you could easily get max stacks, so use them whenever you feel like
how do I use break? It's doing nothing when the enemys action bar is filling up. How do I know when the enemy is preparing an attack?
Break is not a free pass to stun an enemy, you'll be able to break certain foes depending on if they're guarding/have an orange buff icon from what I remember. It's also Luck based in part from what I remember, but that's not relevant to the start of the game.
I see. Thanks.
Generally they get a buff that looks like a guy charging up. Slap them with a brreak an they get stunned. Or just get gun break and become an ungachad.
>gun break
>ungachad
it's not gay if you just rp it as your grimm punching the pellets at the enemy
The more you dig, the more you find. From the relations of the real Lewis to the rooms in the Liddel's state
The story and lore are just one thing.
You can't expect every game that's hyped here to do so, it has a lot to do with individual taste and hype levels when going into them
Symphonic Rain is one such game for me, shame it's rarely talked about
I feel the same way.
Not him but I checked the characters and saw twins+drama and it all just connected mental illness tag didn't help either
>utsuge
has a happy ending so it isn't one
i didn't finish it yet and Arietta's route had sad ending so i called it that.
Speaking of art the old version vs steam version is peak SOUL VS SOULESS
thanks guys i got past the rabbit boss and got to a town of some sorts.
I don't even know which game we're talking about anymore.
Truly life imitates schizo kino.
I've got a question for those who translated what Sherlock said in 0 SEN when you first meet him.
Why is he talking about the Crawling Girls?
Got a pic/post number of the text?
Because immediately beforehand Red's talking about hunting for the mastermind and lopping off their head, well TCO's that mastermind and you see what Red does in G.
Here.
I don't remember Red Hood actually talking when it this form though? Still, why would he repeat those words?
> when it this form though?
Maybe he's not screaming it at you.
At Red Hood?
Not them, but yeah I'm pretty sure that's why he's doing it.
But she doesn't look like her at all.
She must clearly look out of place since schizod up Grimm sees her as a monster. Jack probably sees her as someone like Grimm who can help deal with TCO so he might as well try to point at the big bad and hope it helps.
Oh frick. I never put those together.

It's about damn time for him to actually works on the upcoming game(s) fully, eh.
>なっちゃったからにはもう…ネ…
>Now that's it's gone....
What is gone?
You already know.
His fear being gone? All gone? With only rage left in his faithless world since he betrayed his god? YES this IS a Jojo reference.
FOREVER GONE
What did he mean by that?
I don't know but people keep posting touhous in the replies. Maybe ZUN finally got caught for shooting Abe.
I have no idea what is done or gone.
>Maybe ZUN finally got caught for shooting Abe.
What, that's illegal to take pot shots at stupid politicians in Japan?
Plus all the phases of GG are a representation of something
holy shit.
Does that mean you and your girlfriend are based?
She just enjoys hearing me explain this stuff. I did the same for regular Souls.
If she, unironically enjoy hearing you talk about it, you got yourself a living treasure. So treasure it.
>We don't even know if the Garden is truly gone
GG's destruction collapsed the garden, everything after the fight looks the same as you see in the reverse route, and you're told there that it's a result of the garden starting to collapse. That said, with TCO still alive it's quite possible that TCO can just remake it, but it almost certainly won't be on the same size or scale that BS2's Wonderland was since GG is no longer there to create and maintain spaces.
>plus Grimm ask Heinrich to take care of his kids.
Heinrich's survived the collapse of RHW and BS1's gardens already, and Hatta says a very odd line once you've reached GG, about how "fairy tales don't die, but live on in a place you know not".
>master1200
cease
>Heinrich's survived the collapse of RHW and BS1
Heinrich is a very special boy: I don't get how the frick he survived all that shit with Leaf in there, or how he got in Winterbell
.
>and Hatta says a very odd line once you've reached GG, about how "fairy tales don't die, but live on in a place you know not".
Sometime, I wonder if the books aren't a part of that "world".
>or how he got in Winterbell
From the sound of it, Grimm was there in Winterbell at some point before DLC 3.
>If it was a hub, chances are, we would have seen ourselves
We still have huge gaps in the timeline for BS2, both in terms of cycles and in terms of the actual garden timeline, hell DLC 3 added an entirely new Alice we've never seen or heard from.
I thought all the GG stuff was time travel before G takes place so defeating him in the past makes Ending G succeed.
DLC 3 as a whole takes place in the past, or at least before your normal cycle start point in BS2, but time is convoluted in Black Souls. Time and timeline paradoxes aren't all that uncommon, especially since they all seem to merge into one clusterfrick eventually.
>tfw keep explaining BS lore to my gf
Does she know about the porn?
I had to mention it at some point. She still thought it was interesting.
i have a nice replica first edition alice adventures in wonderland and i keep it on my bed every day because of this game, am i autistic? also you should try reading it if you're into this game every line in the book is basically explicitly referenced and its really wacky. plus the edition i have has a foreward that goes in depth about alice liddel and her family and all of that interesting stuff
I don't remember Heinrich in BS1.
You can summon Red to talk with him too.
Well shit. Never talked to any of those.
How can I translate Sen 0 stuff?
If you figure out how to translate this, you'll get it.

Is it possible to do no sex runs in the series?
Not if you want the true endings for each game, no.
To elaborate on this, ending C and D in the first game is impossible due to Leaf and Baphomet. Ending G is impossible due to Alice. Thus making it impossible to reach ending H
Iirc, isn't it impossible to cancel ending G Alice at the first change you get?
Yep, you’re forced to “make love” at least once with her and can only do “kill” after one round.
Alice!
Do you guys remember where the fist weapon is? I need it for my sl1 run
Knuckles are in Billingsgate, in the elevator that connects to the Fuming Forest.

Am I going crazy or was there a scene in BS2 that references the hotel from BS1?
Don't worry Anon, we're all crazy here.
>was there a scene in BS2 that references the hotel from BS1?
There's a scene in BS2 INSIDE the hotel from BS1, Anon.
Where? I can't find it for the life of me.
Where was it last time?
Enter the room with 100 Sen after triggering the End F/G path on that savefile.
>after triggering the End F/G path on that savefile.
I don't think that's a requirement.
Ah yeah, my bad.
The hotel's?
You know, the hidden room inside one of the ships you can explore at the Ship Graveyard?
What room?
THE room.
the final boss room with Dinah is the only room I would put with all caps. I'm sure it isn't that.
It's in the Beach area, look at the "obligatory map" further up the thread
In the next Black Souls game, EMMM should instead give all enemies low stats, but have progression increase the difficulty so you're not relying on "Get this ridiculous weapon and then oneshot the boss" nonsense for SL1.
>loop once
Pick one:
>difficulty resets and the gameplay becomes even more of a stomp than bs2
>difficulty keeps increasing forever, making exploration objectively a bad idea
You're virtually guaranteed to die to the final boss if you didn't figure out the shortest path on your first try. You also can't have designated lategame areas with deep lore like Queensland and the path to it since a new player can just randomly run there first and get spoiled.
Dunno, seems like an awful idea to me.
You can have two difficulty factors, anon, one for progress and one for loops.

Like 75% of bosses I fought against died in 1-2 turns.
>stop
*stomp
First off, git gud. Secondly, yes, that's the point of an open world.
Ah, the true Souls experience. Except for Bloodborne, kinda.
Talk to Kot in the regular dungeon
Yeah that's to activate the dlc right. Any easter eggs?
No, you could talk to her even in the base game. She simply points you towards DLC3, she doesn't initiate it
>easter eggs
Talk to the alien in the Lutwidge Town tavern
oxward doll
Big Sis has special dialogue if you enter DLC3's entrance with her covenant
Uh-oh!
No one can resist the BGC, not even you Dum or Dee...
Dum literally hates sex with Grimm though.
She'll grow to like it, we have time after all
One of the hottest scenes for sure
after a month of tribulations, im here
any tips?
The later phases are goddamn horrorshows, it's best to have the setup to kill them ready to fire off right away or at least have something cascading from the previous phase. Good luck, and godspeed.
>no allies
If you complete Florence's, Gerda's and Carnacki's questlines, you'll get to summon them to help in battle
Carnacki can literally nuke White Prison, Queen Alice and Unicorn&Lion with King's Order Now imagine it with royal tea at diff 9
get ready to waste 9 turns charging frumoius sword and god's angels
>get ready to waste 9 turns charging frumoius sword
Unless they're doing an SL1 run, there's not much of a reason to bother with that weapon/skill.
The sheer satisfaction of seeing the framerate collapse into nothing and completely obliterating the finale
>SL1 diff 9
>fully charge frumious
>one shot las phase
>game crashes
>have to do it again

What brush does EMMM use for his art? I'm inspired by his style.
Is there any reason to pull the level in the insane asylum and trigger the nurses? Also am I supposed to fight these invading phantoms early on or should I wait? they keep destroying me
You cannot progress further into the asylum if you don't, and some of the phantoms are real bastards so don't worry about losing to them.
Technically, you don't have to. You can skip the asylum and go explore elsewhere. Obviously you can't go through the mental ward without pulling the lever, but there's plenty of other places to see!
Have you been to the Pond of Bloody Tears lately?
Yeah I went to the pond of bloody tears and got my ass kicked by iron maidens and guillotines.
Can someone explain sen to me? I thought it'd be like sinning in the previous game, but I gained sen from raping a character, whereas i lost sen from killing one. I'm guessing it stands for sanity but how does that work?
You will understand after playing through the game

It's a measure of how in-tune you are with Wonderland. If you want a more explicit answer; it's a direct measure of your madness.
There is guide.txt or hints.txt in the game folder which should be enough to help you beat the game, don't be decieved by the name, they are mostly just advices.
soul discharge+wand+big speed
I’m both games the answer is: multiple hits and high critical chance.
Who are the Third Chivalric Order of Windsor and Scribe Auric you find records of before the first boss?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_the_Garter
Can't find anything on Auric
I found that and while Windsor is connected to it that it isn't the third order and also the guy you couldn't find either leaves me suspecting it is something else.
How do you reach this chest?
I think IIRC that there's a doorway that'll lead there in the area south of there where all the iron maidens and guillotines are
>I think IIRC that there's a doorway that'll lead there in the area south of there where all the iron maidens and guillotines are
No.
Is there a trigger for finding the baker in infinite food? I did it one playthrough randomly but since I guess I've been going through things differently and haven't seen him.
Why are all the lights out and it is dark in Library Dream?
Has anyone deciphered what jubjub said here?
Best I got before is flipping it, it doesn't decode with the normal cipher whatsoever.
>"In the%@ inn#^most se#ve#, %%e!&o!^
So "In the inn most" is pretty clear, "serve" is pretty likely for the next word as well. I was stumped on the next one, but an anon suggested "yellow" and it does largely fit the next set of garbled text.
Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think relying on the translation is the right move here. What does the line look like in Japanese?
Iirc, it's something about the mead.
Rather than the mead, it might be referring to Hastur, given that he's connected to the colour yellow
Wouldn't "In their innermost" be a better fit? Though I have no idea how to interpret the last 2 words
Well the guy who sell the mead does say Ia Ia Hastur
>Wouldn't "In their innermost" be a better fit? Though I have no idea how to interpret the last 2 words
Me either, and if we take what the mead and the bartender say into consideration then I think yellow at least makes sense. If we try to go with "In their innermost" then "selves" is the next word I can come up with, but the last word would be a complete mystery to me.
Seems like someone already solved it
>In their innermost selves, everyone...
Well the word fits at least, but everyone what? A sentence fragment like that is highly unusual.
when does she says that
>He doesn't know
Set your sen to 0, before fighting Jubjub and talk to her. You can translate the text.
I'm doing a sen 0 run right now and is pretty crazy.
Is there something special I am supposed to do with Angel Lingeriena?
Kill her or rape her, though you can on the first 2 encounters. On the 3rd one you'll have your chance.
>though you can

What do I do with the Nightgale story book?
It'll come in handy later.
Ok. I beat Florence Nightgale and didn't see anything and got worried I missed something.

>The French Theatre of Horror
Introduction and history of the Grand Guignol including 10 plays such as The Ultimate Torture (mentioned in pic) and The Torture Garden by Andre de Lorde
Honest question. Are any of Lorde's plays actually good?
He was the French Lovecraft.
This doesn't include "Kills via ridiculous damage" attacks like Zexcalibur or Checkmate.
what about gg's joker and jabber's soul destruction?
Joker and Soul Destruction are both "Max HP as damage", only difference is that Soul Destruction can miss.
Mercury Shield is the best shield of the game with the one DLC3 anyways, when you get it, you will rarely change it, and it's still great and useful anyway.
Anon....your double-faced buckler?
Anon....with the one DLC3 anyways
Anon....muh infinite gunbreaks with manslayer shotgun
This thing is stupidly good, it will carry you through all the game before getting the Mercury Shield/Double-Faced Buckler.
Guns in general are pretty great.
>Mercury Shield is the best shield of the game with the one DLC3 anyways
Yeah, which is why I listed it, but it's still true that it has competition.
You probably want it against a certain optional boss fight in DLC3, or even the final boss if you feel a bit stupid.
What is Hatter talking about when she says the password is thehatter3
i'm playing it for the first time, if i rape the characters, do i get locked out of certain endings?
How forgiving is the game with rape?
Yes, but it doesn't matter because everything resets on NG+. And you'll frick up your first playthrough anyway, because it borrows from Dark Souls NPC questline design
Ah I see. thanks
Can someone tell what are the best weapons in BS1? Currently using the great axe and I'm rocking it, the flail seems nice but it's worth it?
just use stormruler and spam the stormruler ability. You can do that while also spamming burn
All weapons are pretty decent. Favorites for me are Drake sword, Hunter's Bow, and Demon's Catalyst
I too loved the axe. You are good fellow axe bro.
Reminder you can do ridiculous damage if you combine a little bit of bleed+blood edge and quickswap to greatsword (a chance for crits) or anchor (pure unga)
Is there a way to revive the wall of flesh spell summon?
As far as I’ve tested, no. But maybe I’m just ultra moronic.
