how do I beat hansel and gretel
I am probably moronic lost 5 times to them already and they're wienerblocking me from the rest of the world right?
can i just skip to II?

also how do i use souls?
>he picked up the crumbs
oh no no no no
what crumbs?
and am i literally just forced to keep dying until my stats can match theirs??
pump leaf full of semen
pump leaf full of razorblades
why not both?
exactly!
YES!
NO!
black souls was a good game. when's the next one coming out?
According to what EMMM's been planning, BS3 won't be happening until Red's game and the Demonic Princess game are done.
Its already out. Its called hellpoint
If you're losing to Hansel and Gretel, you won't stand a chance in 2.
how am i supposed to win??
Are you using parry and summoning Leaf?
is parry supposed to be every x turns? that sounds autistic and boring tbh
who?
>Who
The fortress dragon.
i beat him when i realized you have to spam buttons in a sequence but that was whatever
>Beat Helkaiser
>Got OP-blade
>Can't win Hanzel and Gretyl
Stop lying, gay.
i got the blade on my second run after i quit the first one and on the second one hansel etc were kids not monsters
>Nooo you can't just start me off with the absolute basics! I need all the cool broken shit NOW!!!!!!
>Also I can't be bothered to read enemy names or use basic consumables
guess i'm just too tired to put in so much effort
>so much effort
>read and use consumables
what does reading enemy names have to do with anything
>what does knowing the names of characters from an rpg have to do with anything?
>Reading and using items is too much effort
I hate to break it to you, but you're just moronic.
thank you for the effortposting friends but i think i'm done.... can't really see any "reward" in the game. what do you guys get out of it? i'm sure the experience is pretty unique but i feel like i've played enough "unique" games that black souls isn't really interesting enough on an hour to hour basis
it's a good game, but if it filters you then that's fine. in the meantime, black souls thread.
>hour to hour basis
>Hansel and Gretel is 30 minutes into the game at most, including the time spent in the tutorial
You're overplaying your hand, friend.
what do you mean? i'm referring to the first hour not being interesting, obviously
>hour to hour basis
>not even an hour in
Once again, overplaying your hand, friend.
see
I think he's genuinely moronic because he shit up /hgg2d/ with more of the same after getting laughed at here.
I went there because this thread was dead for a little while
>black souls isn't really interesting enough on an hour to hour basis
>He says on a boss that isn't even half an hour into the game
see
>I-I'm not bad! The game's just uninteresting!
Damn dude I didn't know the Fox and the Grapes was a Fairy Tale in BS1.
see
so you have no argument against my reasoning for saying it's not fun on an hour-to-hour basis?
where am i sour?
where am i toxic?
Were you only fed paint chips and sharpie fumes growing up or something?
you're the one that seems toxic, if anything
So what you're saying is yes.
modern scientific literacy is so abhorrent, some people think they can make claims about a data set they don't even need to collect or refer to. you've spent less than an hour in the game, and you didn't even pay any attention to the game, because if you did you would know what the name of the dragon was. you can't say anything about how interesting the game is on an hour to hour basis if you haven't spent a single hour playing, and haven't been paying attention to what little you have played. Black personhomosexual moron tbh.
i can definitely say so.
if i had no fun in the first hour then that means on an hour to hour basis it's not fun.
anon, your statistics and research reps. you need more than a single hour to make definitive claims about what goes on in an hour-to-hour basis, but please, don't listen to reason, PLEASE just give up, we don't want you here. you don't deserve any enjoyment from this game, or any other. please have a nice day. and don't try to finish the game. just stop.
>dabbing on """intellectuals""" and their dogshit game
too based. stop sir
Lmao. That's why I'm fricking glad we don't have an english BS wiki. morons like this one should suffer.
>Losing to easiest boss in the game
Let me guess, you also was killed by Helkaiser?
You are moronic, either use the few remaining brain cells you have or stop playing. If 1 is filtering your stupid ass then 2 is going to be much worse.
>makes a thread about how tutorial section in JRPG is too hard
>purposefully disregards all advice
>"ugh I can't play this"
can you elaborate? that seems unfair
Let me rephrase for your sub 30 IQ brain: sour grapes much?
how do I frick hansel and gretel
Pick up every single breadcrumbs. You get better sex for every one you pick up.
Homosexual
So when does OP reveal that this was secretly a social experiment on gamer toxicity or some shit?
In that case I'm not saying nearly as many gamer words as I should be.
Is difficulty 9 Miranda still the fastest way to get the most souls?
Numerically I think so, but I think running through the boss rush is better as far as stat gain goes.
lol that's ironic. I'm trying to get souls to boost my stats to beat the boss rush
When you get bored then just hunt giant mimics in Mabel's fun house if you havent gathered the exclusive spells & weapons there.
I beat Old King. No clue if I got all the spells and weapons on my way through. What should I check to see if I have?
Also when I got to Old King I didn't run across every boss and thus missed some of their save point stories. Is there a place I can go read them all?
Max depth goes a lot past 10 as of DLC3, anon.
you definitely didn't get all the spells and weapons, a bunch don't spawn until way after. go through the boss rush if you want to beat the bosses, but some of them only show up in the chaos dungeon, of the space time one.
>of the space time one
Nothing should be exclusive to that one.
i thought that one guy found some only from the space time one, i never found them, personally, so idk.
Looks like I forgot to save the image with all the stories & exclusive items.
Ask the bs thread in /vrpg/ about them I guess, or archive.
>Looks like I forgot to save the image with all the stories & exclusive items.
Dumb useless cat
this
Okay so since it's pretty clear that OP is baiting at this point, let's talk about our favorite characters. Mine's Node. She's cute and learning more about her from cycle to cycle was one of the more interesting parts of the story for me.
I'm an unga bunga man living his unga bunga life, and I love unga bunga combat with my unga bunga wife.
Mine is Carpenter, because he is big motherfricker, and Lindamea, because he is autistic as I am, literally me.
Red. There are hotter girls with less cuckoldry, but from a character standpoint I just think she's neat.
RABBIT
prostitute
good janny though
I just wish there wasn't a notorious fandom autist that obsesses over him.
I was mistrustful of her since she seemed to be way too nice and pure unlike Leaf while at the same time going "it cant be helped" if I decided to rape my throughout Wonderland, but once I saw her flashbacks in that late part of the game I was convinced, I just really really like hopelessly romantic characters. I need to hurry on with DLC3 and find her a nice bunny suit.
Love
Mine is Jeanne. She truly did nothing wrong, and I would tear this world asunder to have her back. I often use a turn to cast Holy Banner before one shotting my opponent just because it makes me feel like she's with me.
Jabberwock is also nice, but that's my love for villainesses speaking.
The perfect heroine, Prickett! Bonus points for being Grimm's original Alice.
I should really play the dlc... so outer god alice of bs2 is not the alice grimm spends time with in bs1? weird
>so outer god alice of bs2 is not the alice grimm spends time with in bs1? weird
Yes and no, in a way.
If you mean Alice 02, the Alice you talk to in Wonderland and kill later on in the game, then no that is not TCO.
JEANNE
Any tsundere enjoyers?
I like her because of her dedication to Lewis
also because because she was literally a human once, almost none of the other cast are.
I just want to save her, not run after Alice
dicky cween best queen, no offense to og alice.
Carnacki for male.
Split between Cheshire and May-May
>he even wrote a review
lmao
OP is a flaming homosexual.
>gay95
Oh, that explains everything. He really is a fricking moron.
I'm not seeing it, though I suppose that's for the best.
I genuinely thought this was an ironic thread like these Ed Edd Eddy threads about a fake game but this actually exists
Wait till you see Lobotomy Corporation threads
I was thinking about not picking up the bread in my second replay but I picked it up again, did I frick up?
It does NOT exist! In particular that fake god they call Alice does NOT exist.
Any tips for fighting God Inhabiting the Lake in the CD
I don't remember there being anything special about the fight. Unga harder, it's the answer to 90% of the fights in the game.
Maybe I am just under prepared for him cause I do dick damage. Since it is CD if I leave to go get stronger and more unga I'll lose my place and may not see him again for who knows.
>I'll lose my place
Or to better phrase it the boss room won't still be there.
I'm willing to bet that your gear is dogshit, and that you're not using your buffs like you should be. Unga should not be a problem by the time you're doing Chaos Dungeon content if you know what you're doing.
Using anchor +5. I have one or two armors I go between.
>anchor +5
probably sub-optimal depending on your stats already
>I have one or two armors I go between.
congrats on saying nothing of importance regarding what armor you use (assuming it's Armor of the Sun/Angel's Raiment) or the several other slots you have
Weapon swapping is also pretty important to get the hang of, use that shit if you haven't already.
Yeah used Armor of the Sun for a long time. I've been experimenting and trying other armors recently so I don't exactly have a set armor I consistently use currently. You recommend just sticking with Sun then? I do probably need to try weapon switching more. It really only recently became something I started using when I beat Onimusha I used a strategy of jumping between anchor and knights king sword for him. Any other you recommend adding into the rotation?
>You recommend just sticking with Sun then?
Sun is the best for just pumping yourself with more Attack, which is what you'll want for the vast majority of the game. Once you're able to consistently reach stat cap without it you're free to swap it with whatever really. The Angel's Raiment is the best for general purpose defensive shit, though when you're dealing with late DLC 2/DLC 3 content raw HP becomes less useful. Onimusha's armor gives the biggest crit boost for this equipment slot I believe, but you have other ways of boosting your crit.
>Any other you recommend adding into the rotation?
The strongest unga weapon in the game, Hans, though many weapons still have useful skills or effects depending on the fights you're up against. This is especially true in regards to DLC 3, so get to looking at what each weapon is capable of even if there's still a decent amount of shit weapons out there. Don't sleep on your actual skills or items either, both of them bring a lot of utility that's overlooked by a lot of players trying to mindlessly mash through shit.
>still haven't mentioned anything about the shield, head, or 4 ring slots
Frick it, I'm going to sleep. I'm just going to say that extra actions are good, and guaranteed extra actions are better. Black Rabbit Rings are top tier, use them if you got them. White Rabbit Rings are your next best option, and Londinium +3 is your best filler for when you're lacking the other two. Don't be afraid to drop one or two of them to suit what you're fighting though.
I beat them on the hardest difficulty. I think I just used the speed thing that the fairy does, then blitzed them with parries.
>read walk through to know what's the hubbub
>it's precise actions that you won't know on a blind playthrough or even multiple playthroughs without a guide
well maybe the porn is good
>fricking doodles + only 1 picture per scene
adding black souls to black list. bye
As a piece of shit mathematician is nice to have some game rappresentation
Are you referring to the fact that Charles Dodgson was a mathematician?
Dead Red Hood when?
It was supposed to be the end of the year, but EMMM started playing Sunbreak...
Eh, it's fine.
Regardless of how long I have to wait, I know he's going to deliver. He can never disappoint me, unlike ProjectMoon director.
Sorry anon, BS3 will be a gacha
op is a gay, but this is the game with alice, so bump
Why the frick haven't I seen like half of BSII?? i beat the game with several endings: Letting Alice be killed by the cat, killing the cat and fricking Alice and killing the crawling one and escaping with red hood but where the frick is the rest? is the moon only an easter egg or is there more to it? Where is the carpenter and the owl man and all the other girls whose sex scenes I have unlocked are?
Here’s a slightly basic rundown of the remaining endings and how to find funny owl man and wubwub carpenter
do all covenants and keep them alive outside of the nightmares and speak to node
killing Alice after cat fight
siding with leaf during the TCO area
DLC3 area unlocked via unlocking a depth in chaos dungeon then fricking off to a side path in Carroll lake, you see two beefy enemies indicated that you’ve unlocked it
Carpenter man is in a dlc area, the beach has a path in the sea with bubbles, go through the underwater area there to unlock the deeper sea dungeon, it’s past the fat walrus lady
