I think arena games are p2p, and the game is synced to the worst connected player. Very rarely I get a completely lagless game. I assume that happens when all connected players are steam gigachads on wired connections. But if you get even one brazilian on his mom's wifi it will lag for everyone regardless.

I got him at T20 max tranc and he's been doing good in arena for me I mainly put him against Yuha (90%WR) but he isn't gonna carry you if the rest of your team is mid and doesn't reallt solo. He is good against invincible chara but Tsukishima can still beat him at equal tranc. Oh and Aizen is gonna push your shit so hard. Suprisingly underated for PvE content.

I ended up getting semi-shafted. 6 pulls + 150 discount and got Nel, Shuhei and Soifon (all new)
then I did four pulls with 4*/5* tickets and got a tsukishima fakeout. Dupe Vizored Shinji and dupe red hollow killer Aizen. I'm this guy
so now my Shinji is 2/5 and I don't know whether I should give him FCS or stam. FCS is obviously better for PVE where he's the best at but he already gets btfo in pvp a lot before he even gets his boost off so the FCS won't help there. man...
Shinji isn't a PVP unit anyway, the second you get one you're gonna dump him. So give the man his FCS.

So I’m a new player that started last night, am I doing good so far? Really, I just wanted to pull for waifus and sexy arts, but it looks like have to wait for specific character banners to get them. I’m not all that interested in PVP, at all. Any tips for newbies, or any characters and accessories that are really good for hard content and coop? Is resurrection for the rocker Hali worth it?

Anniversary Ichigo will carry you through the game and you got 3 different potion farming units (MS Riruka/Ulquiorra/NY Ichigo), I'd say you're off to a good start.
Resurrections are always worth it, it's free orbs and sometimes they can be good link slot characters.
Units can be broken down into two categories, (S)trong (A)ttack (D)amage:SAD and (N)ormal (A)ttack (D)amage: NAD. SAD characters have more SP and need accessories that increase strong damage and SP, while NAD have higher strength and need accessories that increase normal damage and ATK.
Also I can't tell on my end so I don't know if you know, but dupes can be fed into each other for a stat slot unlock.
You get the first one for free, and if they're NAD naturally you're gonna wanna increase their strength and vice versa for SAD, then you're gonna wanna increase FCS, which is your crit and getting that it lvl10 basically makes every attack crit 100%. After that it really doesn't matter, str for SADs if you want, but NADs do not need SP at all, their best accessories reduce SP to 0 anyway. HP and Def are mostly for PVP.
And like
said, lock your units. There's an automatic setting somewhere in the settings but I do it manually in the summoning result screen.
Skip your special move animation in co-op.
Raid 5 stars are useless, level them up for free orbs and then trash them.
Make sure to max level all shitty units for free orbs.
Orbs get scarce later on.

Yeah, SP recharge is good early on. Best possible links are generally recharge + SAD damage or damage at full stamina, or some combo of them. Ressurected units are often the best ones because sometimes for their second link trait, they end up with two of those traits.
Realistically even at 1/5, that anniversary Ichigo if you give him his link slots, put SP in his bonus stat slot and power it up is going to easily do any point event content and the like.
The closest thing to "endgame" though is senkaimon stuff, which requires a selection of decent units rather than one gigacarry because you get the used character locked on some stages so you can't just clear all 25 or 50 floors with one. But really that's not something to worry about yet, you'll get a senkaimon crew together just by passively rolling and acquiring new ones.

What future banners are there to look for? Genuinely asking since i recently started.
Generally speaking, they give us little to nothing in terms of future banner hints or characters. The only units we know are coming this year some time are the Beyond Bankais for Gin and Mayuri and maybe others. But they have the TYBW license back so they in theory at any time(well, EoM) could release new characters from that like Sternritter at any given time, new versions of existing characters from that, or remakes of ones that released years ago and are outdated for their in story significance like Bankai Shunsui or something.
This Ichigo and nakama rerun isn't a bad banner for you at all as a new player, but it's going to last until we see the EoM announcement so there's really no reason to pull yet other than gambling dopamine.

Anything that's original designed like the beyond bankai captains or TYBW related characters should be what you're looking out for. Since you're new you can try to pull on the ichigo/chad/Uryu banner since that ichigo is a beast and the uryu is good all rounder and chad is good for pvp. Other than that you can try for Kaneme's banner atm since he's a beyond bankai unit and a potion dropper i believe, once his is over Toshiro's will be out and he's the best technique character in the game atm so its a good unit to have early.

said, the Tosen individual isn't a bad idea for a new player since all four units are decent, same with the nakama TYBW. But for the latter, wait like a week before we get EoM news just in case it's something way better. In a case like this, it never makes sense to just instantly blow orbs when you know you'll know what's next before it's over. Unless it's like a banner of your favorite character or something.

PvP is terrible, it's just a side autopilot mode that's endless whalebait powercreep of new units. There's realistically no point in ever trying to get above third seat, because then you get access to the exclusive co-op mode that gives extra rewards and materials.
After you get above 5-6th seat you're going to see nothing but the same handful of meta units with temp invincibility or other PvP skills, and then it's just a matter of refreshing a million times until you get a team yours can beat with the X2 bonus.
Are the "Character Selection" banners on a set pattern? I've been waiting for some waifus to show up, but its been all dudes.
We've got Yoruichi some few weeks ago I believe. But please don't ever spend your orbs there, they don't have guaranteed steps.

in terms of PVP builds what does the ideal build look like? I know its golden chappy, golden pupple and normal chappy, but I often see DEF builds and considering I have chad, SAFWY sajin and Yuha not sure if I should go DEF or ATK
DEF builds are kinda worthless unless you manage to get it above the average ATK.
What happens then is that people only can do 1 damage to you, but its hard to achieve that. You basically have to have 5/5 links with lvl10 & 3star DEF on top of the unit you're using also having that.
It's a dumb amount of effort just to drag out a victory, so go with ATK.

Looking to build a halfway "decent" 4th seat pvp team, but have no idea how to go about it with the current characters I have.
I don't have the Beyond Bankai Yama, the TYBW Chad, or a single 5/6* Kenpachi (past or present), but I got literally every other character that basically exclusively populates these higher tier tryhard meta floors.
Any suggestions? Other than keep rolling for more characters...
Yhwach is still PVP king, so him and any other good PVP unit you have the golden chappies for.
Just FYI brave battles is like rock paper scissors, so Yhwack beats Yama, Yama beats Tsukishima, Tsukishima beats Jugram, ect. So learn your counters and set up multiple team comps.
You could try an SP nuke build. With the shift in meta from 2-3 invincible guys whacking each other for ten seconds before the match starts to a lot of new PvP units having invulnerability piercing but no invuln of their own, that makes them open to just getting nuked down the instant the match starts by a maxed Aizen or something.
For the Special Senkaimon ticket rewards, should I get one of every Chad or focus on maxing out a single one with dupes, got 3 tickets collecting dust.
I'd say that depends in what are you most interested in.
Do you want easy orbs or do you need a very op link for certain atribute? I would go for different Chads to be honest. 12/14% recharge is enough when you have tea sets.

There's zero focus on the accessory machine though other than color, no guaranteed pity, and pupples/yuki are pretty much useless by default + more than like 1 more dupe of any given one of a color is also kinda pointless. I just don't see it as being worth it unless you have more orbs than you know what to do with and aren't interested in most potential new banners.
what are you supposed to do then, farm accesory tickets on point event and hope you hit that 0.001% chance of the accesory you want? or slowly try to get everything when they run free accesory machine pulls twice a year? it sucks.
Yeah I didn't say there was a good answer lol, it's an awful system either way. I just pray for good ticket draws, I tend to average a 5 star if I save up and dump 100 or more brave souls tickets at once. Main issue with either method is just that after you get a decent amount of them, you start getting more and more dupes instead of the one exact color/type you want. I'd love a purple tea set to fully minmax my Aizen, but I don't trust the machine to not frick me over.
Do the event on 10x tickets at a time. It doesn't give the ratios it used to but it's still a good source for accessory tickets. Another thing is to abuse the exchange shop for accessory tickets in the coin shop.
My friends do it, but I don't. You can also buy higher level accessories in the raid exchange shop.

Absolutely. Point events and CQ allow you to use up to 10 tickets per run now. All coop stuff caps at 5 tickets, which is not bad but come on, 10 tickets should be possible by now.

They are rare but are happening more often. They are events where you run 5 tickets at a time to get a ton of resources, depending on how lucky your account is. I have an alt with more 10/10/10's than my main account.

It's both. Anniversary was a massive lie as most people pulled random year one characters with their tickets. The only people I've seen benefit are people with an insane amount of tickets (literally spent thousands of orbs for the tickets to run that many times)

bbs connections are p2p and sync to the worst connected player. this is a mobile game so it's obviously being played by little Paco from brazil on mcdonalds wifi, you just have to deal with it and pray you get white people in your room

This really is a great banner. All three characters are extremely useful in the content they were made for. As someone else said earlier, individual banners do not guarantee the featured units, only the main banner.does. So rolling now is very important.

Really need israeliteels, but base drop rates for the training grounds are garbage even with links, so I've been farming droplets in multiplayer the last couple days while I wait...

This month has very few items in rate up but the chronicle quest drops are rarely ever in rate up.
A normal month usually has crystal/jewels, droplets and resurrection rings as a rate up.

I'll admit, it's rough not having the proper potion characters. My strategy for alts with good units, but not a lot of potion characters is to just run every ticket on the days the appropriate raid appears. For most of my alts, getting familiars maxed out is not a reality.
In a game where people aim for their favorite characters, the sad reality is that potion characters should always take top priority, especially the newer units dedicated to Inheritance Trial farming.

Arguably, the best way to play BBS is by only spending a certain amount on banners. 2k every EOM and you will most certainly get someone new to play around with. You won't pull your most wanted every time, but it's the only way to avoid ending up in a situation like yours. Once went 13k without the character I wanted, deleted my account, and vowed to never frick up like that in a gacha again.

I bought the $20 support ticket for hopes of landing one of the three. I recieved an ancient banner support. Bought a six star ticket with arena points, and bought the six star ticket with this arena season. All first year cards.

Aaroniero, Envy, and Spiteful Hopes use multiple accounts, but despite spending thousands on their own accounts, they always have thousands more in the next video. Getting 9999 Brave Soul tickets is a sign someone is either using a script, or spent thousands of orbs for the soul tickets needed to run that many times...with a script to quickly kill everything on a level.

Their defense is too high/your strength is too low.
Its pretty normal for SAD characters, but if its your NAD ones then you need to put more work into them.
The current lineup is all arrancar, with a ranged attack x2 boost, and I'm maining the 7th anniversary Ichigo with completely maxed out everything, and full health damage boost links, and his bonus abilities are extra damage to paralyzed enemies and even more full health damage boosts

Ichigo is a SAD character, he doesn't have enough attack. Your normal attacks are being reduced to 1 because they have more defense then you have attack.
Also IMO recharge links>full stam.
Hard guild is bullshit because they beef up every unit so while you may kill one in seconds another might kill you since its the strong type on top of having some bullshit like your SA's hardly doing damage or them having resistances. Trust me, unless its fricking Yama nuke week, hard guild just sucks for me, better to get 5-10 orbs though than the bullshit 1-5 ones on regular
Look for listed resistances before starting. Odds are a boss is melee/ranged resistant.

No freezes, but it has been odd.
I have to close the app down whenever the day ticks over because it doesn't register any inputs and gets stuck on the reward calendar screen. That and everyone's special moves in ER has an odd issue where the character will freeze but the rest of the animation will play out.
I've reinstalled but no dice, don't know what the issue is.

The secret to senkaimon is to always use the top suggested units on BBS. Even those long outdated units can pull it off due to the mix of elemental attribute, killer, and types of attacks. I've pulled off miracles with cards I've farmed for orbs only. What sucks is when you run that unit only to discover they have zero unlocks. So character links become use whatever element you have that boosts their attack.
It's an espada only stage bro, these are my only options. IT'S OVER.

Depends, if you only intend to use him for Brave Battles. Since he is a Normal Attack Damage character, SP is useless to him. Many would argue focus comes second but depending on the number of dupes you have and the fact most people do not run a straight dodge build anymore, it's up to you.

I have the same problem, but I'm on PS4, so Tapjoy isn't even a factor. Even after buying character packs and whatever ridiculous priced event tickets there are, I can't even hit 5 rolls due to Arena's benefits being too tempting. Alt accounts are the only option.

If you can't kill a barrier character in one shot don't attack them it makes the job harder for everyone else.
If there's 4 seconds left on the clock, and things are neck and neck with your team in the lead, don't trigger a score steal it gives the enemy a chance to steal and win

I think on average you can get 1000 a month just by naturally doing dailies and shit, but considering costs are 250 for a roll, and not even a pity one, you can only pull about 4 or 5 times, and considering most banners dont have a guaranteed step till 5 or 6 you can essentially frick yourself out of a months worth of farming. This isnt an issue until the in game currency is severely limited. Why the frick does the shop not reset weekly? Why the frick can you only do 2 towers of Senakimon in a month? Why the frick does guild drops have 1 and 2 orbs when 5 should be the lowest? Dont even get me started on them removing co-op orbs despite a massive amount of new players

After large sources like 5-star and 4-star raid farming orbs runs out, one turns to senkaimon. It doesn't take long to run out of orb sources. That's why light whaling comes into play.
Starting out, there is a wide range of options for light whaling. They even had free pick your own level 200 character tickets when it launched on PlayStation. Then K-Lab pulled those tickets after everyone started rerolling on alts to get the best characters.
Now I just quit (become so disgusted by being shafted) and come back every couple months to see what changed. Yet at the same time, it's not fun seeing that there was one or two mandatory characters released that everyone has.
TL;DR: It's good at getting Bleach fans hooked to gacha spending
the moment I run out of easy orbs I'm deleting the game. I'm not slaving away for less than2k orbs a month
It works, but after awhile you'll become curious and return. PS Plus users have it tough because there is a guarenteed 5 star character and accessory every month, but it requires that you log-in and claim it. It's better off just to wait a month and a half for the guaranteed level 200.

Klab has NEVER EVER given out free orbs unless they fricked up (which they will take months to reward), or they do that bullshit monthly crap where you get 70 orbs or some horseshit if you log in every day. These morons want us to put them in the spotlight, but cant even be fricked to give a "pick your own 5*" ticket for ppl who are tired of dupes.
KLab gave like 10 orbs when they messed up so badly that there was a PC/PS4 exodus from the game. PS4 created raids still do 1/8th the damage they should.
They supposedly plan on putting the 4star Frenzy characters and other rarities in the coin shop. Yet this is Klab, I legitimately fear the changes made will make it practically impossible to speed farm on a new account. Picking a 200 then farming a raid with 10 tickets was very convenient for ascending new 5 stars.
It seems that a lot of value will be added to coin drop +70% units since you'll want to buy raid characters quickly as a new player. The problem is that those kind of characters are rare.
I think they're getting tired of ppl with alt accounts that's why so they're making it more annoying so that ppl will stick to their mains, farm those, and then get shafted with no backups. Alt accounts are essentially non serious orb farming just to bullshit so I'm sure on some level it hurts their metrics when 1 player can have 2 to 3 accounts and they only are really serious about their main. Plus its really easy to hit their bullshit retweet requests when you can hop into 3 accounts per pop

Honestly it depends what you want to do with your account
If you just want your favorite characters then save and summon when they show up, if you want to have a super top tier account I honestly think using some orbs on that started banner is a good idea but saving the majority of your orbs for anniversary at the end of July

I want to know what dev wanted to introduce dodging enemies into the game. There is nothing fun about watching enemies ignore your attacks and negate your i-frames.
It's fun for their profit margins to go up when people are forced to roll for new units to solve a problem they created to sell said new units.
Basically this. Characters that largely exist for a single Senkaimon floor are frustrating. Especially when the only time you are using them, they do insane game-breaking damage due to all the specific buffs they recieve.

For me it's just farm potions from Epic Raids and make sure every last person you have is at least 10/10/10 to increase their stats. Wait till the final 5-10 stages, then use all of your badass characters to ignore the stage requirements.

One hidden part of the update is Friend Point exchange in Shop. It now gives very good rewards, for a ton of friendship points.
Best part is the scrolls, huge deal for new players

Kon's powerup quest is in Limited Quests now for some reason. It gives a lot more than it used to.
5 and 6 crystal quests have been combined into one. So it makes overall farming faster.
In the Shop, Kon's Corner gives droplets, small and medium scrolls, and more good things. So if you have any friend's points stored up, you will want to use them.
YouTubers will tell you that IT and IZ are viable again, they are not. You need to run each one with three potion characters to come close to the results from 5 tickets used on an Epic Raid.
For now iz is something you do if you're bored of raids and want to get into matches quicker. Whenever iz has x2 drops it becomes the go to place for pots
