Hanako's route is really weird. I'm nearly done with it and did Lily's route last. Unless they address a few things there's just wild inconsistencies and the pacing feels bizarre. The random runner character who you confide in immediately for no reason. Lily actually reveals stuff about herself and is more talkative at a faster rate than on her route where she's into you. Hanako is legitimately fricking moronic sounding but I do like the fact that they kinda address it (you stop acting like her parent, she responds by acting like a more normal adjusted person). I haven't finished it so maybe it'll really blow me away but between the 3 routes I've played (emi, lily, and almost done with hanako) it's blatantly the worst so far.

It's because of the "Lilly leaving" storyline. They ended up rushing the Hanako storyline so they could fit it all there and it'd make sense. In my opinion they should've just removed that on the Hanako route.

KS isn't even strongly about girls loving you really. It's the least interesting part of the game tbqh. It's about wholesome socializing and learning to understand people better. Each route has a life lesson, it's very cute. The romance is just a vehicle for character exploration. I know threads about it boil down to waifus but the game doesn't really pander to that. It's not a game where moron girls love you for no reason.
