Its literally the best because its the fastest and the most responsive >DMC wannabe that ruined souls
Bloodborne combat > Devil May Slop >Who came up with this trash dump?
What do you mean?
>Its literally the best because its the fastest and the most responsive
Not even him and I like Bloodborne but this is false purely because of the fact it’s the last fromsoft game you can’t rebind jump in.
Elden Ring is dogshit compared to Bloodborne, you must be trippin.
too sickdark and cinematic
This must be a fake footage, show date and post it again.
some bosses (in chalice dungeons in particular) have annoying lingering shitboxes that are outside the bounds of their model and/or operate in the opposite direction of the ongoing swing from surfaces that aren't part of it
that's the only thing that ever severely bothered me
What bosses? i dont recall having that problem at all, maybe its skill issue?
some bosses (in chalice dungeons in particular) have annoying lingering shitboxes that are outside the bounds of their model and/or operate in the opposite direction of the ongoing swing from surfaces that aren't part of it
that's the only thing that ever severely bothered me
Weapon variety in the early game sucked ass, too many weapons are given out in the end game, although you can false root chalice one
The fast travel really killed the early exploration before the church, had they had made the levels similar to dark souls (as they originally intended) it would of been better
Teleporting to the hunters dream to level up got annoying
Having fricking 3 guaranteed blood rocks was absolutely stupid iirc blood chunks was also rare as frick to find, I ended up duping them in the hunters nightmare
Worst PvP in the souls series even though I hate PvP
Korean farming blood gems is a dumb idea and will remain a dumb idea
Being locked to a PS4 and running below 30fps is also a sin
Gutted RPG mechanics and build variety in favor of very basic action gameplay and kept this trend for each following game.
Trick weapons are a gimmick that remove weapon variety and customization by limiting weapons to either one hand or two.
Started the trend of washed out color leading to DS3 which did the same.
Started the trend of too many bosses having phases which ruined the rarity and surprise that came with it.
Continued the bad trend of Artorias’ DLC from DaS where some bosses had long and pointless combos that do about the same damage as single hits leading to some bosses having really dragged out and tedious fights if they land a combo which carried on to DaS3 (mostly speaking about Manus in DaS)
Those are the reasons I dropped it a couple bosses in after playing DaS3. The combination of those factors right after I beat DaS3 and having to use a dualshock which I don’t like lead me to drop the game 3 or so bosses in since I was also borrowing the game and don’t really like doing that. It wasn’t really bad it just felt like more of the same of DaS3 which was a step down from the first two games.
Haven’t beat ER either because finding quests in the open world sucks and the open world itself sucks too, but I do plan to beat it since I own it anyway.
>15 fps >grey and blurry everywhere >shit fights in the base game >1 good fight in the dlc >introduced infinite rolls to the souls genre >ranged parries have no risk while having insane rewards >no build variety >too easy
I remember the frame rate being bad back in the day, but I went back to replay a bit of bloodborne not long ago after years of playing everything at 60fps or above on my high end PC and it felt like I was playing underwater.
stuck on a shitty console for too long, I hope sony remaster this piece of shit so it gets ported to pc, so people finally realize is a mid game that is just carried by its aesthetic. Also it would mean that snoys would lose their only good exclusive (that isnt even that good lol)
Honestly bros? I'm seeing through the illusion these days
The From formula is addictive, and there's some satisfaction to be had from finally getting a boss's pattern down and beating it, but lately I'm realizing how limited, time wasting and honestly annoying their game design is. Yharnam isn't all that interesting, navigating it isn't all that fun, exploring it isn't all that rewarding, the same old arcane grimdark plot isn't impressing me either. It's been the same shit for what, six games at least?
chalice dungeons were a huge dissapointing that could have made the game live a lot longer , should have come with a editor to make your own dungeons and not the same 3-4 dungeons
watchdog hitbox its the one i remember being shit
???
chalice dungeons were amazing, each dungeon was unique and had a unique boss at the end, the exploration was so good that you can unlock weapons and hunter tools after opening the dungeon treasures.
compared to elden dogshit ring caves its a perfect
>Early game chalice dungeons suck >Too much loot that's just madman's knowledge or consumables >Having to farm blood vials and bullets instead of just restocking at 20 >Shit fps
Still one of my favorite games
this is one of my, if not my absolute favorite game, but it's got some flaws
blood vials was a dumb idea, either they're trivial or a pain in the ass you have to stop the game to take care of
the frenzy mechanic is way too harsh
i like the chalice dungeons, but they could've been organized better and again some of the cursed shit was too harsh to be fun
the magic item mechanic could have been handled more gracefully as well
nothing is ever perfect, still my favorite from game
I have a really shit opinion about bloodborne's fps problem.
I feel this way only about bloodborne and no other game. I couldn't play any other from game at 30 fps. I played Sekiro at 30 and dropped it till I got a PC to run it, and dropped PTDE back in 2012 because of the fps crap. But with bloodborne I can. It actually doesn't bother me in the slightest. I don't even know if I'd want it 60 fps, for some reason it added to my experience.
I do want it on PC though dammit.
ignoring the hardware lock that sony imposes on this for no fricking reason >most shortcuts and loop arounds are meaningless, because once again we have warping from the start of the game >introduced new movesets (running R2) only o remove two (kick, jump attack) >hyper armor is inconsistent >lack of passive poise >unlocked rolls have no place in the game, dashing should always take place, even during unlocked play >no way to increase dodge speed >punishing heals during pvp is inconsistent and not worth pursuing >enemies don't have a defensive stance >quicksilver bullets are a consumable for whatever reason, instead they should have been just a risk/reward move consuming posture/stamina >charge for backstabs do not make any sense >crits scaling off skill make no sense as well, it should just scale from your damage and crit modifiers >some maps could have been bigger and more detailed >farming for consumables is just a waste of time, they should just refill automatically like estus does >20 blood vials is too much >blood vials are too fast >farming blood vials makes no sense, should also just refill like estus >not really a problem but the game would have benefited from having more weapons >locking infusions behind specific chalice dungeons are kinda dumb, pull you out of the game to look up for a code >why not give me the ability to infuse the weapons myself >gems are a good idea in theory, but end up being too grindy, could have been NG+ specific rewards
chromatic aberration, motion blur , sub 30fps, lvl up only on hunter dream, shit healing system, lack of weapons, boring magic, boring lore, boring city to explore, lowest variety of enemies of all souls games , copypaste chalice dungeons, ugly ui, lame soundtrack, terrible sound design, atrocious loadings on release, disguting diarrhea colour pallete, lack of pvp, lack of fun online features and so on

False
it's 30fps and stuck on a sonybro console
dumb Black person that doesn't understand what motion blur is
terrible base game

Not even him and I like Bloodborne but this is false purely because of the fact it’s the last fromsoft game you can’t rebind jump in.
Then you must be a fake fan, because in Bloodborne you have the best combat its fast and fluid and has very deep mechanics
nioh 2 is in a different league from soulshit combat
Nioh 2 is like indie game next to Bloodborne lmao, have you even played Bloodborne?
I dont see the issue.
>nioh 2 is in a different league from soulshit combat
Only deranged autists think Nioh 2's combat is good.
Would be faster if you didn’t have to wait nearly a second to press O without locking into a jump.
I can't. I'm not obsessed with these games like others are but this game and Elden Ring are too unique for me to ignore.
>Elden Ring
>unique

skill issue it had the best pvp of all time
Having to pay for multiplayer. That's totally on Sony though.
you dont need to pay for multiplayer.
Yes, you do.
You need to pay Sony for the privilege of using your own internet connection to access the PS Plus service.
True scumbaggery.
you do

That's a plus though.
no it isn't
you don't play bloodborne
low res and low fps is the only bad thing, but that's just because Sony refuse to patch/port it on better hadware
>15 fps

30 fps
Mergos wet nurse is waaaay to easy to beat
I remember the frame rate being bad back in the day, but I went back to replay a bit of bloodborne not long ago after years of playing everything at 60fps or above on my high end PC and it felt like I was playing underwater.
Good for you anon. Anyone who's serious about playing Bloodborne at 60fps will just hack a PS4 Pro to unlock the framerate.
Too short. Frame rate.
stuck on a shitty console for too long, I hope sony remaster this piece of shit so it gets ported to pc, so people finally realize is a mid game that is just carried by its aesthetic. Also it would mean that snoys would lose their only good exclusive (that isnt even that good lol)
it's stuck on the ps4, other than that it's the perfect game
It's not on pc yet so i can't play it
Personal preference but I hate Bloodborne's weapons, give me some dark souls swords and magic.
there are swords, and magic (kinda)
