I actually have played it for a couple hours but it was weird. I think I used one of the super overpowered crossbow homies I wasn't supposed to use and it was unbalanced and kinda unfun.
either way it's also pay to win and live service and I don't care enough to play that
it's just easier (and funnier) to say I haven't played it

How the frick do you start puddles/bloodles CHIMPS without some kind of pixel perfect placement mod? I die within the first few rounds every time following 40.0 Youtube guides and my placements look the exact same.

The actual ranked modes and the most difficult main single player mode, CHIMPS, don't allow any of the paid stuff. If you actually play the game as intended instead of being a speedrun autist, there is no point in even buying any of the paid stuff in the first place since you get it all just by playing the game. The only actual feature locked behind a paywall is double cash, but you can easily black border every map with cash drops and insta monkeys anyways without spending any real money.
024 ice within x3x village range, don't use global towers like snipers/aces at all or it will frick it up. I recommend hard standard on beginner maps. Impoppable is technically more efficient, but the higher prices and 1 life limit are a pain in the ass for grinding purposes.
they're making a card game next so we'll have to see how that goes

other than grinding out sapper and golden bloons I don't think it would be that bad to finish them, I'm just lazy. I'd also probably have to look up the hidden ones. I recall there being an achievement for beating an expert map on chimps with a T5 spike (and I assume that's the one I'm missing that gives a spike) which might be a bit tricky. Though with recent the middle path buffs that might not be too bad perhaps.
Shame I missed the one daily a long time ago that was a free sapper completion and then they nerfed legend of the night so it could never happen again.
youre supposed to do perma spike for the spike one iirc. fairly doable on dark castle though.

yeah I know perma spike is the intended solution but last I checked all they do is nerf it. I was just wondering if with the new buffs that's still the better of the two paths to use
the other one makes sense since before the more recent change you had to sit around with geraldo for a while to max one out and there's really no reason to bother, other than the achievement I guess.
perma is probably still better as part of your actual defence tbdesu. spike storm is very good in its niche but carpet of spikes kinda becomes a waste of money imo

5-2-0 glue gunner at the very front of the track with nothing else that can hit the entrance. support him with a primary village if youre doing impoppable
Bottom ice tower with no other towers in range. A single mid path is fast enough but quickly needs a MiB so 2 top cross path is better.
For doing it on magic only bottom path ninja spam.

I think they should try an orcs must die type game. The game is third person, the hero monkeys are your playable characters and have skills like in risk of rain for example, then the bloons come in waves on a 3d map and you can call in and upgrade monkeys like usual. It would be pure kino.

all bloons are controlled by the same mind. so in a sense, yes, they are sentient, but you aren't really killing anyone when popping a bloon because the original bloon's body is elsewhere.
They just need to evolve the tower defense genre. There's plenty of ways. Going FPS or TPS is the obvious one.
