i think it's a little sad that the top comp doesnt combine midori and momoi for damage, even though it makes from a mechanics standpoint
I replaced Iori in the top comp with Midori, same cost and similar function but with the bonus of allowing my characters to survive, got my 1T but slightly below April Chesed's platinum cutoff so I'll probably be crying in a few days
Surely their maid alts will be good and have excellent synergy, haha...
uh after Ako Himari era, Midori was never seen anymore in chesed. Her poison debuff is only good in specific jdf

I think you're supposed to clear using Mika with 5 EX
that does explain it, then highrolling for mika EX damage is unnecessary, but is hard to keep the team alive after 4 EX.
yeah you need to react fast with cherino ex. I did 3 open chesed in my team here
managed to get a fifth EX on mika, but fricked up somewhere where it left chesed with 2.2m hp, so still have to clean it up with a 3T

The introduction of so many characters that do the same thing reducing defense while dealing AOE purple damage makes me wonder if this is a red herring to distract people from some additional mechanic that will frick them over if they're not prepared for it. Like having to heal the whole team slowly over time.

I've been testing comps since I also don't have S.Shiroko or NY.Haruka, so far my best has been 1:07 remaining with the top team, if you don't have NYFuuka then the bottom one can do the groggy setup with around 30s remaining instead. S.Hanako is UE40, Cherino is UE30, Miyu is UE40. NYAru or Kokona both work well to speed up your rotation too if you have them, but I don't so I can't try them out.

Ui S.Hosh Cherino Mika Ako Himari. The slightly slower version of the 3core everyone's running.

Like holy SHIT I'm going to scream because either Ui randomly dies, Cherino randomly walks to the front because she's the tank now, mika simply dies because Cherino failed to kill the wave, etc etc.
Kind of want to cut nyfuuka from the 1st team and try the kokona one to see if its easier and less painful
Yeah the Kokona one should be a lot safer. No red armor on that team so you don't need to kill turrets immediately, Kokona can help heal if Goliath targets Mika, etc. Should be better to go for that one if you can.
Issue is that idk what to replace fuuka with because my p1 crumbles whenever I do which has been my main issue
What p1 are you using? If you have NYAru you can do the NYAru Cherino Ui strat, it still works really well outdoors since at this point Nyaru is just a cycler to reach Cherino faster.

I tried the video guy one with SShiroko but I don't have her and replacements there went badly too
I tried a borrow Himari comp, using S.Hanako as main clearer instead of Cherino. Seems okay, can surely be improved from this since I haven't quite figured out the rotation yet.
The video guy did a Serina one too but I don't like it a lot because it runs into the timer a ton and requires a middle team to set up groggy
Yeah two tank 1 healer seems too slow. This is probably meant to be a stable clear where not much can go wrong, using groggy setup teams is actually pretty easy and I'd recommend that over malding team 1 especially when you know you'll have to spend quite a bit of time on team 2.

I should note I tried S.Hoshi + Ako rent before this over Tsubaki Himari but my S.Hoshi kept dying even with Ako heal so I swapped to this one instead.

Maybe something like this? The main thing I hate from the video above is that it is extremely painful to clear the 2nd room without Momoi or Cherino dying so I was trying to see what can get me more killing power while still being somewhat safe
Now I need to see if I can reproduce it because this was mostly a random shit go sort of thing without a rotation in mind
The most important thing to prevent those two from dying is pretty much just making sure you have full cost before you finish off the first wave and spawn the Goliath. It also helps if they are still toward the back of the room rather than amid where the second wave spawns.

How do I even do this? Cherino always finds herself getting gangbanged by everything on the left side while Momoi tends to get wrecked by everything on the right so if I didn't have a full cost bar then odds are one of them died or both
Make sure the final enemy you kill is one of the soldiers that runs in from the top left. I start the room by doing Cherino immediately, S.Hanako to clear the right side as much as possible, then aiming her second shot at the top left group of soldiers. If they're the final ones alive then whiffing her attack on 1 or 2 will leave you time to regen meter while they aa them down. Then when the goliath spawns in, Cherino on the whole group + S.Hanako on the top spawning soldiers should make everybody safe. At this point I wait for the second wave to come in to Momoi them, then S.Hanako the entire room again to finish off the stragglers. If done right enemies don't really get a chance to attack Cherino/Momoi, and hopefully the goliath is attacking Tsubaki instead.
I wish Tsurugi was better. She has such a cool and unique fighting style that I wish I could take advantage of more, but it's just not as flexible as the likes of Cherino/Momoi/S.Hanako, even after getting multiple buffs.

are there any mistakes i should be wary of as a new player? im afraid to spend any of the kakeras at the shop and things like that. i cleared out the misaka collab event shop as best as i can with my weak team and now im just working on story again. im not worried about pushing content super hard or anything i just dont want to do anything ill regret i guess
When it comes to your gacha resources, if you want to maximize and not roll for waifu or stuff like that, you should save up for the anniversary banner as you have 2x or 3x chance to get 3* students
Also, don't roll for permanent students whose shards can be farmed (Shiroko, Hoshino, and some others), simply farm the hard stages to get their shards, it will take you around 1 to 2 months but you'll save up gems
can i just find out online if they can be farmed or not then? i didnt realise thats a mechanic

The ones farmable in the shop you can find in the shop. But most of the time we get banners of students that aren't farmable just so you know. The last time we had a farmable student in the gacha was with Azusa in July.

I wonder if they're really stronger than Nonomi and Sumire or just more cost-effective since most people don't have Nonomi and Sumire built to the same level as Nyutsuki, Shanako and Smiyu
There's also C.Saya who apparently does a lot of damage after her bond gear buff, but her AOE is so painfully narrow I don't want to bother investing in her and just use S.Miyu instead because she feels like a more flexible option.

So her EX has two parts, one is the regular part not affected by prayers, and the other part is determined by how many prayers in multiples of 10 she has, and that part alone has guaranteed crits.

It's not, and also Chesed while closed only takes 10% damage, then the 10x damage debuff it suffers brings it back to taking a normal 100% damage.

Yes, should I be using her instead of Tsubaki? Or with her? I've mostly used the Tsubaki/Iori/Serina strat.
Use Marina as your only tank, use her EX together with Serina's to keep Marina healed up and way at the front, gathering all the robots to herself as they get blasted by Iori's EX
You can also bring Nonomi in that team too, ideally Cherino

You get to secure your seasonal max rank reward in case you don't normally touch #1 during the season, and you get slightly more daily income in high ranks from the get go, rather than climbing up for a couple weeks.

So how do you decide when to use the official romanization and when it's moronic enough to warrant an override?
There's no real rule, and I'm not equipped to make the call with any linguistic background, so I just go with what feels right, really.
Ingame identifier is "Hyakkayouran" which just seemed wrong. I only just searched through EN files and found out they do use that same transliteration.
I'm not exactly happy with either variant though. Hyakkaryoran an acceptable middle ground maybe?
Hyakkayouran is definitely a typo, so it follows that Hyakkaryouran would be the proper romanization.
Ryoran and Ryouran are just romanization choices.
youran is a non-existent word that is blatantly incorrect.
It proves they can get things wrong in the identifiers/code bringing back the whole Alice/Aris debacle
The weird thing is that "Hyakkayouran" is all over the global client EN script as well. Barring pretty large rewrite (which happens but isn't too common), it's just gonna be what global gets.

It's not weird when you consider that they just saw the word in the code and thought it was correct without even confirming it by knowing either Japanese or Korean.
The Korean word for it directly translates into Hyakkaryoran too yes, it's one of those 4 character idioms.

If you don't have enough cc/stun students, even the lowest difficulty is problematic. Or if you don't have enough blue dmg. And if you don't critkill the middle fricker, it can easily add 10-20sec to your clear time.
This is the worst shit I've seen since I started playing. Shame since the idea is kinda neat.

After 6 months of silver with a 50/50 split between hardcore and extreme, Hovercraft was my first gold, Binah was by first insane, and Chesed was my first platinum.
I think that I now understand why people reroll, but whatever.
Surely we won't need Yukari to clear insane because S.Hanako can do the job for DPS right? Right?
they really fricked up the gimmick with this JFD by giving the bots a def buff. reckon not everyone has all these def down aoes. not to mention the reduced dmg buff + healing that one tank bot gets

It doesn't seem that impossible even if you don't even have the AoE def downs? I don't have any myself without renting and just went with the 3 rounds of cheap CCbots (sleepy tanuki, Hifumi, Hare) + a healer for the mech + popular buffers and Blue attackers in the remaining slots and still got the grade 4s done
Mostly all subpar 76k-78ks, but far from having to fall down to doing 2s or 3s
each retry makes me want to throw my phone into the wall so miss me with that shit

She depends a lot on spending a lot of cost on other students between her EXs which looks pretty inconvenient compared to Ichika and S.Hanako who can basically spam their EXs with impunity. So basically flip a coin on whether Yukari will be well-suited for the new raid or not. Minori looked pretty meh with her 7 cost skill until they added a raid that increases cost recovery in the second half and a tank that boosts cost recovery when dodging attacks and she suddenly became meta out of nowhere, so there's a tiny chance that the new raid will have mechanics that make Yukari shine above everyone else, so it feels like she'll either be trash or godly.
Her "desuno" is godly alright. I still see no use for sonic type at my stage of progression. I will just fit her in my blue team instead

Don't worry too much about it. You'll probably want one purple attacker to clear Area 24 normal to unlock the most recent cafe upgrade. I think Momiji can do the job if you throw her with a bunch of yellows and blues, and it's really easy to get her too since you'll get her eventually by just rolling for whatever 3* you want due to how high the rate for 2*s is.

Enemies have 12000 def and high evasion as well. They will try to kill your robot, the robot needs to be healed or you can interrupt the enemy normal skill (dialogue willl show above them) to stop them from doing incredibly high damage to your robot. When the smg robot is under 25% health it will slowly start healing itself back to 50%. If you have Mine, you can do one team with her and borrow another for two easy teams. S.Koharu, S.Hanako are peak dps for this. Other blue aoe like Hinata, NyMutsuki, BKarin are ok but need to mald accuracy if they aren't with a Mine. S.Ayane, Maki, Akane, Noa can be good for a cope 3rd team to single target everything down slowly.

It's to spurn FOMO I guess. By inserting a low-demand rerun banner, they reduce the window where you can decide if you want Yukari or not. Also if they give us a new banner right after Yukari, that gives us an opportunity whether we want to pull for Yukari or the new character. Slipping in a filler banner obfuscates future predictions and gives us less power to make informed choices.

They could have easily had regular Shigure's banner run alongside the onsen alts for 2 weeks since we had 2 dead weeks at the time, but they split it up into two 1 week banners instead, that way we couldn't choose to dump our rolls into O.Shigure after seeing the upcoming content in the stream because her banner had already passed so we had to choose whether to spend our rolls on O.Shigure without knowing anything about the collab, or take a risk and skip O.Shigure and hope the collab was something we would want to roll on.

The 10-roll becomes essentially a 0-roll if you don't want to roll any of the banners in the next 5 weeks after you get it. It's worth way less than 1000-1200 pyros you get from regular raids. I'd be more supportive if they added an extra month to the time limit or removed the time limit entirely but I guess they gotta exploit that FOMO
The timed tickets are pretty shit overall. Not so much because they expire per se, but because I have to now keep track of their timers, and I've often gone months without rolling so it's just a fricking waste.

It being a wiki and having quite a lot of traffic, hosting requirements for the whole thing aren't trivial, and just moving static content out isn't exactly something that can be reasonably done.

i would say it is kinda possible, you don't really need an optimised team if you have want get 27.5+, the towers are squishy, and probably just need 3-4 dps EX on hod to kill it. the only problem i see is that you need to proc every single kayoko's normal

Kikyou offers less than half of the elemental damage bonus those two give. She's still extremely good for having AOE defense down and purple damage bonus at the same time though. She absolutely powercreeps Kasumi as a support, reducing Kasumi's value to a 2nd or 3rd team torment fodder.

Personally, Shuro feels like the character I've been the most excited for in a very long while and would be my most wanted character as an anniversary unit since they clearly spent a ton of effort on her character and facial expressions but realistically I know she'll be NPC jailed and we'll only get to see her in 2025 at the earliest.
Vol. F was the payoff to two years' worth of story, so of course it's not gonna top that so soon. It needs to build itself up again, and we'll just have to wait and see. Personally, I'm still interested, particularly in the next Deca.

Rolling for Kikyou/Renge isn't a bad investment because they can be used in any blue AOE raid, especially Perorodzilla with its high defense. They aren't single-raid gimmicks like sMiyako or sNonomi.

We've only had S.Hanako to compare with so far, and she's better than most aoe blues. This might just be because she's fest unit, not sure how units like Yukari/Ichika/Renge compare, can probably check on schale. Kikyou/Kasumi might be good just for the def down on ex, but B.Asuna isn't really used that much to begin with so not sure if these two will be either.
Their moods don't really match Peroro/Goz so they would mainly be cope options, until we get purple in daikessen maybe

How does healing in Kurokage work? I know the Myouki's Intimidation skill keeps you from healing to max HP, but what does it mean by "Healing reduces the Myouki's Intimidation effect by overhealing amount"? Does every individual heal dispel a bit of the effect, so you want a lot of small heals like Hanako's to dispel more of the effect?
Any heal that goes over the cap of your current hp is reduced by a certain amount (down to 1/9 in torment) and that is used to remove the eroded hp.
Example:
Yuuka has 100k hp, gets corroded.
Yuuka drops to 90k/90k hp through corrosion.
Yuuka gets hit to 80k/90k.
Koharu heals her with an EX that should heal 40k.
10k of that is used to take Yuuka back to 90k/90k, however 30k is now considered overheal, put through the reduction (1/9) down to 3333, and that amount is used to counter the hp erosion. Yuuka is now at 93.3k / 93.3k hp.
The intimidation effect that corrodes your hp builds over time, so while small ticking heals may not be that good at healing your hp if it's been corroded too far, it may be useful if intimidation is applied too often for a standard burst heal to get back into your hand before the next application.

Now that the raid's been out for awhile I think this is actually wrong. Most likely the stat the 1/9 overheal changes is the stack count itself, not the corroded max hp. It's too easy to heal the max hp corrosion off for it to be that. If the number is directly removing stack count, then that means higher max hp doesn't brick you.

The stacks that reduce your max hp. So like the eye attack applies 1500 stacks, which amounts to 15% of your max hp. To remove 1500 stacks, you would have to overheal 9x that in torment, or 13500. Which isn't really that bad compared to what was initially thought with the 1/9 overheal directly increasing your max hp, since now that means higher max hp won't frick you up otherwise tanks would be unuseable.
Does that mean that conversely, having a lot of HP doesn't provide any additional protection against intimidation?
Yep, having a lot of hp offers nothing for intimidation. It only helps you not die if you get hit by something like his atg black hole attack or triple dash, but otherwise the boss doesn't seem to do that much damage as confusion is the main threat.

To put that into simple terms, tanks will recover from intimidation at a 1x rate and non-tanks will at a 0.5x rate

Let me try it this way. Assuming Koharu and Yuuka are on the field, Koharu with 30k hp and Yuuka with 100k hp. Both have 1000 stacks of intimidation, or 10% max hp. That means Koharu is now at 27k/27k hp and Yuuka is at 90k/90k. If you then use a 4500 heal while both are full hp, then in both cases that 4500 is treated as overheal, put through 1/9 torment multiplier and removes 500 intimidation stacks. The only difference is Yuuka with badge gets more healing received, so a 4500 heal on Koharu would probably be like 6k+ on Yuuka. However this is just because of her badge, not because of her higher max hp. Can you explain what you see that would make that wrong?
Nothing is wrong, you proved me right. Koharu was healed for 1.5k (1/3 of the healing amount which was 4.5k) and Yuuka was healed for 5k (cca 100% of the healing)

Accidentally entered non-mock insane without fully testing if I could beat it. Reset on my main purple team countless times, got it down to 1 million HP and ended up killing it with a trash blue/yellow team but I was a few seconds late and no more ticket. I know it's my fault for not paying attention when starting the match but god I'm so tilted that I lost a ticket over this.

Torment does a pretty good job preventing it I think, similar to Greg where the classic comp works on Insane but can't survive Torment. There just aren't any striker healers that can sustain at the level O.Shigure does.

Rumi's sub heal is way too weak to deal with Kurokage's 2nd phase intimidation. If it lasted half as long and was twice as potent maybe it'd be more useful.
Any fight that moves fast enough to stop you from saving up for burst should probably work
