Mika banner was January 24th, Wakamo's was January 26th, so we can probably expect the 23rd. CHare feels like the bait banner to drain gems before anni (still a must roll) so maybe we'll just get a couple reruns before anni starts.

As much as I love the chibi dangle animation, BA's UI is really subpar for setting up multiple teams when I have to keep faffing around with multiple menus.
If I could plan and allocate 4 Torment teams on one screen all at once I'd probably go for a lot more of them.

Blue Archive is weird in that the gacha rates are all recorded in the client data files. Not just the web probability view that opens when you click the probability button but actual data is stored in the same format as other random drops in the game. I'm not sure if anyone actually decompiled the code that handles the actual gacha rolls to see whether that data is really used to decide your roll or it just defers to the server as would be sane.
Guess BA can be considered safe then. Maybe Yostar had some influence and enforced non-lying rates.

Atleast enough to the point that getting to 3* isn't so much of a hassle since you can't generate elephs for them like other 1* by rolling.

We're like 10 days from 3rd anniversary, so you might want to either start an account and save up all your pyros till anni, or hold out to reroll on anniversary. Dumping a spark on anniversary banner/s ought to do wonters for filling out a new account.

It was a raffle entry through a company / app called eplus. I think I needed a Japanese phone number but I forget. You'd have to be in Japan though because you either need a Japanese credit card to pay or be able to go to a convenience store to pay

I'm not too sure how it works for comi to be honest because I buy the wristbands at melonbooks every time, so I could be just wrong about eplus. I do know that for the BA fest tickets it said "domestic cards only" under payment, and the only two options were credit card or convenience store pay. You could still probably make it work somehow, but I'm not sure. I did convenience store pay and it was easy

Very fast. I didn't rush to the store, I went and got my store pass after the opening ceremony. I was #6000, got called around 1:45 jst. I got the pass around 11:15 jst. Hina is still going strong, only dropped by one spot despite zero shilling between now and last year.
TYuuka dropped a fair bit before Hina and Hoshino but still going pretty strong. Regular Yuuka is probably mostly dead reroll accounts.

not sure where to ask this, but ive been trying to find out if the blue archive ost is open for everyone to use on yt free of copyright claims. i have little/no experience with the copyright systems and haven't found any official statements. considering how proliferated it is on yt even just straight up having the entire songs with just the album cover plus a few smaller channels claiming in the titles that its copyright free i'm guessing they're cool with people using it. it does make sense to me though given how great of a advertisement it serves, hell i'd never have touched the game once if the soundtrack wasn't so good. i'd say its almost on par with doom 2016's soundtrack in terms of quality.
If you're a big time youtuber or someone getting monetized then you're open to getting that copyright slap

Yeah I really dislike how they gave such a tiny time frame to play and finish the minigame while also giving it a daily requirement. If it didn't have that stupid daily reward I could read the story and play the minigame at my own pace and enjoy it but I'm just rushing through and skipping all of the text so I can go through it later and it's ruining the experience.

Looks like I was mistaken, sorry. The only quest with dailies is Curtain Call, the last one, and it's not unlocked yet. So you just have to read/skip the story and minigame parts that are available, and read them later if you want. The next part unlocks in 1 hour.
I also rushed it only to find out it doesn't unlock on day 1. Almost sure it didn't say that anywhere.

S.Hoshino is support, D.Hina is dps. But as for which one you should go for, it's hard to say. Whichever one you don't grab will have you regretting it pretty hard, probably better to just roll your 200 first in either banner and only decide on a spark after if you were unlucky enough to not get either.

s.hoshi is far more of a cornerstone, buffs cost regen and damage in any content (and way more in red) and can tank lots of stuff

Makoto is yellow Greg carry. If you're a beginner then I'd say just ignore her. Needs a lot of ligma for what's going to be a very small niche, you can just try to borrow her instead. Dress Ako is a big aoe party buffer, I think most of the time we will prefer to use the original version of Ako instead because it's a bigger buff, unless her normal skill def down is significant on Hiero or you're buffing multiple dps similar to Christmas Serina comps, but if you don't have original Ako you may really want to prioritize her.

I was a moron thinking I was more moronic than I was so I blindly tried copying the clear teams from the new feature, but everyone there was moronic and just unga bunga'd it with pure DPS
I thought I was failing the DPS check, which was weird since all the other challenges were so weak, but I spent half an hour retrying it
Then I figured out the mechanics and roflstomped it

I keep CCing her and nothing is happening
It's kinda hard to see but if you watch her carefully she'll have a sigil/symbol flash under her every 30-40 sec or so, then she'll launch an attack at the green healing tower in your backline that's trying to heal Ako/Iori, if you keep letting her do that she'll get her big robot and the AoE minigun add revived on her side before Ako/Iori get revived and take off her def stacks. Just have your finger on the trigger and fire sleepy tanuki or Hare or whatever you're using the moment you see her attack start.
You can probably also just ignore her and brute force with full buffs on your DPS once one of the prefects get healed though I haven't tried it myself since it doesn't seem like the challenges have timed quests this time around.
Now that we get to use dHina isnt her rotation even better and easier than sHanako

Presentation was amazing, I'll give it that. Looking forward to future events and main story updates using this style of minigame, though I don't expect it to happen that often due to the cost of assets involved.
I don't like how the event did almost nothing to make Gehenna as a school feel any different. Every single cliche people make fun of Gehenna for, every overused joke was regurgitated in this event. Pretty much zero new characterization for Makoto despite her being the catalyst of the event sucks too, I already knew long ago that she's got an inferiority complex and takes it out on Hina, so make her do something different for frick's sake. Also I want to frick Hina and she looks amazing in her dress but I still don't care about her as a character because this event has nothing new to say about her either. Must be frustrating for actual Hina fans to see their favorite girl get another repeat of the Gehenna summer event.

After getting Makoto like three days in and Ako yesterday I managed to get Iroha with the final 20 pulls today. Incredible luck that makes up for me having to go to 400 for the Railguns.
With 500ish pulls and 160ish Momotalks the only limiteds I'm still missing are Summer Mashiro/Hina/Iori and NY Haruna and Fuuka

auto tap strat on dhina isn't working as well as i thought, since her ex become 0 cost, during auto it will use the 0 cost ex and any other ex next if you have enough cost even if you are tapping really quickly
The strat is probably to do her initial EX on last remaining cost then toggle auto a couple times before enough cost is regenerated to cast anything else.
Someone really should should suggest a queueing system to devs, it would solve some of the worst framecounting and macro cancer.

after trying this for like an hour, this is definitely way easier than the other setup everyone else is using (which is just basically an updated version of the old hiero setup). there will probably be easier setups tomorrow when people actually do torment for real
Tried it a few times and got it down to 12 million. sHoshino absolutely needs to be at least UE40 with additional defense, I end up spamming sShizuko's EX just to keep my UE30 sHoshino alive. My dHina isn't UE50 either so that's 20% damage gone. Cleanup teams do basically no damage either. I don't have enough eligma to alleviate this issue this so I'll just cope with insane.

1T torment is reliant on tryharding, there isn't much difference other than increased stats requirement, the same problem remain if you can't clear it with a 1T + second cleanup team then you need to bodythrow a ton (p2 set your hp to 1 every min or so)

I just got to level 90, and I noticed that students that reach level 90 have a big "max" indicator on their level bar. Was that there before? I swear when the cap was 87 we were allowed to have some overflow and it didn't say max.
It was there before, yes.
In terms of changes, account level 90 has XP to next level value set to 1, so you get to start accumulating mastery certs instantly upon reaching 90, but you don't get to prefarm the xp to 91.

Ideally they should have added a skip option for repeated days if the player already did them the first time, something like "you have already done this field exploration previously, do you want to skip today and receive the rewards immediately? Yes/No"
Or just don't fricking do them if you're a lazy frick.

ideally they shouldn't have made that curtain call shit that you need to do every day, just spread it's contents between the other days and unlock one every couple days
so if you missed something just replay the day

I was and still honestly am seething about that. It looks like I'm 1) going to miss 1 of the unique days because I was fricking incapacitated and couldn't be playing video games properly and 2) going to miss leveling Hina up regardless because lol secret dailies : )
What the frick were they thinking? Were they trying to be cute? It's a super casual game, just fricking make it so you can rotate the "daily" events by going to sleep in Hina's room. I'll die mad.
There are no secret dailies and there are no unique days. Every day of tasks has been available twice. Every task is diplayed, the tasks were mentioned in the event announcement and in the in-game arona guide. There is a one day leeway to level to 20, and there isn't even any good reward for 20, since that's at 15.

This is a gacha game with limited time event not some console jrpg
all the other time limited events allowed you to wait until the final day to see and get everything
only exceptions, kind of, were dailies in a few events which gave like 30 stones a day and no story content, and technically world raids
this is the first time it's been a "you can only do xyz on these days and also if you're late you can't get everything" case

They often just use a duplicate entry as a placeholder for the next raid. We'll probably see what it really is with next maint, if it's not announced yet.

this has a bit more leeway but I think the score potential is lower because he isn't pushing as hard for perfect rng (first phase has option for who you heal so you can skip 1 jar)
Ah right, that guy. I didn't use his since he has a full team of level 90s. I have no reports left and could only level my Nagisa to 90. Wasn't sure if the level difference would be major.
I used that guide with full level 89 team with low bond and still worked. I lost a ticket due to infinite bad rng for the first dress hina rotation though since I learned the hard way you need to hit past 60% minimum
Azusa setup with NYfuuka shield to compensate honestly isn't much harder and usually scores higher. I think the #1 guy still uses a setup with azusa but his skill rotation is unknown because the startup is completely different with no guide
It's not really a difficulty thing, it's all a luck thing.
Regardless, you need to crit a lot to win and you either will or won't.
I honestly feel like DAko is a placebo for higher crit rate. On paper it is a real boost to rate but as I mentioned, I spent almost 2 hours and only got not even the ideal amount of crits at the very end of those almost 2 hours--I just got something near best.
It's fricking crazy how undertuned torment Hiero is compared to all the other torment raids

Speaking of which, I wonder why it's taking them so long to fix. It's an old trigger so it really should be well-worn in by now. If there's some bad code behind it that makes sense they'd need a client update to fix it.

6 times a day + PvP coins and the two-week stamina pack, but I forgot to refresh on the first day and I spent half of my stamina on reports on another day so I could have gotten a bit more
Badges having reduced HP at level1 vs T8 has been fixed

With Xmas, Wakamo Valentines next week and what is likely going to be another Valentines event the week after, we're probably gonna get another open week in a month at the earliest
It's probably because they stacked too many events too close to each other. gehenna party, then immediately christmas then added valentine's to perma list, then probably new valentine alongside with all the anniv things. there's way too many things at once
There's also the tier 9 equipment maps at the same time as the events.. that I just remembered and forgot to start to do
it's because the stream/anni would have been a disappointment if it was only the hina event

how lmao. this game takes less time than jp priconne even after they added the function that does the dailies for you. mostly because of unskippable things like CB, luna and SD. the only mobages I can think of that somehow take less time are the afk style ones.
That was annoying, but I made it to 4-4-4. Aru and the rabbit meme team saved the day.

This one is honestly not as bad some previous ones, I was nearly ready to seethe but decided to read the gimmick instead of being a caveman EOP and managed to clear it with uninvested multicolor teams.
I just wish they were consistent with how much the gimmick actually matters, some JFD's I could unga bunga bruteforce and others I was left with an impotent rage.
I just find doing the same mission 3 times a day over a week to be extremely tedious
