Green's skill does a frickload of damage in a narrow straight line. I've gotten some students killed by her before because they were right behind the tank she targeted.
Part break is determined by how much damage you do to a specific part. The parts rotate every 20s and are shown to you by the color aura around Kaiten. It goes from pink (right arm part - tied to gatling gun) to red (chest part - tied to missiles) to green (left arm part - tied to shield). When you deal 3.5m damage to a part on insane or 11m to a part on torment, it breaks the part, and the corresponding attack won't be used by Kaiten for the rest of the fight, nor will you see that color aura come back.

Red has the highest defense while the rest are all equal, Black has the highest dodge and Red has the second highest dodge while the rest are all equal. So the best targets are Green/Yellow/Pink. Black is equivalent if the character has greater than 550 accuracy, and Red is always the worst target, though some strats have D.Hina hitting Red anyway.
Red taunts, green does a machine gun line aoe spray, yellow does a single target missile that deals massive damage on contact, pink buffs the rest of the team, black applies an increased damage taken debuff to her target.

I did one practice kaiten tmt that went through and settled with that. I decided I was going to aim for a proper clear if my rank dropped too much but it didn't so I slept.

B.Karin is also possible but her cone is rather narrow. S.Hanako has a much wider cone but bad mood. My bet's on Ibuki+Iroha.

I liked the event but it was a bit disappointing for a follow-up to TTT (since this is the organization that Kasumi fricked with). It's fine as a fluff excuse to put them in nice dresses (though I wish enemy Saori had her dress SD already) but I was hoping for a bit more.
They keep on adding excess new animations to strikers while specials still have no standby pose in the team screen, no dangles, and no victory animations. It's infuriating.

the devs are probably slowly moving the meta away from himari/ako, which makes me lean towards thinking that students like camp hare, dress aru, etc are generally a safe roll long term

You should have been doing them since mid-eighties, really. Chesed isn't the optimal one to dip your toes in since it will require two teams and might be light on invested students still, but at least run some practice tries to see what's what.
I reached level cap last month and managed insane Hiero and Kaiten just fine but I'm just gonna extreme Chesed. Don't have enough resources to be investing in students like Nanami at this point. Maybe if I had Cherino and didn't have to borrow Ako or NyFuuka I'd try.

I think it depends on what tier of box you're trying to get. Like, for 3 you need 3s and for 2 you need 2s, but I don't know.

Shun is famously useful for the fact that she always gives extra cost at the start of battle. Most of the time she's used in pvp because of this, but she can also be used in a bunch of content for faster clears.
Similarly Swimsuit Shiroko starts every battle by lowering everyone's cost by 1, making her quite useful.

It looks like a more generic item-based implementation of PickupDuplicateBonus, the latter is used to provide extra fragments for on-banner character dupes in the gacha. Since the table is empty for now I haven't tried looking any deeper; we'll know once it gets populated anyway.

Only if you really like Junko. There are a lot of event welfare characters that are worth farming over whatever the current x2 bonus is, but unfortunately nyJunko isn't one of them.
NY.Haruna used to be a top tier red DPS but she's been powercreeped by S.Hina and specials for AOE, and D.Hina for single target. She's mostly used for PVP these days so unless you want to be competitive there then don't bother with her.
NY.Akari has a nice AOE blue buff but she feels too expensive and lasts too short of a time IMO, if she lasted 45 seconds or more I'd recommend her. She fills a niche of buffing all your strikers instead of just one like NY.Kayoko so she could be used to buff a bunch of autoattackers like Izuna and C.Utaha, it's just her cost doesn't feel worth her deployment time. Maybe I'll be proven wrong and she'll kick ass in Goz, who knows.

Culture festivals in Japan are usually around September, some are in June-July though, but definitely not early April

They're behind schedule, they don't have anything else to release.
Look at the Valentine's event: they aligned the updates so that there would be an update on 2/14, but then instead of the Valentine's event they released a rerun on that day and the Valentine's event a week later. It was clearly delayed at the last minute.
Yeah it's a great time to start. The current limited unit, New Year Fuuka, is an extremely good support and she'll be a huge help to your teams in the long run.

It's a bit of a mixed bag. Feels like the average by-the-numbers gacha/game/VN adaptation will attempt to add a really shitty pared-down version of the plot, or a super generic anime-original plot, that can end up being bad enough to drive potential newcomers off instead. The biggest low-effort anime trap may be trying to seriously adapt Abydos's plot and the climax with Black Suit (and to be fair, Ch1 probably is the weakest arc and was also probably written before they had a better idea of what they wanted with Kaiser and the girls' powers and all the shit with schools and contracts).
Might actually be less common to have an comfy adaptation these days that just sells the girls' relationships, SoL event writing, and sex appeal, but that'd probably be safer than trying to incorporate any more serious plot elements.

It's really wild how people with obviously huge franchises and plenty of cash flow opt for the most bland shit time and time again. I honestly don't get it, it's like they feel pressured to do an anime because that's what is expected to happen, but nobody internally actually wants it, or wants to be responsible for it, or sees any reason for it to exist, so everyone just goes through the motions to the lowest possible extent. They are clearly not concerned with delivering some artistic vision or anything, and there isn't some grand story that needs cross-media adaptation, so why not just get literally any director/studio with a spark and let them run wild? The worst that can happen is the same gray joyless slop, but at least there's SOME possibility of something interesting coming out of it.

I've come to really appreciate the anime adaptations for Galaxy Angel and Milky Holmes because they don't even try to adapt the stories of their original games but instead opt for something different and fun with a shift in mood so that people who experience both could get some variety each time, and they were given to extremely talented writers and animators who could pull that off excellently.

Binah's rotation isn't set, instead he alternates between autoattack and skill use. Laser as a skill has a higher priority than missile. If all skills are on cooldown, he does another aa instead. By interrupting him before the missile, the missile never goes on cooldown so his next skill use will be laser (as it's now off cooldown) and the skill use after that will be missile. If you wait until he starts the missiles to groggy him, then missiles go on cooldown and you'll get the aa laser aa aa aa laser pattern that you were expecting.
Nope. Binah is incredibly competitive due to how easy it is and most players don't do grand assault until the very last day so there's gonna be a ton of people coming in to kick you out of your place.

They don't show up at all. I even put Misaka and Shokuhou's furniture in my cafe and that doesn't trigger them either.

dKayoko is niche anyways. Half of the raid bosses do constant chip damage to your whole party, so she's only useful for single-target damage against the raids that only attack your tank

There's literally nothing to fix. Cost reductions are implemented as buffs. Ui's EX buff lasts for 2 EX casts from the affected character. This does not change and dHina is not exempt from this buff behavior.

It pisses me off that interactive furniture increases the spawn rate of its related student. I can't decorate my cafe with cool looking stuff without getting too much affection with some girls.

There is no doubt in my mind that it will be paypiggable somehow, though the question is how effective it will be. If it's like 5k yen per 10 attack, it's not a very good investment unless you're Elon.
I would expect the limit break thing to be a sink for existing materials primarily. Not a huge fan of this, I get the logic behind moving the goal ever further, but if feels good to have a character just... completed, and with this mechanic likely none will ever be.
Was there a promise that buffs are tuned individually per-student? Otherwise somebody else (most people, realistically, looking at cookie cutter raids) would just dump same resources into a better baseline student and move the actual meta upwards.
Probably the most unfun BA stream I've seen so far. Tourist guide alts do nothing for me, and the implementation of the new raid/mode looks extremely tedious to deal with. Top that with no new farmables, no QOL updates, no bond gears, nothing that looks to improve my player experience, only potentially worsen it. The only slightly exciting announcements were Umika's banner and Gregorius returning.

Would've been okay with no borrowing at all since it's not like you miss mats if you can't clear, you just have to wait for the rerun. It's primarily a challenge mode to test your account's strength and borrowing kinda dilutes that.

Not a shitpost. I genuinely think they've been making nothing but bad decisions since Volume F. There hasn't been any soul in this game for a long time now. It's crazy how great events after 1st anniversary were, we had non stop banger after banger, and they kept dumping great story events on us. Yeah. It might have been heavily focused on Trinity but at least we were getting consistent updates and the events accompanying the story were diverse enough to excuse it. Bluefes 2 truly was the peak. 2.5 was embarrassingly bad, and 3, while not as terrible, was just another excuse to fellate Hina's character even more with everyone else just playing second fiddle to her. And, after all that, they just dumped Volume 5 to go back to 1 since they realized it was a failure. But they couldn't even give us substantial content for that! Only one introductory chapter! This game used to be good, but I don't know anymore.

To be honest there's definitely a lot about this fight that I don't understand. Quite often when running this, the entire party except for Atsuko wiped near the end due to one of Set's larger attacks. I think that in general the idea with this setup is "keep everyone healed", but there's a little more to it like how you can get a faster immediate heal by canceling Atsuko's running ex with a new instance (or OShigure but that doesn't work as well). Also, the left obelisk is healed passively by Atsuko. Use ALL of Kokona's ex heals on the RIGHT OBELISK. Never any of your students.
This is a very painful boss, but I can feels slight peace knowing you don't need NYAkari to beat it.

Kaiten's moves are random and the part break happens when you fill the groggy gauge
What I still don't know is the different rangers' difference in DEF and what their special moves are besides red's being taunt
Green's skill does a frickload of damage in a narrow straight line. I've gotten some students killed by her before because they were right behind the tank she targeted.
Part break is determined by how much damage you do to a specific part. The parts rotate every 20s and are shown to you by the color aura around Kaiten. It goes from pink (right arm part - tied to gatling gun) to red (chest part - tied to missiles) to green (left arm part - tied to shield). When you deal 3.5m damage to a part on insane or 11m to a part on torment, it breaks the part, and the corresponding attack won't be used by Kaiten for the rest of the fight, nor will you see that color aura come back.
Red has the highest defense while the rest are all equal, Black has the highest dodge and Red has the second highest dodge while the rest are all equal. So the best targets are Green/Yellow/Pink. Black is equivalent if the character has greater than 550 accuracy, and Red is always the worst target, though some strats have D.Hina hitting Red anyway.
Red taunts, green does a machine gun line aoe spray, yellow does a single target missile that deals massive damage on contact, pink buffs the rest of the team, black applies an increased damage taken debuff to her target.

Yeah. If you don't put any strikers in your team, your opponent can't attack anyone, so they lose. I saw a guy on my server hit #1 in pvp rankings at level 32.

I liked the event but it was a bit disappointing for a follow-up to TTT (since this is the organization that Kasumi fricked with). It's fine as a fluff excuse to put them in nice dresses (though I wish enemy Saori had her dress SD already) but I was hoping for a bit more.

I think a lot of previous supports that don't get much use will get more attention because beating torment will probably become the norm. dress aru seems to be pretty up there as far as striker supports

I find it hard to justify rolling for D.Aru when she does the same thing as Ako, D.Ako, NY.Fuuka, and X.Serina. Unless you don't have any of those students or Aru is your waifu.
ako and nyfuuka are specials and dress ako and christmas serina use aoe EX with much lower numbers. we're moving to where torment clears are normal now so multiple teams are gonna be needed. dress ako and christmas serina look pretty similar on paper but basically no one used serina during torment hiero, and something like half the plat rankers used dress ako
the devs are probably slowly moving the meta away from himari/ako, which makes me lean towards thinking that students like camp hare, dress aru, etc are generally a safe roll long term

They lost 8 keystones for every 3 node craft, regardless of whether they used keystones to unlock those further nodes.

You have to have an extra amount of free space as a buffer. Not sure how much. Start removing some useless apps.

You should have been doing them since mid-eighties, really. Chesed isn't the optimal one to dip your toes in since it will require two teams and might be light on invested students still, but at least run some practice tries to see what's what.
I reached level cap last month and managed insane Hiero and Kaiten just fine but I'm just gonna extreme Chesed. Don't have enough resources to be investing in students like Nanami at this point. Maybe if I had Cherino and didn't have to borrow Ako or NyFuuka I'd try.

If it takes you two openings to kill off Chesed, you might want to shift UI + Cherino into the second team, replacing Kokona and Nomi. Boss killing team as really Cost-starved, unlike the mobbing one with long stretches of running about.
You really shouldn't need much healing to survive the boss, so specials could be any buffers you could scrounge or Karing/other stat stick.

Nah. I was rank 10k this morning with my sloppy Insane clear, I doubt that many people will try Torment. Chesed can be really fricking annoying in some numerous tiny, awful ways. I did it but almost lost my ticket on it.

I did some calculations and if I didn't frick up, doing valentines should give you about half as much EXP reports as 2x EXP commissions AND about twice as much credits as 2x credit commissions, overall 2.5x higher stamina efficiency
you probably want to farm the event stages for the ooparts anyway, older ooparts are still a bottleneck
why can't I use some of the furniture in the crafting thing to make furniture boxes?
I got 2 of Ui's in a tier 3 craft but don't need 3 of them so I want to fuse 2 into a furniture select box but it's not showing up in the list when crafting the select box
I think it depends on what tier of box you're trying to get. Like, for 3 you need 3s and for 2 you need 2s, but I don't know.

Shun is famously useful for the fact that she always gives extra cost at the start of battle. Most of the time she's used in pvp because of this, but she can also be used in a bunch of content for faster clears.
Similarly Swimsuit Shiroko starts every battle by lowering everyone's cost by 1, making her quite useful.

I got it to die with one Mika shot using swimsuit Ui, putting swimsuit Shiroko in the second team and borrowing Himari, opening the core with Iori
She ALSO targets the backline. Basically, she's very good.

It looks like a more generic item-based implementation of PickupDuplicateBonus, the latter is used to provide extra fragments for on-banner character dupes in the gacha. Since the table is empty for now I haven't tried looking any deeper; we'll know once it gets populated anyway.

NY.Haruna used to be a top tier red DPS but she's been powercreeped by S.Hina and specials for AOE, and D.Hina for single target. She's mostly used for PVP these days so unless you want to be competitive there then don't bother with her.
NY.Akari has a nice AOE blue buff but she feels too expensive and lasts too short of a time IMO, if she lasted 45 seconds or more I'd recommend her. She fills a niche of buffing all your strikers instead of just one like NY.Kayoko so she could be used to buff a bunch of autoattackers like Izuna and C.Utaha, it's just her cost doesn't feel worth her deployment time. Maybe I'll be proven wrong and she'll kick ass in Goz, who knows.

It's a bit of a mixed bag. Feels like the average by-the-numbers gacha/game/VN adaptation will attempt to add a really shitty pared-down version of the plot, or a super generic anime-original plot, that can end up being bad enough to drive potential newcomers off instead. The biggest low-effort anime trap may be trying to seriously adapt Abydos's plot and the climax with Black Suit (and to be fair, Ch1 probably is the weakest arc and was also probably written before they had a better idea of what they wanted with Kaiser and the girls' powers and all the shit with schools and contracts).
Might actually be less common to have an comfy adaptation these days that just sells the girls' relationships, SoL event writing, and sex appeal, but that'd probably be safer than trying to incorporate any more serious plot elements.

I honestly don't get it, it's like they feel pressured to do an anime because that's what is expected to happen, but nobody internally actually wants it, or wants to be responsible for it, or sees any reason for it to exist, so everyone just goes through the motions to the lowest possible extent. They are clearly not concerned with delivering some artistic vision or anything, and there isn't some grand story that needs cross-media adaptation, so why not just get literally any director/studio with a spark and let them run wild? I've come to really appreciate the anime adaptations for Galaxy Angel and Milky Holmes because they don't even try to adapt the stories of their original games but instead opt for something different and fun with a shift in mood so that people who experience both could get some variety each time, and they were given to extremely talented writers and animators who could pull that off excellently.

Why the frick is Binah skipping one laser in my attempt? It gets downed before the first missile, then goes into phase two and shoots missiles after the first laser
Binah's rotation isn't set, instead he alternates between autoattack and skill use. Laser as a skill has a higher priority than missile. If all skills are on cooldown, he does another aa instead. By interrupting him before the missile, the missile never goes on cooldown so his next skill use will be laser (as it's now off cooldown) and the skill use after that will be missile. If you wait until he starts the missiles to groggy him, then missiles go on cooldown and you'll get the aa laser aa aa aa laser pattern that you were expecting.

There's literally nothing to fix. Cost reductions are implemented as buffs. Ui's EX buff lasts for 2 EX casts from the affected character. This does not change and dHina is not exempt from this buff behavior.

Probably the most unfun BA stream I've seen so far. Tourist guide alts do nothing for me, and the implementation of the new raid/mode looks extremely tedious to deal with. Top that with no new farmables, no QOL updates, no bond gears, nothing that looks to improve my player experience, only potentially worsen it. The only slightly exciting announcements were Umika's banner and Gregorius returning.

Sucks that we can still only borrow one student though despite the teams being twice as big and having to beat the boss with a single team (no body throwing allowed like with other raids)
Would've been okay with no borrowing at all since it's not like you miss mats if you can't clear, you just have to wait for the rerun. It's primarily a challenge mode to test your account's strength and borrowing kinda dilutes that.

Not a shitpost. I genuinely think they've been making nothing but bad decisions since Volume F. There hasn't been any soul in this game for a long time now. It's crazy how great events after 1st anniversary were, we had non stop banger after banger, and they kept dumping great story events on us. Yeah. It might have been heavily focused on Trinity but at least we were getting consistent updates and the events accompanying the story were diverse enough to excuse it. Bluefes 2 truly was the peak. 2.5 was embarrassingly bad, and 3, while not as terrible, was just another excuse to fellate Hina's character even more with everyone else just playing second fiddle to her. And, after all that, they just dumped Volume 5 to go back to 1 since they realized it was a failure. But they couldn't even give us substantial content for that! Only one introductory chapter! This game used to be good, but I don't know anymore.

non-whales usually just UE50 fes students (except shoshino she doesn't benefit much) since they are widely used in majority of the contents
other limited students can also be brought to UE50 given enough time since the monthly shards heavily reduced the amount of resources needed

Don't interrupt any normals other than SIzuna's. The order I provided shouldn't ever have important buffs getting interrupted, but it's possible.
Never actually use SHifumi, even if it's tempting.
To be honest there's definitely a lot about this fight that I don't understand. Quite often when running this, the entire party except for Atsuko wiped near the end due to one of Set's larger attacks. I think that in general the idea with this setup is "keep everyone healed", but there's a little more to it like how you can get a faster immediate heal by canceling Atsuko's running ex with a new instance (or OShigure but that doesn't work as well). Also, the left obelisk is healed passively by Atsuko. Use ALL of Kokona's ex heals on the RIGHT OBELISK. Never any of your students.
This is a very painful boss, but I can feels slight peace knowing you don't need NYAkari to beat it.

There's a CharacterPotentialExcelTable that lists three potential-enabled stats for each of 177 characters. This links character ids to PotentialStatGroupId in CharacterPotentialStatExcelTable, which lists 26 possible Potential levels (including 0), for each group. Some characters share PotentialStatGroupIds, so this table contains only 1560 objects.
Furthermore, there's CharacterPotentialRewardExcelTable, which lists, for each character, that the three potentials must all reach specifically level 25 each to unlock the relevant character title.
Boy, that sure looks like a robust flexible system that would allow devs to hand-tune bonusii to some interesting ends!
Here's what the bonuses actually are: 0.2% per level. Regardless of character and stat name, it's 0.2% of their raw natural stat value at given level.
That's it, this is the entire system.
Healing is also marked as "Unnecessary" for some characters, I'm not sure if game UI ever shows this though.
If you try to add healing to a character who doesn't use it the system will give you a warning message first.

borrowed sakurako is only UE40, hoshino 4*, himari 3*, and all skills aren't maxed
tried swapping hanako with oshigure for more damage but still can't do it
UE50 sakurako and maxed damage boosting skills make a huge difference
my EX skills are all maxed, it's just stuff like kotama's passive is level 7 instead of maxed
surely that's not going to double my damage? I must be doing the rotation wrong somehow
kotama's normal and subskill does not benefit from levels
there's also the small benefits from the additional atk stats from having 5* supports
not familiar with this particular comp, but juggling nykayoko EX buff between sakurako and sizuna is important

Make sure your buffs are always refreshed every 30s, don't use Sakurako ex more often than that, always make sure you kill red balls when they are in the middle of your team, alternate your Kayoko between Sakurako and S.Izuna, make sure the left obelisk is always full health so that the red circle lightning attack always hits it, try replacing T.Yuuka with T.Hasumi or S.Tsurugi.
