LDPlayer had issues in the past, got clean for a while but recently introduced ads, otherwise is the current best
MuMu Player has some features LD lacks but misses some instead, plus I've been experiencing some weird random slowdowns for no reason at all
WSA just works, least features of them all but it's the cleanest environment, albeit a b***h to setup
Google Play Games, despite being made by Google, manages to be even more barebones than WSA, or at least it was the last time I checked

WSA's performance for games was still too shitty to consider last I tried it a few months ago.
WSA and google were my biggest hopes to finally ditch all these shit emulators but both companies seem to just be fricking around and getting nowhere.
I only tested Arknights as it's the only phone game I play and Blue Archive too, but I usually just play that on iPad and it wasn't too bad
Google is so behind on features I would never recommend it

Tap to collect some items that appear on screen, get tons of awards and achievements, like every few seconds, that you have to tap to collect. Time based collection of items, long run times of things they can be sped up with limited items. Bunch of different currencies so it's all confusing, huge push to buy stuff in store. Every game is the samr with a different coat of paint.

Buy a prepaid phone from a carrier that wont include a bunch of bloatware. Seriously 2gb of ram + android 11 is all you need to run basically every app ever developed for Android. A 60$ smartphone like the A series like the A03/A14/whatever is designed for just that. The only downside is that it has pretty limited storage capacity and android has issues running apps off of an SD card from what I've heard. If you shoot higher the galaxy s10 was way overspecced for its time and can be grabbed for under 200 now. You don't need to actually activate the phone you can use wifi and the play store without a sim

You can use a controller on the phone too. You connect via Bluetooth. I used a DS4 when testing out openmw for instance

I tried wsa around 2 months ago using that exact github repo and fgo was like a slideshow. my pc has a ryzen 5 5600 and a rx 6650 XT so it's not super high end but it's not old either. maybe that hardware still isn't enough or amd wasn't playing well with wsa but either way it was rough.
I recently installed wsa to play BA and it is 100% better and faster than using mumu/BS. Probably your card driver is not compatible yet.
