do you play or do you trawl smogon threads looking for things to post about here
if the tera haters wanted tera gone they should have put in the recs
Joey and blunder are the reason showdown has as many players as it has atm
this just reads as "we're allowed to use community engagement but you aren't"
What person that gorges on a YouTuber's content every day is going to have an opinion that's any different than said YouTuber? The vast majority of them won't.
next to nobody. it's easy to imagine, but do you feel like you're just a parrot?
You just sound naive. People do listen to what YouTubers have to say without having anywhere near the amount of experience they do, because they are considered authorities on the topic.
The difference here is that not just anyone can vote in a suspect test. You have to be good at the game in order to earn that right.
like I said, it's easy to imagine and even makes logical sense
but when you think about your own experiences, does this happen very often?
This is the type of homosexual that wants everything banned and no fun allowef
didnt blunder literally respond to that post
>Getting upset at Strong Jaw Joey
>Getting upset at one of the few people that isn’t troonyweedle to make Showdown popular with actual good content and friends
>Getting mad at the one guy who was able to criticize Joe Merrick’s coverage of the Korea boogaloo without being attacked and and accused of being a pedophile by homosexuals like Liam and Duncan
I have no horse in this race but it's great when hypocrisy is called out
AGENCY AGENCY
The Agency stays winning, as expected.
>nooooo stop having opinions!
People have to earn their vote, and they can spend it however they want.
They're shitting on the two most prolific Showdown players now?
just in case you weren't sure this was just a clique trying to bend the metagame to their preferences
been this way since at least the salamence ban in hgss
No, I realize that, but that's pretty fricked up to go after people who encourage more players for Showdown. It's not like either of those guys are bad or something. Tera is a fun gimmick, it shouldn't have been banned and I'm glad those guys cared enough to try thwarting its ban with their own community pull.
It's hilarious how mad Smoggies get when you call out the defensive play bias.
In Gen 8 it was pretty explicit that no matter what the community wants Clefable and Toxapex would never be suspected/banned.
In Gen 9 it's pretty explicitly that no matter what the community wants Garganacl is here to stay
Volcarona gets banned with no community input in an effort to force a tera ban, and countless gen 9 Pokemon are simply quickbanned.
Just a Fanfinch meta
Do they get defensive about it?
It seems like the majority of players are pretty upset about the Volcarona quickban, and opinions on Toxapex were pretty negative last gen.
niga i aint readin all that
>Do they get defensive about it
Yes
>Random posters complaining about Pex
Which amounted to nothing because defensive Pokemon are immune to bans
>inb4 stupid cope about Lugia or similar
The playerbase =/= the council.
Situations like this perfectly demonstrate that.
Hey verlisify
>Hate Smogon Shark/Bird??? Just bring your own lel kek wew get gud
>NOOOOOO YOU CANT TERA NOOOOO
Fanfic meta everyone
>Fanfic Meta
At this point its not even fan fiction, it's council fiction. The fans don't even get to participate in the decision making.
>you don't like it get reqs and vote xdxd
>nooooo you can't just get reqs and vote you aren't voting my way it's not fair it's not fair
Omgonites
Blunder and his clique are annoying as frick memers who talk like street thugs. I dislike watching and listening to them almost as much as I hate listening to Brianna Wu.
Lighten up
I miss early SV when we could have compthreads without bait.
Anything outside of the occasional competitive general thread is full of bait
They've always been full of bait. Even pre-/vp/ it was the cool thing to hate on smogon.
>wildly immoral
