cod in general plays very differently to how it used to. sprint speeds are twice as fast, gun balance is generally slightly less moronic, perks are less dumb and don't affect things like health and damage as much, it's just less moronic in general because devs have realised some things were kinda dumb
most of these people have not actually played old cods because they came out like 15 years ago at this point
these people think somehow think bo4 the failed overwatch clone is somehow classic cod and 350ms average ttk is normal

MWII IS slow because it penalizes aggressive play even more than MW19 with a spastically low TTK meant to be noob-friendly.
That and IW 8/9 movement is in fact slower than the old engine.
fortnite zoomers actually have awful reaction time because all they do is rote learn spam button presses like slide cancelling and building and shit
they don't actually try to improve their aim and reaction time like a normal person because they're stupid so they always complain shit like I HAD NO TIME TO REACT HE KILLED ME INSTANTLY while they were actually being shot at for literally 2 whole seconds
should add that this is also why aim assist has generally increased over time. because these people think they are good at games when they are actually garbage so there must be a problem with the game and that's why they died

i think it's there, the missions are just not consistently kino as the og but the style is there, from the trailer i think we'll get what we want in the new game that releases in november.

Its fine people nitpick it too hard you could nitpick mw2 2009 just as hard yet people dont.
MW2 2009 goes too fast and adds in explosions to hide its horrible plot. MW22 is too slow burn so it gives people time to question the plot more.

the highs are not as good as before, but its still consistently good, warzone and dmz are great
